Review – Maman Café (NYC) Maman Café is a beautiful and cozy spot that immediately makes you feel at home. The décor is charming and rustic, and the ambience is perfect for anything from breakfast to brunch, lunch, or even a light dinner. They offer plenty of food and drink options, and their coffee is very good —smooth and flavorful. I ordered an omelette, which unfortunately turned out to be a bit disappointing. Since I was sitting outside, they made me order it to go, and it arrived cold and soggy, which really affected the experience. It’s hard to judge the food itself because the issue came from the ordering policy, not the preparation. The staff was kind and gentle, and overall the place has a lovely atmosphere, but I’d strongly suggest they reconsider how they handle outdoor orders —customers sitting outside should be able to enjoy their meal properly served. 📍 Conclusion: Maman Café is warm, inviting, and great for coffee or a casual meal, but the outdoor service policy needs improvement. Still, it’s a place worth visiting for its charm and vibe. ⭐ Overall rating: 7.5/10 ☕ Best: the cozy atmosphere and good coffee. 🍳 Worst: outdoor orders served to go and cold. 💸 Price: moderate for the quality and location.

Went to this place on a rainy December afternoon and the vibe was perfect! The drinks we ordered were fantastic in vintage cups and saucers! Only sour point was no WiFi! 🙃 I understand you don't want people to camp out there the whole day but it doesn't make a good first impression.

I came to this place for brunch on my birthday with a group of eight, and what amazing service! Very attentive, and that wasn’t the best part. The food is delectable. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to all of my friends and family. Thank you for making my birthday breakfast special, Maman! 💕

Had to try the nutty chocolate chip cookie and it didn't disappoint! Delicious dark chocolate with some flaky salt on top. The espresso Martini was not to my preference as it wasn't sweet enough but it tasted very strongly of espresso so it's definitely well made and incredibly smooth. There was light jazz music playing and small conversations so it's definitely a great place to work from.

Breakfast was good. Service was rude, my avocado toast arrived before my coffee , at some point I asked for more sugar and the server slide the sugar over the table, bunch of people on their laptop instead of eating, I don't know,not my type of coffee place. Decor of the place is pretty

The ginger tea is so bland, like tasting hot water. The ceiling leaf decor is also dusty and laptop usage is not permitted. Also a bit confused why I was served in a single use cup even though I was sit-down. Would rather go to the library next time Servers were nice.

We were a very large party all meeting early on a Sunday morning. We called to let them know we were coming and they had a large communal table ready when we arrived! Raul the manager helped wait on our table and even put the orders for the kids in before the adults before I thought to ask knowing that that would improve our dining experience! All of our orders came out quickly and correctly (even with many modifications on some orders!). This was a very convenient, friendly, easy and comfortable place for our large family to gather. Raul is managing this location very well and highly recommend visiting for a quick snack or like us a long leisurely brunch!

I hosted a cocktail party here for about 100 people. A month before the event, I met some of the staff while visiting the cafe. They were helpful and provided me great recommendations for my menu selection. The party itself went better than I imagined. All my guests were impressed with the venue, food, drinks, and their wonderful staff. The planning process was easeful thanks to their event coordinator. I will forever cherish the memories made that night.
