Nothing else to tell then just beautiful, peaceful and so neat. People are friendly and happy to help. The environment is clean, green and well kept. We are going back for a holiday for a longer stay to explore the island :)

Love Malta island, the locals are amazing. They do drive like crazy monkeys mind you and there are always horns beeping somewhere. Lots of one-way streets in the big towns which can be confusing if you drive, however as they drive on the same side of the road as Brits it's fairly straightforward. There is a lot of construction work going on at the moment and Health & safety seems to be non-existent. It can also be a bit smelly too at times as they often leave rubbish bags out on the side of the road and it gets hot! Saying that tho' most parts of the island are stunning. There is always something to do, eat, or go see. If you like fine art go. If you like rich history go. If you like culture, good eating, and friendly locals go. My children now want to live there when they grow up and are already planning what jobs they are going to do! (And tbh ... so do I) You do need to be fairly fit depending on what part of the island you are visiting as there can be lots of steps and a few steep hills along the way, and not all places are very accessible by wheel chair. There does however, seem to be a new adventure hiding behind every unassuming door. I can't wait to get back to discover more. This is a place that has really touched my heart and my family.

We spent 5 wonderfull days in Malta. Visiting the island with two kids and a grandma, have no time enough to see all we could, but we enjoy every minute. The weather was warm and nice. The only thing that was a nightmare for me was the trafic.

The locals are very friendly, honest and relaxed, island lifestyle. . The island itself is packed with a lot of historical places, from Valletta, three cities, Medina and Hagar Qim, thousands of years of history. The towns and cities have festivals all the time, celebrating their churches in every town and is like a competition between the locals. The island boasts some 350 something churches. Then you have the waterside areas, and very busy, St. Julians, Spinola Bay, Sliema, Buggibah and the fishing village of Marssaslokk. The water is crystal clear and beautifully refreshing, and you can swim everywhere, especially near the Blue Grotto, just an awesome place, love it!!!

A treasure in the middle of the Mediterranean, filled with history like no other. It starts with Neolithic remains that are of the oldest in the world like Ġgantija which dates back to 3600 BC to second world war artefacts. And what about the weather and beaches in summer? Just awesome.

This is the place where I was born, the place that gives me pleasure day after day. It is located in the centre of the Mediterranean and it is reachable by place or by sea (ships, cruise liners, catamarans etc). Although it is just a tiny dot on the map, the place that you can visit are more than you can imagine. This is because Malta is full of history and culture. We have temples which are older than the pyramids, and Valletta which is the capital city has been named as the European Capital of Culture for 2018. I am not going to give more information...as I will leave it to you to visit this gem.
