I ordered food off of Uber eats I ordered a egusi With assorted meat and spinach with assorted meat also a side of beef tribe the meat and all three were the worse. The meat you couldn’t even bite into it was so hard. I was so disappointed and threw the food away. I will never order from you guys again.

Been in the USA for about 10 years and have eaten Nigerian food from California, Florida, New Jersey, New York, and Georgia. Consistently had Nigerian food in NJ and NY. This is by far the worst Nigerian food we’ve ever had. After spending more than $120 on Egusi soup, Ogbono soup, and other sides, the Ogbono tasted so bland you’d ask is this chef even a Nigerian? Surely not! The egusi soup, if you can even call it egusi soup was just a bunch of greens and a little egusi filled with so much palm oil you’ll ask “is this palm oil soup”? On top of all that, only 2/6 meat were barely edible, one Kpomo and one goat meat, the rest was straight garbage that were so hard and chewy a dog wouldn’t even be able to chew through. Went straight into the garbage bin. I’ve tried mama g multiple times in NY (before two years ago) and didn’t have this problem but there’s no way I will even order from the New York, who knows if that location is just as bad as this now. Not even upset anymore just very disappointed that we waited one and half hours for this food

Honestly I had no personal business here. I simply was picking up an order for a friend. As soon as I walked inside, the smell hit me and it was not pleasant. I’m not sure if it was the meat in the freezer directly to the left when you enter or simply uncleanliness but that odor alone will ensure I never return.

Went in there to ask questions about the food I saw and got handed with a terrible attitude by an African lady. She told me don’t worry about what kind of meat it is despite me trying to acquire to purchase.I also was told to sit down and I wanted to stand but kept raising her voice for me to sit down.She was very rude to all the African Americans in the establishment but wasn’t to the non African Americans In addition, I notice after digging in her nose she did not wash her hands. Mentioned it to her and she told me her hands was washed after me watching her not wash her hands. Did not deserve the attitude and will bring my money else where. Thank you 🙃

This is the worst egusi soup l have ever had , the food had a smell to it like it was under done the meat was tough i could not even take a bite also too much oil no salt the food was just a mess . Not good at all dont buy at the restaurant You will be wasting your money.am sleeping hungry 😭😭😭the smell is just too much

Mama Africa Food LLC serves truly delicious meals! The food is flavorful, authentic, and always satisfying. I highly recommend it — I honestly wouldn’t mind going back for more. If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor and check them out. Mama Africa Food LLC is simply the best
