We were on our way home and decided to stop for soup. Found this Thai spot nearby on the map and tried it for the first time — wow, it was incredible! Honestly, some of the best soups I’ve had in a long time. Totally recommend. We got there around 7 PM and the place was packed — no tables inside. After about 30 minutes we got seated outside, and even the patio was almost full. Great food, great atmosphere, and super friendly staff.

Can’t believe it took us this long to visit! Such a cute place! Love the atmosphere. We came in late September and it’s all decorated for Halloween. Super cute. Food was amazing! Great portions. Well priced. Staff and service quick and friendly! Will definitely come again!

If you’re looking for a wonderful Thai restaurant, this is a hidden gem. From the beautiful landscaping and the garden out back to the interior decorations right down to the last bite of my meal this was a splendid treat.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem in Northwood! I recently spent some quality time in Florida visiting my dear, loving friends, and we stumbled upon a secret gem—Malakor Thai Cafe in Northwood, a charming little section of West Palm Beach. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between romantic and welcoming, making it ideal for both intimate dinners and friendly gatherings. The food? Absolutely amazing. Every dish was full of vibrant, authentic flavors that left us craving more. If you're in the area, don’t miss this spot. Five stars all the way!

It was our first time visiting this place, and we were very impressed. The interior is beautiful, the food was excellent, and the service was great. We really enjoyed everything! Thank you

Had a great dinner here. Servers are all polite and attentive. The outdoor seating is nice with a peaceful water feature. The food and drinks were delicious. Great Thai food.

We visited with a large group on a busy Friday night, and the staff was incredibly accommodating, making sure we had a great dining experience. We kicked things off with the Tom Yum Chicken and Shrimp Coconut Soup—both packed with bold, comforting flavors. For mains, we had the Scallops Pan Yang Curry and Duck Pad Cha, both cooked to perfection with generous portions. We also tried the Lobster Pad Thai, which was just as delicious. Overall, a great spot with flavorful dishes and hearty servings!

Google
I had the chicken wings and soup. Others in my party had sushi, calamari, duck soup and most people enjoyed their meal. I didn't like how they added the 20 percent tip to the meal automatically.

Yelp
Always a great experience at this spot! Highly suggest making a reservation because it's an intimate spot with limited space. The food is always amazing and never disappoints!!! A definite go to spot when looking for authentic Thai food in West Palm Beach.

Yelp
Super fast and friendly service! The spring rolls and summer rolls were good. Tried the duck pad cha, pad Thai and another noodle dish. All were absolutely delicious. Would love to come back next time I'm in town!

Yelp
Excellent food and service and nice ambience and fast service earns this place a 5 star.. their salad and fried fish are the best followed by vegetables fried rice .. wish fish portions were larger than what we got.. highly recommend this place if you like Thai cuisine

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp and wanted Thai for dinner away from the beachside tourist traps. We really liked the decor here; once you step inside, the atmosphere is very Thailand and relaxing. I especially love the back patio area but it was a bit chilly for us to sit there. The staff here were awesome and I have zero complaints. One suggestion or criticism is that they did not ask us for the heat level for all of our entrees. The food was delicious with superb flavor in all but the spice level was super mild and inconsistent. The Penang Curry had the most spice and I would rate it as super mild. My Pepper Steak had no pepper heat at all, but still had abundant flavor. So if you are not asked about the spice level, you may want to insist on having that conversation when ordering. I would definitely come back here regardless of the spice issue, the flavored were incredible.

Yelp
Malakor never disappoints!!! A little hidden gem in downtown Palm Beach for the best Thai around. While many of there food dishes are delicious, My go to here is a whole fish snapper filet Pad Cha style and SPICY! It's mouth watering, flavorful and satisfying . They are always busy, so call ahead especially for large groups. Our server Moat always takes care of us! Love it at Malakor!

Yelp
Marvelous authentic Thai restaurant in Northwood village with a wonderful tropical feel; obviously family run with the classic dishes inc Pad Thai, green curry and that amazing rice. Attentive service made for a wonderful lunch

Yelp
We made reservations for four of us in advance. It was a beautiful evening & we enjoyed dinner on the garden facing the waterfall. The restaurant was busy and the parking lot was full. We started with the seaweed salad, which was as delicious as it was beautiful. I ordered a lobster pad Thai, which was enough for two fabulous meals. It was filled with vegetables, texture, crunch, and an 8 ounce lobster tail. Everybody enjoyed their duck, snapper, and chicken dish. Service was friendly and impeccable. Prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of our meal and a 20% tip was added to the bill

Yelp
Love this place ! Beautiful decor and Thai food that is one step above. Went there on our second date with a repeat on our second dating anniversary. lol. Had duck and money bags for an appetizer. I have been here several times and never had a bad meal. The staff is attentive. Can't believe it took me so long to review. Also they have a private parking lot and lots of street parking.

Yelp
Sometimes I have to force myself to eat something relatively healthy, and a beautiful Malakor salad is an easy way to do it. I ordered medium spicy and I definitely felt that heat, so be forewarned.

Yelp
Great great food! Both dishes were perfect! My yaki soba was delicious! Service was great and place is one of a kind, decor is so fun!

Yelp
This has become my new favorite sushi restaurant. However the pho is by far my favorite thing on the menu. I wish I've taken photos of every meal I've gotten here but as a new mommy I just completely forget about photos n focus on my little one not getting to my plate before I can lol. The service is always amazing n very helpful with my babies need. I absolutely love the outside seats minus the mosquitos. This spot is a must try!!

Yelp
I've ordered from here about 5-7 times, and it's outstanding every time. It's pretty small inside. I've never sat down to eat, only take out. Great food!!

Yelp
We were in the area and couldn't find anywhere to eat. Just so happened to find this place on maps and came in. We were seated immediately and the outdoor area was so cute. Our waiter was absolutely phenomenal and attentive. He brought us extra unsweetened tea when we told him our Thai iced tea was too sweet for us. He also brought us a whole bunch of different spices when we told him we liked spicy food. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because I didn't love the food. We got spicy edamame, which had areas it was super salty and we couldn't get it to mix properly. We got the red curry, 2 sushi rolls, and a crying tiger salad. The steak on the crying tiger salad was so chewy and cut so thick i simply gave up on chewing it. Maybe if it was cut thinner it would've helped. I will say it was cooked very well. The red curry felt like it lacked a lot of curry flavor. It seemed to be more cream based (see picture). Also thought it was weird the combination of fruits and veggies in it (including grapes and asparagus). The sushi was the best part. It was very fresh and delicious.

Yelp
I made a reservation at Malakor Thai Cafe for our group of ten on Thanksgiving week. The restaurant was able to accommodate our large group in the outdoor tiki garden. The atmosphere was perfect for my slightly loud and wiggly toddler boys, but warning: there is no children's menu so I would only recommend this restaurant if you have adventurous kids that like Thai food or sushi. Everything I tried was delicious. Our group ordered the two platters of the "Sample for Four" appetizer to split amongst the table. The Thai steamed dumplings with shrimp and chicken and Spring Rolls were my favorites on this sampler platter. For my entree I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and it was easily one of the best Pad Thai dishes that I have had. Would definitely return next time we visit West Palm Beach.

Yelp
Fantastic place! Super cute decor, no wait for a table on a very busy night. Great service and delicious food! Had the Chiang Mai noodles and Tiger Cry- both were delicious!
google avatar

Michael L.

Yelp
Amazing food. Sat outside in the back tiki hut and had a great experience. Kids ordered sushi which was great, my wife ordered Spicy Lobster noodles. I had Red Curry Chicken which I also recommend. I ordered spice level 3 which was enough to taste but not too spicy.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered the Nam Pork Rib, Malakor Salad and chang Chiang Mai Noodles today. Got insanely bad food poisoning by night. Only thing i ate today so definitely isolated to this.

Yelp
One of the best Thai restaurants in west palm beach area. We were looking for a spicy Thai food for the dinner and I came accross this place. Staff was very friendly and suggested lot of items to try as we were first time to the restaurant. They also offered a mosquito repellent spray when we sat in the patio dining. Their patio dining ambiance is really good. Coming to the food, I tried malakar bomb roll it is crispy and spicy. Also the fried noodle with thai curry is something I have not tried before but it was really good. Overall this is the best thai place one must try in the west palm beach area.
google avatar

Yelp
I heard a lot of great things about this restaurant! My friends told me that the lobster and pad Thai was excellent. I ordered it and the lobster was very tough rubbery. But the pad Thai noodles were drenched in a very sweet mess? Very disappointed, and I will not come back.

Yelp
Wow, this is a little hidden gem! Ambiance is so cute with awesome decor for a true Thai experience. We got the Kobe Tuna and the Pork Skewers (daily special) as appetizers, the tuna was one of the best I've had with a crispy tempura breading and lightly cooked outside layer of the fish. Pork was good with a peanut dipping sauce. One of the Daily specials was crispy duck pad Thai and it was fantastic! We were worried it might be over cooked by the look of the skin but it's was perfectly juicy with extra crispy skin, so unique and delicious. The basil fried rice was really great, definitely a staple. This place had a lot of really unique options I haven't seen at typical Thai restaurants! Can't wait to come back

Yelp
Great find, kind of in the bad place of west Palm beach area. Found through Yelp and saw the reviews so went out of my comfort zone. Was surprised to have a side salad that had romaine lettuce opposed to your typical cheap iceberg lettuce. You have option of ginger or peanut dressing. Ordered the Zumba roll that has spicy tuna, avocado with a yummy cilantro sauce. Very good! Will def come back. They also have their own parking and a nice guy helps you park as it gets super packed for lunch. I hope this business stays around!

Yelp
As usual I found this place in Yelp.it sits in commercial area but is very beautiful and welcoming. The outdoor seating area is just beautiful with string lights and potted plants. The inside space is vey nice too. Great friendly service and an extensive menu. Everything we tried was superb with highlight being the excellent veggie pouches.
google avatar

Yelp
Had pad thai that was delicious and it was my first time getting takeout from them. The service is nice and prompt, and the place was clean! Definitely recommended.

Yelp
Will return. Lush. Yummy. Good service. Once in a blue moon, I go to Thai because I find their taste to be bit too sweet. Glad I went today. Exterior is lush. Many handsome plants and pretty flowers. They've outdoor area too. We chose inside, for no apparent reason. We've tried the following three dishes: - spareribs: chewy, the sauce is good; the redness is normal - drunken noodles - I'd call it 干炒牛河 yummy - Laab Kai/chicken salad: good too. We asked for #2 spicy out of 5 levels, which is just right. Singha beer is so so. The house white which is Woodbridge Chardonnay, is decent. All the veggies are crispy and fresh. The wood carvings on the bathroom doors are similar to the pieces I just ordered from Amazon, in darker color. Albright I've not decided what to do with them yet will figure it out, hopefully soon.

Yelp
The food here was amazing. The beef salad is just fresh, complex, and did not disappoint. Green curry was also delicious. Some levels were a little more conservative than I like. Next time I'll go with an instead of 4 but I like it hot. The ambiance is great and adds to the overall experience. I will absolutely dine here again as the service does not disappoint either.

Anthony C.

Yelp
Ordered to go for dinner. Food was ready in 20 minutes. We ordered two pad thai, two orders of wings, thai salad, two red curry's, fried dumplings and two orders of the lumpia. Initially I thought the price was expensive but when we got home and saw how big the portions were it was worth it.

Yelp
I had Pad Thai..among the best I've had and I DO eat some Pad Thai! Edamame was meh. No salt, overcooked and bland. He had Orange Chicken...said meh to it too.
google avatar

Steven C.

Yelp
Great Thai food reasonably priced, great service and ambiance. Pad Thai so good if more spicy, and curry chicken was good but better to order spicy. Nice outdoors seating . Highly recommended!

Yelp
This place was one of the only places opened late at night in this area and I was so happy it was. The menu was extensive and I was a little overwhelmed but the staff is very friendly and they helped me make my selections. I sat outside and it was super cute, it has a family friendly vibe, casual but fun. I placed my order and food came out really fast, I ordered the Thai rice and it was a huge portion! It was very delicious and tasted fresh. I would come back again when in the area and I want to try the soup!
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
They have Delicious Thai food and great service! The back patio is so cute! It's quaint and cozy.

Yelp
So disappointing. We've ordered from Malakor for years now. Tonight's dinner was inedible. Sixteen dollars for three pathetic ribs. Suspect beef? Even our go to chicken pad Thai was awful. Too much sauce, tasteless noodles, ugh. B-team chefs? Maybe they just don't care anymore. It will be a long time before I try this again.
google avatar

Joanne E.

Yelp
Called in a takeout order. The food literally was steaming hot when we made it home. Everything was so flavorful. It was priced well too $$. The server who take care of me was also very polite and attentive. We will be back

Yelp
Found this gem on a weekend visit to West Palm Beach. It's some of the best Thai I've had. They don't serve hard liquor but their sale based cocktails are really good. We had the Lychee Martini. We started off with the Crispy fried Purses. Perfectly fine with a pineapple sauce that really enhances sweet potatoes mixed with curry. For entrees we had the fried rice, green curry w/ chicken and Yami Soba with beef. All them were absolutely delicious. The chicken in the rice and curry was really tender. I ordered the Green curry mild and it still has a bit of a kick to it. The staff is so friendly and they take great care of you. The retainer itself has a super eclectic fun vibe. We loved the whole experience.

Yelp
We were visiting from out of town looking for a good Thai place near Ocean Drive (Singer Island) and came across this quaint restaurant in what seemed to be a re-developing area serving up authentic and flavorful dishes. The menu is extensive with a large variety of appetizers and dishes to choose from. Everything was done well and we especially liked the pad thai. We also tried a hamachi sushi roll on the side which was also fresh and delicious. Portions were generous and beautifully presented. There was indoor and outdoor seating and they have their own parking lot (there was also ample street parking). Service was friendly and attentive!

Yelp
Really cute Thai place in north wood district of palm beach county. Has a really cute outside patio area that has a little water fall and is covered. There are some flys outside which normally would be bad, but the restaurant provides little spinning things that shoe them away. I ordered a simple tofu pad Thai with high level of spice. The portion was large and very filling. It included some slices of oranges. Very tasty and great service. Will be back againz

Yelp
Everything is delectable and especially like the veggie lovers platter. This is a hidden gem.

Yelp
I came here on Valentine's Day with my honey and we had a marvelous time. Even though we did not have a reservation, they seated us at a nice table outside for two. Service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and brought out our drinks and food in a timely manner. We shared a appetizer, sushi entree, and hot entree. All of it was so fresh and delicious. I have not tried one thing I didn't like here. Truly a special spot. It was a busy night too as it was a holiday and there was a large party outside next to us. There were even V-Day themed decorations and servers were coordinated in red. I liked receiving a rose at the end of dinner. That was special and sweet. I can't wait to try more of their dishes.

Yelp
Was staying in WPB and didn't feel like going out. The food was yummy. Comfort food came in perfectly

Yelp
I love this place I always get a cup of Tom coffee soup to start. I love it so much. I always have to take a cup of Tomco soup to go and My Husband loves the pork also Buco it offers three or four different sauces to go with it so you can you can get it and customized a little bit to your liking service is always on point place fills up quickly so we get there early the sizzling platters one of my favorites very peanutty. I had them as I have them add cashews to it, and the vegetables are always on point appetizers are delicious. They do have wine and beer. I'm still slowly working my way through the menu. The orange chicken was a little untraditional meaning that it was just not us like I get I guess from a Chinese restaurant was totally different, but the flavor was good always enjoyable sitting inside or outside. We well you won't be disappointed. I have beer and wine parking on the street and a parking lot joining the restaurant open at five usually 4 x 5 30 but they have inside and outside dining beer and wine. I'm usually too full for dessert and I always have plenty of food to take home.

Yelp
This is a great Thai place with authentic flavor! We like sushi too and the Spider-Man roll here is super yummy!

Yelp
Still 5 stars and would be 10 if I could give it. Paul was a kind, attentive and funny server who made our experience great. Servers are wearing masks (kitchen didn't appear to), and there's lots of outdoor seating for those wary of focus. We ordered a whole fish that was fried and expertly filleted with an amazing sweet and sour sauce that had asparagus, pineapple, onions and peppers in it. We also shared crab fried rice, which was huge and flavorful. Our party also ordered Chang mai noodles and the shrimp pad prik khing and chiang mai noodles. The shrimp had literally 1.5 lbs of green beans it it, which was such a pleasant surprise, and the noodles were a great blend of texture and flavor *chef's kiss* Don't sleep on this place!! The neon lights outside create such a cool environment, the quality of food is excellent and the portions are also huge.

Yelp
Hidden gem. Super flavorful and good healthy and vegan options. Small and whimsy sort of place lol.

Yelp
Last night I found myself hungry and in front of a Thai restaurant with a bright open sign and nice welcoming garden entrance. The sign on the door said open till 10 pm and it was about 9 pm. When I walked in immediately they seemed to want me to make a "to go" order, however I was a little tired a kinda hungry and I just wanted to sit and eat some appetizers. I'm trying not to read into it, but I did feel like I wasn't really welcome and the waiter seemed to want to rush me along. I ordered some shrimp shumai and a few minutes later I added chicken satay, but he snatched the menu from me after that as if to say I'm done ordering. Honestly I had wanted to order one more appetizer, but him taking away my menu without even asking if I was done took the mood away. The booth in front of me had two ladies waiting for their dinners, so I don't understand the rush to get me out. About half way threw my first appetizer another couple came in for dinner and they were seated nearby without the "rush" I was subjected too. The shrimp shumai were ok, not the best I've had. Kind of mushy and the sauce provided had a taste that was off putting to me. The chicken satay was tasty and moist, served with a fairly thick peanut dipping sauce. After tax and tip, $40 for two small appetizers does seem excessive. I've eaten a lot of Thai food and the prices have been much lower, and the food much better. Maybe it was the hour, maybe it was me. I think I would have to pass on eating here again. Over priced appetizers and an unfriendly, unwelcoming staff is a big red flag for me.

Matt M.

Yelp
We were so happy with the freshness of the meal at Malakor Thai Cafe. The Pad Thai Shrimp was a gift, so amazingly delicious and we had medium heat which complimented the sweetness of the shrimp nicely. Our second meal was Teryaki Chicken, vegetables and brown rice. Just splendid. The staff was so friendly, four different people said "good evening" and the attentiveness for a take out meal was beyond measure. Between the chef's great artistry and the staff friendliness we give it five stars. Thank you

Yelp
Excellent food and service. We were a party of 12+ people with a reservation. They were very busy. The two servers in the outdoor seating area were attentive and accommodated our requests. Food was good. Fresh and flavorful. Some people from our party frequently eat at this place. We had brought in a cake for a birthday. They graciously allowed us to serve it and provided plates and silverware. That was really nice!

Yelp
Heard this place is all the rave for Thai food, nothing but great things to say after trying it out. Glad we have a local Thai spot that's good!

Yelp
So I was looking to try a new Thai restaurant in the area & after seeing all the good reviews on this place I decided to give Malakor a try. When I pulled up I was impressed, the restaurant is nicely decorated & very quaint & cozy which is what the star is for because that was the only good thing about this experience. I received my food pretty quickly & it smelled good, however when I tasted everything I was thoroughly disappointed. The food lacked flavor, everything was bland, drunken noodles were dry & not spicy. I enjoyed none of it & would not recommend.
