One of the best bowls i have had in my life. I wish they had brown rice, but who cares, this bowl was phenomenal and i was not expecting for their capsaicin sriracha to light me up but i loved every second of it. Will definitely be coming back

First time having Mama Dude's tonight - WOW, it is so good. I got half/half rice and spinach, chicken, cotija cheese, salt & vinegar kale, pickled turnip topped with coconut and tahini vinaigrette. Everything tasted so fresh, healthy, flavorful - it tasted like something you'd eat from a home kitchen (a home kitchen with an extremely gifted chef in it). Best bowl I've had maybe ever?! Will definitely be coming back to try the other flavors and combos.

The food is always fresh, healthy, and full of flavor! I love the seasonal menu and the house sauce — so good! I’ve recommended Mama Dude’s to my friends, and they all loved it too. It’s my top choice every time. Never disappoints!

The bowl was pretty pricey but the staff were incredible. Unfortunately my rice wasn't cooked enough, but the peanut sauce and avocado were amazing! I also ordered chickpeas but they didn't end up making it on the bowl. i think i just caught them at the wrong time, i would go back and give it another try.

Better than any of the chains offering similar style food. Always fresh with rotating seasonal menu. All the ingredients work well together and you feel good after eating it. Support your local businesses and eat Mama Dudes!!!

I was looking for somewhere quick to eat after training, and this place was the only restaurant around that had anything remotely healthy. There are many options to choose from, the portions are great, and it is very reasonably priced.

Mama Dudes is excellent! If it's your first time visiting, don't let the simplicity of the way the place or food looks fool you. If you're looking to eat clean, and need a good wholesome farm to table meal, this is it! It reminds you of a healthy version of Chipotle, but with all organic toppings and choices. The lentils and pickled radishes set the bowls off for sure. There is indoor seating, a variety of beverages for sale, and ample free parking in front of the restaurant. The vibe is chill and casual (think deli counter vibes). Take out friendly, pull up and enjoy friends!

I didn't expect it to be this good ! The food tasted so fresh, and everything had that homemade flavour. Staff friendly too.

This was SO SO good. My rice bowl was everything I needed and more. The bowl was FULL, flavorful and there were so many options to put in it. My bf's greens bowl was good for him, but it was so watery, as you can see in the pic. Mama Dudes if you're reading this, please spin those greens and dry them out! XO

Awesome food! The food changes every season and everything goes extremely well together. Also Andrew and his staff are extremely friendly. I cannot recommend enough!

Great food, great flavors, lovingly made sauces from scratch, an owner who knows what's in every item. Highly recommend and wish there was one closer to home, as we'd be regulars!

Love this place for fresh bowls! The Thai beef bowl I most recently got was absolutely delicious with their homemade kimchi, and all the fixings. I like that they rotate their menu based on what's in season and are very generous with the portions. Highly recommend!

There bowls are so fresh and flavorful with seasonal ingredients, I usually get "the sauce" which goes so well with everything, highly recommend!

Oh man, deliciousness, the essence of savory...best lunch in forever. greens or jasmine rice, really good pulled chicken (and/or pork or grilled avocado) with sweet and tart or salty or sour toppings -- super flavorful, like leeks and Tajín or asparagus and rye, or candied lemon. And amazing dressings -- I had 2, chimichurri and Earl Grey vinaigrette. Bringing a second bowl home to my husband. Please open more places! And they're open til 8:30, even though they're in the brunch category! Local produce too. Oh yum.

When you first walk in you aren't sure what to expect. It's in a strip mall, and there is not a lot of seating. Order at the bar and he puts it together in front of you. I had the half and half with greens and rice. Topped it with chicken, broccoli, crispy peas and a couple other toppings. In the words of my much younger co-worker, "this is fire." Have to try The Sauce on top.

Happened upon their food truck in Center city philadelphia and decided to give it a shot. The guys working the truck were super nice and gave me a run down of the menu. They had three protein options with a base of rice, lettuce mix or both. I went with a combo and chose the beef option. Everything was well prepared! The rice eas perfectly cooked, lettuce was fresh. The hot honey sauce was a nice combo of sweet with a kick. Apparently they're at the custom kitchen food truck most Tuesdays and Thursdays so definitely check them out!

This place is fabulous! Such great choices! I am vegan and it's nice to have so many toppings. The toppings are different. I don't think I have ever had baba ganoush offered as a topping. It's a great idea. Everything was tasty and the guy who helped us was very nice and knowledgeable about vegan options. I would love to see some tofu or beans in the future. We will definitely be back!

Excellent food, clean, clean bathroom, friendly - but excellent excellent food. Did I say it's delicious? Yum.

Delicious on wheels. Had this for the first and only time at a farmer's market in Princeton Junction. Damn, it was good. The mushroom and cauliflower bowl was fantastic, piping hot and so flavorful. The blueberry & oats was like dessert for breakfast and there are no regrets. More Chantilly cream please.

This food was sooo good! Real taste, no need to make it tasty by adding tons of salt or pepper like other restaurants and food chains. Very impressed

What a great surprise to get delicious bowls the way you choose!! Vegan, vegetarian, meat or chicken etc but my favorite was the grilled avocado on my bowl! Oh and the mozzarella in basil oil- wow! Since the menu changes- go now for a delicious bowl or order on Grubhub! Don't forget to add a pan fried pb&j for "dessert" ;) Doynow photostat we couldn't wait to taste our new favorite place!

Absolutely delicious! Fresh, quality ingredients and so tasty. I ordered the chicken bowl for myself & chicken/beef combo for the Hubs. We'll be going back at least 1x week for dinner. I pulled up for curbside takeout & the guy was a doll. Please support this business - you won't be disappointed.

OK... Maybe this review is hinged a bit by the fact that I had to wait well over an hour in line for food that... unfortunately, was just not worth it. Not to say that it was bad food, but I was really excited and felt like the line was long for a reason, when it was just long because (to their credit), they make things to order. I'd never heard of Mama Dude's, but when my husband texted me their menu at the Butterfly Festival in Stonybrook-Millstone Watershed Reserve, I was like wait... that sounds scrumptious! So, I decided to take on the line for a bite of the Italian sausage biscuit & apple cranberry slaw... was sooo very disappointed when I got to the front of the line to find out they were all out of slaw. They took a dollar off, but I'm sure that would've made the whole sandwich. I still agreed to get it, as that honey biscuit was calling me. And because I'm a greedy buzzard, I decided that I also wanted risotto. After I placed my order, it took another 25 minutes to get my complete order. So, I left feeling a little bit ripped off of time when the food didn't blow me away. I like that everything is supposed to be farm to table and seemed really fresh. I believe the risotto was nice and creamy, maybe needed a bit more salt or seasoning, it just seemed blah. I love that the biscuit was sweet and sorta doughy.. it complimented the salt and bite of the sausage. In their defense, I would give them another chance when I'm not a little peeved that I spent a very big fraction of limited time at a festival with my family waiting in line for food.

I've gone here since it opened up and I loved it, but lately they have been really skimping on the amount they give you. For the price, it's just not as worth it anymore.

What can I say besides I love this place. The food is delicious, natural, and healthy. This small business has all locally sourced ingredients and a seasonally changing menu. Prices are good given fair portion sizes and the high quality of the food. Forever my favorite place to go after the gym.

one of my favorite places to go after a long day at work. everything is so fresh, i've had the food made in front of me. the staff is so kind, they offer really good selections. it's clean and beautiful inside. overall, i really love this place.

Let me start by saying I don't love rice or so I thought - what I found out is I don't like over cooked rice! The rice bowls at Mama Dude's are outstanding!!! They start with perfectly cooked Jasmine rice, you then select your choice of protein, veggies and sauce. I would never put these combinations together in my own kitchen so I'm glad I gave this place a chance and do so regularly- when I'm not feeling their perfectly prepared rice I choose fresh spring greens aka salad or half & half! The owner and workers are super nice and will let you sample the sauces if you're unsure. One thing I like best about their business model is that they seasonally change their menu so you can never get tired of the selection! And last but not least all menu items are locally sourced and prepared without a ton of hidden ingredients so you feel good about putting the food in your body and supporting local businesses !

Favorite local spot, portions and flavors on point. Will eat anything and everything they have! Price point is great for the quality and amount of food you get!

As my very first review, this is so worth the time to express how my wife and I enjoyed this morning's breakfast. We perused through the West Windsor Farmer's Market today and were intrigued by the style of one of the food trucks...the Mama Dude's truck itself is unique. While it was difficult for us to choose as we wanted to try everything on the menu, we chose: The Taylor Pork Roll sandwich...the pork roll and fried egg were prepared to perfection. The Cherry Grove Farm cheese and fresh country white bread is THE BEST combination of a breakfast sandwich I can EVER remember eating. We also got the Seasonal Quiche with the Cherry Grove Farm Cheese...absolutely delicious! We both got the Hashbrowns with Tomato Jam, we felt was very flavorful...very creative! We look forward to our next visit to explore other distinctively special from Farm to Table creations. Nice job Mama Dude's!

Mama Dudes catered our private party and everything was amazing. We had the choose your own bowl menu and all of my guests praised the quality and flavor as well as Andrew's service. Especially the chicken. Highly recommend!

We had Mama Dude's food truck cater our backyard, outdoor wedding in September 2017 for 130 people. The food was delicious! All our guests enjoyed it. I also have a lot of dietary restrictions due to food sensitivities and knew a few guests had varying needs; Andrew was very willing to accommodate to all of them (vegan, nut free, dairy free, gluten free, oral allergy syndrome, etc). He also sources fresh meat & veggies from local farms, which is important to me. When we met with him to discuss the menu, he told me the menu was easily customizable to what we wanted and we had a tasting that impressed my whole family (cheese lovers who happily ate vegan mac n'cheese). It was so nice to be able to eat a Paleo meal someone else made! We had fruit kebabs, caprese salad shooters, and guacamole "bruschetta". The buffet dinner was grass-fed beef burgers, grilled chicken, and grilled portabello mushrooms, a cold sweet potato salad, vegan macaroni n'cheese, plantain chips, and collard greens. The food was delicious and the staff was great!

I have nothing but happiness and praise for this truck! They catered a wedding I had this past weekend and were awesome! Great at providing info on their menu and a lot of open communication to ensure everything will run smoothly. They were efficient getting out the food as timely as possible and food was amazing! Awesome truck and hope to eat more of their selections around Jersey. You made mine and wife's day amazing!

The worst egg sandwich I have ever had--from the food truck at the PJC Farmers Market. It's actually amazing that they could have come up with such a disgusting version of a food so simple and straightforward. The braised greens were mushy and wet and made the soft bread a soggy mess. They should really be using a different (more durable) type of bread. No detectable cheese. The egg appeared to have been cooked to death hours before making it into my sandwich. No sauce. Just gross soggy blandness. I only made it two bites in. I'm not at all a picky eater and almost always eat my food, even if it's not that good. But this was absolutely AWFUL.

We had Mama Dude's cater a small mother's day brunch with my family and the food and service was phenomenal. Everyone raved about how good everything was. My father has a rare food allergy to fructose which makes eating out difficult for him and he was thrilled that he was able to eat everything that Andrew made for us because everything was made with his allergy in mind--which is impressive because the allergy is so unusual. We couldn't be more pleased and highly recommend Mama Dude's to anyone looking for a personal chef or catered event.

Andrew catered a formal('ish) dinner party at my house. Food was AWESOME and everyone was professional. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and would hire him again.

AMAZING. From the second they take your order to the very last of recieving the order service was TOP notch. My family and I went to the farmers market and decided to give them a try. Loved the service, food-- the quality OF the food and the fact that they do not use styrofoam to pack the to go orders will be coming back. Two very hard working men thank you

Got the sausage hash. Literally the best thing I've ever eaten. So unique yet a trip to flavor town. I'll be back!!!

Just had Mama Dude's come to our office for lunch. The beef bowl was phenomenal and fairly priced! Can't wait until they come by again.

Mama Dudes truck catered a house party for us, the food was different and delicious with lots of interesting flavor combinations. Our guests were very happy. Andrew was great, we had over 50 people and there was minimal wait time and friendly service with options for all diets. I would have liked to see a non-spicy vegetarian option. I also wish he used more earth-friendly containers & utensils for service, especially given his emphasis on farm-to-table and locally sourced food. Overall we were really happy with the service, the food, and the value.

Last night we attended a New Year's Eve party At the Bordentown Elks. It was catered by Mama Dude's. The food was absolutely horrible. First off the salad was nothing but clumps of sliced carrots with no or hardly any dressing. Secondly everything was cold. The strong beans were hard and overly seasoned. The pasta was pasty and cold. There was some type of meat served. Only God knows what it was. It looked like boiled stew meat. It too was cold and dried out. It was actually gray in color. It tasted horrible! I wouldn't even feed it to my dog! There wasn't enough bread at the table of 10. Not one person at our table ate any of the food. In speaking to others at the party, all agreed that the food was horrible. I would not even rate this place one star but that was the lowest I could give. Stay away unless you want to throw up!

We had mama dudes at our daughters first birthday. They were amazing to work with. All of our guests raved about the food and finished every bite! Andrew was extremely pleasant to work with. We will definitely be hiring them again!!

This is the food of gods. THE GOLDEN GODS!!! And honestly, if you have the pretentious stones to complain about an artisan, farm to table, handcrafted meal such as this; then you deserve to be fed slop like the uncultured swine you are. The chef spends his days meticulously preparing a thrilling and exotic menu featuring the freshest ingredients and unique flavor combinations just to please your unworthy palate. When you finally come to the threshold of this heavenly culinary diamond in the rough, your soul will be untethered and you will delve freely into farm fresh ecstasy for you cannot comprehend such an experience. So if you find that this four wheeled transporter of the gods is within a 3 hour radius of your shanty, do yourself a favor; drag your sorry self to the back of the line and prepare to experience a flavor that you could not once fathom.
