Mall Galleries

Although a few weeks ago now, I wanted to share how much I enjoyed viewing all the amazing artworks at the Mall Galleries when the Pastel Society exhibition was on. It was my first-ever visit here and I spent some time looking at the stunning work but most of all, my breath was taken away by the exquisite piece by Kelvin Okafor. As a Pencil Artist myself I was struck by his superb craftsmanship and attention to detail. Photos of his work just doesn't do it justice, the depth of field alone is quite astonishing. A beautiful gallery and I'll definitely be visiting again.

Went to see the pastels exhibition which was excellent and inspirational. With very helpful staff. However the gallery is not geared up for those with a disability.thee adaptations made areonly paying lip service and seem to be a box ticking exercise. This starts at the entrance where a small area has a bridge/ramp not easy to ge t across.The disabled toilet is only partially Llysfaen adequate with a sort of hand rail one side of no use if you need to hands to use the toilet .The chairs at the cade area are not sturdy a d the benches dotted around although sturdy are too low.I t would better to say not suitable for those with. Limited mobility

The annual Society of Wildlife Artists exhibition is a real treat. This small gallery punches well above it's weight.

Gorgeous venue, highlighting great works of art. On 2 levels, with the entrance on the upper floor and gallery on the ground floor. The floor space exhibiting art, bathroom and a little cafe. If you are lucky enough you may have an opportunity to meet the artists who are warm and friendly. Clean and well presented. You will definitely enjoy your time here.

Love this gallery, it's the perfect size to lose yourself for a couple of hours. I was at the Society of Wildlife Artists annual exhibition, beautiful work by a wide variety of artists and media. Great location, staff are lovely, there's a small cafe and very reasonable entry fee of £5. My only gripe was the toilets not working, (male and female) which accounts for the 4 stars, but hopefully that was a one off. Will be back soon hopefully 🤩

A really engaging space as the artwork displayed regularly changes. There's a small accessible lift that goes down one level to the main gallery. I would say that ramp access beyond this to other rooms is short and steep though.

Had a work in the Discerning Eye exhibition and went to the opening evening.

Great little gallery, in a super convenient location along the Mall. I visited for the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition, and being able to see over 600 curated artworks for free - while stealing an hour or so of peace away from the crowds heading for the Palace - was a real highlight of my trip to London. The layout packs a lot in, but without being cramped. Well worth a visit!

I stumbled upon this tiny art gallery which was three rooms filled with amazing local art. Exhibits change and I was pleased with the selection and space. There is a small cafe and a few tables inside for a quiet chat or feel comfortable to walk around and admire the art. One of London's less known gems.

Regularly changing exhibitions of contemporary arr and photography. Try a coffee and cake...you can sit surrounded by the artworks. Lovely open floorspace. Some of Britain's top art societies exhibit here.
