My friends and I were visiting it last weekend, and we all paid for the tickets. But it was so strange! They don’t allow photos , and they told us we need to request for taking pictures by submitting special form online. No idea why! Is it racist? I never seen anyone else had the same experience.
Thanks for your response. Just to clarify, I was there with friends and the photos were strictly for personal use—nothing commercial at all. However, no one confirmed this with us on site. We purchased four tickets, yet our experience was still disrupted, as we were repeatedly stopped from taking photos, which really took away from the visit.
In addition, there were no signs of an extended photo shoot on our end. We did not have outfit changes, did not spend an excessive amount of time in any one area, and did not use tripods, lighting, or any other equipment. We were simply friends taking photos for each other. Given that, I’m honestly unclear why we were repeatedly asked to stop. We were only there for about 10 minutes total, including taking photos and reading the on-site introductions, yet staff approached us three times. It made us feel uncomfortable, so we ended up leaving after spending at most 15 minutes in the house.
