"A restaurant featuring design-inspired decorative detail and a contemporary feel that includes a kitchen that opens directly onto the dining room. Here, cuisine from the local area and the Sierra del Segura has been brought right up to date, reinterpreting the recipes of bygone days in a creative way and with a focus on meticulous presentation. Chef Javier Jurado, who fell in love with cooking in his grandparents’ restaurant (called Los Ángeles, hence the name Malak, the Arabic word for “angel”), showcases his cuisine on two interesting tasting menus: “Lost Villages” and “Sierra de Segura”. From the appetisers (“small game” and pine nut pâté; wild mushroom and Pontones cheese-filled steamed fritters, Iberian ham croquettes made with fresh milk etc) onwards, guests are introduced to the full flavours of the local mountains, attaining maximum expression in highly original dishes such as pork tenderloin and rin-rán (a potato stew with Choricero peppers). The cuisine here is an ode to the local terroir, making full use of everyday ingredients." - Michelin Inspector

Fun activity to add if you want to experience how morrocan people enjoy their Saturday night! The show was beautiful, we actually enjoyed the Arabic music and the belly/exotic dancing. It’s a full-on dinner with live performance. Perfect for a night out in Marrakesh. The menu is a set price (600 mad per person) which includes a choice of appetizers, main course, and dessert (though the options are pretty limited). Food was okay overall, but the cocktails were way too sweet for our taste, and one of them with ginger had a weird flavor. The only thing that left a bad impression was the service at the end, the waiter added the tip directly into card machine without asking us, probably because the music was too loud and everything felt a bit rushed. Just something to watch out for when closing your bill.

If you are looking for a decent evening full of live music, show and a nice dinner then this is your destination. Of course, quality comes with a price. Approximately, you pay 100 euro p.p as drinks are not included in the price of the entry, 600 MDH are only for the show and the three course dinner.

Perfect location for a good evening start if you're with a bunch of friends. The atmosphere is good (but don't get there too early though), I did not know the artists performing on the stage but everything seemed legit and local (except for the exotic dancers). The service is good but don't expect too much from the food. Don't get me wrong, it's good food, but don't get there for this only.

It’s a must for people visiting Marrakech to enjoy the belly dancing, traditional Arabic music and even international songs and music. It works by a formula of 600MAD per person which includes a choice of appetizer, main course and a dessert. The food was great. Tried the Salmon rolls/nems and shared the Mechwi with my wife. It’s a well cooked shoulder and braised. Delicious The waiters are great. Serving you and making sure the food is cut for you, changing silverware every time. You can stay there until 2h am and then head to a club if you want to continue the night with a more occidental touch

We spent the new year party at Malak Émeraude…What a wonderful show it was with popular Morrocan artists! The food and service was on point! However, I would have liked the presenter to speak more French or English as I couldn’t understand anything and my partner had to translate everything. We paid $250 for a set menu and the prices for a bottle of wine was on average $50-$70 and champagne $200-$500 depending on the budget.

A great place, friendly staff, and very nice performance from the singers and dancers, I was amazed with the program and the different shows, the whole night from start to end full of shows, oriental dancing and singing in different Arabic origins, the food was also good the set menu include a variety between international and Moroccan food, also a variety of drinks. Highly recommended if you visit Marrakech but make sure you reserve specially on the weekends, the shows starts around 11:00 pm and not sure when they close, I went twice and left around 2:30 am and they were still performing. The singer called Souad was amazing with a great sense of humor and a nice voice she made the whole place stand up and dance.
