"Pretty much everything on the menu at Malai Kitchen is gluten-free, or can at least be prepared that way, which means that gluten-free diners can dig into pineapple fried rice, peanut-encrusted trout, and green curry chicken without worry." - Amy McCarthy

I recently dined at a restaurant offering Vietnamese and Thai food and had a fantastic experience. The meal started with complimentary sticky rice and a slightly salty sauce, an intriguing start. I ordered the lemongrass chicken, which was deliciously tender and flavorful, and the red curry with Atlantic cod, which was equally delightful and well-balanced. The coconut coffee, topped with toasted coconut, was a standout, creamy and refreshing. The service was excellent; despite the restaurant being quite busy, we never felt rushed to pay. Overall, a highly recommended spot for authentic and tasty Vietnamese and Thai cuisine.

I was visiting Dallas for a work trip and was referred to this restaurant from a good friend who knew I was a foodie, but also that I needed to eat gluten free. It did not disappoint! Great friendly atmosphere, lots of options on the menu, beautifully plated, tasted delicious, & great service. Highly recommended especially if you want and need a variety of gluten free options.

Google
The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and offered a good variety. We enjoyed the chicken satay with three skewers and the Shishito Peppers in a basket, although they weren't my favorite. However, the yellow curry was absolutely divine, and the mango sticky rice was outstanding. I would come here for that alone. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and the atmosphere added to the enjoyment.

Google
Ohhhh the food was amazing! Our waiter Tim provided superb customer service and was able to give my girlfriend and myself great recommendations since it was our first time! This spot is perfect for a date night, happy hour, or if you just want to try something different! The service was fast as well! We will definitely be going back, and this is highly recommended! Oh and the Jalapeño Margarita I ordered was FIRE🔥👍!

Google
Really tasty food well prepared. The mango dessert was awesome. All three of us had different dishes and were very pleased. Appetizers were a good sampling. I usually take picture of my food before eating and forgot since it smelled so good.

Every time we come to, we have a different food experience!! We both stepped out of our standard ordering to try something different. I had the Vietnamese BBQ Pork Ribs, which had good flavor, but it was a 50/50 dish. Part of the meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful, but a portion was dry and tough. The curry noodles were okay, but I expected a little more flavor. The Strawberry Whiskey Sour was OMG!! I loved it and am eager to make one at home. My husband didn't realize his dish was like soup. He had the Chilean Sea Bass and fried rice. I'd rate this experience a 7/10.

Google
It’s a nice upscale fusion Thai spot, but the service and atmosphere are the main points. Ordered the vegetarian red curry and the basil fried rice. The red curry was extremely lackluster, and was a bit disappointed considering the price. The basil fried rice was solid, but I feel it is on par with what you can get at other places for cheaper. We were provided a complimentary appetizer which was an eggplant sauce with sticky rice, which was pretty good- the eggplant sauce was reminiscent of eggplant chutney. Their house made sriracha is very good, i would buy sriracha straight from there if possible. However, i do not feel the atmosphere and service make up for the quality of food i received when considering the price. The other menu items may be better though, so worth checking out.

Google
First time coming in and Anthony suggested AMAZING recommendations for my mom and I. The food was amazing and Anthony made our experience even more enjoyable. For reference, I had the lamb curry and it was a 10/10. For an appetizer, we ordered the tuna ceviche, another 10/10. And my mom ordered the shrimp pad Thai, which she rated “best I’ve ever had.”

Yelp
LOVE Malai Kitchen. I always recommend it to people. From the staff to the food to the ambiance this place never disappoints. Will always hop on the chance to come back. Spongebob APPROVED

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE! DO NOT GO HERE!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I visited Malai Kitchen on Sunday to meet a friend. There were three of us, and we ordered a variety of appetizers. My friend and I decided to share a drink pitcher, and later, my husband joined in. After two pitchers, the waitress informed us that we "HAVE TO" order entrées before we could get another pitcher. We were just friends having fun and enjoying ourselves, with no rowdy or crazy behavior. The waitress didn't mention any restrictions when we ordered our entrées and even brought us our third pitcher. However, when we asked for another one, she refused, saying the manager had declined our request. We spoke with the manager, who expressed concerns about potential DUI issues, but he didn't check if we were actually driving home ourselves. We could have taken an Uber, been picked up by friends, or had plans to stay in the area for a while. His refusal felt abrupt and embarrassing. We didn't order dessert and tipped the waitress despite her odd behavior towards us. It seemed like the manager wanted us gone for the dinner rush, even though the restaurant wasn't as busy as it used to be. I used to recommend Malai Kitchen to friends and family and enjoyed their service and ambiance, but after this experience, I will never suggest it to anyone again.

Yelp
I went into Malai Kitchen for Sunday Brunch and it did not disappoint! It is definitely a popular spot in Uptown but I don't think people typically go for Brunch - but they should definitely start! The asian influences in the brunch menu are delicious and you still have access to the full regular menu. I got the shrimp pad thai and it was delicious - I would highly recommend! The service was prompt and the waitress was very polite in answering questions. One of the individuals I went with had some dietary restrictions and the staff was patient and thorough in answering all questions and even came back to reconfirm if certain ingredients were alright! The location is in a great spot! It is right in the heart of West Village, so the indoor/ outdoor seating gave great options depending on what everyone's preference was. The decor was lovely as well! I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Stopped by after shopping in the area during a frigidly cold President's day weekend. Attentive & friendly service. Ordered the chicken congee & a side of crispy roti to dip into some curry sauce. Generous portions; the roti was nice & warm & the flavorful congee was very comforting . Super yummy & hit the spot!

Yelp
Thai curry has always been one of my favorite types so I was super excited to try jungle curry at Malai. They had many different types of Thai and Vietnamese dishes from noodles to soups and whole fried fish. On weekends they even have Asian style brunch dishes! The shrimp jungle curry (kaeng pa) was different because it is prepared without coconut milk. It definitely brought out the flavor of the curry and was pretty good but I personally prefer the creaminess of curry with milk in it. The flavor was pretty spicy and the veggies were good nonetheless! The pad kee mow had a nice smokiness to it and the noodles still had a nice chewiness to it. I also enjoyed the assortment of veggies and it had lots of tender beef in it as well. I requested 3/5 spice which was around 75% spicy for me. The shrimp lemongrass soup had a tangy, sour flavor to it and was spicier than expected. If you like Tom yum style soups, you will enjoy it. It came with some rice noodles in it as well. They had us try some rice wrapped in a leaf - the rice was slightly hard but the sauce on the side was very good! The peach ginger iced green tea is good if you like a more mild flavored drink and Thai tea is always good to pair with spicy food! They had lots of seating indoors and outdoors --the patio was great for a mild evening out. Service was excellent and the server was super nice. It's also located in a nice area with lots of boutiques and restaurants to walk around and sightsee.

Yelp
I ordered from this establishment on ubereats. I checked the utensils box when I ordered, and I received no utensils to eat my noodles with. Flavor of the food was lacking also, when I was finally able to hunt down some utensils. Disappointing experience overall.

Caroline Z.

Yelp
Drunken Noodles, Chicken Pad Thai The drunken Noodles were phenomenal as always, but the chicken pad thai kinda fell flat unfortunately. Still a great meal!!

Raynaldo O.

Yelp
I came here for the first time on a weekend night. The ambience was great and service was pretty amazing. No issues there. The egg rolls are amazing and were small, which is great for a snack. The chicken and broccoli was definitely filling but I couldn't even eat half of it. The Vietnamese beef was okay but we were also sick, so that may be the culprit.

Jewel F.

Yelp
My husband and I are from Houston & were looking for some delicious Asian food and this place did not disappoint! Amazing service & recommendations from our knowledgeable waiter Anthony who went above and beyond serving us! We forgot our leftovers and he personally caught up with us as we were headed to our car to hand it to us (thank you Anthony)! The food was delicious and full of flavor! We got the imperial rolls & Vietnamese meatballs for appetizer and the massaman lamb shank to share and it was more than enough for the both of us! Definitely will be back when we're in Dallas!

Maggie L.

Yelp
my husband really likes this place and always gets the pork bahn me , probably spelled that wrong but you know what I mean, this is not so much my favorite place so I usually get the plain fried rice.

Yelp
This is the worst pho I've had in the dfw area/ever. I was moving all day and forgot to eat so I was really craving pho since I just got back from Vietnam. Decided to try it here and I legitimately coulda cried it was that bad. The broth was really red(??) and had an artificial salty (??) taste, the beef in it was small bits and obviously cooked prior (not authentic), and I think they used pad thai rice noodles instead of vermicelli noodles- which were over cooked and mushy. I was so hungry that I ate it, but had I'd not been so exhausted or didn't eat all day until 6pm I probably would have sent it back. I also asked for the onions on the side since im intolerant and they didn't- I honestly couldn't care atp because I was more disappointed in the actual dish itself. I will say that the servers were very attentive!! I still felt bad to tell them it was bad especially since I scarfed it down from being hungry. I did like the banh quay (fried bread) that came with it. That was the best part of the meal to be honest. This reminded me of those instant low quality pho bowls from the Walmart. I honestly feel bad writing my 1st one star bad review in yrs, but if you're going to serve gentrified versions of cultural dishes- at least make it taste good. There's westernized places in dfw that do, but they add something to elevate it (fusion, flavor, etc). This place doesn't. I'm sure their Thai cuisine is solid and it seems so from the reviews. However, if you are looking for good pho, authentic or not, this place is not it!! It seems like from other reviews others had said to skip the pho or their Vietnamese dishes. Avoid it!!

Yelp
The atmosphere of this restaurant is prime for a date or post work drink. Our waitress was very nice and sweet. We ordered the imperial rolls and Vietnamese meatballs as an appetizer and loved every bite. Would highly recommend the eggplant sauce that is completely with their rice cake. The meatballs were smoky, tinder, and juicy. The dipping sauce that came with the meatballs was sweet and paired nicely. The broccoli and chicken noodles were delicious and came out very quickly. Loved every bite! My boyfriend said he would order that next time we came. The yellow curry bowl was also so delicious and came out very quickly. The curry was spicy for a 4/5 which was perfect for my boyfriend's palate. I highly recommend ordering a side of roti to dip it Into the delicious golden sauce. Can't wait to come back to try other items on the menu!!

Annika N.

Yelp
The Kao Soi was delicious! Lots of flavor and spice (I ordered spice level 3/5). I also got a mixed drink, which was yummy! Not what I would necessarily think of as traditional Thai food, but more of a yummy fusion vibe.

Yelp
Solid 4 star Thai Restaurant. Nice Thai Restaurant in the Dallas Area. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Service was quick and very friendly. Started with the Bourbon Smash cocktail which was very smooth. The mango and mint added a refreshing angle which came in clutch later. For apps we had the Malai Favorite Sampler which came with a nice spread of Ahi Tuna Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay, Imperial Rolls and Vietnamese meatballs. Everything was very tasty and it came with several sauces. I can't remember all of them but they were all very good. For entree I had both the sweet and sour vegetable soup and the Drunken Noodles with Beef. The soup had the balance just right between sweet and sour. For the noodles I was asked on heat level and I tend to lean more towards the spicy side, so I opted for a 4 out of 5. And here is where that cocktail came in clutch. WARNING: their heat scale is higher than most. Either the chef has a heavy hand with the heat or there was intent to make me suffer. Either way I felt like I was being punked or in some Hot Ones episode. But momma didn't raise no wimp so I gave it my all. 8 glasses of water and mint and mango pieces later I was half way through my dish. But I had to pause for the sake of my gall bladder and my family. My family also had the Chicken Pad Thai which she said no heat and she said it was a little spicy and my kid had the Chicken with Rice with Wontons as the build your own meal. Luckily his was not spicy! For dessert we had the Mango and Rice which was a nice end to the meal. It was warm and creamy and the mango was refreshing and sweet. Overall everything was good and would come back but next time I know to respect that heat level.

Yelp
Two of us had the waiter recommended duck special item that was $24.00, much higher priced that other menu items. It was served luck warm and was terrible. It had no flavor, dried out meat and did not taste like any duck I have ever eaten before. What a rip-off.

Sherie E.

Yelp
The complimentary sticky rice with the ginger sauce was so good, I find myself randomly craving it. The Thai tacos were my absolute favorite dish. The soup was good, but I probably wouldn't order it again. I will be dining here again and again!

Joanna M.

Yelp
This location has street parking and a parking garage close by. We were seated quickly and got our drinks right away. Our server was friendly and checked in with us a couple of times. The food was really good. They brought some sticky rice for the table. I enjoyed the scallops with the pad Thai, the combo was excellent. The food was flavorful with the right amount of spice. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food. The vibe is pretty relaxed.

Alex A.

Yelp
Run of the mill Asian food. Not bad but nothing special about it. Decent amount of food for the price. I would go back but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Justin J.

Yelp
Great food, service, location, and staff. We had Anthony as our server who recommended our Lamb dish. I trusted his vision and we ate good. He also recommended the drunken noodles with shrimp, superb. The menu is laid out nicely and the restaurant itself self was nice. We sat patio, recommended on a cozy warm night.

VeggieInHongKong B.

Yelp
Tried Drunken Noodles and veg red curry. Both items were great. They also have tons of veg options Service - 8/10 Ambiance 7/10

Ryan R.

Yelp
Was our first time here on valentine's day and decided to explore the menu. We had the lamb dumplings and braised beef short ribs from the special valentine day menu and the yellow chicken curry and drunken noodles with chicken. Our favorites was the drunken noodles. The beef rib was also super tender and flavored nicely but the angel hair like noodle it was served on was not it. The lamb dumplings were also good but wouldn't order again. The yellow curry was not it, too liquidy and honestly tasted like frozen yellow curry with the chicken pieces also being mushy. The server was super nice and even gave us a to-go thai tea for our drinks taking so long. The restaurant is in a the nice part of west village and has a nice atmosphere!

Diana B.

Yelp
Ordered to go from this restaurant. Picked up inside and the ambiance is very chic and cute for a date night or girls lunch. Actually any occasion. As soon as i walked in i was greeted friendly and helped quickly. The food I would give it a 3.5/5 only because it's not my flavor. It definitely is Americanized type Thai and Vietnamese food. The Panang beef curry was Indian style to me, very thick and sweet. The banh cha Hanoi was overly sweet too. Pad Thai had too many carrot and barely any noodles. Lastly the drunken noodles was probably best of the dishes, but just a bit on the oily side. I'm not complaining there was a lot of meat but there was plenty than noodles. Honestly if you like food on the sweeter side this is the place for you. Thai food tends to be a hint sweeter but I'd prefer less sweetness in my food.

Alexandria M.

Yelp
GO HERE ON SUNDAY FOR ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR!! $4 off signature cocktails, $5 house-made beer, and 2 for $12 appetizers! The service was friendly and fast, food was phenomenal, and parking was a breeze. Not sure what more you could ask for! Wonderful place overall.

Vanya L.

Yelp
Came here with my friends and had a great time. Everything was fine. The food was good, the service staff was very enthusiastic, and the atmosphere was comfortable

Kelli W.

Yelp
Amazing food as always. I've never chosen a bad thing on the menu. Our service tonight was exceptional. The best I've ever experienced there. Tim M. was fantastic. Everything was flawless. My drink was NEVER empty. I didn't have to ask for the check, the To-go box or to-go cup. He was on top of everything. Great job! I will request him next time. :)

Yelp
Very tasty tai food, From the environment to servers and food, this place has it all! We had a table in the covered patio and it was not even Cold, they have portable heaters that pretty much heat up the outer area. Only flaw is with the restrooms, it's only for one person at a time male and female each and this is for the whole restaurant. Our server was very nice and attentive, constant refills when you were low and was able to manage several tables. Food- I got the drunken noodles, and of course I got it extra extra spicy, now I don't really recommend it this way even if you do like heat, as this way can be very very spicy! But for me it was just right! The spiciness really is my type of food, and this did deliver. The beer selection was very different nonetheless it was choice when it came to tai beer craft. If you get the flight of beer it's a good way to try a few without compromising to one. The bia hoi was like the blue moon. All in all the place is well worth it.

Markesia G.

Yelp
Trying to venture into different food categories, so me and my boyfriend decided to give this place a try. The atmosphere was nice.. I tried switching it up with the green egg noodle curry but I didn't care too much for it and asked them to take it back, I think it's more of a preference thing! The sandwich was decent, it could've had a bit more flavor. My favorite was the Thai tea and it would've been the best if tapioca was an option lol. The service was great no complaints.

Alex C.

Yelp
I went for a late lunch, looking for a vegetarian noodle dish. The waitress suggested a couple, and I chose the drunken noodles which to my taste were perfectly spiced. She told me they made the noodles on site and they were delicious and fresh tasting. With my lunch I had a flight of beer which they brew themselves and I would recommend. One. Food was excellent. Two. The waitress was very helpful. Three, the beer was an added surprise and quite good. Four. I like the ambience. There was Wi-Fi as well. Five I'm looking forward to going back. That's five stars right there and I'm sure I could find another reason to give it six.

Sejal L.

Yelp
This is a cute Thai restaurant located in the heart of west village. They have a nice indoor and heated outdoor seating area. The servers were super nice and informative. They start off with complimentary sticky rice and it's a peanut dressing. We got the drunken noodles and the green curry both with tofu. They were both delicious for a reasonable price. Overall, I was pretty impressed and will be back!

Jenny M.

Yelp
To Carissa W. who responded to my review with a generic "lets try to save face" copy/paste customer service response: while parts of my review may be humorous (thank you) to process the unpleasant experience in your restaurant, your line of: "we always appreciate constructive criticism presented in a respectful manner. This helps us to better understand and address concerns without any distractions" - well Carissa, as customers, we appreciate good food with utensils and dishware presented in a clean state, with healthy sodium levels. This helps us to better understand your food without waving down an incompetent staff member repeatedly for clean utensils and dishes while experiencing hesitancy to finish the overly salty food. Appreciate the "invite" back to your restaurant but we will pass. Thanks!

Nicholas-Bjorn N.

Yelp
Friendly service, tasteful and gourmet Thai cuisine, as well as a warm and familiar seating makes Malai the first restaurant you should visit! The servers were really sweet and music was very light and pleasant as well. I miss it already! Order the Thai Tacos, just wow.

Kristy S.

Yelp
Be sure to check out their weekly lunch specials. And, they have a fabulous happy hour good menu. Service is hit or miss.

Ishaan R.

Yelp
Finally ventured to this spot after numerous thwarted plans. Nestled in Uptown, Dallas, it exudes a welcoming vibe. Opted for indoor seating in a booth, bypassing the allure of warmer nooks. The attentive staff effortlessly managed orders for every table. Diving into the culinary journey, the shishito peppers, a delightful choice, paired perfectly with the recommended chili sauce. While the tempura batter could have been more generous, its flavor compensated. The Chicken Satay, though slightly dry, redeemed itself with the delectable sauces. A standout was the house-made Sriracha, a tantalizing addition that left me wishing for retail availability. The entrees showcased excellence, particularly the stir-fried meat with veggies, harmoniously infused with basil. However, a noticeable disparity arose with the curry rice--while the green curry achieved culinary perfection, the red curry fell short of replicating the same consistency found in its Thai counterpart. Recommendations: * Indulge in the Green Curry with your preferred meat selection. * Relish the Thai wings for a flavorful experience. * Elevate your night with the Singapore Sling for a touch of boozy bliss.

Ella R.

Yelp
Really love this restaurant. Several gluten free options. Everything is tasty and tastes authentic. Service is fast and friendly.

Sajit G.

Yelp
Great location, Good food. I like their fried rice options and their sugar cane juice. Rest all are okay (IMO). They have some brunch options as well for the weekend (including mimosas) which makes it worth it!

Domingo M.

Yelp
Malai Kitchen brings Thailand to Dallas! Came here for brunch with a friend and his girlfriend who was visiting Dallas. I'm so glad we decided to come here One of the best food presentations I've seen! Service was outstanding - they were so intentional with giving us great food recommendations and ensuring we have a good time. They truly make you feel at home. Definitely recommend the sticky rice with peanut sauce for an appetizer. I had the Hoi an Hash which was tremendously tasteful! The moment the food provides a splash of Thai flavor and stands formidable as one of the best, if not the best, Thai restaurants in Dallas! I will go out of my way to come here again. The ambiance is classy with a touch of friendliness! I asked my friend to share some of his and his girlfriend's thoughts. Here they are before: Mitzi's favorite was your hash; my favorite was the eggs benedict! And I actually thought the egg from Mitzi's omelet was tastier than the egg from the hash... though she had opposing thoughts and thought the egg from the hash was better! Haha. Definitely, those biscuits from the eggs benedict were the perfect level of crispiness though. And I have to admit that the waiter's suggestion of dipping the sticky rice into the peanut sauce was probably the biggest power move of the afternoon haha

Tina C.

Yelp
Traveling in Dallas, I was looking for some delivery so I can work and eat. The food arrived well packaged. Forgot to add utensils so I had to ask the hotel for some. Drunken noodle chicken: chicken was so dry. I asked for it mild, there was absolutely no spice to it. Barely any veggies. Panang curry beef: beef was very tender. This tasted more like indian curry and nothing like panang. Again not your usual panang with green beans or peppers. This came with potatoes...maybe they gave me the wrong item? Overall, food was not good. Imaging this review so I know not to eat here next time.

Theresa S.

Yelp
Extraordinary food, service and atmosphere! We had a reservation for 7/6/24 on a Saturday night and sat out on their patio which was so pleasant. We cannot wait to go back. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Samavi A.

Yelp
We can here for dinner with the parents. This restaurant showed up as one of the options for halal choices. However when we asked no one knew if anything was halal. They did have a few seafood options which is what we went for. The spring roll was nice and refreshing. The crab dip was okay, we ran out of the shrimp chips before finishing the dip. The shrimp noodle was nice and flavorful. However my jungle curry hot pot with shrimp wasn't my favorite. The flavor of this dish didn't sit well with me.

Mitchell O.

Yelp
I love coming to Malai Kitchen. The food is great and the experience is always fantastic. I love sitting on the patio, it is a great feeling with nice weather. The servers are prompt and courteous. I ordered the Hoian hash and the pad tie with shrimp. The Hoian has is on their brunch menu only on Saturday and Sunday so if you have the chance try it out! The flavor was exceptional and comforting.

Briana D.

Yelp
I went here with my sister and the food was excellent. I got the thai coconut soup and pad thai. I wish I lived in Texas because I would come back here every week!

Rachel S.

Yelp
This is easily one of the best Thai spots I've ever been to. I had the pleasure of visiting last month with our Bachelorette group on a trip to Dallas. We had a great time at brunch, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. My sister and I split the Thai Tea, Malai Favorites Sampler, and Stir-fried Glass Noodles. We were huge fans of the glass noodles - we stuffed ourselves as much as we could on these! The flavor is light and delicious, and made for a great lunch that was not too heavy. On the sampler plate, my favorites were the spring rolls and meatballs. I absolutely adored the tea as well - I thought it struck just the right balanced sweetness that paired well with our meal! My cousin ordered the green curry (I've included a picture here) that was also delicious. Malai Kitchen manages to perfectly curate their flavors with beautiful presentations and excellent service. I can't wait to come back here on my next trip to Dallas!

Valerie L.

Yelp
Came here with our toddler and had a mixed experience. Service was great--no complaints there! But there were a few dishes that let us down. We enjoyed the happy hour bites and shrimp pad thai quite a lot, but did not like the iron pot green curry (it tasted heavy and one-dimensional and needed more flavor). We were shocked by how bad the mango sticky rice dessert was. It didn't even have fresh mango on top! Maybe it was out of season but it should have been replaced with something else or we should have been warned ahead of time. It had a pretty soggy texture and the sticky rice tasted more like congee. I typically love mango sticky rice, so this was a major disappointment. I liked the ambiance and would return to try different dishes, but will be steering clear of the mango sticky rice.

PorschA J.

Yelp
Tom Yum was too milky and could have used more flavor (lemon grass) especially. The chicken in the soup wasn't fresh, and tasted like a true "dirty bird".

Vivian K.

Yelp
Overall the restaurant is ok. it's a very aesthetically intimate and there's a nice bar in the middle if you're looking to get some cocktails. The service was good as well. I would say that the food looks better than it tastes, but it was what I expected for an Asian restaurant in downtown Dallas. The waiter recommended the jumbo seared scallops on top of pad Thai and he did say he thought it was the best pad Thai in Dallas. The scallops were good, not over cooked and had a nice crispy crust on the outside. The pad Thai however was a solid ok in flavor. The drunken noodles tasted a bit burnt, and the tea leaf salad was alright (I'd recommend trying it at a Burmese restaurant because it didn't accurately represent the dish). I did wish the papaya salad had more flavor and spice to it like in traditional Thai style.

Rosie B.

Yelp
This spot is nestled down a small street in our neighborhood and had great reviews, so we thought we'd check it out for dinner! It got noticeably busier by the time we left, so I'd recommend coming around 7pm if you're coming for dinner. We were seated at a small booth next to a window and by the bar, and thought it was very cozy inside. The waitress was attentive and kind, and our food and drinks came surprisingly quickly. Although we had a hard time choosing amongst all the items on the menu, we ended up ordering the Tom kha Gai soup (Thai coconut soup), beef panang curry, and the drunken noodles, which were all delicious. The standout for us was the drunken noodles, but we'd order all the same dishes again! Overall, a great neighborhood Thai/Vietnamese spot with an expansive menu, unique drinks, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Always get takeout from here. Food is delicious. I really like the in-person experience as the food and service is superb. The ambiance is casual but feels slightly elevated. Overall one of my top thai restaurants close by.

Yelp
The food is absolutely amazing! Great service and environment. We tried the Hainanese Chicken, Cantonese fried noodles, the Malacca Satay, and Roti Bakar, all of them tasted amazing. They are far from us otherwise I'd go there every day.

Yelp
Ordered delivery and it arrived exactly as ordered. I really appreciate that they put my cold Banh Mi sandwich toppings in a separate container so they were still fresh and crispy when it arrived. I also order the shishito peppers appetizer. I've I my ever had them grilled so it was different fried. Still pretty good. Will order from them again.
