8 weeks ago my daughter started her winter field hockey training in Byfield. With the Covid restrictions we were unable to watch her practices. So my husband and I decided to pick a different breakfast spot around the area each week. On our 4th week someone suggested MamaDukes, so we went. First we were greeted with friendly staff….very attentive and gave great suggestions. While we enjoyed our coffee, we watched delicious homemade breads coming out from the kitchen…yum. Then our food came out. It not only looked amazing, it was delicious!!! The hollandaise sauce was perfect. Great day! 3 more weeks went by with 3 more breakfast spots. We promised our daughter at the beginning of our breakfast adventures we would take her to our favorite after her last practice. Well that was today and out of the 7 locations, MamaDukes was by far the best!!!! She absolutely loved it!!! Please go visit.

Where do I start……out of towner stopping in for a delicious breakfast. Good reviews with an amazing breakfast. I enjoyed a veggie omelette with Swiss and ham, along with the house corn beef hash (best I have ever had). I highly recommend stopping in. 😀

Stoped in on a Friday morning. The atmosphere is warm, casual and welcoming. Service is great and the food was AMAZING!!!! I had home made corned beef hash with two over easy and home made raisin toast. I just got a job in Newburyport and I will most definitely be coming back!! Can't wait!!!!

Breakfast was delicious! Great sausage, delicious homemade bread. We didn’t order anything fancy, just a classic breakfast, but it was the best we’ve had in town. Prices were very reasonable.

I wish I could give this place a nice review but I can't! We came in on St Patrick's day thinking the corned beef hash would be the star seeing they were advertising it all over the boards but it was not! The meat was all gristle and the only flavor was dried thyme. Our eggs were soggy poached and sitting in a bowl of water. My husband and I both only ate our toast and what egg we could get out of the bowl of water. I have to say we will not be giving this place a second try!

Omelet had everything I wanted, medium size. Corn beef hash could use more meat, mostly potatoes. Muffin were good. Very busy for just opening, to be expected. Clean, like new looks.

We were visiting from CT for a week and we ate at Mama Duke's at least 3 times. Never disappointed. Everything was great right down to the coffee. I highly recommend this restaurant. Oh and the waitress was a hoot too!!!
