Mama Shelter Paris West

Everything is a bit different in this hotel. The design is special but also interesting. I really like the merchandise. The check-in was below par the guy was really totally uninterested in his job. Also not so fan about the atmosphere in the restaurant during dinner a bit mcdonalds like. The beds and shower were great. Breakfast was also very good. Location of this place is not interesting at all if you are visiting Paris.

Very nice hotel with a lot of character - the design is impeccable and the rooms spacious. Check their hotel website when booking, they have some nice deals from time to time. Some downside is no water or coffee/ tea in the room, but I think this is by design to spend less time cleaning. I would have loved to see more hospitality from the staff. Overall a nice place to stay.

I had a great stay at Mama Shelter Paris West. The rooms were very comfortable, the temperature and ventilation were just right, and everything felt clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. The location was perfect for me, as I was attending an event at the nearby Porte de Versailles Convention Center — just a short walk away. In addition to that, the hotel offers easy access to public transport: metro, tram, bus, and even bike stations are all nearby, making it simple to move around the city. Overall, it’s a great option for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a cool, relaxed atmosphere.

No one ends up at Mama by accident !! It’s a choice !! If you want blend , plain hotel , this is not for you !! The location may not look easy on paper but with metro line 12 , you are at the heart of Paris ( Saint Germain des Pres , louvres ) within 15 minutes . Good size room with a Mama style . Great bed , amazing shower . Buffet breakfast could appear pricey at €21 but when you see the choices , the quality , it all makes sense. Chef can cook your eggs any style you want. Someone is ready to make you an espresso , cafe crème just like in a cafe Parisien !! The quality and quantity of food are outstanding!! And to make it even better, rhe breakfast team is “ joyeux” and ever so friendly !! And chapeau to them to keep this place so today and clean .

Very nice location. Good choice of drinks. However the waiters stay at the bar, you have to bring your drinks yourself to the table. They are not really fast or specifically pleasant, without being bad.

Ok this hotel actually fits the vibe of a quick business trip or a weekend getaway! The rooms are actually styled well and comfortable and the hotel itself has good amenities for the purpose. Staff seem friendly enough, just the location wasn’t that great! But it’s fit for purpose

I’ll start by saying, the only reason that I completed my reservation is because it was prepaid, and only for 2 nights. Everyone outside of Andrei (front desk) was rude and treated us as if we were a burden. No one ever greeted us, verbally, or simply with a smile. The rooms could use a deep cleaning. Old towels were taken by housekeeping, but not replaced with new ones, which lead to calling down and feeling like a bother for a simple request. The only positive about the hotel stay was the fact that we were in the largest room type available, which provided adequate space for 3 adults. Would not recommend, nor will I ever return.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are compact but well oriented and very comfortable. We ate and drank at the rooftop restaurant and really enjoyed it. Just note that if you’re arriving from the metro, it’s an uphill walk. The staff also went out of their way to help me store an ice pack needed for my medication!
