"Located around the corner from the Porte de Versaille Expo, Mama Shelter’s second hotel in the French capital has all the trappings of the trendy mini-chain: colorful urban art, a youthful atmosphere, a happening rooftop bar where DJs spin on weekends. Mama Shelter Paris West also has an indoor basketball court and a print shop where you can design your own t-shirt, among other diversions. French designers Dion & Arles are behind the whimsical interior decor, with guest rooms featuring concrete walls and velvet cushions, psychedelic carpets and woven headboards, rattan lampshades and colorfully patterned textiles, even quirky touches like Star Wars masks. In-room amenities include large flat-screen TVs with free streaming services and a complimentary sweets basket stocked with lollipops and gummy bears. It’s true you’re on the outskirts of Paris, but on the plus side, you’ll enjoy a dazzling view of the city skyline while having breakfast on the terrace." - Tablet Hotels

This hotel was great for what I needed! I attended unleash and this hotel was a 5 minute walk! The rooms were fine - the beds and pillows were very comfortable! |There was no door on the shower - which wasn’t ideal and the shower mat had a stain on it but apart from that it was fine! |We had a customer meal in the restaurant - the service and portions was very good! |The reception team were also great - printed some stuff we needed and lent me an umbrella for my stay!

Despite earlier hiccups with the air-conditioning system upon check-in, Mama Shelter certainly has a few extraordinary stars like Monsieur Haider, Madam Ilakya, Madam Pramila and Madam Amandine. Haider saved the day (actually, the nights) seeing to my request, providing the comfort for me to have better sleep. Ilakya made our stay memorable with her kind greetings and welcoming smiles whenever we see her at the restaurant for our breakfast. She would ask how our stay/breakfast had been. Simply a wonderful soul and truly a gem! Pramila had been such a great help with her recommendations for places to visit. She is a joy to see the moment we enter the breakfast area. Always poised, ready to welcome and checking in on us at our table. Amandine, at the front desk, was so patient and helpful when I approached her to ask some questions. She was lovely and friendly, putting us at ease almost immediately. A big thank you to all of you, Mama Shelter Stars, from Mama Yian❤️

Amazing place to stay. Rooms are big size and would fit a big group perfectly. The hotel had a nice vibe and touch because of its interiors. The restaurant on top has a great view and Eiffel Tower is also visible from there.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, we stayed over new years. The staff were amazing, location was perfect to visit all the amazing tourist locations. Would definitely book again.

Google
Cool hotel but as per some of the other reviews I read, the staff are generally some of the least friendly and helpful that I have encountered. That said, two members of staff were exceptionally good so I guess it's hit and miss when it comes to service.|They have a top floor restaurant with a kids menu and table football but I've no idea why are they seemed anti kids. |The Mama XL Family room was fantastic for two adults and two kids - great space.|Location is pretty far from everything but we managed to travel around on the tram and Metro. Note kids do not travel free on the Metro like they do on the London Underground.|There is parking in a brand new multistory carpark next door which the hotel credits you for costing only €25 for 24 hours. |Overall a modern, funky, fun hotel but we were not given a great reception on the whole.

Very good hotel The bed was very comfortable I hopped the room had more natural light. The food was amazing! That was definitely the best part. They don't have room service and aren't any flexibility towards exceptions. I got really sick (stomach) and had very high fever, and they couldn't even help by bringing me a tea. When I needed to eat something I had to go downstairs and bring it myself to the room, no one offered to help me with the big tray. Of course I got dizzy in the elevator and spilled it all over the tray. When I got to the room they were already calling me to go back to the restaurant because they couldn't put the meal on my room account, and I couldn't eat first and go downstairs after, I had to go immediately...so I went. I explained I poored the water soda because I got dizzy going back, and, with a smile on the face, they charged me another one (yes, I know it's not actually their fault, but everything together let me very disappointed with the attitude). So it's a good hotel, but don't get sick or depend on their help or good will for anything.

We visited the top restaurant of this hotel for a relaxed Saturday afternoon drink. Everything was going smoothly until a waiter abruptly informed us—without courtesy or tact—that we would need to vacate our table in an hour and a half. What made this especially frustrating was that we had only been seated for that exact amount of time, enjoying drinks and light bites. The way this message was delivered felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive. It was a disappointing end to an otherwise pleasant visit
