Mama Maxie's Pizzeria

I purchased some takeout last week and definitely enjoyed their Pizza. I am extremely picky because I come from the East Coast originally. So, I want a good sauce and a nice cheese and a super yummy crust. They actually did not disappoint. Additionally I added in and order of garlic knots. And they were very tasty and enjoyable too and worth the price. A very easy appetizer to share with a few people. We have not sat down and eaten inside yet so I cannot comment on the atmosphere. But hopefully when we get a minute can stop by the hubby and I. And then we will try more dishes like the salads and calzone and such.

Best white pizza in town! They have pizza by the slice too. The kids enjoyed the pepperoni pizza. Wings are excellent. We will definitely be back, can’t wait to try other menu items! 5 star for great pizza night! 🍕💯

Wow!! So, why aren't more people trying this place?! It's SO good. Seriously. I'm not getting paid to say this, they probably don't even care that I really liked it, and they didn't know I'm a top google reviewer. And still - it was a great pizza, and so were the wings. We asked for well done wings, perfect. Yum. They were super friendly, as well as accommodating to us. Also great place for families too. Definitely going back soon. Totally deserve a discount for this awesome review. Just saying. Lol 👼 Pizza lovers FYI: It's not soggy in the middle. ❤️❤️❤️🎯

My family and I do pizza every Friday and choose a new spot weekly. This spot came up on a search and we decided to give it a try. We ordered 2 16” pies and an order of fries. The supreme pizza was flavorful and I do appreciate the fresh veggies but I did ask for extra sauce which it didn’t have, we also got a 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 cheese with extra sauce which it also didn’t have extra sauce on it but we had gotten extra pizza sauce cups which were really good so I feel like the extra sauce on the pizza would have given this a higher rating. The crust was ok, I’m not sure how I feel about the crust, not anything I would rave about. Over all pizza was ok the fries were crispy and flavorful but not sure that this place would be our go to anytime soon.

Spontaneous visit, was impressed. Ms. Pac-Man Arcade machine kept us busy while we waited. Owner even gave us 4 quarters in free play. Lunch specials were superb, great pricing per serving size. Pepperoni pizza was delicious. Fries delicious. The kind woman who took our order also took care of us and was super friendly. Smiles from the front to the back of the restaurant. Deserved 5 stars. Will definitely recommend to friends and specifically plan a trip to Mama Maxie's in the future.

New Owner. What can I say, but wow! Wasn't expecting such high quality from my local pizza spot. I've had pizza from Brooklyn. Come to find out, their chef trained under a Brooklyn local. Lots of recipes from scratch. Excellent value for high quality. That's rare nowadays! Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Everyone was friendly and it did not take long to get my order. The pizza was pretty good, but a little over priced for the quality. The pizza had a good crisp crust. I got a meat lovers. The fried mozzarella was a disappointment. For about the same price I could have stopped at a grocery store and got the same box of cheese sticks and heated them up myself and still had more cheese sticks. It was my first time there. I might go back.

Update: This place is re-opened!! This pizza place was absolutely amazing!! The vegetarian one was my favorite and it has lots of mushrooms and leafy greens. The other ones like the sausage, pepperoni and onion one was super satiating and yummy. Needless to say the meat lover's special was a dream. So much marinated meat on top of a thin crust. Every pizza is definitely worth the money!!

Wow! This place is great! They have an intimate dining area and serve delicious pizza on what can only be described as top notch crust! Food: I had the meatballs and some pizza, my wife had salad garlic knots and a little pizza we shared. First the meatballs: what else can I say but they were delicious and tender and the sauce was a perfect complement to the meatballs. The pizza: The crust was excellent the sauce was very good and the toppings were quality, we ordered jalapeños and they were fresh and unlike any I have ever had on a pizza before. The garlic knots. Once again let me say Mama Maxies knows their dough! The salad: very good and the kind you would expect from a pizza parlor basic but very good The service: Sophia was our server. (Hopefully I spelled her name right). She is a gem of a person and just made us feel so welcome and she hits the perfect line of kind accommodating and not intrusive. I found out before we left this is her family's restaurant and I hope her dad and mom read this, because let me tell you both of them should be proud of this young lady! Ambiance: Think New York style pizza parlor with space for dining the kind you would find in little Italy on Mulberry street. I have to say I loved it. Quick shout out to Cameron the young gentleman who makes the pizzas. This guy takes pride in doing his job and has been making pizzas for around a decade and it shows. Final note, you know that feeling you get when you go somewhere simple yet well put together and the people there make you glad you came? The kind of place when you leave you sit in your car for a few extra seconds and think wow! How lucky was I today? Well that place for me was Mama Maxie's!

Ventured out from our usual place and so glad we did. We ordered the baseball special - knots/tenders/cheese pizza and it did not disappoint! Kids loved it and so did we! We'll be back soon to try out more of their menu :)

I live just up the street from Mama Maxie's and have been doing business with both Biaggio's, before his passing and now Mamma Maxie for the past five years. I was pleasantly surprised that the quality of the pizza, in my opinion, has not declined with the ownership change. The pizza I picked up this afternoon was hot, crispy and flavorful. I am sorry that I didn't take note of the name of the young lady behind the counter, but Joseph, you have a very exemplary employee. Mother's Day 4:00. You know who I mean. BTY: You need to call someone out to adjust your front door. It's a b**ch to open, but thanks to your sweet young employee helping, I made it home to enjoy my pizza while it was still hot. Happy you continued to serve delicious pizza in the wake of Biaggio's passing.

Found the newly opened Mama Maxie's Pizza shop in what used to be a different pizzeria. Staff was awesome. Host greeted us and answered some questions. I talked to the pizzaiolo who was friendly and told me about his pizza making background. He explained they make New York style and that he trained in Colorado and Chicago. Small dining area, very clean, enjoyed the construction, decoration and art for a simple neighborhood pizzeria. Ordered Fat Tire on draft and a large cheese pizza. Cheese pizza was a top 10% Vegas neighborhood slice! Was surprised! They make a fairly simple New York pie. Only mozzarella cheese which was amazing quality with a super long stretch, simple sauce using fresh basil and the crust was killer- great fermentation and stretched well, easy chew, pizza stays stiff upon grabbing a slice, didn't flop over but still easy to fold, just enough olive oil in the dough to give a perfect crisp crust! If you're near the Henderson area, grab a pie here and give it a try. These are the types of little shops that need recognition for good pizza! Overall a solid 4.5 for the pizza! Gave it a 5 for the conversation and customer service. Family friendly. Vegetarian friendly.

I only live about a mile from this place and had never heard of it. I received a coupon in the mail for it and decided to give it a try. I had an order of chicken fingers and fries and all I could say is excellent! I will definitely be back and I highly recommend you give it a try!

Fresh hot tasty food with super friendly customer service! Definitely recommend the sausage and pepper sandwich. Best melt in your mouth chicken fingers. It was my first time there but will not be my last. A hidden gem.

My 1st time ordering here and We ordered a pizza thru slice and it came incorrect. No biggie, we called in to let them know and they were more than willing to fix it. They gave us a replacement pizza and issued a refund. Upon picking up the replacement they were apologetic and were so friendly! The front girl is super sweet. The pizza was delicious!!! Well worth the issue. We will def be back! Thanks for being so awesome.

Our regular pizza place was closed for vacation. We had gone to Pizza Biaggios in the past and liked them so we went to yelp to get their number to order. When my husband pulled up to pick up our order he saw the name was different. When they answered the phone they just said "hello" and not the name of the establishment. The pizza was very undercooked, the cheese had a weird sour taste and the sauce just didn't taste right. We all barely ate one piece.

Mama Maxie's, (previously (Biaggio's.) I ordered a veggie pizza & Italian sub. There were some issues. I was given a credit. I stopped by on Feb 7, 2024 to collect. Biaggio had sold & moved. However, Bella at Mama Maxie's honored the previous owners debt. What great customer service!! Everyone knows good pizza is all about the crust!! It was delicious & my meatball sub was very flavorful (subbed for the Italian.) Give Mama a try, guarantee you won't be disappointed. Pricing is very reasonable.

love the margarita pizza it's delish! but wanted to leave a review because I was impressed with sirenty's customer service, she even opened the door for me. I remember when this place was Biaggio's the renovations are really nice tho
