It's true that the portion sizes here are large, but with some strategy, you can easily walk out of here full but not uncomfortable. The four of us came ready for meat sweats after wandering around Rio all day, and decided to play it safe with ordering two types of meats and a number of sides. With an English menu available, we decided to go with the Picanha and Filet Mignon with black peppercorn sauce for the meats. For our sides, we went with french fries, farofa, and broccoli. Something to note is that the vegetables and sides are unsalted. When you eat the sids in conjunction with the meats (they use a ton of salt on the grilled meats), it's perfect. Separately? Not so good. We hadn't had farofa yet, so trying this at Majorica was fun. Farofa is a staple item that Brazilians use when eating grilled meats, and this version of farofa was mixed with egg (there's an option to mix in plantain too). All in all, everything liked the filet mignon with peppercorn sauce, but I personally found the Picanha to be the best. English is spoken, although don't plan on asking a ton of questions since their English is limited to what's on the menu. The open grill area makes for some fun photos, especially since you can see everything that's being done!
