visited ystad for a day trip and maltes mackor stood out based on its high reviews. it's a sandwich stop in the middle of the town with a small amount of outdoor seating--most customers get takeout. service was friendly and the employee kindly explained the menu and recommendations. // bengali bbq sandwich (98sek) // we decided to try the best seller, bengali bbq sandwich. people raved about it so i got my hopes up, but i was underwhelmed. the sandwich is a decent size, maybe on the smaller size. it has a drizzle of bbq sauce and bengali (sambal) in the mayo and was advertised as a bit of spice. however, it was not spicy at all and i felt like the bbq and bengali flavors were too subtle and struggled to shine through. the rest of the sandwich was good, but it tasted like a pretty average sandwich.

You must pay this place a visit if you're in Ystad! The personnel were really friendly and nice and the sub was one of the best subs I've ever had! Fluffy bread super fresh ingredients! Highly recommended!

Maltes Mackor serves fantastic sandwiches! I ordered one with roast beef and some other great stuff (their best selling sandwich) and was really satisfied with my meal.

Nothing special. Mostly tourists. I guess exciting for tourists since its Swedish flavours. Big subs. Fresh. 98kr Sept 9 2023.

Fantastic sandwiches they have! We had roast beef sandwiches with and without avocado salsa, both are totally different genre of tastiness! Portions are generous. Good outdoor seating where you can enjoy the street view. Will definitely come back again!
