Mallory Square is the heart of Key West’s vibrant culture and the absolute best spot to watch a stunning sunset. The square comes alive every evening with the Sunset Celebration, featuring an array of talented street performers, from fire jugglers to musicians, creating an energetic and entertaining atmosphere. You’ll also find unique local vendors offering a variety of souvenirs, crafts, and snacks, making it a perfect place to pick up a memento of your visit.

This is a very lively place to be, in Key West. If you want to capture pictures of the sunset, be there about an hour earlier than sunset time, and get yourself a spot where no one else will be obstructing you, because it gets quite crowded for the view. Most of the people disperse soon after the sunset. Take in the vibe and the view, watch the street artists/performers, explore the markets, pick up souvenirs, or just stare at the vastness of the ocean!

There's always something to see here. The biggest crowds are at sunset, when folks gather to watch the sailboats cruising by and enjoy the many street oerformers. There's a cruise ship docked most days, and you can get a close-up view of them.

It is a great place to explore in Key West in the afternoon to catch the legendary sunsets 🌇. There are vendors linked up along the boardwalk, and sometimes, there are great street performers to watch here too.

It's something to experience, but it's a mad house. Tons of people waiting for sun set. Tons of displays and acts and peddlers. Nothing wrong in any of that, but a bit too touristy for me. It can be hard to get a good shot of the sunset

The sunset celebration is beautiful each evening. Right now is spring break so it’s crazier than usual.

Get their early and share the sunset with LOTS of people. It’s worth it. You can have a drink at the Sunset Pier or walk down further for a better shot. People tend to leave right as the sun sets but some of the best picture are after that. Worth the wait. The overall shopping is good too at the nearby shops. Wander through and enjoy yourself. You’re on vacation after all, aren’t you? It’s worth noting if a cruise ship is in town as it will be more crowded then.

Went for a walk from Duval street to Mallory Square. Enjoyed all the vibrant vibes with lots of restaurants and bar. Old house museum. The sunset pier was a great place to watch the sea and sunset. Sat on the benches to watch the sea and loo at fishes jumping out of water and seagulls flying overhead. It was a peaceful place to take a break.
