"Super Bowl Sunday is a big production at Mallie’s. The restaurant features plenty of flatscreen TVs for premier football viewing and is currently accepting reservations. Very limited seating goes for $50. Admission includes unlimited drink and food access to a pizza bar, sloppy joes, hot dogs, a nacho and taco bar, an appetizer bar, a burger bar, sub sandwiches, and barbecued pulled pork." - Brenna Houck, Serena Maria Daniels

"Guests to Mallie’s Sports Grill & Bar in Southgate, Michigan will stare in awe as a gargantuan, Goliath-sized burger is hauled atop a cart and then lifted by three people to a table of hungry (and bewildered) eaters. This massive meaty creation, aptly named the “Absolutely Ridiculous Burger,” holds the Guinness record for the world’s largest commercially sold hamburger, and it can be all yours for just $399. The typical Absolutely Ridiculous Burger weighs in at 150 pounds, with the official record-setter massing in at an even more whopping 338.6 pounds, double the weight of an average-sized human. The burger is so big that it takes 22 hours to make, three people to flip it over, and 100 pounds of excess grease to perfect. It’s so colossal that on an episode of Man Vs. Food, a team of 41 people couldn’t conquer the thing in a whole two hours of time. The Absolutely Ridiculous Burger is complete with 15 pounds of lettuce, 30 pounds of bacon, 30 pounds of tomatoes, and 36 pounds of cheese. Know Before You Go You must call 72 hours in advance to order your Absolutely Ridiculous Burger. Bring paramedics." - lewblank, Reistarr

This place is very cool and the food was amazing! I sat at a booth and it was the most comfortable seating I have ever sat at. The service is fast and Alissa is very attentive and does a great job! Recommend this place to everyone that gets within 50 miles, worth the drive. Thanks for all that you do! I almost forgot they have KENO and Tips!!!!!

EXCELLENT FOOD. MUSIC BINGO WAS SO MUCH FUN! Our server LaKaiya was the absolute worst. The food here was wonderful. The fried pickles were fabulous! The Pizza is the best!’ We really enjoyed our selections! Our server was inattentive, nonresponsive to our minor asks for a knife or small plates for our appetizers! The beer selection was abysmal. Let’s see…. it’s April 06 and they still have lines with Green beer! We were excited to come here to eat and play music bingo but our server made our date night unpleasant ! I’d asked for a glass of ice 2-3 times before she remembered to bring it. I KNOW it’s a Saturday night but smile act interested. Disappointing service.

Great food, and even though they were very busy, service was very good. I had to challenge the Bartender with a top shelf Long Island. Very good. Looking forward to maybe doing the 10lb burger challenge next time.

Walk-in: Stood there while people that worked there looked at us and kept walking. No Acknowledgment whatsoever. HA! Someone finally comes along and seats us. When we sit down it take a moment for our food assistant to arrive but when she does we place our orders and wait. She come out and tells us that the first thing that King Lemonade ordered was unavailable. So when he found something else we waited. But my food came out before his 🙃. I thought she might have waited to get his order and place our meals together but... WHATEVER. The coleslaw wasn't good at all, but the burger was good minus the wilted lettuce. The Mexican pizza was good. Overall: Won't drive back out here for this service. They weren't very friendly. (But if you come out maybe the service will be better for you.) - @according2teau 👽 🦄

We had a busy day on Friday before Easter. We specifically stopped at Mallie's for the fish dinner! The portions are big and the price is great! Service was great, and the owner stopped by to check on us. He wanted to make sure our experience was great! We have been here countless time and will continue to support and spread the word.

Everything was awesome as far as food and atmosphere. Prices are good and totally worth it. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because our waitress was just not into it. The manager did more waiting on us than our waitress. I could understand if it was busy and she had a lot of tables, but we didn’t even see her out on the floor most of the time. She only came to our table two or three times for the almost two hours that we were there. At one point my wife actually had to walk into the kitchen and find her when we needed something. We’ll definitely be going back but hopefully next time we get a better waitress…

Food was good and service was great. Atmosphere is cool, the have lots of food to choose from and a full bar. Theres basketball and pool in front. Only thing id say is the bathroom, while clean had an interesting duct tape closure….still will come back.

Came across this place by chance and was very very pleased with all aspects. The place was busy from Thursday night football but not too loud or wild. Very enjoyable atmosphere and the wait staff were very friendly!!! Wanted to try soooo much food items and narrowed it down to.a burger and a PICKLE PIZZA! BOTH were very good choices and the pickle pizza was by far my favorite. Very difficult to describe but way exceeded my expectations. When you visit it is a must have. The staff really were the icing on the cake.....Ashley was my server and a pure heartwarming delight. If you arrive in Detroit this place is a definite must have and for sure try the pickle pizza you will be pleasantly surprised.
