We truly enjoyed our Christmas dinner as it was delicious and the managers were so attentive! We each chose our own appetizers. The Roasted Red Pepper Hummus was fresh, creamy and full of flavor. The Autumn Harvest salad was very hearty with a nice touch of sweet/savory- highly recommend! For dinner we had the Charred 1/2 Chicken and Grilled Flank Steak both were DIVINE as the flavors worked so well together. I will be back when the weather heats up 😏. ** Con- VERY cold. Please turn the heat up a bit. We saw some folks wearing their coats, that's how cold it was.**

Ate inside for brunch. They don’t accommodate parties or 6 outside. It was a beautiful day so that was disappointing because we had a reservation and expected to eat outside — seaport is a beautiful area after all. The inside is okay but definitely can’t match outdoor view. Food itself was excellent. The Malibu Eggs Benedict was delicious. Service was good. Overall good experience.

Amazing vibe, gorgeous view, a delightful restaurant, serving fresh farm to kitchen goods. The restaurant primarily focuses on vegetarian dishes, lots of them on the menu. Very tasty dishes overall. Loved their chips and guacamole, cheese pasta, and Shakshuka. The later had tangy tomatoes flavor with cheese and egg dipped in the sauce. Soft fluffy pita on the side. We had a wonderful service throughout. Luckily we got a table since we walked in within an hour of opening. Gets busy later on, reservation recommended. They have a huge nice bar as well. Both indoor and outdoor seating options available, with outdoor having the beautiful Brooklyn bridge in the background.

Malibu Farm was the perfect way to end my New York trip! Although I didn’t have a reservation, the hostess was kind enough to find us a table with a beautiful view facing the bridge. The atmosphere was super fun, the food was delicious, and the service was quick. I would highly recommend this spot and will definitely be visiting again soon. Love vibes, but the front restaurant's hostess management seems a bit disorganized. The food served quickly. My favorite dish is Grilled flank steak, which is consistently the best choice on the menu.

Great views and Scandinavian modern atmosphere. Food was excellent and priced about what you'd expect for the location. Shout out to the wait staff and Manager. Had an issue with my food coming out. Waiter said of course there was no charge. Manager then personally came by to apologize and also additionally compensated without my asking. That's a class act.

Amazing outside dining views. Front of house was attentive. Table service was extremely spotty. Couldnt get any service without continually hailing, even for the check. Off day? Server was MIA. Bussers were abundant and more attentive. Food was fresh and generous. Clean tasting food.

Our team had a lunch here and had a great time. We didn't have the best service as we were seated towards the back, but the food was great and I loved the ambience. We shared a bunch of appetizers and the dip trio sampler was super yummy! For mains, we had salads, salmon, curry, burger, egg sandwich - and everyone loved the meal. I thought the bacon burger was delicious! Loved my mocktail as well. Would love to come back soon.

This place is a MESS. They do not honor reservations. It is run by a bunch of guys without supervision who are trying to get rid of customers to not work. I can understand, I would often prefer to be in the beach rather than working in my office. But subsidizing these guys' laziness is not what my goal is when I go to a restaurant. Do not share your credit card number under any circumstance with this people!!!! I booked a table for six on a Thursday evening to have dinner with friends arriving that night from abroad. This restaurant takes reservations until 10 pm Monday to Sunday, and this was way earlier. My friends' flight was slightly delayed, so I called the restaurant several times to let them know that we'd be late. No one would take the phone so I left several voice messages. When I arrived 20 minutes after the hour, as I announced several times through my phone calls, the restaurant had more than half of the tables available. It was pretty empty, and it was still 1,5 hours before their time to close. However, the very rude manager told us that though they had available tables they would not give us a table because the employees had decided to close before the closing time, being that a not-very-busy evening. I explained that we had a reservation and that we had been insistingly calling and leaving voice messages to announce that we'd be 20 minutes late, and he looked at his phone that has the voice messages light flickering and said: "yeah, we don't pay attention to the phone". To the owners: REPLACE THIS TEAM BY A TEAM THAT IS WILLING TO WORK AND CATER TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. This team is just trying to leave their jobs 1.5 hours before their closing time!!!! If you scroll down you will see that my opinion is shared by many of those who mistakenly thought they would be having a good evening here. This restaurant prefers to be subsidized by their customers against their will, to do the actual work of serving food. Awful trap for unaware customers. DON'T PUT YOUR SELF IN THE HANDS OF THIS AWFUL PEOPLE.

Malibu Farm is a beautiful dining spot right by the three NYC bridges, and sitting outside offers a stunning view. The ambiance is relaxed and inviting, perfect for enjoying a meal in the fresh air. The menu features plenty of healthy options. I tried the kale and tequila drink--who knew that combination could be so refreshing? The mushroom tacos were phenomenal, and the kale Caesar salad with salmon was equally delicious. Unfortunately, the service was a bit lacking. My server was just okay; there was a mix-up with the bill, and after the food arrived, he disappeared for a long stretch, which was interesting. Despite the service hiccup, I would definitely return for the tasty, healthy dishes and the lovely view. Overall, it's worth a visit!

While in the city, I was able to catch up with my college roomie and husband and since I was staying at the AC Hotel in the area - they told me we should eat dinner here. This restaurant in located in the Seaport District and the views are phenomenal at night. Our wait was not long at all and we chose to sit outside to enjoy the NYC summer to early fall weather. My friend and I ordered a glass of wine, and we all got to chatting. The menu looked like a farm to table type of vibe which I liked. After asking my server for his recommendations, I ordered the roasted mushroom tacos and a side salad. The food came out pretty quick and looked amazing. The two tacos were in good size and came with caramelized onions, cucumber, radish, pico de gallo and the sauce on the side was a cilantro lime aioli. The mushrooms were well seasoned with hints of garlic and so tasty with the addition of the toppings and sauce. The salad was good, nothing special. The kale was very fresh and came with lemon vinaigrette dressing. It was a great balance of tangy and savory to dress up the salad. I'm happy I did go with the vegan/vegetarian option as sometimes after eating meat you can feel so blah. However, this was my perfect dinner to get my veggies in after a long night of drinking. I can't wait to come back for their sunset hour aka happy hour.

I really enjoyed having dinner at Malibu farm. Everything was really fresh and tasty. My family really enjoyed the dip trio sampler and the steak and broccoli mash potatoes. The burger and tacos were tasty but nothing special.

Love this place. Have come a few times. When the weather is nice this is a perfect place to come and sit outdoors to see a view of the Brooklyn Bridge over the water. Great service from start to finish. The hosts and servers did a great job checking in and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The jalapeño craft cocktail infused with tequila was yummy. I really enjoyed the summer squash too. My friend had the green goddess salad with salmon and said it was tasty. The potatoes with thyme and rosemary were equally tasty. There were some crumbs on the seat that I had to wipe off before I sat, but everything else seemed clean. The person that sat at the table behind me jammed her chair into mine without saying excuse me, which means the tables are probably too close together. Not the restaurants fault for inconsiderate patrons but something to keep in mind to help mitigate in the future. My only other wish is that sunset hour was not just at the bar. I was disappointed at the menu online didn't specify that.

Malibu farm is a decent spot in Fidi! I appreciate the variety in the menu! Food: we got the ricotta toast and the nachos as appetizers and I'd recommend both! Especially the ricotta toast! For my main I ordered the summer squash pasta which was zucchini noodles - I honestly thought this was really underwhelming and had really small portions! Ambience: there is so much space but it feels kind of cold (like not as comfy as other restaurants) Service: good and fast Price: reasonably priced

I came here with two coworkers for dinner on a weeknight. I have walked past this place 100s of times and was happy to finally try it. We were seated in the outdoor area immediately upon arrival. We all started with the house made ricotta on toast and steak nachos. The house made ricotta was good, but needed a little more oomph. The nachos left a lot to be desired. I ordered the salmon poke bowl and the tomato to drink and I enjoyed both. The Tomato was spicy just the way I liked it. My coworkers enjoyed their food as well. Honestly, the pricing just felt super high for what we ordered.

I chose Malibu Farms because my department was looking for a place to celebrate a co worker who was leaving. I made a reservation for 7 people. About an hour before I arrived I updated the reservation to 8 people. When we arrived the restaurant informed us that Open table didn't send the updated reservation information. When I showed the update on the open table app, they made the update & advised me Open table doesn't always update in real time. We were seated &;explored the menu. I loved the fact that there were amazing food options such as gluten free, vegan etc. It was the perfect restaurant to suit everyone's eating habits. I loved the interior of the restaurant. The restrooms had touchless entry restrooms. All my co workers were excited with the food. I ordered the shrimp flatbread. The shrimp were big enough to see & it was very tasty. Other items ordered included quesadillas, smash burger, poke bowls & the salmon. Everyonewas happy with their food order. There were amazing mocktail options. I had the Malibu Mule. I like that there were also wellness shots & tonics on the menu.

The service started off questionably but was glad we stuck it out as the food turned out amazingly. To their credit, they did inform us at the host stand that they were short staffed so I'll give them that. Once I made them aware we'd been waiting for a server, they very kindly sent over two glasses of Prosecco. The ceviche was fantastic, as well as the tuna tartare. The 1/2 charred chicken was seasoned to perfection but the standout to me was the broccoli mashed potatoes which was hands down one of the best I've ever had. The day was on the warmer side so we didn't sit outside but the views are incredible if you choose that option. Absolutely worth the ferry ride over.

This has ranked up to be one of my top 5 spots in lower manhattan. You get a few of the river and Brooklyn bridge and are surrounded by several other bars/ restaurants and places just to hand out. Service was amazing and nachos were enough for two people.

Quite an underrated brunch spot. This is located right on pier 17 with river views. We sat outside on a beautiful day. BAKED BUTTERMILK PANCAKE - market berries, maple syrup. So fluffy. 5/5 MALIBU EGGS BENEDICT with smoked salmon. Came with lots of charred broccoli. 4.5/5 BREAKFAST BURRITO. Star of the show. 5/5 KALE drink - tequila blanco, house-made green juice, agave, lime. Tasted so healthy

Great restaurant at Pier 17. They are right by the river. Egg Benedict is good. The portion is a little small to me. Unsweetened ice tea is a meh. Service is great. The staff is very friendly. Bathroom is clean.

The food, the service, the ambience all top notch here. If you're staying in the seaport area, definitely worth coming. The burger was juicy and flavorful. The mocktail was nice too and they had a decent selection of them. They have a very large beautiful dining space and a patio that has a lot of heaters. It was very comfortable even on a chilly early March evening. It wasn't noisy or crowded at all, which I always appreciate. The view outside, especially at night is spectacular (see video). A walk before or after dinner is definitely recommended. The service was great - the host and server were attentive and friendly. The menu is pricey. Expect to pay $50+ for a burger and mocktail. I don't know about parking - I just walked down from the hotel but I imagine it would be difficult in that area.

This Malibu Farms location is located interior to a multi-use building right in the seaport with a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge. Reservations can be made online and they do require a deposit at the time of reservation that they will deduct if you/your party are late. Most brunch dishes are around $20 and sides start around $10, but the portions were a little smaller than idea. I got the salmon poke bowl ($24). The habanero ponzu sauce definitely had a little kick to it! It was tasty, but ultimately not filling and left me still hungry after finishing. The iced matcha was $6 which is a pretty good price, but they do upcharge $1 for milks. The menu and table were also dirty when we sat down.

MANHATTAN, NY: conveniently located at The Seaport, Malibu Farm New York is a farm-to-table restaurant that allows leashed and friendly dogs! They are unique in that the restaurant is a building with an indoor/outdoor concept with views of Pier 17. It is beautifully decorated and the menu is California-influenced and gluten free and vegan options are clearly marked. The drink list includes a carrot craft cocktail and it is amazing! This is a great spot to chill before catching the ride back on the Seastreak Ferry.

I have been to Malibu Farms three times this past year. Each time has gotten better and better. Most recently when I went today, we were able to walk in without a reservation. The restaurant was on the fuller side and the atmosphere was lively. I was a bit worried that service would be slow but our orders were fulfilled within 10 minutes. Everything was extremely tasty and met our expectations. We ordered the fried egg sandwich, mushroom tacos, watermelon salad, lentil coconut rice, and the organic egg scramble. Would highly recommend coming to weekend brunch as opposed to other times.

We ate here on a Tuesday evening. We're from Southern California and visit Malibu Farm often, so had to try this location. The views from the pier are beautiful and the interior is open, fun and stylish. We ordered the Guacamole, Chicken Tacos, Steak Tacos and the Quinoa Margarita Flatbread. Portions were filling and everything was so fresh.

We had the Flank Steak Flatbread. It's like a personal sized thin bread pizza. It's very good. It was highly recommended by the waitress. Good recommendation. The Tuna Poke Bowl was very good, too. Very fresh. I also had the Roasted Faroe Island Salmon. Now, we had just come back from the Faroe Islands. We know what the salmon there tasted like. Their salmon is one of the best in the world. But I couldn't tell that the salmon I ate from Malibu Farm was from the Faroe Islands. It was very good, but not as good as those l've tasted in the Faroe Islands. That is not to say that it was not from the Faroe Islands. All I'm saying is that I couldn't tell that it was.

This was overall a very mediocre meal. It wasn't bad, but also wasn't great. They had a ton of reservations available on the same day, so we decided to stop in for Saturday morning brunch. We sat in the "covered patio" but it was practically inside. Not a terrible vibe or ambiance, but again, nothing special. The service was fine, but I wish our waiter had explained the drink specials to our table. I had the "Pytti Panna" Hash. It was very simple and was definitely achievable by someone cooking at home. The matcha latte was just bad. There were chunks of matcha that weren't fully mixed all the way and came unsweetened with sugar packets that were super difficult to dissolve in the iced drink.

We were searching for a last-minute dinner reservation near the South Street Seaport, and luckily, Malibu Farms was able to accommodate our party of 5 with just a few hours' notice. It turned out to be a fantastic spot! Malibu Farms impressed our group because their menu offered a wide range of cuisines, ensuring that everyone found something to their liking. Choosing what to eat was a bit of a challenge since everything sounded delicious, but I ultimately settled on the smashed style bacon burger. It came with roasted potatoes and a small salad. The candied bacon on top took the burger to a whole new level! I was definitely pleased with my choice. Not only was the food great, but the prices were reasonable, and our server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant's décor was spacious, comfortable, and kind of Californian? It may have seemed a bit odd to be in a Malibu-themed eatery in New York, but somehow, it worked, and I found the whole experience quite enjoyable!

Bartenders need some improving with discussing liquor options... staff offered zero suggestions or any background of the liquor that is available. If there was an emoji to describe the interaction with the stafit would be a shoulder shrug... shift manager was present and provided no additional value to the experience. Overall wouldn't return for a poor experience

Cute little spot in the seaport district with a great view. We made a reservation here on the day of for 5 people but it probably wasn't necessary as there were quite a few tables open when we arrived. The server was very friendly and quick. Drinks arrived fast and we ordered quickly and then food was served quick. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. I got the pei mussels which the server commented that it was a great choice. They were delicious! Pretty standard to a normal mussels dish but it's hard to go wrong with this type of seafood. I liked that there was a bed of noodles under all of the mussels as well. Great atmosphere overall and the seaport district outside of the restaurant is a great place for a stroll and some shopping after dinner.

Jordan was a great bartender and really went out of his way to find the drink that we wanted! Decor was very nice inside. Will definitely be back!

I thought the brunch was really good. The egg sandwich was delicious and the salads were really good. It is pricy, but it's a nice locations. We did have to ask for a drink that we ordered repetitively, which was annoying, however they did comp it, so we do appreciate that. I would definitely return.

Malibu Farm New York is a great farm-to-table eatery by the water with amazing views of Brooklyn Bridge. Especially on a nice day out, the outdoor tables are perfect for enjoying the views and relaxed vibe. We ordered: - Local Burrata ($22+) - Roasted Red Pepper Hummus ($14+) Both dishes tasted fresh and delicious. The drinks also came in cute mason jars. The menu isn't huge and you are paying for the quality and location, but if you are looking for a healthy, delicious option by the water, this is the place.

Pro is it is one of the few restaurants at South Street Seaport that you can walk into without a reservation. Food is healthy with high quality ingredients. However, the options are not as tasty as we had hoped for. We had visited the location in Malibu and the food tasted fresher and more flavorful. The dining room is also quite loud and crowded. For views of the river as well as a healthy-ish meal it does fit the bill.

One of the best places I have had this far in New York. The Malibu Nachos were delicious and not heavy at all. The right portion. I had a Agua Fresca which was refreshing and doom a Protection wellness shot. The customer service was great. The view was out of this world! Everyone should visit Pier 17 and eat at Malibu Farm.

Couldn't wait to try this farm to table restaurant! It definitely lived up to my expectations. The weather was perfect to enjoy the ambiance and scenery. Service was great and the drinks/food were delicious. We ordered the spicy pineapple margarita and the razz matazz (mocktail). For appetizers, we loved the local burrata. It was so fresh and loved the strawberry and walnut additions. For the main dishes, we enjoyed the Greek Green Green salad and Smashed Bacon Burger! YUM!!! As mentioned in other reviews, the menu is not extensive but my fiancé and I were both able to find something we loved and enjoyed. Can't wait to go back!

Having a breakfast burrito with a lavender mocktail on a gorgeous sunny day by the water is never not a good idea. And when your server is as personable as your lunch companion, I mean...it just gets better from there. Since we dined outdoors, I can't say much about the decor inside, but the setup outside was perfect. If you need further feedback about the quality of the food and drink offerings...both my plate and my glass were empty of all contents. And it was a generous portion of food. Do with that what you will.

Was seated on time with party of 11. Nice ambience though would be better if more outdoor seating with views of the river/bridges. Nice ambiance otherwise though a bit open concept for intimate date night dinners. Service was slow, throughout the meal they didn't check up on us. Took forever to get the check. Guacamole and chips were good. Service was good as well. Haven't seen anything special but another average higher end restaurant I guess. The view by the water is nice and it's a good place to take a date if you're willing to spend a little.

I had a solo dinner for NYC Restaurant Week. Service was great, portions were huge that I took half of my entree home. Appetizer: Helene's Long Island Fluke Ceviche This dish was deceivingly filling and definitely worth getting. The tortilla chips were baked and warm. Entree: Seared Faroe Island Salmon This dish was surprisingly huge, especially after devouring the appetizer. I only ate half and took the rest home. Dessert: Chocolate Cake Perfect way to end my dining experience. If I had finished my entree, I would not have made it to this Melt in your mouth cake. My meal was paired with Massey Docta, Marlborough, NZ Sauvignon Blanc 2021.

Of all the spots in the new seaport, we've probably gone to this one the most. That's not to say it's amazing, but the prices aren't crazy and it's consistent and the food does have that farm to table feel. I love their Kale Caesar and their flatbreads are very good. Most of the items on their menu are good to great and we've had about a half of the items on their menu in our numerous visits here. But a couple things I would avoid, personally. I don't like their cauliflower pizza, tasted a bit cardboardy. Their roasted chicken is super dry, even though the accompaniments taste good, I would avoid simply because the main meat is not great. Their kid's burger is also little dry and plain. Otherwise though, most of the menu is solid. We would probably go here more often, we go maybe 2-3 time a year since it opened, but it does get a little stale after a while because they don't change their menu much and don't really offer any specials. Overall though, it's a good spot.

Originally located on the pier in Malibu beach, this Californian farm to table restaurant has landed in a swanky new building on the East River in FiDi. While the variety and service remain quite good, I was a little disappointed in the overall experience, having tried the original location. The burger was not very hot and the patty is quite small. I did like the salad and the burrata cheese, but the nachos were not very evenly made. We requested chicken with the nachos, there may have been a misunderstanding but the chicken was served on the side rather than in the actual nachos. Prices are very high, I would not say this place is great value for the money.

We visited Malibu Farm today. Amazing vibes. Bartender Jordan was amazing, great energy. Even though it was busy, he helped us promptly and gave us great suggestions. Recommended.

So I decided to have a little day trip to lower Manhattan. I First saved tons of money by taking the water ferry taxi from ferry point park in the Bronx to wall street pier 11in Manhattan. When we arrived we walked to the freedom tower went upstairs to the observatory deck. Then we headed to Malibu farm located in the old south street seaport next to Brooklyn bridge . Service could have been faster but unfortunately no one wants to work hard for their money anyone I've noticed. The food was good and will definitely come back soon again. We sat out side and it was a nice view of Brooklyn bridge.

Service is terrible here! I loved the Malibu restaurant in LA so I thought I would have dinner here! So disappointing. We had to wait forever for drinks then food then the check! It's like nobody cares!! Thanks but won't come back.

This is a very cool restaurant right in the heart of the South Street Seaport. We stopped in for drinks on a Saturday afternoon and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The bar is beautiful. The setting on the water overlooking the East River is unique. We'll definitely be back to try out the menu soon!

There service I went there this weekend with my girlfriends and the waitress ignored us we sat at the table for 20 mins and the waitress attended the table beside us and in front of us and ignored our table like we didn't exist. Be mindful we were a group of 4 African American women we got up walked out and complained to the hostess

If you're feeling in the mood for farm to table then look no further. Ordered the coconut tofu and steak tacos. was happy with the food. Make sure to get there early for brunch as the service is packed in the am. Cheers

Malibu Farms is a beautifully decorated restaurant. I love this location because of its ease to travel to by way of the nyc ferry. Our server Bob was very attentive and made sure we had a nice experience. Johnelle also made sure we had everything we needed. The food is the real star of this show. My husband and I had impossible burgers and the nachos with a few mock tails. The guacamole and chips are also a must have when you go. For brunch my fave is the skillet blueberry pancakes. The cost for two is about $150 (including tip) I'd say it's a great spot for large groups and I have yet to experience the outdoor patio but definitely for my next time back. Literally my fave summer hangout.

Malibu Farm is a beautiful bar on an even more beautiful location. It is located on South Street Seaport, overlooking the East River. We arrived here on Friday on a warm spring afternoon. We sat at the bar high tops, with the river behind us. The inside is beautiful, very beach inspired, I'm assuming Malibu inspired, but I have never been there. Since it was Friday, they had happy hour specials. We got Avocado Huarache flatbread. We also got Ginger-Passionfruit Margaritas. We stayed here for a while enjoying our drinks, food and the beautiful space. We enjoyed people watching and chatting! The Ginger-Passionfruit Margarita was super strong, but also super tasty! The glass was trimmed with chili lime. This was a fiery hot Margarita! The Avocado Huarache flatbread was also a delicious pick! This was a very generous size, layered with a nice layer of ricotta, plenty of fresh avocado slices and jalapeños. This was absolutely delicious, and it paired perfectly with our margaritas. We loved hanging out at Malibu Farm, it was busy, the service was still fast, friendly and efficient. Due to happy hour everything was very appropriately priced. I highly recommend Malibu Farm and I can't wait to go back!

Came for brunch with four other friends on a steamy Sunday afternoon. It was too hot to sit outside but were told our party of five was too large to get seated by the window (only tables for 2 over there, FYI) so we sat to the back of this cute spot. Started off with a couple of spicy pineapple margaritas which were insanely delicious. For my entrée I chose the salmon hash and stated twice that I wanted the eggs were very runny however when I received the dish they were past medium. I didn't wanna hold up everybody else so I just ate them but this really disappointed me. It was quite good but would have been great with some of the potatoes I saw came with my friend's burger. Would like to come by when I can sit outside and try something else.

Other than the fabulous location by the water along with the modern and cozy vibes of the restaurant, Malibu Farm NY's food and drinks were a great disappointment. The cocktails did not blow me away because I've had better lychee martinis and pineapple margaritas for cheaper. Lychee martini had no lychee flavor at all, no lychee fruit, and had this weird herby flavor. Pineapple margarita was just overly sour with barely any hint of pineapple juice. My friend did not like her watermelon froze either and said it was way too tart. As for the grilled chicken kale caesar salad... it was definitely not a good look in terms of presentation and not practical to eat. The salad was overflowing from the tiny bowl which rendered it impossible to mix the ingredients together. Chicken slices were enormous... not sure if they're normally served like this or if the kitchen just got lazy and failed to shred or cut them up. It really didn't make sense that I had to transfer the chicken onto a plate to cut it and eat it separately from the salad. I wouldn't even call this a caesar salad since I didn't even taste the dressing. Nothing good to say about this experience tbh. Just meh all around.

Taco Tuesday! $30 you get 3 kinds of tacos n margarita! The best margaritas in town. I had the pineapple margarita n watermelon margarita. Soo good. Beautiful location n plenty of spots for yr Insta pics. Emma our server, she's the best! So friendly so courteous n attentive. Definitely give taco Tuesday a try. You'll be hooked.
