Miami’s New Restaurant Openings - Miami - The Infatuation

"Maman’s newest location in Brickell is their biggest yet. If the stale croissants and breakfast sandwiches we’ve had at the other locations are any indication, we’d say don’t waste your time. We will give them credit for that chocolate chip cookie, though." - mariana trabanino

Maman Brickell - Review - Brickell - Miami - The Infatuation

We will give them credit for that chocolate chip cookie, though. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Mariana Trabanino

Delicious breakfast options in a lovely environment! I had the matcha latte with an omelet. We sat out in the fresh air with a view of the water. My son loved the waffles, covered in berries with a delectable cream. My husband enjoyed a savory wrap. Overall, the experience was great!

Proscuitto baguette and club sandwich was great. Portion and taste wise both of them pretty good. I wish I can say the same thing for the pistachio croissant type dessert because of the really artificial tasted and colored pistachio filling inside was terrible. Other than that pomegranate juice and their coffees were pretty good. Good staff too. Recommended !

I finally tried maman and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Everything was delicious, but the real standout for me was maman’s breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, melted cheddar, and fresh arugula on warm, fresh bread made it comforting without feeling heavy. Every bite was balanced and satisfying. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a relaxed coffee stop. Service was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The only small downside is that the seating is a little close together, but other than that, everything about this place is great. If you’re in Brickell and looking for a spot that consistently delivers great food in a charming setting, maman is definitely worth a visit.

Maman in Miami is such a special spot! From the moment you walk in, the unique and beautifully curated décor sets the tone it’s cozy, chic, and full of character. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting, making it perfect for brunch, coffee dates, or a relaxed meal with friends. The menu is fantastic, with so many thoughtfully crafted options everything tastes fresh, high quality, and clearly made with care. You can tell a lot of love goes into both the food and the presentation. It’s also a testament to how popular this place is that on Sundays you often have to wait in line just to get seated and it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, a charming vibe, and a truly special café experience in Miami. 💙☕️✨

This is a charming café with a Parisian flair. I was there on a busy Saturday morning so I decided to order a cappuccino and pasty to go. The cappuccino was nicely roasted. I ordered the pain au chocolat stuffed with pistachio. Since I travel to France and Italy often, I know that the French are not a fan of croissants fourrées (stuffed croissants) but Italians are. This stuffed pain au chocolat was the most delicious I’ve ever had. It’s a mix (melange) of a French, Italian and American design. The bread was soft and it was the perfect amount of cream inside. None of the stuffed croissants or pain au chocolat that I have tried in Italy compare to this one. It was much more moist than I’ve experienced. I hope to return and try the full breakfast menu.

Google
Such a lovely little café — cozy, charming, and full of character. Maman really hits the spot when you're craving something fresh and comforting. The pastries are so tempting (and delicious), it’s hard to pick just one! I had the Papa Bowl, which was super tasty and satisfying. You woukd expect it to be overly heavy, but the fresh greens beneath the layers made it refreshing and tasty. Only tiny note — the egg on top was fried and a bit overcooked for my taste (yolk was fully set), and it was pretty small. But still, overall the dish was great! The staff were really kind and helpful. I asked the cashier for a recommendation and she nailed it. I ended up staying for a while — had a slow, peaceful morning working through emails with my breakfast, and the whole vibe was just perfect. Even though it’s counter service, they still brought everything over and were super attentive. And best of all — no sneaky automatic service charge like some other spots! Definitely will return to try a pastryvand matcha latte before my trip is over — it’s the kind of place you just want to settle into and stay a while.

It’s a nice spot with fine decoration. But our experience is ridiculous. We ordered two coffee and a croissant for takeout. The croissant looks pretty but tastes very dry and you can clearly tell they used margarine instead of real cream. Then we waited for 20 minutes for the coffee. It was very chaotic. At last we found out someone else took our order. So they made again for us. However, the girl clearly messed up our order. I don’t blame her, it must be hard to remember the order without the ticket. The problem is she put whole milk instead of almond milk but I’m lactose intolerant. So I asked if she could make again. She did. But out of impatience or time pressure (whatever, I don’t know), she put a ton of syrup and the whole thing tasted like syrup, you can’t even taste the coffee. We ended up tossing it since it’s undrinkable. Overall, I like their ambience but don’t have high expectations on the food and don’t go there if you want a quick grab-and-go.

Google
Here’s a 5-star review you can post for that place: --- This spot is a fantastic addition to the Miami food scene. It has a cozy, inviting vibe and a great concept. I’ve only been once so far, but I’m already looking forward to going back. The food is amazing—you can really tell the quality from the first bite. I tried a couple of their pastries and they were absolutely delicious. And the coffee is excellent. If you're into great food, good coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere, this place is definitely worth checking out. Highly recommended!

Yelp
So thankful for a new coffee shop with a fresh taste! One thing I love about living in Brickell is all the unique coffee shops within walking distance! When I saw maman, I was excited to check it out! I've been here a few times and have enjoyed everything I've ordered. I've tried the blueberry iced latte, papaya matcha lemonade and a prosciutto sandwich which were all great! Food is made to order unless you get bakery items. You are able to dine inside and outside and staff is super friendly and quick! Parking can be a little tough but there are garages and street parking around. Lunch time can be a bit busy but service is quick! I also enjoy that they have a loyalty program!

Yelp
Maman is a solid option for delicious pastries and great food. The service is usually fast and they allow you to bring laptops, which makes sense due to their niche as a café. The coffee orders with any form of milk, cream, or sugar are quite tasty and they do a good job on presentation. HOWEVER, every Maman in Miami needs to start ordering to-go lids that actually fit. I am an avid hot black coffee enjoyer, and I don't want to be worried about scorching myself into looking like emperor Palpatine every time I want a sip of my coffee. Maybe I'm just personally struggling to put the lids on correctly, but it's a consistent flaw I seem to come across. Ratings: Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Chocolate chip cookie: 5/5 Black Coffee: 3/5 To-go: 3/5 Price: Expensive

Yelp
My babe insisted we check this place out and sold me on the avo toast. I eat for nutrition--I like meals that leave me feeling satisfied and provide me with healthy caloric intake for the day. Maman is not that. While the baked goods display is aesthetically pleasing, I'm not quite sure it hits the spot, flavor-wise. We ordered the avo tartine (of course) I added an over medium egg, stick to easy--not quite sure why I went AWOL on this. It was ok, yes just ok. My girl makes a way better avo toast at home. This was more of one of those guacamole toasts which is a huge pet peeve of mine. I also got the chai with almond milk and the cinnamon on it was completely overpowering. I took a bite of my girls blueberry goat cheese scone and it was blasé--dry. However I will say I'm not really a pastry person. I'll defer to her to speak about the Martha Stewart carmel cream sugar bun: "It was insane, like absolute insanity delicious. Good job Martha, well done. It's like a buttercream carmel cake and a croissant had a baby." I tried it... wasn't noteworthy to me, too sweet and remember I'm here for nutrition meets flavor. The service was good and friendly. You order and pay at the register and they bring your food out to you in a print and efficient manner.

Yelp
Amazing baked goods. Loved the pumpkin carrot vegan slice and the chocolate sesame vegan cookie. Care and tlc are out into the bakery case which you can tell sells out quickly.

Yelp
While visiting Miami, we were on the hunt for a breakfast/brunch spot with coffee, Wi-Fi, and food. Maman was just a short walk from our hotel that serves daily quiches, breakfast sandwiches, "make-your-own" omelettes, and coffee. I built my own omelette with ham and cheese. When it first arrived, it was lukewarm and the cheese hadn't melted, but the waiter was really nice and took it right back to the kitchen. A few minutes later, it came back warm and melty. The omelet was simple yet decent. My fiancé had an oat milk latte, and I tried a pistachio milk latte for the first time and I think they're really on to something with that pistachio milk. It was creamy, smooth, and had a mild nutty flavor that I really enjoyed. Also, I loved their decor. The plates and cups had a whimsical French inspired design Maman is a decent spot for a start to the day, if you are in the area.

Yelp
So excited to have a maman here in Brickell! My husband and I went for a little Saturday lunch date on their opening weekend. We didn't call ahead or have a reservation but were able to be seated within 5 minutes even though the restaurant seemed very busy. A great sign considering they just opened. There's a great variety of drink options - brunch cocktails, fresh juices, specialty lattes. I got a fresh orange juice and it was delicious - definitely freshly-squeezed, unlike some places where they might say it's fresh but it's still from a bottle. You can't go to maman and not have a pastry! I loved the pan au chocolate I got, nice and flaky with lots of delicious chocolate flavor inside. For my main meal, I had the "andrea's everything croissant & salmon sandwich" - it was amazing! So much delicious flavor from the seasonings, a hearty portion of salmon so you definitely won't feel like they skimped, and the croissant bun is so crunchy and flaky. The location of maman is great - right across from BCC but tucked away a bit so you're shielded from the main busy street. The area the seating is under gets good shade from neighboring buildings, so you won't be too hot in the summer sun. But of course, there's also plenty of indoor seating if you need some ac. Definitely will be back for a weekend brunch!

Yelp
Excellent sandwich! Love the atmosphere here and the fact that water is easy to get at the self serve stations throughout. Wait staff are incredibly nice and accommodating and present, and ordering is easy. Don't even get me started on the Oprah chocolate chip cookie and other desserts! So good they never last for a photo. Great quality!

Yelp
A friend and I tried the Salted Tahini Honeycomb Latte, and we were not fans so we asked them to remake into just regular lattes. They had no problem remaking them, which I appreciated! We originally ordered 2 large iced drinks, when we got our drinks remade we specified we wanted to exchange them for iced lattes (assuming we would be given a large for both, because that is what I had paid for) And then when our remake drinks were called out we were handed a small iced latte, and large hot. Ended up just leaving, because service was quite slow and did not have time to sit another 10-15 min. Maybe caught them on a bad day, but would not go back.

Yelp
The vibe is immaculate. Such friendly and fast service. The salted tahini latte was perfection with hints of sesame and not too sweet. We got a to go breakfast order and it came out very quickly.

Yelp
Cute ambiance and such great drinks and sandwich options! The steak sandwich and the bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant were delicious. I didn't get to try the matcha myself, but I've heard really good things from others. Definitely a spot I'll keep going back to!

Yelp
Menu options are top tier , service is efficient , and the ambiance is clean and minimal which I love.its exactly what you expect from a bakery/coffee shop. View the menu , place your order then take a number. They have seating indoors and out but first come first serve. Enjoy !!

Yelp

Yelp
Was excited to check out Maman's new location after attending my first ever Yelp Elite event at the Wynwood location. This one is in a great spot, conveniently located by Brickell City Centre. Sitting on the patio is lovely and is a great place for people watching. The service is quick and friendly. I enjoyed my steak sandwich--the bread was so fresh and crispy. You have to try their famous chocolate chip cookie--it's so good!

Yelp
A nice addition to the Brickell bakeries. This is in a prime location and has great indoor or outdoor seating. I didn't get the pastries but they looked delicious. I tried the tuna sandwich and steak sandwich and both were so tasty. The bread was crunchy and fresh and the fillings were made with high quality ingredients. The service was also nice but a bit slow- I'm guessing because they just opened.
google avatar

Olga G.

Yelp
I was waiting for their opening so much, and I am so disappointed that the quality of food and the service leaves more to be desired. The tabbouleh salad came with NO dressing, as in dry . I had to hunt down a server (who was covering too many tables) to bring it out. I had their avocado toast in the design district location - day and night. My avocado toast in brickell had barely any avocado (more of a bruschetta). I am surprised at such lack of consistency across their locations. I really hope they fix their issues fast.

Yelp
Went for coffee and the espresso was so insanely bitter it was undrinkable. The food looked good so we will probably be back for that but the coffee was super disappointing.

Yelp
Extremely Disappointing Service at Maman Brickell I had a very disappointing experience at Maman Brickell. I came in to buy one pastry and a cappuccino, but the cashier handed me two pastries and charged me for both. I immediately told him I had only ordered one and asked him to cancel the extra item. Instead of fixing the mistake, he responded with unbelievable arrogance and attitude. When I asked to speak with the manager, he snapped back that the manager wasn't there and offered no solution, no apology, nothing. The level of rudeness and unprofessionalism was honestly shocking. To make things worse, the pastries weren't even that good. Definitely not worth the hassle or the disrespectful treatment. Brickell has plenty of great places with better service and better food -- I will not be returning to this location, and I cannot recommend it to anyone who expects basic courtesy or competence.

Yelp
Love this new spot in Brickell! Good food, friendly staff and really nice ambiance. Make sure you try the desserts as well!

Yelp
Amazing lunch experience, been wanting to come in and finally did. What a lovely place and the food well it speaks for itself. Is not only gorgeous we do eat with our eyes first. But every bite was delicious and if you are like me that loves rose. Well you are in luck nothing better than a delicious salad with a crispy cold glass of rose. Last a moment for this cube pineapple croissant. Do not worry about getting dirty because it is well worth it. Love it!

Yelp
Excellent food, terrible service. I hope this gets to the owners and brand managers. You have an excellent product--great recipes, great atmosphere, and it's being ruined by the management and their inability to train the staff. Just because it's "self-service" doesn't mean the waitstaff should stand around and not clear tables or upsell additional food and drinks. We were there for a late Sunday brunch--our mimosas took forever, we had to ask 3 times, and had to find our own share plates, napkins and glasses, and there's more that I don't have space to share. Ridiculous.

Yelp
Just shocking how long of a wait to get quality and nice cafes in the Brickell area. For the longest time, Starbucks was the only game in town. Thankfully Crema, Pura Vida and now Maman have opened in Brickell that provide lively and tasty options. Quality and attention to detail are paramount here. Their pastries and coffees are works of art and are delicious. Ambiance is French Country and it''s the most attractive and comfortable place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or a coffee. Maman, looking forward to being a regular. Thank you for opening in Brickell and please put a cafe in Fort Lauderdale!

The Miami Food Edit ..

Yelp
Food, ambiance and service 10/10 -- all the flavors were out of this world and the designs in the coffee cup were honestly my favorite

Alex S.

Yelp
Very nice and quiet coffee shop in the heart of the Brickell. The place is like a green oasis in concrete jungle. The place is perfect to grab a coffee with a friend or surf the web or work remotely as it is very quite and has sort of isolated area. The menu includes standard variety of coffee drinks and baked goods. The coffee is quite good.

Loreen S.

Yelp
This spot is amazing, was in Miami twice in two weeks and I came almost every day it's so good. Beautiful ambiance and delicious food
