Thanksgiving Day Dining Options Around D.C. | Eater DC

"Joon infuses Persian flair into Thanksgiving with a luxurious takeout feast ($325, serves 5 to 6). The package features a brined heritage turkey with herb butter, vibrant chutneys, and rich gravy, plus your choice of fragrant rice and sides like cardamom-spiced sweet potatoes and roasted veggies with urfa chile-garlic honey. Add signature dips or end on a sweet note with their Persian Love Cake or Joon roulette, both perfect for sharing." - Vinciane Ngomsi

The food was absolutely delicious and clearly made with great attention to detail. The kebabs were perfectly grilled tender, juicy, and full of flavor without being greasy. The rice was fragrant and paired beautifully with the meat, and the presentation was clean and appetizing. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both lunch and dinner. Service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant felt very clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended, definitely a place I would visit again.

Google
Very good, clean kebabs—always tasty. We come here often with our family and usually order the family platter. Prices are fair and the restaurant is clean. Cons: Seating is limited, so you may have to wait for a table. Also, they don’t provide filtered tap water, the machine has supposedly been broken for a long time and doesn’t seem to be getting fixed, which feels more like a choice than an accident.

Toddler was hungry so this was the only pace that was open after 9. Service was good but food was bland. No option of no tip on POS. Had to choose other and still was confusing. Got the icecream which was like a deep freezer old frozen. Not soft. As hard as rock. Didn’t enjoy it at all.

Google
Truly the best restaurant and the most delicious food I’ve had in a long time. I was skeptical at first, but it really exceeded all of my expectations. The staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was wonderful as well. The food was heavenly and reminded me so much of my grandmother’s cooking in Iran. A big shoutout to the kind Iranian man who gave me tips for sightseeing around the city, and to the girl who took my order. This restaurant visit truly sweetened my trip, and I will definitely be coming back.

Google
The service was wonderful, and the staff were attentive. I thought the atmosphere was comforting and the decor was very nice. The food was very enjoyable, the Koobiden was delicious, chewy, and a bit spicy while the chicken kebab was delightful and easy to chew. The salad was very flavorful, and the tomato was juicy! I #LOVED the pita bread with hummus. It was the BEST I've ever tried! The rice was great and very colorful. It was like a field of flowers! I was a bit concerned, though, when I found a piece of metal in it... I hope that that was an accident and that they will address the issue. But otherwise, I had a great experience here and suggest coming here for some casual, exotic food!

Google
Ordered the lunch special-kobideh with half rice and salad. The naan was below averag-just warmed up pita bread. The rice looked delicious but was totally bland. The salad was fresh but the dressing was inedible to me. The kobideh was ok, tender but not that flavorful. There much better places for kabobs. My sister order the exact same lunch and thought it was average as well, not great but not bad.

Google
Some of the best Persian kabob's I've had outside of LA. Extremely flavorful, and so moist you don't even need a knife as the food just separates with your fork! Highly recommend visiting this restaurant for some very authentic Persian cuisine.

Google
Maman Joon's reminds me of what Moby Dick's was like 30 years ago. I know it is unrelated but the quality of the latter has slipped as they have expanded IMO. However the Kabob at Maman Joon's is perfectly tender, perfectly flavoured, and perfectly cooked. I was sincerely impressed and cannot wait to return. Also, I tried the 🧆 and it blows the 🧆 at Moby Dick out of the water (pun intended). My official rating, excellent Persian Kabob served in large portions at a reasonable price. If you are a fan of Kabob and falafel, you will love this place.

Yelp
Plenty of food with each order. Either choose rice or salad with protein of your choice. Staff members are quick which keeps any line moving. Very friendly staff members! Space is large with plenty of seating inside and some outdoor patio seat. Quiet and separated from the hustle of the mall

Yelp
We wanted a quick dinner before a movie so a pay-at-the-counter sounded like a speedy option. As with many of my reviews, I look for places that have sustainability options, ie, reusable dinnerware and silverware and drink glasses. Based on pictures on their website and Yelp, we expected to get real plates. However, our meals were served on everything disposable which was strange since other customers before and after us got real plates. I'm confused. I'm not aware of any cultural requirement. I really wanted to try the falafels but they were sold out. I then asked for a lamb kabob skewer with a shirazi salad. I somehow ended up with a lamb kabob platter with rice. I guess there was a misunderstanding. I thought I could just get a kabob without the platter because there is an option on the menu for "extra skewer of kabobs." Maybe I needed to get a platter first before getting any extra skewer? Anyway, it wasn't explained to me. They also forgot to give me the shirazi salad (which was clearly printed on the receipt) and I had to go up to ask for it. Even with all the confusion, I still thought the lamb kabob was wonderfully made. The meat was soft and flavorful. It was crowded around 5:30 on a Saturday night so seating was tight. The larger picnic tables in the center of the restaurant had customers hovering over diners waiting for a free table. The three of us squeezed into a table built for two. It could have been a better experience.

Yelp
The workers at Maman Joon were super friendly, and if you dine in, they'll bring the food out to your table after making everything fresh. The restaurant is large with lots of seating. kubideh with basmati rice - I was pleasantly surprised by how juicy and beefy the meat was. We asked for the green sauce on the side, which added a nice bit of spice and really brought the dish together. The grilled onions were charred perfectly and had a nice crunchiness that I loved. I do wish the tomatoes were grilled a bit longer--some pieces still tasted a little raw and acidic. The rice comes with a pat of butter on top; it's a nice touch, but next time I'd probably just avoid mixing in the whole thing since it made the rice a bit too rich for me. 3.25/5

Yelp
Decided to give this place a try and we se whale we did! There's a lot of kabob places but I actually really liked this place ! We got the beef kabob and I also got the lamb kabob and I felt that it was very filling and delicious. You can get an option for the salad or rice and I wished I asked for half and half (not sure if they can do that) but the salad was good and the meat was really tender. I also enjoyed the pita bread they gave us in the beginning. We sat outside as it was warm still and it was really nice plus it's close to the parking garage. You can also opt to sit inside that's connected to the mall as well. I'd come back!

Yelp
At Tyson's for a movie, but we were early, so we decided to explore the food options instead of relying on popcorn. And I'm glad we did because we found Maman Joon tucked away into a side alley. What a find! If you like Middle Eastern food, Maman Joon hits the spot. I got the salmon and rice - perfectly cooked salmon, moist and smooth, with just enough char on the outside to add some crunch. And extra points for the pat of butter laid within the rice! It took longer than expected to get our food, but we got slices of pita bread with various sauces in the meantime, so it all worked out. If you're at Tysons and looking for something new, try Maman Joon and get your fill - you won't be sorry!

Yelp
I've been to Maman Joon several times now and glad the quality of their food remains the same. Juicy seasoned kabobs with lots of rice and a side of bread if you sit down in the restaurant to eat. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and it can get pretty crowded on weekends. My favorite is the chenjeh kabob and chicken kabob.
google avatar

Maria Gracias H.

Yelp
I've tried a bunch of their kabobs, including the Salmon. But on my last visit, we went for the lunch special that came with Kubideh on rice (half rice half salad) and Chicken Kanob on rice. Both were tasty! The Kubideh was definitely my favorite - super juicy and packed with flavor. The chicken kabob was really tender and delicious too!

Yelp
The lamb and chicken kabobs are SO incredible. Usually the lamb kabobs i've had are so chewy and my jaw hurts eating it, but this one is so juicy and tender and seasoned perfectly. the chicken kabob is my favorite. it might actually be the best chicken kabob i've had in this area. so juicy and seasoned perfectly, i could eat it for days. i love the basmati rice as well, it's warm and fluffy and is so good with the kabobs. the place is always crowded but the service is fairly quick still. great location in tyson's, ambiance is great they also have outdoor seating.

Yelp
Quality and integrity of this establishment is compromised. They are pumping out raw un cooked items due to high demand. The food quality and quantity has gone down hill in the past year. This is very wrong because they will make someone very sick one day . I will no longer support this franchise

Yelp
Soooooo yummmmy! I honestly am I shocked this spot is not more hyped up. We really enjoyed all our food here. Located in Tysons mall. The service was okay nothing to rave about. They were extremely quick! The ambiance is casual, there's seating inside and outside. The pricing is a bit high, but they give you A LOT of food. I ordered the combo beef kebab and steak kebab. I'd give it a 10/10 for both meats, very well seasoned. My bf ordered the chicken and beef which ended up being really good as well. Overall, I'll definitely be visiting again!

Yelp
We came here before a flight out of Dulles. I was not really sure what I was in the mood for but I began my search on Yelp and saw the what I thought was cevapcici. The place actually ended up being kebabs, which was fine. The place was really busy in the mall and you ordered at the counter and sat while they brought your order. I ordered the ground beef kebabs, their signature. I love that they give you a huge portion of good meat. The seasoning on the meat was slightly off to me personally. It wasn't gross but it wasn't my favorite. The rice was delicious. They also gave me a size of pita with taziki. I would have preferred hummus, but you had to purchase that separately. I also ordered a lamb kabab, which I thought was excellent. Much better than the ground beef. My boyfriend had the steak, which was the best kabab in my opinion. The meat was more on the tough side, but the flavor was incredible. The rice had butter and they gave huge portions. We also bought the hummus for the bread and the hummus was delicious. The prices were WAY TOO steep in my opinion. Our order was almost $80. Although they gave huge portions, for being an almost fast food like restaurant, I was appalled at the cost.

Yelp
Didn't know this place existed at Tysons Corner. It's hidden back by the Lucid and Michael Kors stores. If you don't know about it, you should. The food here was phenomenal! My gf and I stopped in for lunch one day and knew from the smell of the food alone that it was gonna be good. It was a tad pricier but they also give a good amount of food. I ordered the chicken and steak kebabs. She ordered the steak and kofta kebabs. They give pita bread and dip to eat while you wait. Note that they only give the one sauce per person! More sauces costs extra. The kebabs were so flavorful and tender. The service was fairly quick. The manager (maybe owner?) was kind. He did end up giving me an extra sauce for free since I didn't know they were extra. The food only took about 5 mins or so to come out. The ambiance is super casual. There's tables inside and some outdoors as well. They can hold a good number of people. Definitely will be coming back here. One order could definitely make for two meals for a lot of people!

Yelp
Really good food! Went to Tysons with a friend who was visiting and decided to stop in for lunch. The employees were great and very friendly and helpful with ordering. The chicken and lamb kabobs were very good, but the rice and sauces were personally my favorite!

Yelp
So, I stumbled upon Maman Joon Kitchen at Tyson's and l can say its a solid chicken spot Vegetarian Friendly: Sadly this spot is not a great place as a lot of the menu is meat heavy. They do have options but you should really eat here as there main attraction is meat Decor: The ambiance is inviting and chill. It's the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. And the bonus is they have outside heaters that keep you warm if you want to sit outside. Food Highlights: The Chicken Kabob stole the show for me as it was very well marinated and they included bread and yogurt which was great! Portion Size: Portion sizes are pretty good here so you definitely won't leave hungry, and you might even have some leftovers to enjoy later. But I wish they included 1-2 pieces of chicken as there was a lot more rice to chicken. Price: Considering the quality and quantity of the food, I'd say the prices are reasonable especially for Tyson Area. And just wanted to say there service was really good and got the chance to met the owner Peter Tabibian who was very nice and welcoming! Would I go Back: So even though it's good if I am in the mood for Chicken and Rice I would rather go to DCG as it has more toppings. But for a kabob place it was pretty good!

Yelp
This has become our go to place for kabobs. We typically get the chicken kabab or the steak kabob. Both are excellent. The pita bread is fresh, fluffy, and warm. The rice is well prepared and the salad is crisp and fresh. The only minor complaint is the hidden service charge on every order, for both eat-in or to-go orders.

Yelp
We just moved from LA and tried Maman Joon in Tyson Corner. Chicken kabob is juicy, perfectly done. Lamb and Chenje also very tasty , perfect seasoning. Sides, shirazi and maast were super fresh and tasty. Staff are super polite and friendly. 5 star, excellent ! Both indoor and outdoor space are available, highest recommendation, excellent quality and service

Yelp
Best kabobs I've had yet! I've been on a quest to find great kabobs and man did this place deliver. The lady that took my order was very helpful and great eye contact with great customer service. I got the ground beef kabob and chicken kabobs with an added salmon. The salmon needed to be cooked like a second longer had a very fishy undercooked taste but overall amazing amazing amazing. The rice was fluffy and complimented the kabobs perfectly. Thank you will be back ASAP

Yelp
The wife and I dined at Maman Joon Kitchen on 8/25/24 and were very impressed. My wife had Combo 2 (Koobideh = Ground Beef and Chenjeh = Prime Beef/Steak), while I went with Combo 1 (Koobideh and Chicken). Both dishes came with jasmine rice, a few peppers, and pita bread with a cucumber yogurt dip with herbs. The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and had a little spice but nothing overly crazy. The ground beef and steak was rich and savory, and all the meats were tender and soft. The location is inside Tysons Corner Mall and is convenient, with its entrance and patio that face the street, offering a nice outdoor seating option. We wanted to try the Falafel, but unfortunately, it was sold out. Despite this, everything we tried was amazing, and we'll definitely be back. Next time, we plan to try the Salmon, Lamb, and Persian Ice Cream. The only downside is the limited seating inside, so if you visit on the weekend, you may need to sit on the patio. Overall, highly recommended for both locals and visitors!

Yelp
Maman Joon Kitchen Tysons is a good lunch place. The prices are a bit steep for a weekday lunch, however, the portion sizes are decent. The packaging fee is very questionable, and I do not remember seeing that advertised anywhere on the menu or in the restaurant.
google avatar

Marc R.

Yelp
Having grown up in Riyadh as a kid, I always try to look for good authentic Middle Eastern food in the area. Maman Joon Restaurant is a fast casual spot that is very endearing indeed. Nothing fancy but straight up good quality their platters are reasonably priced based on the amount of food you get. I just wished I could get the grilled tomato and onions with the half rice and half salad option. But hey you can't have it all in life lol

J M.

Yelp
Food was poorly prepared and bland. It did not even taste like Persian food. No seasoning, poor quality rice, tasteless. I will not be returning.
google avatar

Lia M.

Yelp
I've been dying to try Joon, but haven't made it yet, so when walking by Maman Joon, figured I could at least try that. And I'm so glad I did! This fast casual, Persian kabob place is delicious. I ordered the chicken kabob with half rice, half salad, and ordered grilled tomatoes (extra). It comes with half pita. It was enough for two meals, which I appreciate. The chicken and rice were fragrant and the chicken was not dry at all. It was nice to have sumac shakers on each table. Salad was fresh. I'm looking forward to trying more menu options in the future.
google avatar

Claudia L.

Yelp
I've dined here several times and keep meaning to show MJ some Yelp love! The menu has something for everyone - meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Portions are generous and service is always friendly and welcoming. The shirazi salad is the perfect complement to the koobideh kabob, which is my usual order. I'll have to return to try their baklava!
google avatar

Yelp
Great, fresh food with lots of flavor. Meats and nice and tender. Loved the hummus.

Yelp
I drove to Tysons Corner once just to try this place out. It's tucked away inside the actual mall ( bottom floor past Macys ) but very spacious for lots of seating. I ordered the Combo 1 ( Ground Beef Koobideh Kabob & Chicken Breast Kabob with rice ) as that's my go to whenever I order from Moby Dicks. You really can't go wrong with both as I really savored the Koobideh Kabob and it's seasoning and just the charred taste from the Chicken Breast chunks were satisfyingly to me. They give you a lot of rice with a slice of butter to mix around in. If you plan to eat here, go on an empty stomach. By the time I finished eating, I felt extremely bloated and had to walk around to let my stomach digest for a bit.. that's why the mall is there right? The people there were nice and asked me how was my food where I thought which was nice. They care about people that eat there and it shows that they want to ensure your satisfied with your meal. Good on them for looking out. If there's only one complaint I could make, the music is a tad too loud. Despite moving to another table, it was still pretty noisy.

Yelp
I've been searching for a new kabob spot and a friend recommended me this place. Food was super tasty overall. I really loved the chicken 10/10 it was so juicy and flavorful. The steak was ok - a bit chewy for my likening, my bf got the combo #1 with the ground beef and he loved it. I asked for the green sauce on the side and it was spicy (which I loved). I think this is a solid spot if you are in tysons mall and wanting a good meal. Service was quick, you order at the register and they bring you your meal and they also offer carry out. cons is the price - for two meals, drinks and a side grilled tomatoes total was $67.
google avatar

Guillaume L.

Yelp
I waited almost 5 minutes before anyone greeted me and took my order at the counter. I ordered my food and, after my name was called, picked it up at the counter. However, I noticed that I was charged a Service and packaging fee despite dining in, where no packaging was provided. The owner should be ashamed for charging service fees where no real service is provided! While the price was reasonable, I found the chicken kabob to be quite dry and lacking in flavor, which left me disappointed with the overall experience.
google avatar

Esha Z.

Yelp
Visited today - had a code to get a free appetizer and 15% off. They honored it at the register, It's located next to the Michael Kors so it's right in front of the parking garage where &pizza and dry bar are located. They honored my coupon but upon returning home, no appetizer was in my bag :( ! Also, even with the discount it came out to the same price bc they charge a 6% inflation fee for service and packaging .... Lolll I've never been somewhere that charges a fee for a takeout container, and if you're not dining in there shouldn't be a fee like that imo. Otherwise: The wait time isn't bad, maybe about 10-15 min, which is decent. The kabobs were okay, my sister said it tastes exactly like Moby Dick kabob, even down to the sauces. The portion is decent, the chicken was tender, BUT the naan/bread that they give with the order is so small, you have to ask for green chutney, they don't just give it to you, and I had a missing appetizer. The food is okay, but I wouldn't say it's the best in the dmv, considering there's so many other better places in the area. I probably would not go here again.
google avatar

Dennis T.

Yelp
This is one of the best kabob places I have eaten so far. Despite of what others say, the food is great and very tasty. I love how the food is made to order and they are cooking a lot of the meats right there. I believe the best bet is to get the combo. The combo either comes with your choice of rice or salad. I got the salad with mine and it was still plenty and filling. The service was great and the workers are polite. I got the chicken and koobideh platter and let me tell you, the meats were so juicy and NOT dry at all. The chicken comes in cube/square shapes and it was still filling! I believe the food is great for the price. I didn't think I would finish it but I pushed through and finished the plate. Inside of the restaurant is kind of bare - and seating is limited. There are no seats for a big party - we had 6 ppl but were lucky enough to all fit in a table that looks like it was designed for 4. I would recommend this place!

Yelp
Checked out this new kabob place at Tyson's Corner and it did not disappoint! We ordered the combo 1 with kubideh and chicken and both meats were delicious, super juicy and flavorful! Each combo comes with either rice or salad so we got one with each and both were good options. The salad kept the meal feeling lighter which was nice for lunch. The yogurt sauce was good and the rice didn't taste as buttery as other places. Seating is very limited but it was a nice day so we sat outside which felt significantly less cramped. I would keep party size to 4 or less if you are trying to dine in. A group of 10-12 peoples walked in as we were leaving and that is pretty much all the chairs outside... We'll definitely be back and recommend anyone near by to try it.
google avatar

Penelope N.

Yelp
Maman Joon took over the Cava and it's in a corner that might be tough to find but it's near the Apple store. We got the combo to try with chicken, beef, and rice which was pretty pricey for the plate of food. And there was an odd random service and packaging charge on the receipt. The rice was pretty plain but buttery. They ran out of the green sauce so we only had the yogurt sauce. The chicken was fine texture wise but flavor was also plain. I know this is fast casual but there are many similar restaurants that have better food for the price, especially with Shamshiry around the corner.

Yelp
I drive over an hour to eat here ! The food is the best and the service is impeccable! Not only do the servers remember us but the owner is always so nice and hospitable. The kabob is by far the best around .

Aya R.

Yelp
This review should be negative stars. No clue how this business is rated so high. The food is okay but my goodness is the customer service HORRIBLE. Tony (I'm pretty sure that's not his actual name) is the most disrespectful person I've ever met in customer service. Everyone that ordered after me got their food before me and when I asked where's my food the lady (I wish I got her name) grabbed my bag of food that's been sitting there and she gave me attitude saying my number was called. I was listening the whole time they were calling numbers and they never called mine. When I questioned tony he got in my face and kept throwing his finger around and yelling. I told him to back up and not talk to me in this manner. It's loud and dirty in here as well. DO NOT GO. IT IS HORRIBLE
google avatar

Nina L.

Yelp
Fresh kabob and fluffy rice. Excellent falafel, mast o museer (yogurt with shallots) is the best I've had in DMV.
google avatar

Aarti B.

Yelp
The ginormous Falafel Wrap was very dry and bland and the falafel was very dense. The sandwich fell flat and hummus and feta cheese would have helped to elevate the flavor. The scrumptious fluffy pita baked in a wood-fired oven was the best part! I would skip the wraps and falafel, and get a platter with rice and the pita bread. Not a great vegetarian spot!
google avatar

Ernest L.

Yelp
They charge a "Service & Packaging" fee. It's not posted near the register or mentioned verbally. It just pops up on your receipt after you pay.
google avatar

Yelp
Unexpected find. Located inside a mall. Although we were seeking a restaurant outside, this was a treat. The food was excellent, service was prompt, and the price was fair.

Yelp
This place is a hit! Their chicken kabob was so tasty and tender which can be hard to find. In addition, their Kashk bademjan was delicious considering that Maman Joon is a chain. Their salmon portion is smaller than other places I've gone to and not as good. I was slightly disappointed that the Gheymeh didn't have any eggplant but was still good! Even though it was crowded, they were fast and efficient. I noticed their sandwiches looked delicious, so I plan to go back and try them!!!

Yelp
It's tough to find because it's inside the mall itself on the second floor but on the first floor from the Bloomingdale's entrance. You'll find it across from Michael Kors in the small corner, not on the main strip of the mall. It's hidden in the corner and you'll miss it unless you go down that area. It's a take out spot. Reminds me of an upscale Moby Dick. Very basic menu and everything was cooked authentically. I actually liked it more than Alborz and it's much reasonably priced. They make fresh bread in house and the recipes are true to Iran. The joojeh was delicious. Grilled perfectly and juicy. He enjoyed the Chenjeh combo and I loved mine as well. Very generous portions and delicious. I give the food a solid 4.5/5 and they were friendly so I'll round it to a 4.9. The only issue is they should list it in the maps as being in the mall. They also need to update their menu as many items weren't available. I would definitely like to check out the other location and would come back if I ever plan on going in the mall.

Yelp
Maman Joon in Tysons offers a delightful dining experience marked by its warm atmosphere and friendly service. Our server, Maryam, was exceptionally nice, enhancing our visit with her attentive and welcoming demeanor. The chicken and chenjeh kabob were standout dishes, bursting with flavor, while the basmati rice was served hot and perfectly cooked, complementing the kabobs beautifully. The cuts of meat were top quality and not dried out. The restaurant's cleanliness and organization further added to the overall positive experience. The fast and efficient service made our meal even more enjoyable, allowing us to savor every bite without long waits. The staff's friendliness created a welcoming environment that felt like home. Maman Joon is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Persian cuisine in a casual setting, making it a perfect spot for both quick lunches and leisurely dinners. Maryam's hospitality was the sugar on top to the experience by finishing off our dinner with a hot Persian tea and sugar cubes. Will be returning and telling all our friends!

Yelp
a wonderful spot in the heart of the tysons area for delicious middle eastern food! the service was absolutely incredible, especially team member mariam! she delivered exceptional service for me and my family, and seemed like a kind and patient person too. the outside patio was a little bit crowded, but everyone seemed like they were having a wonderful time. overall would recommend! food and staff are absolutely unbeatable :)

Yelp
Replaced the cava! Persian kabob with a lot of options. Got the chicken kabob with salad and came with pita bread and yogurt sauce. The salad was fresh and chicken was seasoned well! It did seem a bit expensive, but I guess tyson's mall food is expensive...a fountain soda and the entree was $20. there are family options and individual entrees you can choose from so plenty of options!

Yelp
I tried Maman joon kitchen when they first opened and it was ok. I decided to give them another try and now the food is great. The service is fast and employees are very courteous. The ambiance is good to sit and have a quick meal. They also have a nice outdoor seating area.

Yelp
I absolutely love maman joon and has become my go to place. The people are so friendly and kind, and the food tastes fantastic. The chicken kabob is always to die for and it's hard not to eat all the rice! So glad to have this gem in Tyson's!

Yelp
Love the flavor and juiciness of their kabobs! A lot of other kabobs I've had have been dry but that's not the case for Maman Joon :) The staff are also all very friendly and nice! I also really liked the eggplant dip they have as well as their tea! They use saffron sugar cubes My Instagram post! (Fire action) https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cs3jzXZu0vE/

Yelp
Wanted to love this place after seeing what the hype is all about. I decided to give this place a try and left with a huge disappointment. This is was my first time at this restaurant for dine-in. The cashier never explained to me how their ordering system works. After patiently waiting for at least 15mins, my order wasn't ready. At this point, do I wait to for my number to be called to grab my food or are you they going to drop it off at my table. Sorry- but why is there a 15%+ automatic tip upon ordering if we're not being served by waiters? And don't be surprised when you see an additional $1.26 for service and packaging on your receipt. After waiting a total of 30mins, we hear our number being called and finally got our food! We ordered combo #3 which is served with beef chenjeh and chicken breast kabob. The meat tasted pretty bland with barley any flavors or seasoning. It sucks that they don't automatically give you sauce unless you go up and ask. Do they expect me to eat this dry? Heck no. Don't be fool by those influencers who keep promoting this place. I should've read the reviews prior to coming here. Please take your money elsewhere with better food and service.

Yelp
I came here for lunch.. I decided to give in a chance. I ended up getting the chicken kabob sandwich. It was actually really good. The chicken was nice and tender and really flavorful. The white sauce was good, as well as the spicy sauce. The place is super clean and the vibe is nice. I will be coming back for sure.

Yelp
Service was pleasant. Ordered combo 3: 1 chenjeh (beef) and 1 chicken breast kabobs with rice (a pat of butter in top) and a side of flat bread and yogurt. The meats were cooked perfectly. The chicken breast kabob was so juicy and tender. The chenjeh (beef) was done medium well. The green sauce complimented the meats. I also had the yorgut with the meats and on the rice. The yorgut had mint in it, took the taste to another level. The taste was good on both meats and rice. There was an extra charge of $1.26 for service and packaging even though it was dine-in. The atmosphere is very casual. You order at the counter and wait for the number to be called. They have outdoor seating, which overlook the parking lot. There are umbrellas and plants for a comfortable seating environment. This place is located as you enter an entrance on the 2nd floor of the mall across garage A and from Michael Kors
