The pasta was cooked perfectly, not overdone and not too al dente. Good flavors on the marsala and Rose sauce. They offer home made ravioli to new guests which is a great touch and they're delicious. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I will return to try more items 👍

We visited here recommended by locals around Manhattan Beach and we're not disappointed. Party of four, promptly served yummy garlic bread and olive oil, the drinks were brought out in a timely fashion by very accommodating and friendly staff. The good was so good, we got ravioli, Mama D's chicken and shrimp Linguini- and aside from the fact that we were genuinely hungry- found the food to be delicious! Laid back vibe, freshly made pasta and sauces-I'd highly reccommend this location!

This place was EXCEPTIONAL! It taste almost like my grandmother made it! The atmosphere was great and the wait was not too long. Our waitress was Heidi and she was super nice! Ask for her if you come to visit! We started with the stuffed mushrooms (amazing). I had the manicotti with meat sauce and my husband had the lasagna. It was all delicious!

I make a special trip when in LA just to eat here. The pink sauce is amazing as is everything on the menu. It's a must do when your in the neighborhood.

The food was amazing, the servers were very friendly & funny, what more could you ask of? I personally loved the fresh bread they give before your actual food. I ordered Beaus Linguine And Clams with red sauce, their sauce and pasta was very light and delicious, and the clams were fresh and also very delicious! I also ordered their cheese pizza with pineapple, and the pineapple was also fresh & wonderful. Not only that, but their minestrone soup was AMAZING!! I highly recommend this place.

Excellent and extremely fun atmosphere! The wait staff was very nice and welcoming (the manager was walking around personally talking with the guests and asking them how they were doing). There were free appetizers being served the entire time (cheese pizza, bread rolls, pasta samplers) and the food was perfect in every way. If you are on manhattan beach, you need to eat here.

Good tasting food I had the seafood lasagna and it was freaking great. A little pricey and not super nice people, but it is LA

I have been going to the Mama D's in Newport for a few years now, and it has been my favorite Italian restaurant since my first visit. They have the best customer service that I have received at any restaurant, and their food is absolutely fantastic. However, this location did not meet my expectations in any way. The service I received was impersonal and nothing out of the ordinary. The food was good, but nowhere near the level of their other store. Maybe my standards were set too high by the other store, but this was a rather ordinary dining experience.
