Beautiful space with fresh, healthy food We stopped by for a light meal and enjoyed a salad, some oysters, and their version of a Coke — which was a tamarind-flavored, healthier take. Everything tasted fresh and light, perfect if you’re looking for a clean, feel-good meal. The highlight was definitely the ambiance. The space is stunning, and I highly recommend making a reservation if you want to snag a table with a view of the water. Food-wise, I’d give it a solid 3/5 — fresh and well-presented, but not particularly memorable. Still worth visiting for the setting alone.

Anna

Google
Only go here for the view. It is beautiful and that is really the only highlight. The food is below average and definitely not worth the price. Service was just okay, nothing special. What really bothered me was the way the manager treated guest as there was a clear difference in how brown vs. white customers were treated, which was disappointing and uncomfortable. The view is great, but overall not a food experience I would recommend.

This place was so peaceful. It was a weekday and we didn’t try to make a reservation. Servers were kind and served fast. We tried 2 pizzas, 3 sides and 2 desserts. We liked all of them.

Review of Malibu Farm, Tiburon Malibu Farm in Tiburon is a beautiful spot located right on the bay — you can’t miss it as the ferry approaches. The setting is stunning, with two levels of seating: upstairs offers a magnificent panoramic view of the water, while downstairs still provides a lovely atmosphere close to the action. The food was excellent. We started with oysters served four different ways — all fresh and delicious — followed by a baby gem salad that was easily one of the best we’ve had. The service from our waiter was attentive and friendly, and he made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by the hostess. Despite several empty tables, she refused to seat us upstairs, citing potential future reservations. Downstairs, we were placed at a table directly in the sun, and when we asked to move it just a couple of feet for comfort — without inconveniencing anyone — she flatly refused. This could have easily been a five-star experience, but the hostess’s attitude really detracted from what would otherwise have been an outstanding visit. That said, the food and location are so good that I still recommend visiting Malibu Farm — just hope for a better hostess when you go. ⸻ Would you like me to make it sound a bit funnier or more casual (like something you’d post on Yelp or Google Reviews), or keep this balanced and polished tone?no

Google
Great atmosphere. Umbrella provided shade while sitting outside over the water. Awesome view !!! The food was way over priced for both quality and quantity. We had the lobster roll sliders (not only low quantity of lobster salad but wasn't that great). The shrimp tacos were not bad. The fish build your own tacos was ok. The ube latte was awesome. The coconut carrot cake was ok. Service was slow. Not sure if its because of what we ordered or new wait staff. The hugo spritz and Detox smoothie were both great. Slow service. From 1st ordering to dessert was 1 hr 45 minutes. ~$ 190 for 2 people. We had reservations so being seated was fast.

Google
The restaurant and the views are amazing. Service was prompt and friendly. We got really nice patio seating. Unfortunately the food is very average in taste. We ordered the shrimp tacos, avocado toast, and a tomato pizza.

Google
I was enchanted by the decor of this place—it is elegant and cozy. I also thought the food was fantastic, but the receptionist was extremely rude. My friend and I felt like we were bothering her. When I read the reviews after going to this restaurant, I realized that this type of service is normal. This is unfortunate for a charming place with well-executed food. I would give it a 4.5 rating, hoping they improve the service.

Google
Really enjoyed my experience here. Amazing views, and the food was sooo fresh. Ambience was nice as well. Only complaints I have are about the price, but again, it is tiburon! Parking can also be slightly difficult. My favorite was the ox tail bao buns! Would come here again. Waiter was very friendly as well.

Yelp
Omar was an incredible server. His positive energy was contagious. I come to Malibu Farm because of Omar and the food.

Yelp
Came here for an overdue catch-up with a friend. We visited on a Thursday afternoon, walked right in with no reservations, and were seated outside. The service was excellent, the view was stunning, and the seating was comfortable and spacious. Overall, the ambiance feels both luxurious and relaxed. We ordered the coconut ceviche, oysters, pickled beet & burrata salad, and the spicy chorizo pizza, everything was absolutely delicious. I also had an ube latte, which was both beautiful and flavorful. Highly recommend this spot to anyone!

Yelp
It's always busy here so reservation is definitely recommend. We really enjoyed the cocktails and pizza here mostly, however oyster on the half-shells, and salad are also great option. Vibrant wine, if you could get a table outside is a plus. Don't forget to stop by the ice cream shop on the way out (next door) one of the best Salted Caramel ice cream if they have it.

Yelp
When we were visiting Tiburon, Malibu Farm was a restaurant that another friend of ours recommended that we check out while we were there. It's pretty near the ferry, so the location is quite convenient to get to. We made a reservation beforehand so we were seated quickly once our party arrived, and if the weather is nice you should definitely sit on the patio because the view is great! For the food we decided to get the Swedish Pancakes, Surfers Rancheros, and the Smoked Salmon Pizza. While the food is on the pricier side given the location, all of the dishes were quite tasty and well-made. I particularly enjoyed the Surfers Rancheros, which had a good crisp to it and lots of flavor. Overall, this is a solid place to check out if you're ever visiting in Tiburon!

Yelp
Came here for an anniversary dinner. We made a reservation for Saturday evening on resy and over the phone to try and get an outside table with a view, and they said they can't promise anything. We didn't arrive particularly early as we didn't care too much for it but they did save us a beautiful table outdoors! It was perfect. They also gifted us sparkling wine and a signed card from all staff. So sweet. We ordered: Jalapeño lobster toast: 5/5 has the perfect kick Summer corn soup: 5/5 not just the powder corn potage mix, iykyk. Pretty generous amount of lobster too Miso broiled sea bass: 4/5 the miso baste was a bit sweet for me, but my first bite also contained a lot of it to be fair. Rest of the fish was amazing and tender. The pea sauce on the side was kind of strange. Bering sea king crab spaghetti: 4/5 topped with generous amount of crab, this was great for a few bites but too acidic/tomato-ey for me after a while. Having dined at a few other Michael Mina restaurants I expected a candle lit experience but considering the location it made sense that it was more casual and inclusive. Really enjoyed the service and food!

Yelp
Brunch at Malibu Farm Tiburon was pure perfection - sunshine, waterfront views, and the kind of California charm that makes you forget time exists. I accidentally made our reservation at Malibu Farm Malibu (yes, the one in SoCal!), but the Tiburon team couldn't have been more gracious. The reception staff handled it effortlessly and seated us right away, even with a packed house. I was there with my two elderly parents and my friend, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The vibe was lively, fun, and energetic - the kind of place that makes you smile without realizing it. I honestly can't even remember everything we ordered because I was in sensory overload - the views, the laughter, the atmosphere - it was all so good. I do remember the Malibu lobster sliders, buttery and tender, and the pistachio tiramisu, light, nutty, and heavenly. A perfect combination for a perfect day. Between the sunshine, the view, and the kind hospitality, Malibu Farm Tiburon turned a simple brunch into something unforgettable. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

Yelp
Stopped by here during flight week in Stuff I was going to stop in Sausalito, but decided to stop in Tiburon instead the ambience here is pretty chill. Could get loud depending who you're sitting next to The views and aesthetic of this restaurant are very lovely. That being said, the food was mid Nothing stood out at all and I was near starving before coming here so you would think everything would taste heaven sent. The service was very pleasant, nice and attentive. The only negative thing I have to say was the cup I was given of ice for my drink was very dirty. It had green residue maybe from like green smoothie my server took care of it and gave me a new Coke. Would I come here again only if the food tasted as great as the pictures maybe it was an off day I couldn't tell you.

Yelp
This place was amazing. I'm from Texas and I come to San Francisco pretty frequently to visit and went here today. We got sat outside and the view was just so beautiful. On top of that, the food was so good. We got the street corn salad, fig and pig pizza, nachos with hanger steak and the ahi poke cones. All were so good! I wish the cones were slightly bigger or offered more for the price it was. We had 4 people and thought the larger price was for 4 cones. Regardless it was still super good. The fig and pig pizza was not my particular choice since it had the jam on it but it wasn't bad. It was more of a super fresh and refreshing pizza. The nachos were the star of the show. I think us coming straight from a hike made us hungrier but the steak paired so well with the nachos and the chips were so fresh and crispy. Overall the place was beautiful and the food was amazing. This is a must try!

Yelp
Came back to Malibu Farm for a low key baby shower and had a wonderful time. I love how health focused and fresh everything is. I appreciate all the different options that I could choose from while partaking in a low carb diet. I ordered the chicken tacos from the lunch menu with no beans. I asked if I could have extra veggies instead and they politely said no, which was fine. The plate was beautiful and I appreciated the green salsa on the side and fresh crunchy coleslaw. The meat was chunks of dark meat though if you have a preference. I dont so it was good for me. The side of vegetables were perfectly cooked and a little crunchy as well, not mush and had a nice flavor. I also had a cold brew coffee and it was delicious and strong. The rest of my table also enjoyed their food, I dont think a scrap was left amongst us! The view is the best part, make sure you take a picture to remember your visit by. I cant get enough of how pretty the city looks from the back patio. Thanks Malibu, will be back again I'm sure.

Yelp
Well with the the wait. Me and the wife I've been trying to go here for the past year. Finally got to try this place this past weekend. The place is decorated very nicely and the views are very beautiful on a nice day. It took a while for us to get an outside table but worth the wait as well. Everyone was very friendly and courteous and helpful with the menu. So many different things to try but ended up getting the poki cone, scallops, artichoke pizza, and the shrimp tacos. Everything tasted delicious. We tried the mimosa flight which is a must try. We had such a great experience that we can't wait to come back with friends or family. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
Great views! Great food! A lovely setting at Malibu Farm in Tiburon! My friend and I enjoyed a sumptuous long lunch on a bright sunny day! We started with a "Burrata Salad," which was fresh and appetizing, but I forgot to take a photo of it! We shared that, and shared everything we ordered. The "Scallops" were succulent and perfectly cooked. That dish had some brussel sprouts and roasted potatoes which were also cooked to perfection! Then, we had a "Tomato Pizza," and we devoured it! To punctuate our awesome lunch, we opted for the "Elderberry Upside-Down Cake," and we surely ate every morsel! Our friendly server, Gerson, was pleasantly attentive!

Yelp
I went here with my family during Labor day weekend and the line was out the door. Everyone seemed to want to eat here! We called ahead of time and it was a 2 hour wait. Food: Fig and Pig Pizza (5/5): The flavours were really unique and blended well together. The prosciutto was delicious and salty, it meshed so well with the creamy burrata and sweeter fig sauce. Oven Roast chicken (3/5): The flavours and juiciness of the chicken were there. But, I like my roast chicken to have a crispy top and juicy. This roast chicken did not have crispy skin. The flavours were okay though. Caesar salad (3/5): This was just okay. Nothing new lol. Just a regular caesar. Blackberry cocktail (5/5): I prefer my alcohol on the stronger side and this was so good! They gave a whipped topped with 2 blackberries. So good! Strawberry cocktail (3/5): Nothing special, just a mint strawberry cocktail with some prosecco.

Yelp
If you dont have a reservation be prepared to be seated in the bar area downstairs which is where all the dogs are allowed even inside! (last time i had a big dog around me at the park dog hair blew all over my cup of ice cream yuck) the bussers are super busy all the time so its hard to get service for anything and they kept forgetting our requests for creamer a spoon butter or sour cream so we had to ask twice eventually got our server to get them who was also the bartender so she was super busy as well food was decent but lobster rolls were tiny sized I am sure upstairs you are paying for the view nevertheless if you make reservations upstairs inside I am sure it will be nice as the staff are super friendly and pleasant

Yelp
Made a reservation for Sunday brunch and it was quiet.... Everything was slow although there were many people working at that time. Although we were the only table at that time, but food took so long. Coffee was weak then.... After breakfast was served, our waiter was no where to be found. End of shift? Nah. They just opened...not possible. Finally a waitress stopped and asked if we needed anything else so we asked her for our bill.... Took a while before we got it then another 10-15 minutes for her to come back. Unfortunately the machine did not work so she had to take our credit card inside which took another 15 minutes.... Food was great, view was incredible but service turned me off.....

Yelp
We had been here abt a year ago and decided to come back now (Nov 2025). Do NOT come here for anything other than the view. Interior is nice, view is awesome, but the food is incredibly overpriced and service is non-existent. Our server didn't come to refill water our entire 2+ hrs we were there. The "beet" & burrata salad came quick but had very few beets. The entrees took 60+ mins to come out. The gnocchi was very dry and needed more sauce. The shrimp tacos were great, but the rice and beans were so bland. The dessert also took 25+ mins to come out. Pear upside down cake was incredible tho. And they're defrauding customers as the receipt showed they were charging more for a couple of items compared to advertised price in the menu. When we alerted them, the manger came but was pretty rude and unapologetic with zero customer resolution skills. She didn't seem to care that they may have overcharged hundreds of patrons. Overall poor restaurant management now as the place has gone downhill. I wouldn't come back again.

Yelp
The scallop dish was fantastic. I loved the carrots and everything. We sat out on the deck of course, and had the luxury of being outside by the boats, but also in the shade. And even if you aren't outside, the inside is very nice. Great service.

Yelp
Malibu farms is a bougie restaurant in Tiburon. The ambiance is definitely the best part- they have beautiful indoor seating and amazing outdoor seating with a view of the bay that you can't beat. Open space, modern decor and natural light adds up to a pleasant atmosphere. The food is fresh, local and has a beautiful presentation. There are options for every dietary preference and some of the food is really unique. The pistachio tiramisu for instance was easily one of the most delicious deserts that I've ever tasted. I ordered the quinoa oatmeal and it was so good. Malibu farms doesn't do any flavor half way. They capture the ingredient and present it to you boldly. The lemonade was strongly lemon. The kale and apple juice was pure kale essence. The pistachio tiramisu was pure pistachio. I loved the bold flavor profiles and their commitment to flavor. I was a little disappointed with just one aspect of the service. I came here with my friend to celebrate our birthdays and we noticed a lot of people getting deserts with candles in it and singing so we thought that this would be a complementary treat. Our server offered a desert menu so we thought we got to pick... he asked if we wanted a candle and we said yes but we found out they ended up charging us for the desert lol. He did bring us mimosas but we don't drink, so that was a little awkward. It was a nice gesture but I personally just wanted a nice free desert and a song!

Yana B.

Yelp
Nice setting, but the food was disappointing. I ordered avocado toast with a soft-boiled egg. The bread was huge, bland, and slightly soggy. The egg was hard-boiled and cold, probably straight from the refrigerator. The radish on top was dry. There was also a promise of marinated onion but it wasn't enough of it.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute ambiance and yummy food & drinks, but the service was odd. They had us wait 45 minutes for a table when there were clearly many open and then they were iffy about letting us move out of the direct sun to another open table. The food is good, but be prepared that the price per portion is high. I also found it odd that only some people were taken to the upstairs patio (we were taken to the back patio/bar area). Overall, the standout was the mango habanero cocktail. And make a reservation in advance!
google avatar

Kelley K.

Yelp
Service was fantastic! The food was really good & fresh! And you cannot beat their atmosphere! Sit out on the deck! Watch the boats & ferries. The water is amazing. All three of us enjoyed it all! I highly recommend their rolls, shrimp tacos & their Swiss chocolate ice cream! Yum! Their rolls were so very good. I could just have those & a scoop of ice cream. But, don't miss out on their fabulous healthy lunches! Looking forward to going back soon!

Yelp
Stopped by for a late lunch yesterday and everything here was so slow despite not being busy. The hostess, servers, and waitress are like robots going through the motions of work. We were informed by our waitress that they were out of grilled oysters after we ordered and she didn't offer us any alternatives or a menu. We asked for a menu and she returned 15 mins later and asked if we still wanted more food. The pizza arrived slightly cold and everything else was mediocre. This place is definitely all about the views and ambiance versus good food or service.
google avatar

Alicia L.

Yelp
We really enjoyed lunch here! The Kale Caesar was super fresh with a nice crunch, the Lobster Sliders were rich and perfectly cooked, and the Vegan "Scallop" Pizza (we swapped the vegan cheese for fontina, which was a great choice) was delicious! Portions were just right for sharing, service was friendly, and the patio views over the water were absolutely stunning!
google avatar

Julia P.

Yelp
This is my third time going to Malibu farm & it was delicious! The views and vibes are always amazing. The staff can be pretty slow so I feel like you have to call them over to ask for anything or even order. 1 star down because the prices are outrageous for how tiny the portions are. These are all supposed to be shared plates. The crab tacos were the best we had but so tiny!!! $32 for 3 tiny tiny tacos is crazy. If they made their portions bigger than it would be a 5 star for me
google avatar

Patricia R.

Yelp
You definitely need reservations. We went on a Saturday afternoon hoping to get on a waitlist but instead they put us on a reservation. We waited an hour which wasn't too bad given the long weekend. The vibes was definitely giving especially on a sunny afternoon. The star of the show was def the Fig n Pig pizza. We also liked the coconut ceviche because it was refreshing on a hot day. I can tell the ingredients were fresh. However, I would say this restaurant is more for the vibe rather than the food.
google avatar

Imee V.

Yelp
Malibu Farm is positioned adjacent from the Tiburon Ferry landing, and makes for a nice view on a sunny day. We've gone for brunch a few times, and the ceviche, greens, avocado toast and libations are just enough - and not over the top filling. Each time we have visited, there is always a disconnect or inconsistency with communication with the front desk, to the bar and outdoor seating. Elevated level of noise outdoors (friends had to wear noise cancelling earbuds) with constant bridal or birthday parties during lunch hour during the weekends, so if you're looking for a quiet spot - be sure to ask ahead of time to be seated away from large parties - or bring your earbuds.
google avatar

Jo A.

Yelp
I thought the food here was OK. It wasn't anything crazy, the best part was grabbing lunch with a view. Although we had a reservation, there was still a 20ish minute wait. We ordered the spicy chorizo pizza, street corn tortilla salad, green detox smoothie, and the house spritz. Everything was decent but did not stand out enough for me to feel the need to return. If I was being honest, I enjoyed the smoothie the most. The house spritz was super watered down. The pizza and salad was not memorable.
google avatar

Emily L.

Yelp
Malibu Farm is adorable. Super aesthetic interior with a gorgeous waterfront view. Upon entering I whispered to my friend that it looked like a high end furniture store- it's that beautiful. Hard to believe but food was just as good as the view. We split oysters, coconut ceviche, and steamed mussels. Oysters were so sweet and fresh- I loved the tart mignonette and Smokey cocktail sauce. Coconut ceviche was delightful- taro chips were perfect vehicle to shovel it into my mouth. Mussels were a surprise! It had a soy-sauce-y garlicky Asian flavor. I've never had nduja spice before, but I'm a big fan now! Service was friendly and helpful. There are two entrances. The front leads you to their bakery/ cafe. The restaurant entrance is on the side.
google avatar

Danae L.

Yelp
I made a reservation through OpenTable for a weekday lunch, but judging from the crowd, you could absolutely do a walk in. On a nice day, they seat majority of their customers on the outdoor area on the second floor by the water. Food was alright, but their house cocktails look pretty good.
google avatar

Stephanie H.

Yelp
Beautiful view, friendly and efficient staff. Food and drinks are top notch! We only had room to eat through apps and salads but are coming back to try the rest! Recommend the raw oysters, ahi ice cream cones, pork belly cups and the stone fruit and strawberry buratta salads! Butterscotch pudding for dessert was 10/10! Jalapeño cocktails were legit

Yelp
From the outside and location you will tend to believe this restaurant to be a 5 Star but unfortunately it just doesn't rise to this level. We were a party of 6 adults and the wait was normal. The staff was young and at times seemed unsure of themselves but eventually we got a table. Sad to say our waitress and serving staff wasn't much better. When our food orders were delivered, it was quickly dropped off. No staff asked if we needed any condiments or is everything okay ? So, we had to wait and eventually were able to flag down our waitress to bring us some ketchup and hot sauce. Food was good and serving size was okay. One of the party made a comment which he felt this place was just an upscale Panera's. But, to be fair what we ordered wasn't the top of their menu items. Another saving grace is the view of Angel Island and the Bay. Would I come back ? Honestly, I'm not sure. Most likely, I'll try the restaurant down the street and see how they compare. Till next time Tiburon !

Yelp
I went to Malibu Farm on a Saturday for lunch. The place was busy but we had made a reservation just in case. The place is located right by the water with indoor and outdoor settings. The food was delicious and the menu was clearly marked for dietary restrictions (GF, Vegetarian). We shared the GF waffle and I had a the Citrus and Burrata salad with a side of grilled chicken. For dessert the Butterscotch pudding was just the right amount to share and end the meal on a sweet note.

Afrin K.

Yelp
Really great ambiance in Tiburon. Took my family out here for lunch and even though we were a large party, the group accommodated for us to all sit outside. The views are great and the food is wonderful - of course expensive but at par with other areas. Ordered their strawberry salad and did not disappoint, as well as their nachos and the kiddos ordered their kids Mac n cheese. Would come again.

Yelp
Iyaka was so awesome. He was very attentive and made really good suggestions. We sat outside on the second floor. The views were beautiful. It was a chilly day so the overhead heaters kept us warm. They also offered us blankets. Love that! We enjoyed the mussels, artichoke pizza and oysters.

Yelp
Now this...this has been on my list for awhile. I have heard plenty of stories regarding Malibu Farm and how the view was incredible. I finally crossed this off my list for a Sunday girl brunch because we all know how important sharing a meal is with your girlie pop and today, our labubus joined us for the perfect brunch date. As girls you know that we have to order a bunch of things. We settled on the pancakes, oysters, poke and pizza. I would say that is a pretty good mix of items. Do I think the pancakes could have been a little sweeter? Yes. But still pretty good. Pizza, not too shabby. I do wish it was cooked a little bit more, as the middle did get a bit soggy. The service was not bad. They visited us maybe three times while we were there. I think that was a good amount, especially since 1) it was busy and 2) we only ever really needed our water refilled. Indoor and outdoor seating available. You really can't go wrong with what you choose because the view you get will be great. Location is great, parking is...a little tricky. If you can opt for the free street parking, more power to you. But if not, paid parking in the parking lot down the street. Highly recommend visiting especially if you want to step away from the busy city.

Yelp
What I love about Malibu Farm: - Their Glow smoothie is my absolute fave! I crave it quite often. It just seems small for the cost. - Their watermelon juice is pretty good too. - The cafe is clean, cozy, and often quiet, making it a relaxing place for me. - Their restaurant is also clean, and quiet indoors. The outdoor patio is busier, but it has pretty views. - I liked the restaurant's Greek Salad with watermelon. I got a small size, and it was good for someone with a not so big appetite. - The cafe workers are pretty nice, and service was fine at the restaurant. I've also had the brown butter cookie, yogurt parfait, and gelato at the cafe (the gelato they have on the restaurant's dessert menu). The gelato was good, but I've had better of the other two elsewhere. I would come back for the smoothie of course, and to try the salads at the cafe. I'd also like to come back and sit outside (it was busy on the day I went so I got an "indoor-outdoor" table). Overall, I really like Malibu Farm!

Yelp
Malibu Farm is a super cute restaurant and cafe located in downtown Tiburon. The food was solid, but the ambience and view definitely made the place! Food (3.5/5): I tried the glow smoothie (3.5/5); it was good but very coconut heavy. My friends tried a vanilla and a regular latte. Both lattes were solid (4/5). We decided to split three food items between the three of us and it was the perfect amount of food. We started with the fried egg sandwich with no bacon (5/5). The sandwich was great and we were happy they could make it vegetarian for us. The avocado pizza (4/5) was unique and pretty good. It was more of a flatbread because there wasn't much sauce and there was no cheese. I'd recommend if you are a fan of avocado. The Swedish pancakes were very disappointing (2/5). The portion was very small for the price. The pancakes were pretty hard and not flavourful. The berry syrup on top was also not very good. Ambience (5/5): The restaurant was beautiful! I'd definitely recommend sitting outside if it's a nice day. You get an amazing view of the water. Even the inside of the restaurant was very well lit and nicely decorated. Service (4/5): The workers were very nice and checked up on us regularly. Overall (4/5): I would definitely recommend coming here on a sunny day for brunch! I am planning revisit sometime and try some new things on the menu.

Yelp
3.5/5 This place is definitely more for the ambience than the food. The best thing were the oysters!! The pizza was ok and the lobster roll was good but not memorable. Just a side note - I came with a friend at 3:30pm. When we were taken to a table, we asked if we could sit at an empty table closer to the waterfront view. They said no because it's reserved for a party of 4. I get it but no one sat at the table the entire time we were there and every party that arrived sat inside. I understand it if it's busy but disappointing since it wasn't.

Yelp
IG brought me to try this place out so I took my little cousin and dog out to tiburon for the day. I think just expect to pay for the views, not for food. we asked to get sat by the waters. Generally the more expensive the menu, the more service I expect, and I don't think Malibu Farms really delivers on the service. When we first arrived, we had to wait a while to be greeted even though there were plenty workers walking past us. The service just really lacked the rest of the meal. We got the lobster Mac, the pork belly lettuce cup appetizer, and the beet salad. The salad was wayyy too overdressed and salty (and I eat on the salty side). The rice in the pork belly app was very nicely seasoned however and was appropriately portioned. The lobster was very disappointing, overcooked, and like 3 bites for over $50. We also got two teas b it honestly couldn't tell the difference.

Yelp
I rarely do any reviews especially negative ones. But here it goes. Our family had one of the most disappointing dining experiences at Malibu Farm Tiburon. We made a reservation for five and specifically requested a wheelchair-accessible, quieter outdoor table for our daughter with special needs. While we understood that outdoor seating couldn't be guaranteed, we were told a special note would be made. When we arrived, the hostess dismissed our request with a condescending remark: "everyone wants to sit outside." The tone and attitude made us feel as though we were asking for a luxury rather than an accommodation for our child. Instead of making any effort to support us, we were led to an indoor bench table that couldn't even fit an adaptive stroller. Only after pushing back were we given a proper table with chairs where we can replace the chair with an adaptive stroller. What made this worse was that half the outdoor balcony sat empty for the entire duration of our meal. If seating is truly first-come, first-served, why were we denied when there were clearly available tables? The message we received was that our family--and our daughter's needs--did not belong there. That is more than unprofessional; it borders on discriminatory. Accessibility and basic respect should never be treated as inconveniences. For a restaurant of this profile, this was both shocking and unacceptable.

Yelp
A very trendy upscale place with a gorgeous water view. The main part of the restaurant is on the second floor with a large deck out to the Bay with lots of nice outdoor seating. We came with friends who made the reservation, for brunch, and we were seated right when we arrived. Sitting out on the deck was ever so nice and the atmosphere is quite relaxed and comfortable. Service was excellent, professional and attentive. I ordered the Tuna Nicoise Salad. The portion was perfect and the tuna chunks absolutely perfectly seared and tender. The downside was the salad which was extremely salty. The greens, eggs and all were fresh and well prepared but it was so unfortunate that it tasted like a bag of salt was tossed on it. At first I wondered if the olives, sometimes soaked in brine, made the salty taste, but on closer attention it was much more than that. I had a lemonade to accompany it which was refreshing. Overall, a nice experience if they'd only watch the salt. Apologies for the lack of typical photos. I dislike taking them when out with friends, to not be overly annoying.

Yelp
Checked this place out for dinner with some work companions on a recent trip to the West coast. Ambience was superb even on a misty, foggy evening. Views of Malibu beach through the fog and the crashing waves...doesn't get much better. We secured a table on the pier and were treated to house blankets - a great touch - along with the warming torches. Dress for temps that are cold even if it's warm. Food was farm to table fresh. Crab cakes were delish and we all enjoyed the fish of the day entree. Server was sweet and attentive.

Yelp
Colorful food + gorgeous waterfront view = the perfect brunch spot for girl brunch or a date! Came with some girl friends for lunch, and we had a great time. We ordered one mimosa flight and asked for four glasses, and it was enough to share. The mimosa flight came with 5 different fruit juices, and was pretty starter drinks. We each ordered a dish, and shared a small bite. GF heart shaped waffles ($18) - it was a piece of heart shaped waffle topped with whipped cream and some berries. The pancake itself wasn't the fluffy and soft kind, probably due to the gluten free flour. Smoked salmon scramble ($24) - this was my favorite from all. The potatoes could be seasoned a little more, but the scrambled eggs was soft. Street corn tortilla salad ($27) - very colorful but a little pricey for salad. It came with a corn cob and grilled chicken breast. The vegetables were very fresh, the grilled corn was sweet, the tortilla chips added a nice crunchy texture. However, the chicken was dry. Squash and quinoa fritters - the squash puree was sweet which added a great flavor to the fritters; the fritters were on the dry and less flavorful side Overall, the food was okay; the presentation was definitely above the taste! But the waterfront view made the experience better. Definitely recommend to make a reservation if you are thinking of getting the outdoor/patio seating.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick break and ordered an oat milk latte and some gelato. The coffee was rich and smooth, and the oat milk added a nice, subtle grainy flavor that worked really well. For the gelato, I went with vanilla and coffee -- both were super creamy, perfectly sweet, and had a great milky flavor. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I was influenced by the influencers to give this place a try but maybe I just set my expectations a bit too high. The fare I would say is typical California flare, but not out of this world, especially for the prices. I ordered a watermelon juice, lobster sliders and a peach salad. We also shared the oysters. The raw oysters were excellent, fresh and cleaned well. Lobster sliders were really lacking on the lobster meat, like they were just sitting on top of the slider and not inside it. The grilled peach salad had the peaches sliced so thinly we questioned if they were peaches as you could definitely not taste them. We had hoped for a seat outside and per their website they do not take reservations for outside so it was a bit of a bummer when we walked up, saw a free table outside and were told there were no tables outside. The inside was very light filled and airy though. Service was excellent. Overall, we had a great day taking the ferry here and having a girls lunch, just wish the food had been more flavorful and abundant especially for $90 pp.

Yelp
5/5 for the interior decor and the views 3/5 food Came to celebrate a gfs birthday on Saturday for brunch. We started off the espresso martinis, Bloody Marys , and Green smoothies. Ordered most things on the menu and the highlight was probably the smoked salmon pizza. Unfortunately, the other pizzas tasted like cardboard. The breakfast sandwich was standard, nothing that stood out same with the mini pancakes. Service was good and tentative. All in all probably wouldn't come back for food just the drinks.

Yelp
Very pretty location. Finding the sit down restaurant was confusing. Service was inconsistent and unfriendly (we had to go to the wait staff table to ask for our bill). The food was mediocre at best. We ordered the crab tacos (they were tiny and served cold), the cod tacos (were good but lacked flavor), and the tomato pizza (was decent but nothing special). Food wasn't bad, it just wasn't great and for the price I expected better. I also came on my birthday and they didn't do anything to acknowledge I was spending my birthday with them. I wouldn't come back.

Yelp
I came for breakfast. Not your typical breakfast menu. Only impressive aspect of brunch is the mimosa flight. The lunch menu tho... I will come back just to try it. Looks fire. Even tho my breakfast wasn't great I've sent people here to try lunch and said it was great!
