Malibu Popoyo Surf Eco-Resort

Beautiful venue steps from the beach. The food was fresh and delicious and service was excellent. My loft style room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The central pool was perfect for relaxing after a day of surfing, riding and exploring. I would come back.

The perfect place to host an intimate retreat! The staff was exceptional, the food and rooms were impeccable. The beach bonfire dinner? Unforgettable!! They took great care of us in every way. I’ll be booking another retreat here as soon as possible!

What a singular experience! The grounds and the rooms are exquisite without an ounce pretention. The food is delicious and served with love by an incredibly attentive staff. The beach, surfing, massage and horseback riding were highlights that have me daydreaming of my next trip back to Malibu Popoyo🩵

This quaint Little surf Beach resort is just the week I needed to disconnect from the world and reconnect with my soul, my purpose and my ability to just be a human being. The staff is perfection. The food is so healthy and delicious the morning surf. Yoga and Thai Massage are absolutely unbelievable. I stayed in room number nine, which I told was recently redecorated so I highly recommend requesting this room. It also connects to room number eight if you’re coming with friends or family I will be back next year for sure.

Just spent a week at Malibu Popoyo in Nicaragua, and wow, what a place! My room was clean, super spacious, and the outdoor (but covered) shower? Obsessed. Nothing like rinsing off after a surf session while still feeling the breeze. The food was delish, the portions were huge, and the staff? Always smiling and making you feel right at home. The whole vibe here is just right – surf, yoga, chill. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to extend your trip indefinitely. Highly recommend this gem if you’re looking for a surf-yoga escape with all the good vibes. I’ll definitely be back!

Just got back from a week at Malibu Popoyo. Our group filled the place and we all had the time of our lives. The staff is charming and attentive. The surf guides, with their vast local knowledge, got us into the best surf available every day.

I absolutely adored my stay at Malibu and would 100% come back and stay. The location is perfect to get to both rancho and beginners. The food is 10/10, perhaps the best in the area so I do recommend to have the breakfast included. The staff went above and beyond and every day we were greeted with happy staff working. We even came back to eat once we moved hotels. 10/10 thanks for a great experience of Popoyo.

We came with a group of friends and had an amazing experience at Malibu Popoyo! The staff really made our stay perfect. World class surf guides, Jonny and Uri, took us to secluded breaks and we learned so much from them. The kitchen staff prepared so many delicious meals and beverages. Ayni led some beautiful, much needed pre- and post-surf yoga sessions. The rooms and facilities are gorgeous. They arranged everything for us so we could focus on surfing and relaxing. I can’t imagine a better scenario for a surf trip.
