Maledetti Toscani Trattoria Moderna Toscana

I searched via google: the best restaurant in Rome, and got Maledetti Toscano. we were served by very friendly, polite and good staff, it has good atmosphere. We had wonderful dinner in here. We ordered: 1. Risotto: It’s yummy, the texture and the taste, combination from chicken, beef and duck. All together enriched the taste. Smokey duck is very special. 2. Cheese Raviolli: the texture very soft, and the cheese inside very super duper yummy. Love it so much. 3. Spaghetti with shell and asparagus: Unique taste of asparagus.. salted asparagus come from sea asparagus, The texture of spaghetti is chewy..very good combination between marinated asparagus and the shells. Best meal on our most recent visit to Roma. Highly recommend!

We booked at Maledetti Toscani because a friend was passionate about this place. I have to say. It was a surprise from every angle. The menu is very traditional. Food is delicious and well prepared. We had "pasta with ragù" for the children, which was yummy. The "Fiorentina" steak was a blast, and the side dishes, such as "cicoria ripassata", were well done. The wine list is a disaster. It is not updated, and most of the wines listed were unavailable. The place is in a residential neighbourhood, and finding a parking lot, at least during the weekend, is not impossible. The place needs renovation. There's only one bathroom but with a changing table. The furniture is ugly. The gigantic 3d printing on the wall is just out of context. All the pictures with the Tuscan celebrities are just tacky. The staff was attentive and helpful but discreet. They took care of the two little rascals at our table. Prices average for similar restaurants in the area.

The place is lovely and the atmosphere is quite relaxed. Every plate comes from Tuscan traditions (on the wall there are pictures of famous people from the region of Tuscany - very nice!). The food is good but perhaps it has lost some quality in the last year which makes the prices a bit too high. Worth a try anyway!

We had dinner here our first night in Rome and could not have picked a better spot. Food was amazing and the neighborhood atmosphere was great. Highly recommend.

Traditional Tuscan fare in this cozy restaurant. Food is good if perhaps not exceptionally so. The restaurant is well-appointed with pictures of Tuscan celebrities on the walls. The menu is very traditional and the staff are friendly. Prices average for similar restaurants in the area.

Very disappointing that we were openly discriminated against because we only ordered a glass of wine and an appetizer. My boyfriend and I received vastly different menus .. one was the "Italian" menu and the other was an "English" menu, with very different options. Very disheartening to see the servers pointing and laughing at us (in an otherwise empty restaurant) and being charged an additional 10% on each item ordered. The buratta was tasty, but the treatment we received was unacceptable. Not like any other place we dined at in Rome. If management is reading this, I'd appreciate being contacted further.

This place is amazing! Tl;dr - Amazing food, comforting atmosphere, and excellent service. Here is a restaurant that truly values quality in ingredients and perfection in preparation and presentation, and it shows! As American students of Italian, we were welcomed and accommodated far beyond any expectations. The house wine is delicious, and everyone in my party thoroughly enjoyed the food - the chef even came out and offered a custom dish for one of us with allergies.

This has been my favorite restaurant experience in Italy thus far in my two times here from America. They were happy we are there, the food came quickly, they gave us the waiter that spoke the most English, but still gave us the Italy experience in teaching us culture and how the food would be. The food.... Amazing! Highly suggest the roasted potatoes, the tenderloin, the green pasta and the ravioli with ricotta cheese. The wine was great too. The staff was so nice. We are only in Rome for 4 days this time but our family trip of 14 are all discussing going to this place again. Malto Bene!!!

Probably the best restaurant in roma. Out of the tourist zones, a lot of local people. The food was very very delicious, as well as the wine & limoncello! Service was perfect and very friendly! If i will go back to roma, i'll definitley come back! Grazie mille!

Highly recommended! Delicious food, with some reminders to the tradition of Tuscany cuisine offers unconventional and creative combinations. My favourites: tuna tartare with figs, baccalà and paccheri al caciucco.
