This Orange County Filipino Restaurant Fought Flames to Save the Family Empire | Eater LA

"He sharpened both culinary and managerial skills at Mama Cozza’s, a trattoria in Anaheim owned by his high school football coach that has been featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives; there the coach cross-trained him in kitchen work and the administrative sides of running a restaurant." - Anne Marie Panoringan

I love their server I went there for both my birthday and my coworkers hangout. The place seems homey, I love the vibe! I definitely will bring more people! I dont really like tomato sauces at all but this restaurant for their deep fried cheese Ravioli with their tomato dip works wonders. The only restaurant I will actually eat the tomato sauces ❤️

Our recent visit proved to be an exceptional experience. Initially rerouted due to traffic, we decided to explore this establishment, and the decision was highly rewarding. Kari provided impeccable service, enhancing the overall dining experience. The chef salad was particularly noteworthy, with the cherry peppers and pepperoncini adding a delightful zest. The lasagna was equally impressive. We highly recommend this location and suggest requesting Kari for a memorable visit; we anticipate your return.

Amazing banquet experience!!! So affordable! I planned a baby shower here from a different state. I worked with closely with Connie and answered numerous questions I had. They worked with me through changes in Party number a few times. They provided the table and chairs which can be a huge expense when planning an event. It’s a beautiful spacious venue serving food buffet style. Plenty of parking. Food was delicious and all the guests were satisfied. Gloria was working with me that day. She got the drink station and the banquet tables set up, and even cut our cake. She is amazing. Thank you Mama Cozza’s! I’m definitely coming back. Please consider this local family-owned restaurant for banquet events!

This place is so cute, almost sort of homey. The staff was nice from the greeting at the door to everyone we encountered throughout. The food was delicious, fresh, and perfectly portioned. Our waitress was so nice and attentive. We kept seeing pizzas pass our table, so our next item to try is one of those. We will definitely be returning.

Google
We have been coming here since I was a kid. Always have enjoyed their pizza. This was the first time I've been there when they had live music and the musicians were excellent and a lot of fun.

Google
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. All of the food was delicious 😋. Their pizza 🍕 goes in my top 10. The fried jalapeno ravioli is great!. The garlic cheesy 🧀 bread 🍞 is also great! My daughter loved the Fettuccine Alfredo with mushrooms 🍄and my daughter is hard to please when it comes to pasta and pasta sauces. I look forward to returning here soon.

Google
I've been looking for a gem like this by my new house!! Everything was top notch. The waitress we had was so sweet. Food was BOMB! Atmosphere was so authentic and it was cool to see it was in Diners Drive ins and Dives. Also I heard Gwen Stefani used to hang out there. They had a little bar in the back as well and I heard from the hostess they have live music on the weekends definitely will be back!! We got a pizza and added a little extra dough to make it thicker because we heard the pizzas usually come pretty thin and also got the creamy pesto pasta and a meatball soup.🔥🔥🔥 all were so delicious.

Google
I had the chicken parm and my girlfriend had the meat lasagna. They gave me a military discount, so Not only was it cheap it was good. If you like Italian food, I highly recommend eating here as this place is surrounded by Arabs and halal food. So give them your business and service.

Yelp
Fried Mozzarella tasted more like mozzarella dog (corndog). The batter was a little airy and had a slight crunch with a soft inside. The sauce served with it is a little simple. The salad believe it or not was the highlight. Creamy ranch dressing but if you don't like peas and beans in your salad make sure to ask without. On my shrimp Alfredo I had the option between jumbo shrimp and mini shrimp. It looks like they tossed a hand full and a half of mini shrimp from a frozen bag. The noodles were slightly under cooked, still a little firm. Spinach cheese ravioli was slightly undercooked as well and the sauce was too simple Garlic bread was room temperature and stale. Ratings Fried mozzarella: 5/10 Salad: 8/10 Shrimp Alfredo: 4/10 Spinach cheese ravioli: 4/10 Garlic bread: 4/10 Service: 9/10 Overall: Rating: 3.7 Price for party of two = $60.35

Yelp
this just in: the italian passion LIVES. you could call me a connoisseur of all italian food and the italian work ethic, having come from a long lineage of the italian race, being a product of the american-Italian culture myself... so trust me when i say mama cozzas has mastered both the food and the work ethic. but not just mama cozzas, rather what I've credited to two workers with as they sustain and live on to be the back bone of this fine, fine industry, they are: olivia and lola. these young women of class and passion ran this establishment with not only a powerful glow, but a firm fist of swiftness. i'm not sure if the building would be as warm, welcoming, and cultured without these two and their smiles and outstanding etiquette. i hope to see a mama olivia's or a mama lola's establishment in the near future. my delicious margarita pizza and strawberry lemonade was divine and was delivered to my meek hands quickly and with the same care NASA had while sending a man to the moon: (with determination and before the russians could beat them to it.) congratulations mama! (cozzas) you won the employee lottery. 10/10! will be returning soon.

Yelp
This place continues the long standing perception of horrible Italian food in OC. Actually this joint takes horrible food to a whole new level. I will say the service was pretty good, and the salad was even somewhat edible. After that just forget about it! I would highly suggest a complete makeover / overhaul of the entire place beginning with the cooks who obviously have no clue what they're attempting to prepare. Please post on your antiquated Mama website once you have hired a new kitchen crew so we could possibly re-evaluate.

Yelp
Great experience and pizza didn't disappoint. This is a place of memory and great pizza. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty empty. Was quickly sat in the bar as I wanted to watch football. Quickly ordered a medium pep, sausage and meatball and a side salad. The salad was fresh and perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. The pizza was spot on and of course had that distinct Mama Cozza crust. I have had this pizza for years and it felt like something changed, not for the worse, but I think they made a change to their cheese. Service was awesome and the tv and stories that started to be shared in the bar were entertaining. Thanks for a great slice!

Yelp
Ordered the mamas special 10" and some wings. They have 3 flavors to choose from and I chose Buffalo. The pizza was tasty and satisfying. The wings were really soggy and undercooked. I let my friend try some wings and he agreed that they indeed tasted undercooked. They were good size wings and sauced thoroughly. Service was great. The soggy wings were the only thing that kept my rating from reaching 5 stars.

Yelp
Quality of the food is not as I remember. The pizza used to be delicious. I moved and did not go back. But let me tell you, please remove the mama because mama would not approve. I'm trying to put into words what the pizza tasted like and all I could come up with was refrigerated boxed pizza. Quality, freshness is not where you should cut corners. I didn't not enjoy it at all. Why can't businesses stick to traditional recipes and practices. I'm saddened that mamma Cozza's is not what it used to be. The "mozzarella sticks" were spongy and the cheese not melted! Service was not warm and welcoming. Instead it felt like we were walking into a conversation and it felt awkward. If the pizza was this bad then everything else must be the same. Sad. For the sake of the business I'd go back to how it used to be.

Yelp
This is an average Italian restaurant that offers dinning and banquet rooms. The service was attentive but the food was mediocre. I had the lasagna which was covered in sauce. The portion was fine but I don't understand all the sauce to hide it. My friend had the chicken parmigiana and spaghetti, which she said was tasty. Parking can be a challenge. This is a basic place for typical Italian food - nothing special or unique.

Yelp
The best Italian food in Orange County hands down you can taste the love when you eat here everything is excellent

Yelp
I honestly had higher expectations for the food here. I ordered the 1/2 and 1/2 plate which has both the fettuccine Alfredo and the meat lasagna with it, the Alfredo sauce was bland and really just tasted like flour and garlic, I liked the lasagna better the lasagna noodles were perfectly cooked and I loved the cheese in it, but it had way too much sauce on top and it was too acidic, and the meat was super chunky. The minestrone soup was good. Boyfriend said the clam chowder was too thick and too fishy and that it was lukewarm / cold when it arrived. He got the build your own pasta dish with rigatoni, vodka sauce and jumbo shrimp and when it came out it looked like a bowl of soup , there was way too much sauce and it was too liquidy of a consistency , and the shrimp tasted too fishy . The cheese pizza was pretty good. Service was ok, although she was very nice, I couldn't find my waitress a couple times to get silverware, more water etc. Nothing was very memorable food wise, and I will not be returning here.

Yelp
They're wonderful, the staff and food is great never had a bad experience. And it makes you feel like family there.

Greg S.

Yelp
We had a Gloria's Salad and a Mamas Special pizza last night. Our waitress was very attentive and took good care of us. Our large salad was very good and actually large. There have been times in the past that we thought we were getting ripped off for the price of the salad. Our Mamas Special pizza was good also, but we feel that they are getting a bit skimpy on the toppings compared to the way they use to make it. The crust was also good but seemed a little tougher than usual. Overall everything was good but they should get back to their old quality.

Yelp
I have lived down this street from this place for 20+ years and have never ventured in here. This is by far some of the best Italian food that I have had. I had the chicken Parm and it was great. Normal chicken Parm has a deep fried greasy taste. This was such a pure taste that you could taste the breading on top of the chicken with the sauce. It was great. Our server Kari was super attentive. She gave me all her recommendations of the different things that she liked with lots of details. The salad was colorful, flavorful, and enjoyable. The atmosphere was light and the lights were softly dimmed. It is a smaller place so the seating isn't as large as most places, but it was comfortable. The prices were reasonable & the portions were huge. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
I went here two years ago. It really feels almost like a decade ago. The interior is nice. The food is delicious. At my first internship, we had an Italian Christmas meal, and the meals were from here.

Yelp
I took my mother to this establishment for our Evening Rations. This was our first visit. Business was slow enough that we were immediately taken to a table. I ordered the open face New York Steak Sandwich. My mother ordered Lasagna with Meat Sauce. I also ordered a small Caesar Salad. The salad was good. The Steak was cooked to order (medium) and was near perfect. The fries were quite good. I thought that my mother's lasagna had too much sauce. There were onion rings on top of the steak though I definitely did not ask for the onion rings. I am allergic to onions and I did not see any mention of onion rings coming with the Steak Sandwich on the menu. Deduct one point for that. My mother was happy with her lasagna and soup... good. I do have a bone to pick about the personal appearance of the guy who greeted us. I noticed that he wore his shirt untucked. I consider his personal appearance to be unprofessional due to his untucked shirt. This is something that I am OCD about. I deduct one point for the untucked shirt. There were two all gender washrooms. One was bigger than the other. Both washrooms had paper towels available... good. Finally, my mother asked one of the employees to please turn the overhead fan near her off since she felt a draft. The employee honoured that request even though she didn't have to. I believe in giving credit where credit is due so I am crediting this establishment one point for honouring my mother's request. If I was to assign a letter grade like is done in school this establishment would be in there solid with a B.

Yelp
Coming here with a big group today - should be fun! We sat in the overflow room. Diane was our server and was assisted by a couple of young men refilling drinks and whisking away empty plates. We had 14 people in our party and half were teenagers. We ordered a bunch of pizzas. One couple tried the cauliflower crust and thought it was pretty good. I had the small Gloria Salad $8 that was absolutely delicious and a slice of Mama's Special Pizza. Many people ordered ice cream at the end - they have Spumoni!

Yelp
I've lived nearby for.over 40yrs..use to.order 2xs monthly..Now maybe 5xs a year...always hoping food better...ordered small pizza $21.00 of wasted $ & calories! Dad, Frank passed & daughters should sell it...horrible dry, frozen crust & bland sauce..I use 2 love their mama sauce with half rav & speg..salad a joke now..& the service sucks..rude, dismissive.

Yelp
We went to Mamma Cozza's around 4:00 on 9/10/25. No one was there so we looked for the hostess. She sounded upset. I spoke with her briefly about a 'ownership change' on outside of the building. I read it before we went in. I mentioned it to her and WOW, she started raising her voice accusing me of not reading it. Raising her voice is a nice statement...she was actually yelling at me. "If you had read the whole thing...." I told her that I was just making conversation. There was no apology so we absolutely left. I spoke with owner Connie on 9/12/25 two days later. She listened to my concern but I had the strong impression she didn't care. This is the first time in over 30 years of dining there that we felt unwelcome.

Yelp
Great Saturday evening entertainment. Friendly service and excellent food selection! The owner is usually onsite and very friendly.

Yelp
A family owned restaurant. This place has been in business for over 20 years and you can tell. We orders a pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks I believe were homemade and they were huge and came in a funnel cake type batter. The cheese was good but the batter left much to desire. The pizza was okay, being from NJ, my palate for pizza is different. The service was amazing. Very attentive. It's more a dive with a catering room. They have sports playing by the bar. If you're in the area stop by.

Steve B.

Yelp
We came in, basically, right as they opened. Pizza and a salad, cheese Ravioli's, and drinks: $50. This place does pizza right. Since there is nothing to be improved, as far as the food is concerned, they haven't changed for years. Frank Cozza is very friendly, and came out to have a conversation with us. It's a family restaurant that has been doing this for years, and it shows. Everything about this place is amazing, we will definitely be back!

Natalia T.

Yelp
The service was amazing! We were sat immediately, gave our orders without any delays, the food was fresh out of the oven. Had some one walk by to see if we had been helped. Didn't have to ask for a beverage refill, didn't have to ask for to-go containers. Our leftovers were boxed right at our table for us. Now, the food is average. Heavy on the spices but all in all good.

Yelp
My husband and I were visiting from Henderson, Nevada. We met a good friend of my husband's there who he hasn't seen in years. My husband knows the family that owns the restaurant. He saw one of the family members while we were there. My husband ordered lasagna and I ordered linguine with white clam sauce. His friend ordered a combination plate with a dinner salad. Our meals were served fresh, hot and delicious. Everything that was served was authentic Italian with a side of love as they make sure you're satisfied and happy with their homemade authentic dishes. The ambiance is cozy, friendly and welcoming. It's akin to going to a family gathering in their home. There was a band playing music in another part of the restaurant. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely return when in the area.

Yelp
The Clam Chowder will knock your socks off. Only on Fridays. The food was excellent. I will be a return customer.

Yelp
I am a 5th generation Mama Cozzas customer. I LOVE that I can come here and get the same pizza I had when I was a kid. It is cozy and the food is delicious still. I hope to be able to bring many more generations here.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place for my bday and because it's one of Gwen Stefani's fav restaurant. We decide to go with the white pizza the service was kind of slow the place was not packed and after we got our food I was on my first slice when I see 2 hairs on my pizza. I was disgusted we called the waitress over and she said "oh no " do you want me to take it away ? I'm like yes I don't want it anymore she's like yea some people get grossed out I'm like umm yea I think anyone would. She then proceeds to say she will not charge us for the pizza and then asks if we want to take the rest. I said no I don't want it at all then she says would you like desert I'm like no mam I want the check and to go. They never apologized and she comes back with the check and tells us oh I found more hair it's from the brócoli I was shocked because brócoli has no hair at all. I said ok mam we payed and left. It was incredible that they didn't think it was a big deal and never apologized I will Never return to this place.

Bill R.

Yelp
Mama Cozza's cheese pizza is to die for. One of the very best cheese pizza I have had in a long time.

Yelp
ONLY COME HERE for good food and for the ladies to love on you like your family. Food is always fresh! Literally!! I am not a pizza sauce kinda human but I'll devour theirs like there's no tomorrow. You taste the raw tomatoes in every bite. Service is as if your favorite aunties have been waiting for you to come home for lunch or dinner. Warm cozy interior with Italian music always playin in the background. This place is way bigger than it looks on the outside aaaaand there is even an outside eating area!!!

Yelp
The Best Italian food that I know here in the OC! I'm a pizza guy! This is why I go here! But, it's oh, so much more! Relish dish, good beer selection! Great pasta dishes and my favorite Salad, Gloria's Salad! Just, the Best!!

Dierch B.

Yelp
Home run service. Food is just as good as it gets. Large portions!!! TVs galore. There is a reason it has been in business for so long. I would highly recommend this restaurant to a family or someone wanting to watch whatever game you want to watch. Great bar area and a banquet room open for large 85+ guests. Ive had 5 different meals and all of em are dynamite!! Sit down and a dinner salad there in minutes.

Erica D.

Yelp
We LOVE us some Cozza's! A staple in the community - been supporting our local High School Sports Programs for years! Our family has been coming in since we were kids with my Dad & Grandfather. The food is AWESOME & the Staff is ALWAYS Welcoming! Thank you Cozza's - We'll be in again tonight!

Yelp
Amazingly authentic Italian restaurant with family friendly service. Highly recommend this Gem

Yelp
I had better food at the theme park than I did here. The sauce tasted like it was only wine and nothing else- it was more of a drink than a pasta. The spaghetti's sauce tasted no more fancy than school cafeteria sauce. Wouldn't recommend

Yelp
Been going to Cozzas for decades. The food has become a hit or miss, so has the pizza . The staff is friendly for the most part, but many can be snobbish and have an 'attitude'. They tend to treat their 'locals' better or favor them over other guests. They say they have a happy hour but I've never seen anything posted, and I've been there all hours of the days and evenings. Even at 4 and 5 pm in the 'lounge'. I was recently there at 4:30, and my beers were $6 and $8 and there was no happy hour menu. We ordered pizza, chicken picatta, and a large Gloria's salad. No bread was brought for my salad, although the menu says, soup and salad are served with bread. Our salad was drenched in dressing and lacked lettuce. I mentioned this to our server, and we were pretty much ignored. Salad was pretty much uneaten. Our pizza seemed to lack toppings, and it was not cooked throughly and tasted doughy, which seems to be the norm more often nowadays with their pizzas. They are definitely cutting corners and trying to save money or trying to be creative with their food and menu to save themselves money. Oh and the restaurant and bar area really need a cleaning and dusting as do the bathrooms.
google avatar

Jacinta d.

Yelp
Love this place, it's a complete feel-good, locals kinda spot that's been around for generations. Their food is great, good sized portions, and you cannot beat their prices. If you're afraid of garlic, don't come here. The servers are friendly and know the regulars, bus boys are constantly coming thru refilling drinks and clearing plates. Only a few miles from the parks, it's well worth the drive to get way better food, for half of the price of a crappy park meal.

Yelp
Mama Cozza's is renowned for its delicious flavors and comforting dishes that have the power to transport you to the heart of Italy with every bite. From traditional recipes passed down through generations to innovative creations that push the boundaries of flavor, Mama Cozza's offers a culinary experience that is truly unparalleled. The melding of family-style home cooking with creative twists brings a unique charm to the dining table, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes every meal feel like a special occasion. Mama Cozza's is my favorite Italian go-to restaurant that I highly recommend! Sharing good dining experiences with others is a great way to spread joy and help support local businesses. Naturally, I want to share that with my friends and family. The tasty dishes, the Spumoni, the cozy ambiance, and the friendly staff keep me coming back. Especially Frank, Connie, Gloria & Matt who never disappoint!

Yelp
First time trying this restaurant, my overall experience was good , food was just ok but the service and ambiance was great . Ordered the fried Mozzarella and the inside was cold , the steak needed lots of salt , the pizza was average at best , ordered a small and it was soggy . The Alfredo was pretty good , the chicken was tender but the shrimp looked like they had been boiled or cooked in the sauce which made them a little tough and over cooked . Canoli was very good , full of flavor , oh also ordered the Minestrone Soup is was terrible , tasted like they put lemon juice in it . Overall it was a decent experience, not sure if I would go back , but thanks for the fantastic service .

Yelp
Went on Valentines Day and even though busy, service was fantastic. However, the food was a miss for me. Lack of flavor. We ordered mussels and I had Chicken Picatta. Both seemed to be lack of salt and very oily. Had not been in a long while to sit and enjoy. Now I'm worried about ordering their pizza to go which is always our go to choice for . Also heard from a friend that there had been a change in cook not to long ago. Not sure if this was the reason for not so good food.

Yelp
Very local small town feel! Amazing service. They have music in the lounge too! Awesome vibe! Good food. Large portions.

Yelp
They have the best minestrone soup. I've tried many places and made it myself. However, I always come back to theirs. The food is amazing (try the lasagna) the staff is decent. Just don't catch the owners daughter on a bad day

Yelp
I like this place, been going here since I was a kid. I'm not sure if it's nostalgia or what but I have a soft spot for old school mom and pop spots but imma keep it real. I ate here not too long ago and honestly didn't expect much but it was fire. I got a meatball sub, my girl got some pasta and my brother got the same and it was very good, can't complain. Recently went back and got pizza to go, the white pizza, half chicken. Pizza was totally flavorless, we got it hot out the oven and it literally had no flavor, was super bland. Unfortunately I have to say that the pizza was bad but don't let that stop you from coming here just be careful with ordering the white pizza I would Order the pasta.
google avatar

Charlyann M.

Yelp
So, this was a very mixed bag for me. The food: we got cheese lasagne, spaghetti with meat sauce, pizza and salad. The pizza was alright. None of it was memorable. But, I got a chocolate cannoli and it was great! I would definitely order that again. The server was very friendly and nice. But, it was not quick by any means. The band: awesome, I'm biased because they are friends of mine! It was very fun! The cocktails: 8.50 -10 bucks a pop. Very good price and pour!

Yelp
Oh man, what a huge disappointment this meal was. My husband grew up down here and has such fond memories of being with family at Mama Cozza's. We were both so looking forward to our meal tonight. We met his brother, wife, and their two kids there as well. The service was super nice. Very friendly and accommodating. We had a two year old in our group and our server brought her a coloring book with crayons, and even brought her a little bowl of tomatoes when she found out that she was obsessed with them. I ordered the veal Marsala which came with choice of soup or salad and a pasta of my choice- I went with the minestrone and fettuccini Alfredo. My husband ordered the chicken Marsala with the minestrone and vodka mostaccioli. His brother got the meatball sub, his wife ordered the eggplant parmigiana, and their teenage daughter got spaghetti with pesto. Our minestrone was super weird. Very very dark brown broth and very salty. Strangest minestrone I've ever had. Husband agreed. Our marsala dishes were just plain awful. It seemed to us that they put the meat cutlets in a small baking dish, tossed in some mushrooms and marsala wine and threw it in the oven to cook. There wasn't any marsala gravy- the "sauce" was completely clear and oily. My Alfredo was so-so but my husband said the flavor of his vodka sauce was good. His brother said his meatball sandwich wasn't bad but it was very dry and didn't have much sauce. The brother's wife's comment about her eggplant parmigiana was, "I didn't know you could screw up eggplant this much". The teenager liked her pesto. My husband left this place feeling so dismayed. He remembered it being so delicious but he literally said this was one of the worst meals he's ever had. I know this place has a ton of history, but they need to find better cooks. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Yelp
Place is just the best! Great service, food oth!!!!!. Guess there is a reason it has been there since the 60s. Owner said hi personally. Huge portions! It will be a bi monthly place for me. Highly recommend it. Gotta try all the items!!

Yelp
This place has very good pizza, lasagna and raviolis, which are my top 3 favorites. The sauce is great and the atmosphere is really cool. It's affordable

Yelp
Our go to pizza spot when we are at the Disney parks. It's a great way to get away from the crowds and eat at a locals spot that's been around for decades. Very reasonably priced, great service. Cute traditional ambience. It's everything you would want from a place like this. Lots of parking in the rear also!

Yelp
My wife's family and all of her neighborhood friends have been dining at Mama Cozza's for decades. It was never my favorite Italian food spot in the past, but this time changed everything. We showed up with a group of 10 people for lunch following a memorial service. We were greeted quickly and escorted into a side room where we could have a somewhat private dining experience. Connie Cozza, the daughter of the mother and father who started the restaurant, was our server. She's clearly a pro, because she handled the entire party of 10 people all by herself and everything was nearly flawless. Most people in our party ordered something different. I had the opportunity to try a little pizza, pasta, meatballs, salad and lasagna. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The highlight of the experience was hearing Connie Cozza talk about her family and the history of the restaurant in the Anaheim area. On a somber note, she did share that she and her brother will probably be retiring and closing the restaurant sometime soon. Running a restaurant can take a lot out of you, and it's definitely not an easy business. Apparently no other family members want to continue the business. My wish would be that maybe they could find a buyer who would try and keep Mama Cozza continuing for years to come. Mangia!

Yelp
Went on a Saturday night and they had a live band from 7-9pm. Small dance floor but it was good seeing the older folks out dancing. The place was hopping. I forgot what I ordered but one dish was ok and the chicken one was not good. We also ordered a side of meatballs and it was huge but the taste and texture was very weird. Gwen Stefani loved this place but not me. Might have give this place another shot but food wise Ruffino's on Euclid taste much better.

Yelp
What a surprising little gem. I helped a friend plan her wedding reception dinner here and I was so surprised by the level of service and quality of food. We met with Connie twice to plan and had lunch with delicious food both times. Connie was so kind and helpful and had so many great vendor recommendations. The reception dinner was a huge success because of Connie's work ethic and the entire staff couldn't have done a better job! And the food was delicious! Highly recommend Mama Cozza's!

Yelp
Best pizza I've had in California. Really not much more to say. But I'll indulge. My grandpa has been coming here for 50 years and wanted to take me as a bonding/reminiscing experience. The vibe inside is warm and feels like I walked into a family pizzeria in Italy. We had the mama special and I was literally in shock at the taste. All of the ingredients tasted so fresh and well seasoned (especially the meat). Absolutely a return visit with grandpa in the future anytime I'm in the area again!
