For something different, this late-hours specialist leans into gopchang and makchang—intestine cuts beloved in Korea—plus naengmyeon and stews. Recent reviews and delivery listings confirm it’s going strong, and regulars praise attentive service and a lively, bar-like vibe.

This place was really good. Only gave it 4 stars because wish they had Lettus provided like other Korean BBQ location.

Went for an early date night, and was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere and fast service! My Spouse got the oxtail soup, which was delicious. Maybe keep in mind The meat does come as strips and not oxtail bone. I got the spicy small intestine stir fry. We have to go back and explore the menu a bit more!

I like the cozy atmosphere in the restaurant! The ox bone soup is quite good, but it contains meat slices instead of actual beef bones; the beef bulgogi is not short ribs, which is a bit disappointing. The corn cheese is delicious!

Love to eat there spicy chicken feet and mackchang!!! My son(7years old) also love this restaurant because of pork belly and cold noodles. They are very kind to children and providing small portion of soup and rice for small kids. Love to hang out with my friends there!!! Their corn cheese is very 👍.

Came here to try something new for a birthday dinner. We were a party of 5. We were told that it would be about a 30 minute wait because they would need for tables to be cleared as they have no tables for 5. We decided to wait as it seemed pretty busy and got good reviews. We waited very patiently. At the 50 minute mark, I saw two tables pay and leave. There were three tables in a row - each that seat 4. One table was already empty since we first entered the restaurant. I thought they would clean off the center table and put it together with the empty table. They cleaned off the empty table, and sat a family of 4 that had JUST walked in. I still waited because I thought that they would just clean the other two tables and then seat us. I waited an additional 10 minutes while they cleaned OTHER tables. I finally went to the host and asked why we hadn't been seated yet. He said that they don't have tables for 5 and that they were getting the two tables ready. I then asked why have the tables been sitting empty/dirty for 10 minutes? At this point, I felt discriminated against as they had used up one of the tables they could have given us. I got a very unapologetic "sorry," and I told him that I wasn't going to stay. We waited one hour, I saw people come and go, and get seated before us when the opportunity to seat us was there. I had my two small children with me. We left hungry, but I was not going to give them my business after the treatment I got. The worst thing is that they probably don't even care.

The intestine is so crispy and juicy and not too gamey. It is on the higher price point but the quality matches the price! I got the intestine combo and they cook it ahead for you which I love. Very cozy ambience. Great customer service too.

UPDATE: No more tableside bbq grill but they have the hot plate used in Korea where the oil just drains out of a hole into a bowl. It’s JUST as authentic a feel! I had ordered takeout from here several SEVERAL times after trying really hard to find a good Seolleongtang (설렁탕) soup. Somehow I stumbled across this brand new restaurant (to me) and ordered a few things to try. Basically I order from this place at least once a month now. Tonight I made up my mind to go and sit in and try the actual gopchang and daechang and the other delicious goodies I only saw on TV. OMG I was not disappointed. The atmosphere alone, the inside of the restaurant transports you right to Korea in a small village or street where you have shops that you can pick from to eat street food like these grilled intestines. Do not be afraid to try new things! I was at first very nervous because I am not Korean and my husband isn’t either so I was scared of being judged. Never fear because the owners there are so kind and welcoming as ever so please do not be afraid! So the first thing we did was order large intestine because I have never had it before. ZERO regrets! It tastes like the crispy fatty part of bacon and oh so smokey and wonderfully cleaned. No weirdness at all because they really care about their food preparation. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy eating here. For beginners I would definitely suggest that large intestine because the small intestine has a more bitter taste. For people who don’t want to eat this at all, there are mushrooms and really good beef brisket you can grill! The dishes are served with picked radish and a plate of green chives that you will eat with the grilled food. It comes with dipping sauces as well and some really good hot spicy soup to warm you up for your meal. You can order some deliciously unique purple rice separately or some ramyun noodles. Everything is appropriately distanced and you are seated privately and separately from other patrons. I love it. Give this restaurant a shot! Also don’t mind the loud noises from other diners who are rambunctious. It is because you are encouraged to drink alcohol here with these kinds of food and I think it’s so nice to be in such loud and happy company where people are eating delicious food and drinking delicious drinks. Truly the best most unique of Korean BBQ experiences in Washington State and the only one that is a true and proper GOPCHANG restaurant. AND THEY OPEN LATE SO YOU CAN DRIVE DOWN FROM SEATTLE WITH NO TRAFFIC.

Google
I had a very good experience for my first time having these classic Korean soups! We had several which will be added into the photos which I attach along with a ramen side. The SulLungTang was extremely good with a minor learning curve as we discovered that it requires seasoning at the table by the eater. The spicy pork and potatoes were absolutely delicious. You definitely get your money's worth with the huge bones. The guy running the shop was helpful and wildly friendly. He checked in on us a perfect amount and explained the house specials and sides in a way that was never patronizing for two people who had never eaten these dishes. I regularly come down to this area to try all the restaurants and this one will become a regular to bring friends and family.

Yelp
always a great meal at makchang drama! i highly recommend trying their small/large intestine. it's definitely a hearty/heavier meal, but i think it pairs so well with an ice cold beer/soju and the various dipping sauces and banchans they provide, like their green onion salad, fish cake, radish kimchi. the intestine comes out nice and hot on a sizzling plate, and is quite a generous portion. the bbq also comes with a spicy soup, very spicy but so so flavorful. i've also tried their kimch fried rice, which i feel they've made a bit more special than regular kimchi fried rice, maybe it's ginger, and something that makes it richer and tastier. we have also had their corn cheese, which is pretty basic in terms of corn cheese but hits the spot all the same! it's a wonderful restaurant with great vibes, for either a casual dinner or you could even host a sizeable party as there is plenty of seating/tables. service was great and the employees were very attentive and checked up many times throughout our meal and kindly refilled our banchan.

Yelp
From entry, the service and ambiance is extremely welcoming from staff and owner. This type of establishment is a cozy vibe where they make you feel at home. Ordered the combo of small/large intestine that comes to the table pre-cooked and you can cook the rest on a gas grill to the element of crisp you like to enjoy your meat. The meal comes with a very clean spicy seafood broth that goes excellent with soju. The sides, the owner brought fresh to accommodate us. They had every flavor or soju from mango apple, yogurt, peach, citron, and so much more. Will definitely be back again!

Yelp
Everytime I visit Korea, I make sure to eat at a gopchang (intestine) place. When I saw Makchang Drama on social media, I knew I had to make my way to Lakewood. It is a bit far out from Seattle but it was worth the drive. I got the BBQ Intestine combo A for the two of us and it was the perfect amount. The bread is there to soak up the oil. It's a combo with small, large intestine, beef stomach, and pork heart. Will definitely visit again!
google avatar

Annabel L.

Yelp
I had mistaken makchang for dechang and vice versa. I like the dechang more than makchang and would like to make that clarification :) dechang is the one that comes out in a circular shape and has a crunchy exterior and fatty interior right?? That's the one I'm talking about...!
google avatar

Mag A.

Yelp
The place is really a Korean BBQ atmosphere. We love it, especially we used to live in Korea for years. We just wish we could BBQ ourselves instead of the kitchen does it for us. Next time when if we decide to go, I will order the special Makchang with extra port belly and have the kitchen to cook Makchang little bit longer. The Banchan dishes are more for adults than kids friendly. I felt sorry for my kids that they love Japchae so much but it has to be separate order. There are still quite a bit space the restaurant can improve. We will come back later to check one more time.

Yelp
This place hits the spot every time I want gopchang. We normally get either the combo a or combo b (depending on our appetite) as well as the small intestine soup! The kimchi fried rice is also very good here! Only downside is that it's packed on the weekends, if you have a bigger party you can call ahead to make reservations though.
google avatar

Yelp
Corn cheese is very delicious and cheesy. I like this restaurant because they are fast, efficient, friendly. The food is a great value value with good portions. My kids don't like intestines, but they really like this restaurant because of the variety of appetizers. The intestine dishes look great but we come here for all the side dishes. It is very cute inside. Feels like you're in a kdrama. Such fun vibes.

Yelp
Yeah, it's super far if you're coming from Seattle, and it's pricy too. But if you're a lover of fried intestines and Korean bar vibes , I think Makchang Drama is totally worth the trip. Make a day of it. Hang out at Southcenter Mall with some friends, go to Round 1 arcade, travel down to Makchang Drama for guts and KBBQ, then find a noraebang (Korean karaoke) spot on your way back up. Drink a bunch of soju. (Not the driver.) Get merry. I love makchang (beef intestines) and gopchang (small intestines) for their chewy, fatty texture and super savory flavor! If you're not a fan of fatty or chewy meat products (like chicken skin, pork belly, tendon, offal, etc), you might not be a fan of this. But if you love guts (like me), you'll love these! They come out on a smoking hot grill so they're just a bit crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside... mmm... I'm salivating just thinking of it. Cut through the oil with some somaek (soju + beer) and you're cooking! We ordered a couple of other dishes (like the boiled pork) and it came with free banchan (side dishes). I definitely would go again, and often -- if only it wasn't so far! It's all the way down in Lakewood, just past Tacoma. I'll just have to settle for only making a special trip once in a while.

Yelp
Good food and good service. A bit on the pricey side though. Almost $400 for 6 adults... Definitely worth checking out though if you are in Lakehood.

Yelp
Craving naengmyeon and wanted to try their specialty, gopchang aka intestines. I don't normally eat gopchang. Easy to get to off of S Tacoma Way in a little plaza. Parking is shared with other stores and restaurants, it can get busy. Otherwise you can get parking right out front. We ordered the combo spicy stir fried gopchang and spicy cold noodles. Walking in you feel like you're in a Korean bar. The vibe and ambiance/sectioned off areas for more privacy really take you somewhere else. Loved all the cute decor and signs everywhere. Naengmyeon or spicy cold noodles were delicious. One of my favorite things to eat during the summer time. Fresh, spicy, tangy and filling. The gopchang stir fry was good! No gamy taste and the sauce compliments it really well. For it being "spicy" it wasn't very spicy at all. The pickled onions are so nostalgic. Server was efficient and friendly. If you're a gopchang lover or want to try it I would give makchang drama a try! They do have other Korean dishes on their menu.

Yelp
Large Intestines. Japchae. Spicy Ox soup. Large intestine is bomb! Tasty and spicy, will def gonna come back here for this. On the other hand, I was disappointed with Japchae and Ox soup. Japchae is dry and couldve been tastier, while Ox soup is more like of just a beef soup not even tasty at all
google avatar

Veronica C.

Yelp
This would be for sure in the middle. It's not the best for me personally, but it's better for those who like intestines. They have more variety in that category. For just the brisket and pork belly. It was a bit much in terms of price, but if you divide it with another friend, it seems reasonable. With the 2 things that we ordered (brisket and pork belly), we felt like we could eat a little more. Side dishes are different from what I'm used to, but the kimchi green onions were strong. Their soup is included, but it felt spicy on the back of my throat (when I swallow it). Maybe I'm just weak. The restaurant gives almost all table area privacy, so that was the nice thing. You do pay at the front in case anyone needs to know.

Yelp
We particularly enjoyed the corn cheese (or cheese corn, you get it). We loved the meats we got, but I was a little disappointed that for $28.99 we only got like 6-7 pieces of brisket in a plate... I would come back to try the large beef intestine though.

Yelp
The number of good Korean restaurants in the greater Seattle area is steadily increasing as I make more and more visits down South Seattle such as Federal Way / Lakewood. No pain no gain. 45+ minutes drive from downtown Seattle area one way. My friends and I decide to drive even further south after spending some time in Southcenter as we all like to eat intestines and other friends will not be down to. It was actually fairly busy due to the small amount of tables in the restaurant, so we had to wait 30 minutes, but it was worth it because this is one of the better makchang / gopchang places I have had, even better than the ones in the Bay Area. We shared the combo A (small combo) which also comes with spicy sprout soup, kimchi fried rice, and spicy cold buckwheat noodles (Bibim Naengmyeon). The combo is very filling as intestines are quite fatty by nature. They have bread on the plate to soak up the insane amount of oils, which is nice as most places do not do that. I specifically like makchang more than gopchang now that I tried both, but both of them are very well prepared here. The spicy sprout soup is quite spicy but a nice palate cleanser for the food. Kimchi fried rice is also quite spicy but flavorful, though I wished they added an egg. Seaweed is placed on top of the rice for additional garnish. Spicy cold buckwheat noodles are very good - quite chewy and enjoyable to eat - but also dangerous as it is good enough you would accidentally eat the entire the bowl without paying attention. One thing to note is that English is strictly a second language here as they would want to speak to you in Korean only regardless, so language barrier is there. But overall, I would highly recommend this place to try, and if you never had makchang or gopchang before, this is a great place to try them for the first time.

Yelp
Sometimes I think food here is better than what I had in Korea. lol No gamy smell of intestine and seasonings; is just perfect, not disturbing the intestine flavor. Only concerns are 1) it is always long wait, 2) so crowded and 3) short staffs. But worth it. Always rock paper scissors to pick DD for the night because their grill menu is great with Soju ! mmmm I always end up with spending more than $200 here so cant go very often but I always crave this lol.

Yelp
Wahh this place was soooo good!! My friend and I decided to come here for a late lunch. We were the first inside once they opened haha. The drive was not bad from west seattle. Inside was decorated so cute. There was wooden panels and all sorts of Asian decorations. Food came out rather quick. We ordered combo A to share since the other combo seem quite big and spicy udon. The combo came out with some side dish and soup. The soup was so nice and flavorful. Really helped cut some of the fatty taste of the intestines. Both small and large intestine were delicious. We both had it cooked to a crisp. Very clean and didn't have the weird gamey taste I thought I was going to get. I also had most of the tripe as my friend doesn't like tripe but honestly her loss cus it was so good. The server also told us not to eat the slice bread that came with the meal but we knew that it was to help soak up the fat and oils hahaha. Apparently people do eat it. He was really nice and friendly. The udon was a good end of our meal. Lots of flavor wish there was more udon than meat haha. There was a lot of meat left over even after we had finished all the udon. Will definitely be back! Parking is easy and service was great.
google avatar

Yelp
It's sad that the food was subpar. You will need to go to LA if you want good intestine. Will not return.
google avatar

Jonathan B.

Yelp
Let's get this out of the way first - it's pricey but totally worth it. Especially if you want what they're cooking! It's also super cute inside, with a bunch of walled off sections of bare wood and wavy roofing panels and hanging patio lights. Speaking of that, there are soju twist off caps hanging from the overhead table lights, which just made my night. I can imagine it would feel really crowded when busy, but we got in before the rush. Also, there is a parking lot right out front, strip mall style, so if you can find a space, grab it. If you want gopchang, they have gopchang! Lots of choices. And bulgogi japchae, and several soups, too. I didn't have the gopchang, as I was in the mood for something else. One stir-fried Tofu Kimchi & Pork later, and I was gloriously happy. Such a simple dish but it was made well, with just enough spice, lots of firm tofu and a generous helping of extras. Plenty big for two peeps to totally stuff themselves. The staff seemed super friendly and were really attentive. I came here on a whim because I happened to be in Lakewood, but I'm definitely going back.

Yelp
As soon as you walk in, theres a different vibe Not sure if its the decor but I felt transported to another place. I loved it especially after a long day working from home. It seems this place is popular for intestines but I come here for their spicy bone soup. I used to go to Hanbat for it but they're long gone. I loved it so much I've come twice for the past week. The broth has great flavor and the their turnip kimchee compliments it. Also had tofu w/ fried kimchee. Tofu was fresh and fried kimchee was not overly salty. Plus it came with generous amount of spicy pork. It can get pretty loud in there. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
I went to this place thinking it was an AYCE Korean BBQ and boy, I was wrong. When I got handed the menu, I was looking for the traditional Korean BBQ items like pork belly, spare ribs, or some type of meat and all I'm seeing on the menu was intestines. Eventually, I realized that this place is actually well known for its gopchang rather than a traditional Korean bbq so definitely be aware of that before coming in. It's my first time having gopchang and it definitely did not disappoint. The intestines are vey tasty and has a rubber like texture into it that every bite releases more flavor which was awesome. The makchang was also good and we got the oxtail soup which was very creamy. I definitely would take friends new in town here if they wanted to try something new. Parking is relatively easy to find as long it's not during busy hours as the parking lot is pretty small. Pricing is also more on the expensive side, but at the same time, I don't really know on how much gopchang is usually are around the area.

Sophia K.

Yelp
I had a great dining experience at Makchang Drama. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the interior was spotless. Highly recommended!

Nancy N.

Yelp
The atmosphere was very cozy. The gopchang and spicy cold noodle were good but nothing too special that makes me wanting to come back often. The service was ok, we had to come up to the front and flag the servers a few times. But overall, do give it a try for the experience.
google avatar

Lea Q.

Yelp
I want to start by saying this is hands down the best gopchang place in Washington. I always get the combo which comes with both small and large intestines. Not only is the small intestine super tasty, the makchang here is the best dish just like the name suggests! The chive salad goes so well with the gopchang and makes it so authentic. I also love their cold noodle which is super refreshing and chewy. Overall, this place is cleaner than most Korean restaurants I've been to, the service is great and the food is yummy! We spent less than $40/person and the wait was not too long as well. No matter if you're a gopchang lover or not, I'd definitely give this place a try!
google avatar

Yelp
The service was amazing and the waiter helped us order the right plate for what we were wanting. The soup spicy bean sprout soup was a side dish but it stole the show. The broth is deep and didn't need meat to make it tasty savory.

Yelp
Have been going to this restaurant for past year or so. I have been looking for restaurants specializing intestine BBQ just like ones in Korea for awhile and finally found it. I purchased fresh and cooked intestine from various markets but have not found ones like this restaurant serve. I had to ask the owner where she gets intestine. She explained these are special ordered items from exclusive vendor. No wonder I could not find similar ones from markets. Ones I got from markets had strong odor and texture wasn't right. Ones being served here were flavorful and tender without unpleasant odor intestine is know for. So far I tried cold noodle and spicy pork soup and they are both excellent as well. There are other items on the menu I must try, including various Korean beverages. In summary, excellent food and service. Would highly recommend.
google avatar

Naomi S.

Yelp
They specialize in intestines. Most people shy away from intestines because it can have a funky taste, but not this place. Whatever they do as far as preparing is masterful. Can't taste any bitterness. Super cute esthetics.
google avatar

Kenny Y.

Yelp
Came for an early dinner with friends and was pleasantly surprised! Nice closed off seating which made it quieter and good ambiance for chatting. Quick and very friendly service. Ordered the combo A with sides of kimchi fried rice which was very tasty! Would recommend asking for it to be extra crispy. Note that the soju cocktail is flavored soju. Would recommend this place and will definitely be coming again. Two thumbs up out of two.

Jasmine C.

Yelp
Originally came for the soup before I realized they switched it to a makchang (large intestine) restaurant. I got combo A which is supposed to feed 2-3 people. Ive tried makchang elsewhere and its usually decent, this place was also just decent. I personally liked the gopchang the best out of the combo items. The most flavorful and best texture in my opinion. They gave us spicy bean sprout soup which honestly didnt have much flavor and was just a side item that came along. You have to order rice separately if you want it!! The restaurant was packed and we had to wait a bit before getting seated. Ive heard the cold noodles are pretty good here but we got too full and didnt have room to order. Will come back to try the ox bone soup and cold noodles!!
google avatar

Hannah Y.

Yelp
One of the best gopchang Korean restaurants I've been to! We ordered the "small intestine" and the "1st lining of the large intestine" and naengmyun (cold noodle). We loved everything! The interior of the rest is so cute and I love the privateness of each section. Glad to have this here in Lakewood!
google avatar

Christy L.

Yelp
Food was solid. The quality of the intestine definitely isn't as good as what you would find in LA or Korea, but it wasn't bad for this area, especially considering that most kbbq places in Lakewood don't serve it. We also enjoyed the bibim nengmyun. It was tangy and spicy and well seasoned over all. The ambiance was also excellent. We loved the laid back feel of the restaurant. The reason why I'm leaving three stars is because of the horrible service. They seemed pretty understaffed, for one. But also, the ajumah waitress forgot our order literally every time she turned around. She forgot our order, our drinks, our rice, our napkins, our spoons... it got to the point where it was almost comical because she forgot our stuff so many times. It probably would have helped if she wrote things down, but she didn't do so ‍ also, when I asked her for a new grill (which is a common practice at kbbq restaurants so the grill doesn't smoke and burn the meat), she said: "no one really asks for that stuff here" and dismissed me. I think she was assuming that because I'm second generation Korean, I don't know what I'm talking about.

Chloe K.

Yelp
I don't know why this place has bad reviews. Maybe there has been owner change? I went today and it was the best meal I had in my life. I had makchang, gopchang and they were so amazing! Service is solid 5stars as well!

Nguyen R.

Yelp
Too pricey and I don't even enjoy the service. I had to stand to get spoons, coke and menu. You gotta get something out to eat after this.
google avatar

Gia N.

Yelp
We stopped by for a no fuss dinner. We got the gopchang combo for 2. It came with banchan, rice for 2, and soup. Food was delicious. The place was well taken care of. The owner was super nice and sweet!

Ao L.

Yelp
Had to stand for: -menu -water -check -water again because we didn't get the water the first time Would recommend if you come already full and have a water bottle.
google avatar

Justin L.

Yelp
Do not recommend this restaurant... the food was subpar definitely any other Korean restaurant is better in federal way or Lynwood. Customer service was absolutely terrible, but they probably don't care and are aware of it since they automatically charge 18% gratuity just for a party of 4. We had to ask multiple times for more water and had to leave the table just to get a waiters attention. Save yourself the time and money and go to a better establishment like McDonalds.
google avatar

Sung Jun O.

Yelp
Second time dining in, tried ox bone soup and korean pork rice soup togo before. Food quality is top notch, side dishes tastes authentic and service is fast and friendly. Restaurant ambiance remind me of old korean streets and black and white portrait photographs displayed on walkways adds homy feel. Overall experience was great. Looking forward to try some of the new menu soon

Yelp
NOPE!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!! Wife and I were excited to eat here as there aren't any restaurants serving makchang. But things turned for the worst as soon as the food arrived. It was all dry and leathery, definitely not fresh, and smelled of dooky from the time they brought it to us till it was cooked. We also ordered pork soup, HORRIBLE!!! No flavor just water with bits of pork not to mention the sprout soup was the same no flavor just water and sprouts. Service... what service!? The waitress came to us twice and never came back till we're done. We pressed the service bell 4 times, the first time the waitress came by. The second-fourth time, nothing. I stood up looked over and she was dancing in front of the register. I asked her to come over with the bill. When she arrived she asked what happened to the soup, because we tasted it, added salted shrimp for flavor but it still tasted horrible so we just never eat it. Anyways, I say it's not edible, there's absolutely no flavor and we rang the bell for some salt but she never came by. She says "oh we pulled all of them months ago". Remember she came to us the first time after ringing the bell. Basically, she lied. Either way, no apology, never took it off our bill, just walked off with our credit card. Great way to start our weekend.... Do not eat here the service horrible, and the food is even worse. I wouldn't recommend this place to my biggest enemy.

Nhi P.

Yelp
I have to stop by this restaurant whenever I'm in the area. The intestines was so good. The cold ramen and chicken feet were so yummy too. On top of that, the service was so quick and friendly. We got seated so quickly in the rush hour on a Friday night. Highly recommended!!! Anyways, Happy birthday to the lady who took our order!!!

Kelsey H.

Yelp
Over priced and the quality of meet was not good. Do not recommend this. Korean bbq grill will be a way better option. Very greasy

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place one night because my fiancée and I were hungry. I am so glad we live 15 minutes away because I can totally see us being regulars here. My fiancée and I ordered the intestine combo for 2-3 and a side of boiled pork since they were out of beef brisket. It was so delicious I literally had to do a little happy dance with every bite. My favorite would have to be the large beef intestine though. Pairs so well with some soju and beer. The music was a little loud for us though since we were sitting in the very front, but next time we will just request a more closed off space. The decor was really cute and service was friendly and engaging. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Lowa L.

Yelp
Definitely would recommend finding a different intestine place. They cut their large intestines too small and the combo B which is for 3-4 people is at most for 3. You'll be left waiting for service hungry and wanting for more.

Sitha S.

Yelp
We got there at 12:00am and was told you need to order an hour and 20 min in advance. On a Friday night and there was only 1 other group in there eating.

Yelp
Not sure why this place is rated so low! We got the makchang, daechang, and goochang set and it was delicious. Not sure if theres another location in Seattle for makchang so I'll definitely be going back. The whole atmosphere feels like you've transported back to Korea in the 70s (or what I assume Korea in the 70s would be like) and you get lots of side dishes with your order. I would hold off on the naengmyun however (the noods were not great) but the portion was very large.

Yelp
Food is great and service is relatively quick. It is the same cook from the now former Saritgol.

Yelp
They refuse to service when there's empty table, asked how long is the wait and was told she doesn't know.

Yelp
Relatively new restaurant in Lakewood. Love that it closes later than most places! Really hard to find a good gopchang bbq in Washington, so I'm super glad my friend brought me here the other night. Can't beat gopchang jeongol with some soju after a long day of skiing.

Yelp
Invited my friend from out of town, so decided to give this place a try. We didn't even get to eat here - woman claimed they had some kitchen issues (?). I am assuming we were refused service because we were a small party. Provided no clear answer - definitely no explanation for their rudeness. Went to Gangnam across the street and had an awesome bbq. Please make sure you "educate" the staff so customers are not leaving comments like this. I already see other comments - which means this happens frequently. Just not a reliable restaurant.

Yelp
Ordered Combo B (for 3-4 person) and the portion size was pretty good. Quality of the gopchang, makchang, daechang were decent and bokkeumbap was absolutely amazing!

Yelp
FINALLY a place to go for my gopchang cravings. We stopped here late in the evening, coming back from a long drive, after being turned away from another joint cause it was too late for KBBQ. They're open till Midnight, score! The gopchang was very well prepared and the ladies were warm and welcoming. Side dishes on point, kimchi fried rice is a must have. You get a large portion for just $5. Getting the large combo for a family of 4 was a bit over ambitious as we had tons of leftovers (yum yum for next day) so I'll probably stick with the small on future visits :). I did find myself craving more vegetables or lettuce throughout the whole meal to offset the fattiness of intestine - they only give you some mushrooms and half an onion.
