I found this adorable French restaurant while waiting for my son at a nearby practice. My husband and I loved the romantic atmosphere, long wooden family-style tables, and many patrons sharing one table was typical (very European)
You order and pay at the counter; then, your meal is delivered to your table. The dishes are gorgeous; I didn't mind that mine had a chip; it added character. We both ordered very acidic coffees, and it seems that if you add plant-based milk to highly acidic coffee, it appears spoiled. I asked for a new cup without any fuss, and they said that's just what the milk does, no explanation. The new cup looks the same. I asked for half and half, and that fixed the problem. I had to go online to determine what was happening to the coffee. If something keeps happening to your coffee that is not normal or common, you should at least warn your customers when they order it so they can decide if they want to proceed. I am a visual person, and there was no way I would drink coffee that looked like it had spoiled milk.
From there, our service went downhill. Rude remarks, ignored questions, bombastic side eyes, lol. Regardless, my husband and I very much enjoyed the food. Not pictured here was their chocolate croissant with pretzels. It was $6 but enough to share and the best chocolate croissant we have had. They forgot we ordered it and made us wait 15 minutes, but it was worth it.
Would I come again? Yes, I hope they had an off day. The food is excellent, and I can see this being a fantastic spring/summer breakfast spot.
