Make My Fish

I was a little skeptical at first about the catfish because I'm not really a catfish person. My cousin talked me into it and "Make my Fish" turned me into a catfish lover. It was so so so good. Crispy to perfection and tender on the inside. The seasoning was just right and the tarter sauce made it even better. I also had the greens and mac n cheese. Everything was made with love. The line was long but that's how you know it's good. Once we ordered the food came out fast. The owner displayed good customer service and you can tell he wanted to make his customers happy. If you was thinking about going, you better go.

Initially, I felt that this was pricier than I'd expect; but I think this depends on what you get. I got the catfish and shrimp with a side of mac & cheese. I honestly didn't think the shrimp or mac & cheese were worth it; but the catfish - wow. I'd come back and order just that over and over again. Be aware that it's cash only!

Arrived 45 mins before opening to find parking and get cash ( cash only but do have atm inside ) 1130 opening time a staff came outside to inform they won’t be ready for opening for another 15 mins which was fine but it was snowing and approx 20 degrees outside and the line had already started to gain some volume behind me. Got inside placed my food order and waited another 10/12mins. Reasonably priced for 2024 but just a suggestion they could have a lunch special price since they do open 1130, anyways got my food to my car for a taste test since this was my 1st time here. I ordered fried fish fried shrimp and Mac n cheese ($23) food was good but kinda salty especially the Mac n cheese the fish was too but bearable if you have bread with it, the shrimp was really good they make it alittle sweet. Overall I would return but maybe request less seasoning on the fish (as I heard you can do) and not order the Mac n chz.

Finally!! Last Tues. w/my s🌞n. Delicious fried fish, shrimp & chicken. The sides, mac & cheese, candied yams & collard greens(a little overcooked) were very tasty. The staff was friendly and inviting. The wait is about 20 minutes during dinner hours, but it's well worth the wait. You must try this spot😋. ENJOY 😉

They need more space but the food definitely hit! Lemonade not so much but the fish was great flavor of the chicken and good but it did have some bounce back. The staff was very dry so I really couldn’t make much of customer service but they’re not rude just dry.

My go to Fish and chip spot in Harlem. Employees are nice and respectful. Seafood is always fresh!

First time going to pick up dinner from Make My Fish. It was packed, which was a good sign. They are cash only but have an ATM right inside the restaurant. Service was great and so was the food. We had shrimp and catfish, mac&cheese, greens, and candied yams. We really enjoyed all of the sides and the fish and shrimp were cooked perfectly, nice and tender with a light crispy batter - even the hot sauce was fantastic. Definitely recommending this spot to friends/family and look forward to going back!

I went here because my aunt told me I had to go!! When I went I love how the owner allowed me to taste the fish to choose which one I wanted. First of all the young lady who assisted me was extremely friendly! I want to say I already been there twice and I love this place!! This place has amazing food! I would recommend my fav fish and shrimp!! Thank you so much for always providing amazing customer service !!
