Have you ever been to Mall of America? It’s the biggest mall in the US and has a theme park in the middle.

This choice is truly an experience and well worth a visit. Not only because of the extensive entertainment program in the amusement park, but also because of the large selection of excellent shops. What I found particularly positive was the wide range of restaurants. You can easily spend hours here.

Google
Great place! Fun and lots of stores and activities. The rides are fun and great for all ages. There's a lot of restaurants as well. I recommend spending all day here especially if you want to go on the rides!

Google
The place is huge!!! You can find pretty much almost every name brands in there. Nickelodeon theme park located right in the middle of the mall makes it easy to get to from any entrances around the mall and one giant positive score is parking is free just like at home in Houston 😂

Google
It’s a HUGE Mall that doubles as an amusement park! They’ve got stores from the high end on down so chances are whatever you’re looking for is going to be in one of these stores. If you’re not a fan of wondering around (like me) they have multiple coffee shops as well as dozens of great mall watching benches & seats. Let your spouse shop while you relax! One important tip … take a photo of your parking and entrance door, you’ll thank me later!

Mall of America is a massive destination with something for everyone! From endless shopping and great food to fun attractions like Nickelodeon Universe and Sea Life Aquarium, it’s more than just a mall, it’s an experience. Lots of walking, so you’ll def get your steps in. A must-visit if you’re in Minnesota!

Google
Wonderful mall with plenty stores and restaurants. You can easily reach the mall since plenty public transportations transit there. I really like going there using the blue line. Plenty toilets and tap water inside the mall. There are big aquarium where u can go with your family. The nickelodeon theme park is the best, you can bring your kids and relatives there. I also like going to the m&ms store, since you can buy colorful chocolate with different flavors. Would love to visit the mall again.

Google
Awesome mall a ton of things to do and see- whether you’re after some shopping, entertainment and activities, or just walking- this is a place you’ll want to go! I hadn’t been to MOA in years and they’ve stayed vibrant and made many improvements over the years: their parking vacancy indicator lights are very helpful in finding open parking spots; the mall itself has such a variety of stores and activities- from eating, to axe throwing, a full theme park, and much much more! For coffee I highly recommend the Capital One Cafe!

Google
We are staying at a hotel that faces this place and have had this mall on our bucket list for a few years. We had a free day today so we went and walked around the mall for hours. Whatever you need they probably Have it! A nice place to shop if you have time and energy. The theme park was really cool too!

Yelp
Visiting the largest mall in the entire universe :) never gets old! Came here on a very chilly Sunday in January and so did a few thousand other people. It has an amazing variety of stores and you literally can find anything. They have a great directory system and they have them everywhere to help guide you. Great variety of food as well from inexpensive fast food in the food court to very nice sit down restaurants. There is a movie theater and a massive indoor amusement park. After so many years, the mall is still thriving. Def recommend!

Yelp
The Mall of America is definitely overhyped. While it's large and has some unique features like an amusement park and an aquarium, there's nothing particularly special that you couldn't find at other malls. Most of the stores are the same ones you'd find back home, and there are a lot of repeat stores on each floor, which makes it feel a bit redundant. The top floor is mostly restaurants, but again, there's nothing extraordinary about them--you can find similar dining options elsewhere. I was really looking forward to seeing the infamous wedding chapel, only to find out it had closed, which was disappointing. One highlight is the free parking, which is well-organized and clearly labeled, making it easy to remember where you parked. We stopped here to kill time before our hotel check-in, and while we did manage to walk all the floors in about 1.5 hours, it wasn't the exciting experience we had hoped for. There also are gimmicks like a museum of illusion or wink world but both were $13 or more per person to enter which we skipped. Overall, it's an okay place to visit once, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Yelp
This review is a long time coming. A discussion I was having spurned a memory of this hellacious monstrosity and I was compelled to write a review. See, I hail from the land of malls... Southern California. Although I belong to a later generation than the original prototypes, my place in Valley Girl culture is indisputable and provides significant authority on the topic of malls. In short: there is no one more qualified to review a mall than an authentic Valley Girl. As such, I was overjoyed at the opportunity to visit a mall that promised to outclass all the malls in which I had spent my days. To describe my utter disappointment would prompt a Dickensian diatribe of epic proportions. For brevity's sake, I will boil it down to the most reductive of assessments: This place like, totally sucks. For those old enough to remember the excitement of getting DirectTV, this experience was the closest thing to a living, breathing DirectTV experience. See, DirectTV sounded amazing. Over 200 channels? I'll have more entertainment than I know what to do with. However, the reality is the bulk of those channels show weather patterns and fishing rods, and movies starring Valarie Bertinelli. This was the Mall of America. Sure, the typical anchor stores exist, but those only serve to lure one in to a false sense of shopping security. I entered through the Bloomingdale's, a typically upscale and upstanding store. Unfortunately, the Bloomingdale's in the Mall of America was so poorly cared for that it might as well have been an auxiliary JCPenny. I was left wondering if I was in an outlet, or had misread the sign on the outside. Into the bowels of the mall I ventured, shaking off my Bloomingdale's bewilderment, expecting to be dazzled by the bevy of boutiques at my disposal. Well, much like DirectTV, I was met by a monument to all things useless. A store that sells nothing but cereal... multiple, and I do mean MULTIPLE cheese curd stores. I've still never had a cheese curd, and out of protest, I never will. Perhaps the entire state is so distracted by the intestinal cramping brought on by the overconsumption of these gelatinous balls of milk that they're unaware of the depths of disappointment this mall has to offer. Store after store, level after level, there was nothing to spark any drive towards a shopping frenzy. As I walked through the labyrinth of letdown, dodging customers dressed as if they stepped out of a Clinton era Time Machine, despair took hold and I found a bench on which to plant myself and marinate in my sorrow. I wanted this to be great, I really did. I wanted a shopping experience that would dazzle my dreams for decades to come. I was left wanting, and in the capacious hole bored in my brain from this utter waste of building material, resentment filled the space. I began to resent the mall and the entire state of Minnesota for its complete catfishery that is this place. I was lured under false pretenses, and I was furious. Upon my return to the mall Mecca of Southern California, I went to the Topanga Mall to cleanse my spirit and restore my soul. With not a cheese curd in sight, all was well and right with the world. Unless you're a masochist with a disappointment kink (if that even exists) avoid this place at all costs. Come to Southern California, and myself or one of my Valley Girl ambassadors will gladly show you what a mall should be, and no one will attempt to shove any curdled dairy down your throat. Erewhon smoothie, anyone?

Yelp
The largest mall in the United States right here in Minnesota! With something to do for everyone - amusement park, shopping, food, aquarium, movie theater, and so much more! This is my favorite mall in the United States and I'm lucky to live so close. It's always clean, I see security on a regular, and parking is fairly easy. I'm never disappointed and there is always something to do for the entire family. It can get pricey but if you set a budget you can stick to it and still have fun.

Yelp
Great stop if you have 3+ hours of free time before you need to board a flight at MSP. It's a massive complex which is kid-friendly (especially the central atrium with the Nickelodeon ride). While I did not have time to explore the different nooks of the mall, it's a good place for a quick stop over for several reasons. First, it's about a 15 minute ride from MSP on the blue light rail line. Second, you can find DIY lockers (about $7-10 for a full day) readily available for storing backpacks or carry-ons near the light rail entrance to the mall. Third, the Starbucks and Barnes & Noble bookstore are within a 5 minute walk of the light rail entrance (if you are pressed for time). Generally, the service is friendly (in that Minnesota way) and maps are available in the mall if you're looking for a particular store. For parents with young kids (or if you're traveling when the weather is cold or crummy), the Mall of America is a great indoor walking zone where you can get your steps logged for the day.

Yelp
Date of visit: October 12, 2024 Despite visiting here several times over the last couple decades, I've rarely purchased anything. The last two visits I was pleased to see some new stores that I had not encountered before, adding a little more variety to the mix. Also nice is some of the other non-store options, such as the Blacklight Mini Golf. But there are still multiple outlets of the same retailer, selling pretty much the same thing they did in the other store of theirs one level down... The plentiful free parking is also nice, as most places would have sworn that off long ago and started charging for this "feature."

Yelp
The mall is massive and the name does the justice to it. It is a huge place to spend a whole day, whether one wants to shop, enjoy the rides, eat around and there is a whole level of food court. It is packed with all sorts of entertainment under one roof. It is a package for a day for locals; and two for visitors. Connected with public transport right next to it make it convenient for anyone. There is an annexed hotel and many just walking distance from it. Visiting for the first time or making a hattrick, it is fun place to be at.

Yelp
This mall has just about everything you could ever hope for in a mall! There's three levels and a million different shops, restaurants and activities for the entire family. A must visit when in the area.

Yelp
Welcome to the largest mall in the USA! Now that that is out of the way... let's talk shop here. Three stories tall, you are bound to find something to shop for. Be it clothes, electronics, souvenirs, or just the necessary food, you'll find something. Believe me. We walked the entire mall and easily this in itself is an exercise. 10,000+ steps, baby! Definitely go there if you're lacking exercise. As far as the shopping goes, what don't they have? They have restaurants, expensive stores like Louis Vuitton, and the typical day-to-day stores (Forever 21 and H&M, I'm looking at you). There are also many souvenir stores, so it really is a one-stop shop sort of place with the added caveat that there is a rollercoaster all throughout the mall. The mall honestly was a sight worthy of checking out! I only wished it had been my day and I had managed to shop for more than food and souvenirs. Every outfit I liked just did not fit the way I wanted it to, and well, I refuse to buy anything that requires a tailor. Alas, c'est la vie.

Yelp
I first visited the Mall the summer of 1996. I was a camp counselor at Camp Victory on Lake Minnetonka and we would visit the mall on weekends as instructors. There is a small theme park inside that looks legit. Plenty of high end shopping. Lots of eateries. The mall was spotless and smelled good. Plenty of tourists, business travelers and locals a like. Everything is so expensive thanks to current Administration or its a solid star visit.

Yelp
So let me preface this by saying I'm not really a "mall person"... there's nothing about just randomly wandering around and shopping that I generally enjoy. When I do go to a mall? I want to get in, get what I need, and get out. It's also worth noting that I'm not that far from Destiny USA, the Syracuse, NY-based mall that expanded to try and compete with Mall of America (and I'm there maybe once every 5 years, if that)... so basically, the size itself of the Mall of America doesn't really shock me. If anything, given the fact that this place is marketed mainly on its size, I was shocked that it wasn't actually bigger than it is. I will say that it's useful to have a metro stop that connects right into the mall (though I've learned that the Mall of America-stop is the last one on this particular line *and* that sometimes leads to shady things happening... car break-ins, etc... but I digress). And, if anything, I appreciated the variety available in the food court area on the 3rd floor of the Mall of America. I actually got to try the revolving sushi bar (Kura)... not that I'd normally recommend eating mall sushi (let alone in a landlocked state), but whatever... it's the Mall of America. I will say though that the amusement park-y area in the middle of the mall is kinda... depressing? Like, it looks tired... dated... dingy? Also, there don't really seem to be any stores that you can't find in other larger shopping centers or malls. I was hoping to find some unique experiences at the Mall of America, but none of the stores made me go "Oh! Yes, this is a little nugget that will give me an enjoyable shopping experience." When I originally told people that I was planning to visit Minneapolis, one of the first things they would ask me is if I was going to visit the Mall of America. It's a staple of Minnesota... I'm just not entirely sure WHY. The selection of stores is probably impressive if you're from a small town, I guess? But that's about it. Value? Sorry... things are generally more expensive here than necessary and you're not likely to find any deals. The mall feels like a tourist trap.

Yelp
This is very much an attraction rather than a simple mall. The parking is fairly easy for being as big as it is, but there were a couple areas that were under a green "spot available here" signal that weren't actually spots or weren't available. The mall offered a large and varied selection of stores. In the culinary section on the 3rd floor, which was like a food court, it was a bummer there weren't recycling options available. The festival of trees was a great event! Super fun to look at all the trees and the photo opportunities were nice. The bathrooms were pretty gross being used by so many people, we ended up going to the Barnes and Noble for their bathrooms. It was super duper busy even for a Monday, but it was also a busy time of the year to go. The biggest downfall, in my opinion, is the vast cost of everything. It all seemed so much more expensive just because it was in the Mall of America.

Yelp
Excellent place to visit with family, kids and friends. I'm just adding more pics and Yelp is requiring at least 85 characters for the update. Hopefully this meets the criteria.

Yelp
Mall of America has significantly improved and has parts that have been renovated after Covid. They offer more attractions for all ages and have put in a lot more higher end shops. They have more Minnesota souvenir shops as well for tourists. It's been restored to a really beautiful walking experience as well. Walking here is a real treat with 3 extensive floors where you can easily get in 9k+ steps if you walk the perimeters. They have activities for every age group as well. They offer several places to sit comfortably in between shopping escapades. The food court is massive and offers every type of food you can imagine! Prices aren't exorbitant and affordable for families. Nice "Getting there" Notable: If you are staying downtown, the Blue line train goes directly to the mall as it's the end of the line so you won't get off at the wrong stop. Trains run practically every 5-10 minutes all day long too! Train fare for an all day 24 hour pass is only $4.50 and can be used til midnight! Train tickets can be purchased at any train stop via cash or card. It's on the honor system and there is no train operator coming around checking.

Yelp
Mall of America was somehow both what I expected and not what I expected. There is an amusement park in the middle but other than that, it's just a really, really big mall. There are four floors and somehow three different Claire's locations?! There are a lot of store fronts I don't see in my local malls but the only interesting part is the amusement park. It's mostly geared towards kids but there were some things adults could enjoy. We thought the coolest part were the different rock climbing walls, they had interesting, diverse themes. Checked it off the list but I personally wouldn't go back if I were in town.

Yelp
Location: 5 Parking: 5 Variety of selections: 5 Cleanliness: 5 Security: 5 The Mall of America is huge and they've got every store that you can imagine! We visited this national attraction last weekend while we were visiting the Minneapolis area. I would highly recommend that you give yourself plenty of time, because the mall has 4 floors and hundreds of different stores. I've been here several times, it will take days to see this whole mall. Lots of attractions, food or a great place to get some exercise out of the cold. Check the schedule, they do have performances in the center of mall on certain days. It always a great time.
google avatar

Yelp
The Mall of America is an asset we're lucky to have in our state! The amusement park is very fun - quite expensive but a good time for kids at least once in a lifetime. There is a huge variety of food and stores available but most of them being American culture and style as is the theme of the mall. There are good deals to be had and most stores aren't marked up compared to the same brand being sold in the suburbs. Things aren't always the cleanest and there is occasional hijinks from whatever wanna-be is trying cause trouble but their security team seems to be well equipped and this certainly ain't a dangerous place (I've heard rumors lol). It's a good place to waste a day, definitely plenty to walk through to kill a whole day. Additionally there are many other attractions you can visit while there like mini golf, museums, art installations, the crayola experience, a movie theater, and more. They seem to be continually improving things and their parking ramps are free which is so appreciated. Additionally, the lots feature red or green lights that show which spots are available and total spots left counters on the entrance to each level.

Yelp
I was in town 2 weeks ago for the very first time, so visiting the largest mall in the country was definitely a must! Came here with family & was pleasantly surprised at how large the shopping center really was in person. It was beautiful. I thought it was going to be extremely packed, but surprisingly, it wasn't. There are multiple parking structures, so parking wasn't bad at all! Unfortunately, we were on a time crunch, so I didn't get the chance to explore the entire mall. I also thought it was very cool that there's an entire amusement park inside of a shopping center, lol. Can't wait to visit again in the near future to explore the rest of the mall!!

Yelp
Visited the Mall of America for a quick trip and had a mixed bag of experiences. We started off with a promising 70% off sale at Lucky Brand, though I didn't find anything for myself, my husband scored some deals. A downside for me was the motion sickness from the floor's slight shaking in some areas, which wasn't ideal. The lack of hooks in some bathrooms was inconvenient, especially for someone juggling purses and shopping bags. Also, the requirement to pay for shopping bags in some stores was a minor annoyance - definitely recommend bringing your own bag. On the brighter side, we really enjoyed FlyOver America, Cantina Laredo, and the Sea Life exhibit. These were highlights of our visit. The mall's directories were generally helpful, despite one giving us incorrect directions. The staff across the board were friendly and helpful, which was a plus. However, the number of kids around during the day made some parts of the visit, like Sea Life, less enjoyable due to noise and crowding. Overall, it was an okay experience. While there were parts we loved, I don't feel a need to go back.

Yelp
While in town for a conference, I grabbed an Uber and made my way over to see the largest mall in the US. Let me just say ... upon arrival I was immediately overwhelmed and it took me a few to figure out the layout. This mall has a lot of everything. There's an amusement park, theater, restaurant and fast food, plus there's even tons of shopping. Honestly it's A LOT!! I know I probably saw only 20% of all that was there. I did enjoy grabbing a snack and watching the kids ride the rides! Plus Macy's did not disappoint and I picked up a few cute finds. But yeah ... this is a once and done. Give me the traditional shopping mall.
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
You can spend days in this mall and still find something new to enjoy. It feels like they almost literally have it all. There's an amusement park in the middle featuring thrill rides and roller coasters. There's mirror mazes and a aquarium. There's three floors of shops. There's a basketball court and movie theater. Parking is free and endless, but do arrive early to beat the crowds.

Yelp
Wow! We were in the area for a girls trip so we had to make a stop at the mall of America. We visited on a weekday so there was no traffic or people to worry about. There is a huge parking garage that is nicely marked for each level. Walking around the mall you will find every store you can imagine. The center is focused on entertainment with rides and other activities. At the top level they have a whole section of restaurants. . We only spent a few hours here but you could easily spend a few days exploring everything the mall has to offer.

Yelp
Review from 7/2023 This is a must. It is a mall, though! But, lots of things to see and many stores in a single spot. You are either in shopping heaven or walking hell! My hubby said, I went once, I am good! This was my second time and we did not do any rides this time. But the first time, the fairly odd rollercoaster was great! M&M store was fun but there was not a lot of merchandise in it. I was kind of surprised. It was three stories tall, but just kind of sparse.
google avatar

Steven T.

Yelp
I'm not a big mall person but when you are so close to a huge mall that is a destination I was going for the experience. The place is huge with multi level parking structures and I was surprised to get parking at the front door. This place has everything including an amusement park and an aquarium along with ever store imaginable and lots of places to eat. They even have a toys r us, I don't know they still had a walk in store even open anymore.
google avatar

Eric L.

Yelp
I guess it was worth seeing. But it wasn't that great. Rollercoasters probably took up the most space and the store selection was pretty good. I guess there was a let down from the hype.
google avatar

Whitney M.

Yelp
If you don't like crowds, stay away. The crowds are not insufferable as they move and flow seamlessly but if a mass amount of people trigger you, this mall is far from dead. There's plenty to do here! Shop for food, clothing, unique items, get your steps in! You can do it here. Heads up! There is an up-charge for ride share services here but it's worth it. If I had room in my luggage I would have gotten much more to bring home with me. Educators, bring your ID with you there are museums and stores that have discounts. There's an alpaca store that won my affection ( Alpaca Connection). The atmosphere was smooth, no hostility for most part ( you'll find people who are irritated that you are breathing everywhere). Ignore those few and embrace those with true midwestern hospitality.

Yelp
Mall of America is a great place! A few months ago when we were in the Bloomington area, we stayed in the connected hotel "J.W. Marriott" which is a luxurious hotel and is very great. We did a few rides when we were at the Mall of America, one of the best being Fly Over America (Hawaii). Great/helpful staff and service. Going to the MOA is a very fun and pleasant experience, and everyone is there to help! In addition, while we were at Mall of America, we had a few foods from restaurants we have never tried before, and Shake Shack in the Mall of America is a great choice! The kids had fun as well. Definitely kid-friendly!

Yelp
So I'm not a fan of shopping at malls, I think I overdid it in my younger years so now I prefer online shopping Note to self always go to the mall during the week and not on weekends, went on a random Thursday evening during holiday season and it was actually pleasant to walk around not crowded and the stores had easy checkouts with average lines It's a very clean sterile looking mall with pretty Christmas decor and always something going on in the rotunda Lots of new places since I have been ,lots of treats as pick me ups when your feet get tired ,I especially enjoyed the Japanese style cream puffs at Beard Papas. Had some food at the Greek restaurant in the food court and that was just okay but really big portions As usual busy parking ramps but it's free so that counts!

Yelp
This is the place to shop till you drop in Minnesota! ... or simply just enjoy the attractions. We visited the Mall of America in MN. We had two hours till the mall closed. This mall is huge with lots of attractions and entertainment. Since it was our first time we just walked around. We just had a big dinner at Bacio's in Minnetonka so it was good to get our steps in. We were looking forward to riding the log ride but it was temporarily closed. Uff da! LoL! Bummer. We went to check out some souvenir shops. I purchased a few small items to add to my collection (MN sticker for my travel luggage, tees, and some knickknacks for my co-workers back in Cali). So I noticed some of the shirts with expressions printed on them. "You Betcha!," "Uff da," "Ope," and "Dontcha know?" I suppose there's a Midwestern accent that goes when saying the word. So I started saying the words to my MN co-workers and one responded and said "we don't talk like that" LoL! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I also forgot that Prince was from MN so there was a small section of souvenirs dedicated to Prince. Lots of food options here for fast casual, Food Court or full-service restaurants. Whaaah... they have a Bonchon, Kura Sushi, and a Margaritaville here? I went to two Starbucks location inside the mall and they did not have any MN State gift cards... shall I say it again? Uff da!! ¯\_('~')_/¯ It looks like we're going to have to return and, hopefully, that log ride will be open. For my boss (who isn't fond of roller coaster rides we're taking her to the Museum of Illusions) LoL \(**)/ Review #3117

Yelp
I like the mall of America I generally go here once a year but I'm always getting sick! The mall staff need to do a better job cleaning or the mall just needs to hire more cleaners. The rides are fun but there are long wait times and a lot of the employees didn't understand English.
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
I have not been to a mall in years - Amazon shopper here. However since I am in Minneapolis, I feel I have to visit Mall of America. The mall part is just like any other malls in the old days before most stores closed one by one. What is most different about MOA is the amusement park part that was super cool, and of course the giant Lego sculptures on top of the Lego store.

Yelp
If you missed shopping in a mall because they are always empty well this is the place to be. I enjoyed having a selection of stores and there wasn't many empty spaces which was nice as well. The amusement park was added bonus. Facilities were clean as well.

Yelp
Amazing Mall!! There is plenty of mall security so you feel safe! You get in a nice exercise walked around the mall. So many stores to shop at!

Yelp
I'm visiting from out of town but this was such a fun place to just wander and browse. I was expecting it to be more dirty and dingy but it was amazingly clean and bright. The glass roofs everywhere allowed a lot of natural sunlight. The entire location forms a circle with the center being the amusement park. I just walked a full circle, hopped down a level and then walked another circle. Floor 3-4 are mostly food options and 1-2 are the retail stores. It's amazing the selection and variety of stores. The options are definitely on the expensive end (lululemon, peloton, Canada goose, etc) but I was able to find some great deals with some thourough browsing. There were some great holiday deals. Not sure how the sales are on regular days. The amusement park has so many rides. Kids would love it here. They also have specialty kids stores like Legos, Barbie, crayola, etc that provide educational tours. If you do plan on buying a lot or bring kids along, I highly recommend bring a little wagon or rolling cart. You also don't need to bring a jacket in the winter because the parking garages are connected via indoor walkways directly to the mall and the entire mall is indoors and temperature controlled. The parking is also free and super easy to navigate!

Yelp
In a world where a lot of malls are becoming nonexistent, the Mall of America will not be on that list soon! We went for spring break and the kids loved it! My pockets loved it too since they have toddler Tuesday and it's only $15 a kid to ride all the toddler rides and adults don't need to pay to accompany them on the ride! It's an all year amusement park! It takes about 3 days to see the whole mall and it's definitely a one stop shop! Plus there's so taxes so shop til you drop!!

Yelp
Whoa, my first time at MOA was gigantically epic! I was only staying in Bloomington a day or so (when flying in/out of MSP) but spent around 4 hours on my first evening visit, 2-3 hours a Friday night, and 1 hour on my last day in town. Including the airport, that first day I logged over 19,000 steps walking! #ShoppingIsMyCardio Apparently, one lap around one level of the MOA is equivalent to 1.1 miles, I believe it! There are 4 levels of shopping, dining, and attractions. 500 stores, 50 restaurants, you name it. What was super helpful were the interactive touchscreen kiosks all around with the directory, where it would have a huge arrow onscreen and show you the route, and you could even send the route to your phone! There's also a standalone MOA app too, and free wifi. It's a cozy 70 degrees indoors too. Their top stores include Aeropostale, American Eagle, Athleta, Coach, Cotton On, Foot Locker, H&M, L.L. Bean, Lululemon, Macy's, Madewell, Pacsun, Zara, and Zumiez. P.S. Minnesota does not have a sales tax on clothing or shoes. I enjoyed M&M's World! Build-A-Bear and LEGO are fun too. A big Barnes & Noble bookstore as well. The central amusement park in the heart of the mall is Nickelodeon Universe (think, Ninja Turtles, Spongebob) with rides like roller coasters, log chute, Ferris Wheel, carousel, also a play area for little ones. They do have a parental escort policy too. Other attractions include FlyOver America (if you've done Soarin' Over California or Soarin' Over the World at Disneyland/Disneyworld, it sounds similar), Sea Life Aquarium, Indoor Miniature Golf, Escape games, arcade area/e-sports, Indoor Rock Climbing, bowling, Mirror maze, Illusions Museum, Tactical Urban Combat, etc. On the 4th floor, they have a movie theater and comedy club! One day I was here they had a pop-up Nintendo-themed Summer of Play Tour event in the main rotunda where you could take photos with characters from Animal Crossing, Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Pikmin. There were Switch games to play/demo, even a claw machine for plushies if you participated in 6 activities and earned stickers on your card. Eateries! I was pleasantly surprised to see diverse food options, such as Middle Eastern, La Michoacana Purepecha, Birria Tacos, Poke, Thai, Greek, Italian, Ramen, Kura Revolving Sushi, Bonchon, Benihana Teppanyaki/Hibachi, Boba/Bubble Tea, Beard Papa, Mochi Donuts, Korean Hot Dogs, and I think a dumpling place coming soon! Of course also good old Shake Shack, Hooters, Buffalo Wild Wings, Margaritaville, Lobster Rolls, Wahlburgers, Bubba Gump Shrimp, Rainforest Cafe, but also chains like Panda Express and Qdoba. For sweet teeth, Dunkin, Carlo's Bakery, macarons, cookies, ice cream, Dole whip, galore! Parking is free, and they had a neat system to help you remember where you parked and how to get back to that particular parking structure/level via text message.

Yelp
This was my first trip to the Mall of America. I really am not a big shopper so I didn't have high expectations for an exciting day but boy was I wrong. Lots of great signage to get in and out of the parking structures. Love the red and green lights showing parking availability. We got a close spot in The peach area near the entrance. Friendly reminder to always take a picture when you park JUST IN CASE you forgot where you are. This place was huge. I can see why people go here. There are rollercoasters inside this place, Ferris wheel, game shows, eye brow threading, and if you need directions there is a virtual map that helps you get around and they are everywhere. Elevators and stairs. Bathrooms on every floor. The third floor was a restaurant alley. We hit up Margaritaville for lunch and it was amazing. Time went by fast. Lots of store selections and the prices seemed the same at every mall. Got a great deal on a north face polo for my man $40.00 on sale from $80.00. Overall a nice stop if in the area especially if you have a family with little ones. They will definitely have a lot to keep them busy here.

Yelp
Loud, annoying, rude, busy... is just a few words that I can explain how much I hate the Mall of America. So much people. People are just everywhere you look, & turn. The wait time for ordering food is insane! The only fun part about going here was being able to take a selfie with SpongeBob SquarePants, outside the doors! Expensive, lots of selections to look at also..

Yelp
What an amazing experience! I believe everyone who can make the trip definitely should spend a couple of days.

Yelp
We visited Minnesota for the first time and we had to make our first stop: The Mall of America! The mall of America was founded in 1992, Mall of America is USAs largest mall at over 5.6 million square feet. Located just outside of Minneapolis, Mall of America draws 40 million visitors each year to its more than 520 shops and restaurants. The mall has a movie theater, theme park (yes that's right there's a whole theme park with roller coasters and rides inside the mall), and an aquarium (yeah that's right there's sharks and all kinds of sea animals to see in the mall), and a ton of restaurants, bars, stores, almost anything you could want is there. The mall is shaped in a square, which is a pro because if you reach the end it just wraps back around to the beginning. You can even cut through the middle I believe, so getting around the mall is relatively easy considering it's sheer size. They definitely planned out the architecture well. The wide variety of stores in this mall is crazy too, there was even a store that stood out because of how unique it was. It's a store where you could buy counterfeit designer clothes . Not even joking, it was actually kind of neat and the clothing wasn't cheap quality, they actually felt like decent clothes, they would make it look exactly the same as Gucci, Armani, Versace, you name it; and they change a letter in the logo slightly but the rest looks almost identical. Most malls don't have a single popcorn store this mall had 3, most malls have crappy restaurants, this one had a high end highly reviewed one. I reviewed the restaurants I ate at in the mail separately. One star was removed for their movie theater. Sorry but it was the crappiest movie theater I was disappointed, I wrote a review for it on its own but the mall needs to tell them to clean up their act. All in all, you guys can NOT come to Minnesota without coming to the mall of America.

Yelp
Have you ever been to a big mall before? For me the answer is definitely yes, but the Mall of America is just one of those "over the top" venues worth a visit. Here you will see a roller coaster in a amusement park. Have you ever seen that before in a mall? In the MoA there is shopping... plenty of shopping, rides, restaurants, games, and a movie theater. We were visiting from Long Island and while we were just walking around the stores, my friends went to the aquarium, and then took a ride on a roller coaster. There is a giant ferris wheel located next to an indoor mini golf course. Did I mention the giant food court and the many restaurants located throughout the center. No matter how far we walked, you got to the end made a left and kept going. We throughly enjoyed our time here and look forward to coming back one day. KUDOs to all who make the Mall of America the "Mall of America"

Yelp
This place is huge with a theme park in the center of the mall. This mall has four levels. This mall is connected to two major branded hotels in the country. There's also a theater inside the mall. What caught my eyes was the two story M&M story with a clear view elevator. The store is filled with colorful M&M candies that are color sorted!! I've never seen so much M&M in my life. There seems to be a lot of storms in the mall but not much of sales in the stores. I noticed there's quite a few non places in the mall, and most of them a busy with a line!

Yelp
At the East parking structure. There's lights above to show if parking is available or not. Parked at P1 East Maine on Aisle D. There's a rollercoaster, swing carousel, horse carousel, bumper cars and a Ferris wheel inside this mall for kids. One round takes about 20 minutes or so for a loop around. The ground floor appears to be more of the premium shops, scale and quality tends to down as you move up the floors. There's a large food court area on the 3rd floor. Level four is very small and is mostly for the B&B theaters and the Fair. It's definitely a huge mall and lots of shops, but overall it's nothing special. We bought one leather bag and some coffee and water after our trip here is all. I see how this is 5.6M square feet.

Yelp
I came to Minneapolis for a softball tournament. This place is a cool place to visit when you're in Minneapolis! It's huge! Lots of stores and restaurants to choose from! The main attraction is definitely the theme park inside the mall! Fun rides! You guys tickets and each rides cost different amount of tickets. Most rides cost 6 tickets which is about $10. Worth it? I'd say so since you probably won't have another reason to visit Minneapolis!

Yelp
I will never look at my local mall the same. This place is huge and you have to visit. It will take you a day or two to fully grasp how big this mall is and all the options. It also has a theme park inside! Roller coasters in ac? Sign me up! The mall was clean minus the food court bc of the constant in and out of people on a busy day. Something for everyone with all the interactive activities and restaurants here. And if your lucky if you stay at a hotel nearby they will shuttle you here! :)

Yelp
One cannot discuss Mall of America without marveling at its sheer size. Boasting over 5.6 million square feet of retail space, it is the biggest mall in the United States. The vastness is matched by the diversity of its offerings. From high-end luxury brands like LV to budget-friendly favorites like H& M Mall of America caters to shoppers of all tastes and budgets. I had a three day conference in one of the conference rooms in the mall and fortunately got a chance to explore the entirety of it . Apart from it's retail and food court the mall is also a full-fledged entertainment destination. Nickelodeon Universe, the indoor amusement park, The SEA LIFE Minnesota Aquarium , a go-kart track an escape room you name it and the mall has it . I was able to enjoy a few rides in between my meetings and can say that a couple of them really are scary . With so many dining options, the Mall caters to every palate. From casual eateries to upscale restaurants, the food offerings are as diverse . I was able to try a lot of stuff over the three days and was only limited by my mind because the options were numerous . The malls also hosts a variety of events, from fashion shows to celebrity appearances and we were able to catch one of the live events one evening .In conclusion , MOA is an expansive retail wonderland that offers an unparalleled shopping, dining, and entertainment experience.

Yelp
It's a pretty well known fact at this point that most malls just suck now. Many people would prefer to shop online, causing an abundance of empty spaces all over the place and nothing exciting to get you to actually browse through a store. However, Mall of America still holds up and is such a fun time for me. Of course, they have the advantage of housing all sorts of other attractions, including the amazing Nickelodeon Universe theme park, so it's already above and beyond any other mall. I wouldn't even think twice about visiting a mall while on vacation, but I couldn't visit Minneapolis without making a stop here. Aside from that, it's pretty impressive how nice and clean they keep this gigantic place. The parking is insanely large, yet still easy to park and not be too far from the entrance. I am truly jealous of locals who get to enjoy this place whenever they please, but I guess if it were me, I'd be poor in an instant!!
