"Located at an altitude of 1 600m, this property close to the ski slopes has a chalet feel. Regional cuisine, plenty of character, plus spacious Alpine-style guestrooms perfect for anyone looking for peace and tranquillity." - Michelin Inspector

This is our “go to” place when skiing in San Martino. The restaurant is very high quality with tasty food and excellent service, I would also recommend Magla Ces for having a drink outside in the sun. The owners are always present and very friendly. You should not miss this place if you visit San Martino!

We had our BEST meal in Italy here. The gluten free options were great and the view was out of this world! We will definitely come back again ❤️

We chose this place for the excellent reviews. We booked a table prior to arrival (1 hour before), however we were not asked if we’d like to be seated outside or inside, I believe that given the bad weather on the 26/09/21 it should have been mentioned that they also have seatings outside. However nothing was mentioned and when we arrived at the restaurant (it was five of us), I entered with my boyfriend initially while everyone was outside admiring the beautiful view. we were greeted by an old man in an unpleasant manner and we were asked if we have a booking, and when we said yes, he asked if we booked the table inside or outside. We then replied saying probably inside given the weather and he sarcastically said “oh maybe inside”. For our luck the table was inside. When my boyfriend left outside to call the others, the man asked me to show my “green pass” and when I showed it to him he anyways kept giving me a really weird look from the beginning and when my name appeared he made a very racist comment and went on to say I have a very strange name while laughing rudely . He went on to do this to my two Iranian friends. I do not think this is the kind of a behavior and service you expect from a prestigious place as such. Apart from this the food was alright, however the we were served the food 5/10 minutes after ordering, so I actually wonder how fresh it was. My two Iranian friends did not speak Italian and the waitress was not patient enough while taking the order. She seemed to be getting annoyed that they couldn’t order fast enough. However we apologized for this. No vegetarian options offered as second plates: everything was meat based. Nevertheless the view was absolutely beautiful.

Staff is very friendly. I wish for some vegan options (first) and a small connection from the other side of the hill. Overall positive feedback. Plus for the parking.

Excellent food, the french cook has picked up the local cuisine and improved it. Very good value if you compare quality and price. Beautiful rooms. But, above all, it's super quiet at night, not in the madness of S. Martino town. Incredible view, wonderful sunset. Staff is professional and friendly. Manager speaks a little English.... If you love mountains and peaceful places this is the place to go.

We stayed at Malga Ces for 4 nights in January 2015 with another couple. The accommodation is excellent and immaculately clean with comfortable beds with great views of the valley, the ski slopes and the Dolomites. We loved the fact that you could ski into the hotel to grab a quick lunch and at then end of the day you could ski into where you were staying. The highlight was the food which was exceptional. Over the four nights none of us had a meal which was anything less than excellent with lots of regional dishes on the menu. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would love to go back again.

SNOW!!! We arrived before ski season opened... lovely trails. And so much snow!!! Our dogs loved it. Scenic views were beautiful. Many eateries to choose from. One at beginning of trails nd others as you arrive at end of the others. Good food at good prices to soothe hungry belly after a long hike and cold snow.
