Loved everything about this family owned winery and tasting room. The handcrafted wines are made on site by longtime owner and wine expert, Joe Malegon. Beautiful grounds, rooms and views make for such a comfortable stay. The wines will bring you back year after year!

As other reviewers mentioned, the breakfasts are wonderful, home-cooked, authentic and best enjoyed on the patio. The staff was very accommodating and nice. For the price, this is a great option when staying in Valle de Guadalupe. My only wish is that they had a pool to help with those hot summer days :) Wi-Fi was a little spotty but hey, you are there for the wine not the Wi-Fi!||||We stayed in the upstairs room of the main building which has a fantastic patio. Beds were very comfortable and I can't wait to return.

This was our first time down to Valle de Guadalupe, and it was a truly amazing experience. We stayed in the Green Cabana, which at $125/night was a really nice value. The room isn't the biggest ever, but the queen-sized bed was very comfortable and everything was very well kept. The ranch felt peaceful and very safe. It's a bit close to Francisco Zarco, but once we got into the ranch it felt very secluded. The location ended up being a plus, because it was a good midway point for visiting all the wineries during the day. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and breathing in the fresh air. Ana Rosa (the ranchkeeper) and Lazaro (the chef) were extremely friendly. The 3-course breakfasts every morning were much more than we expected and were soooo tasty. A really perfect way to start the day after a few glasses of wine the night before. Joe, the owner, was a lot of fun when he was around and clearly was extremely passionate about the place. We also had a really great time hanging out with the other guests. It was a good balance of having the opportunity to meet other travelers who had helpful hints about the valley while still having the space to chill out on our own whenever we wanted. ||||Highlights of our trip: Dinner at Deckman's (in my mind, as good as, or better, than Corazon de Tierra at half the price), sunset at the Mirador at Cuatro Cuatros, and lunch at the food truck at Adobe Guadalupe. We'll definitely be back!

Coming from San Diego, we found it so easy and quick to get there. The directions were perfect and the roads great. I loved the fact that the B&B was closer to the back of the valley where many of the wineries were - which made it easier for us gals to navigate around the valley. We did not know what to expect when we got there but were so happily surprised when we pulled off the dirt road (and winding around) into the B & B. So fantastic. The feeling is of a classic Mexican hacienda but with every modern touch. It was me and my good friend (2 girls) and we were there for a girls get-away. We stayed in the Casa Azul and the beds were wonderful and the air conditioning was perfect. The breakfasts each morning were so amazing (thank you Lazario!!) and attention to detail was really on point. The property is really spectacular and Magie is a wonderful keeper of the property. We found that the wines there were actually some of our favorites. Everything considered, we had an amazing experience. I have my parents booked for Sept for the place (and they are picky) - so that is a testament to my approval. I will say that I have traveled the world and this trip and experience was one of my very favorites and most of it because of this wonderful place we stayed. Highly recommend.

Visited for two nights as part of a girls trip at the end of September. Beautiful and peaceful location! We felt very safe. The breakfasts were so delicious! Wine tasting was included! We ended up buying seven wines there between the three of us. Such a hidden oasis! Great alternative to Napa- much more low-key. ||Note: While the manager and chef do not speak English and we do not speak Spanish, we were able to get our point across. However, it would be helpful to have a Spanish-English dictionary or other translation device to assist you.

My wife, 6 month old baby and I stayed in the Grenache Suit overnight. The room had plenty of space for the pack and play. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot with great pressure (Sometimes hard to find in Valle). The property is set back off the road and tucked between the mountain and the vineyard. Needless to say, its very quiet and calm. The room was spotless and had the candles lit when we arrived.||||The staff are awesome (Anna Rosa/Silvia/ETC). They even sat down with the baby while we ate breakfast. Eating breakfast two-handed was a treat to say the least. The breakfast was very good as well! They have 70 year old Grenache vines at Malagon and the wine is very good with a lot of character. ||||All in all, the wine is good, the accommodations were excellent and the people were amazing. There is no internet, but if you're the type that needs daily internet, you probably need to stay at Malagon for a week to decompress. I highly recommend Malagon.

I was surprised that ALL 5 red wines we tasted were just amazing! They could be served easily in the best Restaurants worldwide, but quantity is small so some has to come to the winery to taste or buy them which is a great experience! |... and the owner José Luis is so much fun! We’ll be back soon|Hasta luego|Remo & Jacqueline

This is a ranch converted into a bed and breakfast, our suite (Malagon) was very spacious and clean. It was on the second floor and had a large terrace with a great view where you can enjoy a glass of their house wine of course... Bed was very comfortable, linens smelled fresh. The only minor issue was with the bathroom, there was a rack with shelves located in the same place of the toilet, so it could be uncomfortable when you sit there specially if you are tall.||The ranch is well kept, premises are clean, very quiet, close to the main road and lots of restaurants but far enough to feel away from everything. Perfect for a romantic retreat. ||There is a main room with a kitchen and living area, sofas and tv. Also a terrace with beautiful views, we had breakfast there and we really enjoyed it. But most of all, the soul of this place are Lazaro, who made us a delicious breakfast and made feel us like family, and Ana Rosa who is the ranch keeper, both are super friendly and always willing to help guests. ||Had a great time here.
