"MakeWorks, Brockton Village by Concrete. With 24/7 studio access to desk space, 3D printing, laser cutting, CMC mills, soldering irons and good old-fashioned hand tools, you will have everything you need to get started on your next big idea. As an added perk the open space concept gives you the opportunity to connect with peers and share ideas while you work."
A very relaxed & welcoming co-working space for those of us who are keen to commute within the West end. The space is large and bright enough to have that big office, open-space feel. Perks include indoor bike parking, a clean kitchen for lunching, coffee & beer for members, etc.

I've worked out of this space since it launched— I joined 3 co-founders as the first employee at a startup and our HQ is still at MakeWorks. We're over 10 people now and this space has been integral to our growth. Managing an office space is a logistical burden that we'd rather not spend our limited startup resources on. Not only that, but MakeWorks has amazing facilities that have really enabled us to experiment and optimize our service.
On a day-to-day level, it's tough not to smile when you come into work everyday. Everyone is super friendly and the other people that work out of this space are working on incredible things. It's kind of like working out of a coffee shop, except the coffee is free and most people have their nose to the grindstone.

Relaxed and friendly people that give day to day community to remote working. Some extra perks are good coffee, indoor bike parking, communal salad day, and Thursday evening hangouts.

My prototyping experience with Make Works was horrible. They told me they could build what I wanted within a certain time frame but when the deadline came, it wasn't even finished, and they told me my drawings were unclear. I would have been happy to clarify if you would've just contacted me, I ended up having to go and finish the model myself despite paying over a thousand dollars.

They offer comfortable spaces to work. The environment is friendly. This is a place where your concentration and creative levels can be really risen.

Friendly people, affordable spaces, close to Dufferin Mall (access to food), and a clean washroom which is arguably the most important aspect of any coworking space.

Our company started here and had a great experience. We grew to the point where we needed our own office and had to leave, but we will miss working at MakeWorks! Great facility and people.
