The Best Way to Après Ski at Whistler Blackcomb

"Located at the back entrance of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler at the base of Blackcomb Mountain in Upper Village, this sprawling hotel lounge is treated as the town living room—guests kick off their ski boots and sink into fireside armchairs while local bands perform. A menu of hearty, locally sourced dishes like burgers and short rib poutine makes it easy to turn après into an early dinner, and the lounge highlights a signature Blackcomb Mountain Gin made with Pemberton Valley hops, cedar tips, and juniper berries (in collaboration with Montis) that stars in the citrusy Northern Soul cocktail." - Jen Murphy

Food is ok. I would say lower value than Cactus Club, but similar quality. Definitely not worth the spend. The setting is beautiful though and the staff is lovely. They sometimes have live music which is a nice bonus. I only recommend coming here if you’re staying at the hotel and you’re too lazy to go into the city.

We absolutely loved our time at The Mallard Lounge at Fairmont Chateau Whistler—it quickly became our go-to spot during our stay. The setting is beautiful, the service is warm and attentive, and the live music every night adds the perfect touch of atmosphere. The food was consistently outstanding. We especially loved the burger, truffle fries, oysters, charcuterie, and the wood-fired pizzas. Everything was so good, we ended up dining there four times during our week-long stay! A special shoutout to Freddie, one of the wonderful servers who made our visits even more enjoyable. She’s incredibly sweet, provided excellent service, and gave us some great local recommendations and insider tips. And the cocktails? Absolutely top-notch. The Signature Gin & Tonic wasn’t just the best G&T I’ve ever had—it might be one of the best cocktails I’ve had, period. Thank you to the entire Mallard Lounge team for making our time in Whistler so memorable. We can’t wait to return!

A gorgeous bar that gives you a warm, cosy feeling every time you walk past. With fireplaces, snowy views through the windows, and classic wooden décor, it’s the perfect place to unwind. If you’re feeling brave enough for the cold, there are fire pits outside to keep you warm. It’s almost always bustling with live music on some evenings, making it a great spot to relax after a day of skiing. The cocktails were excellent, and as always, the service was friendly and attentive. I’d skip the pizza though. We struggled to finish it. It wasn’t necessarily bad, as even a bad pizza is still pretty good, but I have no doubt there are more satisfying options on the menu. A pizza is only as good as its base, and this one had a crust that felt more like a ready-made version than a proper stone-baked Italian dough.

We came here for drinks and dessert to save our anniversary date night after a dissappointing dinner experience somewhere else. Our first server (she was training, didnt catch her name) gave us excellent recommendations, then Liz provided amazing service, was so kind and lovely to chat too. The vegan dessert was delicious and drinks and ambience were amazing! Thank you for helping us save our anniversary date night we love this place and had the best time ❤️

Google
A beautiful lounge seated in/ near the lobby of the fairmont hotel. We walked in and it was self seating so we sat right in front of the musician. The live music (5-7 + 8-11) is honestly amazing and adds to the ambience without being too loud or overwhelming :) Some ver nice covers too. Props to the musician!! The server was attentive but not overbearing. I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name but thank you for answering our questions and entertaining our indecisiveness when it came to deciding on a cocktail 🤭🤭

We had an amazing experience at the Mallard Lounge in Fairmont Chateau Whistler. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, enhanced by the fantastic live band playing in the background. We enjoyed complimentary drinks and decided to order some snacks and cocktails as well. Everything was delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the mountain vibes. Highly recommend!

Google
Truly an amazing restaurant, definitely one of my favourites in Whistler. The food is excellent: it's delicious, so flavourful, has that homey and warm taste and always cooked to perfection. It was so good that we had dinner there three nights in a row! One of my meals was the fish and chips. I was so impressed by how the crispiness of the batter did not drown out the taste of the fish. I also had to go for the Mallard Nachos; the lovely saltiness of the chips themselves meshed perfectly with the cheese (which was spread throughout the nachos [a nice touch]) and the toppings. Our hostess, Sarah, was so kind and truly had a genuine smile and attitude which made us feel comfortable and helped us enjoy our meal even further. There is also live country and jazz music which contributes to the ambiance of the restaurant. Overall, a splendid experience which I am certain to repeat during my next visit!

Google
You can find a better poutine at KFC. First, it came out doused in mayo. Then they tried to justify it by telling me the mayo is vegan. So what? Why do that to a Cdn favourite? 2nd try was bland with very little gravy and quite overcooked fries. Barely managed to touch it. Just ate the short rib pieces. Don’t get the brussel sprouts either. I think the chef mistook pepper for salt. Bland and way too spicy. Food here has gone downhill.

Yelp
Warm and cozy atmosphere, food 24/7. We were hungry during the in-between hours of lunch and dinner, and came here at the bar where they serve food and drinks we sat at the bar enjoying the live singing and great food. The buffalo wings were delicious, the oysters were fresh and the gin and tonic were made especially for the Fairmont locally. The local beet and apple Burrata salad were healthy and sweet. Great place to enjoy the afternoon and evening.

Yelp
This was the first place we ate at once we got into our room at the Fairmont hotel and it was really a perfect spot for lunch. The nachos were very good and the seafood soup was perfect for the cold weather. This place gets poppin at night too

Yelp
Taylor was an awesome bartender ~ great service and vibe! The burger was amazing, they have the most amazing mocktails (fav was the creamcicle) and non alcoholic wines!

Yelp
This is the lounge at the Fairmont Château Whistler. It's beautifully decorated inside and has a great outdoor patio. Every night there is live music from 5-7 and 8-11. We truly enjoyed sipping our cocktails and listening to the music. Their Old Fashioned is so good and even comes with a surprise presentation. The food was okay. Caesar salad was lacking flavor and the cauliflower was fried so much it was burnt. We still ate everything though! Service was fantastic. Friendly and fast.

Thomas A.

Yelp
Great drinks and great service! Fred, the bartender made some of the best drinks I have had, and his professionalism went above and beyond. The lounges aesthetic was warm, comfortable, but still very elevated. We will be back next year!

Olivia P.

Yelp
So disappointed!! We had a group of 6 and have been to the Fairmont Whistler before. We ordered Nachos & fries which took 45 minutes to arrive. They came completely cold and looked like they had been sitting out for a long time. Then we had a steak sandwich, fried chicken sandwich, and soups. All of it was absolutely awful. The soup was inedible and looked like day old food had been made into a stew, really gross! Wouldn't recommend and will never return. Spend your $400 on 3 entrees and an appetizer elsewhere.

Yelp
Some suggestions... - Egyptian lemonade. Non-alcoholic, refreshing - espresso martini (smoked in a box brought to the table), quite the show - Off menu blueberry tea cocktail. It's a warm drink. Something like-- "The blueberry tea combines amaretto, orange liqueur, and hot orange pekoe tea, making this warm drink taste reminiscent of blueberries.".... Great in the morning after a long night.

Yelp
Went here on a Friday for their happy hour/Friday specials. Ordered their bao dish, it comes with 3 and is very filling. I'd skip on their corn dogs because it's just pogo brand haha. Was still good with the sauce they made. They have good coconut shrimp as well. I don't like duck but they offered duck wings that my brother enjoyed. Drinks are a great price. They offered wine, lime margarita and beer for reasonable prices. The food dishes during this time were $9 from 5-7. Check out my pictures so see the menu! Great atmosphere, very busy and loud but with live music! Some folks were even dancing. I'd definitely go here again.

Yelp
What does it take to get 5 stars? Food, service, ambiance and drinks and this place has it all! So beautiful with lights, fire-pits, igloos and live music outside .... And get this ...FREE spiked hot chocolate bar. Yup you heard that right. Then mosey on inside, cozy up next to the fireplace, and enjoy more live music, incredible cocktails and surprisingly delicious food. Must get: the cast away old fashion (the presentation alone was worth it), duck wings and cioppino.

Yelp
The Mallard Lounge is a fun place to hang out after a day of skiing or hiking. A warm vibrancy immumlates there and i was surprised to see so many hip looking young people there. Great cocktails and the place was packed for Fairmont Fridays. This is the best time to get the most bang for your buck. We sampled the roasted cauliflower, coconut shrimp, pulled pork bao, and duck wings. The only thing that was disappointing was the cauliflower. Tiny portion and for 8 bucks not worth it. Also, not very flavourful. It was advertised as za'tar flavoured but there was a lack of that in the dish. Coconut shirmp were perfectly cooked and had sweetness in every bite. The yuzu aoli could have had more yuzu flavours to really pop it. Duck wings were flavourful and rich. The tender meat just fell off the bowl and the ginger/lime sauce was a nice addition. The acidity cut into the richness of the meat. However our favourite dish was the bao. Beautiful fluffy buns which encased pulled pork. So delicious. We finished off with coconut lime cake. It was good, but tasted a little commercial. Margeritas were on special and well made. We may have had a few. Great vibe. Great price (for Fridays anyway). Great food. And great drinks. Get there early though if you want a seat!

Yelp
Staying here in Whistler and found this quant lounge for a quick cocktail. The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is elegant, but casual. We didn't order any food, just drinks. The selection of wines & cocktails is lengthy and well presented. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Been here a couple times for drinks and lunch. But each time was sat at edge of the bar inside which is the doggie section! Ppl with dogs can only sit inside at the edge of the lounge. This time came without dog can sit outside. Weather was good. Quite lot of ppl on a Thursday. Ordered cider and beef sandwich with salad. Drinks food are good. Good choice at upper village.

Tom F.

Yelp
Short staffed slow service created a poor experience. After I took on a second job I was able to pay for my bill. My expectations were dashed by the entire experience. I remain disappointed.
google avatar

Dan S.

Yelp
Just a fantastic little high end lounge after skiing! Was staying at the hotel and the concierge recommended the fish n chips here as the best in town. That was a challenge I was willing to accept. Glad I did. Because the fish in the chips was really really good. Great batter. Generously portioned. Fresh fish. and a great dipping sauce too! The fries were very good as well. Add a local beer, friendly service, cozy seats, and live entertainment and this place hits it all. If you're around this area, this is the apres-ski lounge you are looking for. Just don't pay attention to the prices. Like the slopes at Whistler, they're a bit steep.

Yelp
Friends recommended this lounge for cocktails and it did not disappoint. Bianca is an excellent mixologist and created some wonderful drinks for us, one being off menu. Lovely!

Yelp
Always loved their nacho and truffle fried im glad somethings stayed on the menu However i do miss the prime rib sandwich that they used to have

Yelp
Sadly, our former "go to" lunch spot has gone downhill. It was never cheap, but if you accepted the price point, you were treated to impecabble service and didn't get nickeled and dimed from there on. Over my last 2 visits I had a manager tell me that their margins were too thin to get me an extra ramekin of Jus for a prime rib dip this summer (claiming it cost $2-3 to make each one - note they are smaller than every other place in town that serves a dip sandwich to begin with) and arguing with me over the charge (this is after about 10+ years of having servers gladly get me whatever small accompaniment I needed). I didn't have cheese or horseradish on it - the costs were a wash. Why create a bad customer service experience over it. I encouraged them to find a solution to the small Jus size. On college weekend/MLK 2020, I discovered they found a solution: the dip sandwich is now much smaller (maybe a credit card and a half for each side of the roll?). Considering this is the Fairmont lounge essentially, this is strikes me as an embarassing turn for how they treat customers in the lounge. I do still think they make fantastic drinks, but if you're going to actually argue with me over Jus when I just ordered two $20 drinks, there are plenty of other good bars and restaurants in Whistler I'd rather spend my money at.

Yelp
First time here with 4 other feiends and had lunch and our experienced was very good. The place was very spacious and very nice and staff and very friendly. Food is very expensive but totally worth it. Highly recommended to try.

Yelp
Such a fun vibe after a day on the slopes. If you can get Francis as your server you have scored. He is the best and makes some fun cocktail recommendations if you aren't sure what you want and are looking for a mixology experience. One of my all time favorite apres ski lounges in Whistler.

Yelp
The Mallard Lounge is the lobby lounge at Fairmont Chateau Whistler, which serves everything from oriental peking duck spring rolls to bar-style nachos! There's a huge selection of food and drinks available and the staff are extremely friendly so you'll meet all sorts of people (and dogs) here! My favourite dish was actually the Nachos Grande, which was loaded with tons of high-quality cheese, tomatos, onions and of course, salsa guacamole and sour cream on the side. Their truffle fries are excellent as well while their flatbreads were just good/average. My mojito was made very well but was quite expensive ($16). I would say that the majority of their mixed drinks and wines by the glass were in the $16-$19 range while they had a wide selection of fancier alcohols by the bottle such as Dom Perignon and Moet. If you want to relax in a comfortable and unpretentious lounge, The Mallard is right for you!
google avatar

Adam C.

Yelp
The Mallard Lounge is the Fairmont's elegant cocktail lounge and restaurant. I stopped by the luxury hotel and felt like having something fancy to eat. Despite the name and to my disappointment, I didn't find any duck on the menu. I ordered an old fashioned ($22, as it was made with top shelf whiskey), and it was strong and presented elegantly with some almonds and cashews. The menu was large, but after splurging for the cocktail, I went for the inexpensive beef stew ($26). It was served in a cast iron pot, and came with garlic focaccia. It was excellent, with carrots and onions that were perfectly caramelized but not over cooked. The bottom of the pot was lined with some starchy material - looked like mashed potatoes, but tasted like grits or maybe over cooked couscous. In any case, it was tasty and went nicely with the beef. Service is friendly and impeccable, and overall it was an elegant spot to splurge for lunch.

Yelp
Awesome cocktails. After skiing all morning I was absolutely parched. J and I sat down at the bar and I ordered a glass of water and an iced tea. After rehydrating, a drink on the menu piqued my interest and I decided to try. It was a White Cranberry and Pear "martini" (not something I really believe in, mind you). WOW, it was really good. So good in fact, that I had to try another. This time the bartender made a sort of mandarin jalapeño drink and it also, was better than I could have imagined it would be. Thank you Michael. I have attempted to duplicate this drink, to no avail....I will be back

Eugene L.

Yelp
How do you burn yam fries? Better yet, how are they allowed to be plated and served up? Well that's what we got. If you are looking for a classic beef dip, don't order the slow roasted prime rib dip sandwich. The chef is trying to put a spin on the classic by adding Monterey Jack cheese, onions and sandwiching it in a ciabatta bun. All misfires. Also the beef, I'm quite certain, is not prime rib, but rather well done roast beef, all well done grey, not prime rib pink. The ciabatta is too much bread and too dense, give me a plain old white bread bun with a nice light crust like a mini baguette. The cheese and onions don't belong in the sandwich. And the dip which is a third of the whole deal, was a saucy, salty dark concoction, not the clarified prime rib drippings. It was served up (after they forgot to include it with the plate) in a small sauce container which made it difficult, almost impossible, to dip the sandwich. All quite disappointing. Had it been the simple classic beef dip, it would have been good (Whistler) value with the good size bowl of soup that came with it (an optional choice which could have been fries or slaw). Too bad as the Mallard Lounge is a nice place with good live music (that's 2 of my 3 stars). Just be careful what you order and turn back anything that doesn't meet up with expectations.

Steven P.

Yelp
Food was bland and service very slow despite not a full house. My wife had the Cobb salad and we shared nachos. The nachos came out lukewarm with the cheese already almost hard. This despite the fact that they bragged about their nachos. Meh.
google avatar

Jeremy M.

Yelp
The nachos and wings are not good. The sangria and other drinks are awesome. The server did a great job!!! I would probably just stay away from the appetizers.

Whitney B.

Yelp
We decided to try out the food here. Big mistake. The fish and chips are oversized freezer fish sticks. The veggie curry is bland and tasteless. If you are having drinks and decide to eat, move to another location!

Sarika F.

Yelp
Awesome music and a lovely evening! Thanks to Colin Bullock, a very talented, versatile, and personable musician. The ambience at the Mallard can't be beat, and our server Andrew (W?) was excellent. Drinks are generally expensive ( mostly $20 plus for mixed drinks); beer is tolerably priced. Not sure why the $8 'craft beer' was rung in as $10, but we didn't ask. We enjoyed the trout cake appetizer and Andrew thoughtfully had our winter salad split for us. Only complaint about the salad was the 'added protein' which was the absolute driest chicken breast imaginable. Rest of the staff were fine although the loud cleaning up of the bar started well before 9:30 pm, when the music finished. Still a very pleasant evening and we would happily return. The music was a real bonus here.

Heather D.

Yelp
This is hard because we've eaten here many times. I love the ambiance and service. And some of the food is good. But the menu is limited and we've now had disappointing food more than once. I had the Cobb Salad tonight. It was advertised as having a bed of 'artisan greens'. It was literally a big bowl of iceberg lettuce. The chicken was good. However, it was covered in blue cheese (which I like but not this much) and crumbled egg (hard to eat) some tomatoes and avocado- which were fine, but most of it was just crappy iceberg. There were no other greens at all. It was boring, bland and expensive. Sadly, we've had this experience more than once here.
google avatar

Jedi R.

Yelp
The Mallard Duck lounge.when it was created was made as a hunters lounge full of remarkably painted elegant decoy ducks ...some genius decided to remove all the ducks but.still keep the name. Must be a borderline Genius to call it Mallard Duck lounge and then proceed to remove the central theme of the lounge in entirety. Replace it with items on sale at the shops. God damned it boys. Are you people running this place like Marriott? Fairmont should consider changing the name to silly goose bar.and have it filled with Fairmont executives. Now that is naming and.keeping the theme in par. The management needs to change.

Yelp
There's a story that comes with this. Read on if curious... The drinks are top notch - Corpse Reviver #2 is one of my favorites and they mix it very well here. We shared a very fine grilled cheese sandwich. Excellent wines and spirits to choose from. We were staying at the nearby Intrawest and were forced to evacuate because of a nonsensical fire alarm. It took the fire brigade more than an hour to clear the event so we wandered over here to pass the time. Fairmont bars attract a high-end crowd. The Mallard Bar welcomed several groups from Intrawest, served us promptly, enjoyed our pajama clad irony while the snow was falling. We reminisced that this was the second time we had an Intrawest fire alarm - the previous time was five years ago and the hour was nearer midnight - a more difficult crowd. Mrs. G lost one her favorite scarves here. The Fairmont phoned the Intrawest to let us know we could retrieve it. Kudos to the Fairmont!

Yelp
Cozy lobby bar great for lunch after skiing. Quiet cozy corners and couchy seating areas. Great service. We came back second day just for the amazing Cobb salad.
google avatar

Jim H.

Yelp
Great lounge in Whistler to escape the rif raf. High end drinks, we enjoyed Louis the 13th cognac, which is hard to find with the correct glasses. Our server even knew the story that went along with the cognac and how it is made. The tuna salad was fantastically prepared. Great place to go to find high end exclusive liquors.
google avatar

Linda T.

Yelp
Cozy and great place to slouch around and chit chat. They have live music which is awesome! Great guitarist and music. They have a pretty big selection of alcohol that will make anyone happy. Tried the Canadian coffee which is warm whiskey with bitters topped with maple whipped cream. Tasted like coffee with booze. It was warming and delicious. Got an order of chocolate fondue to share. Fun for any age... Strawberries, bananas, walnut cookies, banana bread etc In a warm milk chocolate fondue. Great view and service. Wish everyday was like a lazy lounge day here!
google avatar

Cassie D.

Yelp
The Mallard Lounge is a great place to unwind after a long day in Whistler. They have great food and drinks. Our server, Austin, was great! We had the Lobster Mac n Cheese and the Mountain Burger. The Lobster Mac n Cheese was fantastic. It is a tad pricey here though. They had really good live music playing while we were there.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
The waitress was just great but nachos ($50+ bill with 1 ice tea ea & tip) was just awful. burned nachos, no olives, no jalapeño, just burned chips, cheese & chicken. We left without eating. it's gone downhill Since we used to stay there annually.
google avatar

Tara T.

Yelp
Sure, the Mallard Lounge is a gorgeous bar located in the equally as gorgeous Fairmont Resort Whistler, but the prices are through the roof! I sat down to have a drink with my friend, and we promptly stood back up again and left. The cheapest drink was $15!! And there was nothing on the menu worth that price. The $15 drink was a pear cosmopolitan. Something I could make at home for about a buck! I'm sure this bar is great for people who have cash to burn, but that's not me and these types of prices make me angry (if you couldn't already tell). I have heard that the drinks here are very good, but I have better things to spend my hard earned cash on. Only come here if you're prepared to spend BIG on minimal booze.
google avatar

Skylar I.

Yelp
I paid $15 for a Rob Roy here and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Sumptuously decorated, the Mallard oozes sophistication. When my friend and I went we were the youngest people there by at least twenty years. I great break from the usual Whistler scene. The Rob Roy Perfects we had are the standard I hold all subsequent Rob Roys to. After talking with the bartender, we learned that he and most of the people who work there have lived in Whistler for over five years and have bar tended much longer. This is not for the budget traveler - but that should be evident from its location inside the Chateau Fairmont - but for those who have money to throw around, I can think of no better place to throw it.
google avatar

Mrs H.

Yelp
Yes it's pricey but hey. It's Whistler. It's a nice lounge to relax in before dinner or just to relax. Their mojitos are delicious. I could have drank them all night. The food itself wasn't the best I had. We got the antipasto platter and it was so-so. Nachos for the kids was huge but they devoured it no problem. At night they have a live band. It was nice to chill there
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
The food and service is as you would expect at a Fairmont... our group enjoyed really good salads, a goulash and a particularly good veggie dahl (seriously good in fact!). We weren't too worried about the live music when it started, but it just got louder and louder until we had to move seats because we couldn't hear each other over it... I'd say if you are going for drinks/live music, then it's a good choice, but don't expect to have dinner there and be able to talk to anyone in your party.... if anyone from Fairmont management is reading this then... please just turn it down a notch for diners... or make it a bar only!

Yelp
I stayed in the Fairmont Chateau Whistler a few months ago with my husband, and I decided to have a glass of wine while he was in a work meeting. The Mallard Lounge is really comfy inside, with plenty of couches and chairs to relax in. There's also a fantastic patio with lots of tables. The wait staff are pretty friendly, and there are plenty of wines, beers, and cocktails in their drink menu. You can also order food here, but I didn't take a look at the food menu. Unfortunately, everything is really expensive. The cheapest glass of wine I could find was $12, and the beers are at least $10. That's to be expected for a Fairmont, but I was hoping that the wine and beer quality would be a bit higher given the price point. I would recommend The Mallard Lounge for a cocktail or two since it is a really nice lounge, but it's too expensive to spend the whole night drinking in the bar.
google avatar

Garry C.

Yelp
It's an upscale lounge in a nice hotel. I can't call it good value, but it does have a nice atmosphere. I come here maybe three times a year and I never have more than one drink per visit. That's about all I can afford! The cheapest glass of wine is $16, beer is $9 and bottled water is $6. The prices ward off the riff-raff, so if you want to get away from the kids - this is the place to be! There is also a nice outdoor fireplace - a good change from the propane heated patios.

Yelp
What a gorgeous room! I recently played a show in Whistler and was booked for a night at the gorgeous Fairmont Chateau Whistler. I had dinner at The Mallard Lounge and it was mindblowing. I ordered a Panzanella Salad ( summer tomatoes, Foccacia croutons, Boccocini, cucumber, basil and sherry vinaigrette) and it was absolutely PHENOMENAL. Massive serving, but at $17 it should be. I ordered my main meal from the other hotel restaurant The Wildflower and that was the true delight of the evening. Prime Rib with Oyster Mushrooms, Roast Potatoes and perfectly cooked Green Beans. PERFECT. I also ordered a Cranberry Cucumber Mojito which was delicious and refreshing. Great flavours, lovely presentation! My friend ordered 3 cocktails from our superstar bartender Xavier, and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. On the pricey side, but worth it if you want a night of relaxing vibes and class.
google avatar

Jay C.

Yelp
This was my first stop upon arriving at my over-hyped accommodations at the Chateau Fairmont. I needed a place from which to pre-ski telecommute, so this fireside lounge seemed appropriate for a Friday afternoon. I ordered a really pricey mushroom soup for $11 CAD (Higher than USD, at the time). It was more like a mushroom purée than the usually texturally complex version that I'm used to. I didn't bother ordering a drink as I knew that would cost me a pretty penny. If it were cheaper, I may have drunk on the job... This is the perfect fireside lounge for those who would like to curl up with a snifter of top shelf brandies or a nice single malt in the upscale staid après-ski fashion. I'm probably 20 years too young for that.

Yelp
It was a summer weekend and we sat on the patio at the Mallard Lounge, enjoying the rarity of a warm September evening in the mountains while watching guests' children play tag on the lawn (a grassy LAWN? What a luxury at a hotel property!) and sipping some amazing cocktails. Admittedly, we are normally beer and wine people, with the occasional Caesar or Mojito thrown in when we're feeling fancy, so are not the best judges of what makes a cool cocktail, but we were blown away by the interesting adult bevies on offer. We tried the signature gin & tonic and the Moscow Mules (voddy, ginger puree, lime and soda)...that last one was a repeat! The drinks are small, yet bear Manhattan prices ($15 and up!) making it easy to "enjoy responsibly".

Yelp
Ordered the charcuterie plate. It was very good and plated beautifully. The margarita I ordered wasn't the worst, and yet not the best - just okay. My sweetheart ordered the Whistler Brewing Whiskey Jack beer and found it to be very good. The wait staff was pleasant and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. We will be back!

Yelp
Fun ambiance and good service, but bar is overrated. Ordered a martini and was charged an additional $3.25 for blue cheese olives with no warning that there would be an additional expense for it. That's a first for being up charged for olives in a martini, especially considering they were straight from the jar and that the martini is already $21. Pretty disappointing after hearing so many nice things about this place.
