Andy’s Pizza Expands to Foggy Bottom — And More Openings | Eater DC

"I visited maman’s fourth D.C. location in Penn Quarter and found the familiar French‑bakery lineup—nutty chocolate chip cookies, croque‑style "maman" favorites, plus D.C.‑specific items like the Crogel and Youky’s club sandwich—alongside opening‑day promotions (the first 100 guests get goodie bags and free cookies) and a cookbook signing with founder Elisa Marshall." - Tierney Plumb

I was traveling to Washington DC for work and stumbled upon Maman Bakery, just about two blocks from the Grand Hyatt — and wow, what an incredible find! The moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and the smell of fresh pastries was unreal. I ordered breakfast here and everything was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The quality of the food really stood out, and you can tell they put a lot of love into what they serve. This quickly became one of my favorite spots in the city. If you’re staying nearby or just exploring DC, definitely make time for Maman. You won’t regret it! 💯

I had a wonderful experience at Maman. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was truly exceptional. I want to give special thanks to Johan Sebastian, who went above and beyond to make my visit perfect. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made a huge difference. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a lovely environment, and a big appreciation to Johan for his outstanding service. I will definitely be coming back!

I had a wonderful experience at Maman! The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, which made my visit even better. A special shoutout to Johann Sebastian — he was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. His warm attitude and excellent service truly stood out. Thank you for making my visit so enjoyable! Highly recommend this place! 💙✨

We got the steak sandwich and the bread was great, it wasn’t too hard or soggy. The chimichurri really added to the flavor. I got the pumpkin spice latte and it was pretty good, good coffee flavor, but not too much pumpkin flavor. My friend got the vanilla honey butter latte and I would say I would skip out on that one. There were literal chunks of butter and cornbread in it, which were not pleasant. Overall, a cute café and good food options. Wish they had outdoor seating.

This cafe is a beautiful setting in the heart of DC. The seating area is spacious and the display cases are full of delectable pastries. I went for a Papa Bowl and a Cappuccino to start my day. The bowl consisted of roasted potatoes with bacon and arugula and topped with a fried egg and half an avocado. This bowl was flavorful and every item well cooked. My cappuccino was also prepared quite well too. Service was friendly and efficient. Maman is a great spot for breakfast…

Google
Update: went back a week later, someone got the pumpkin pie latte and it was great and exactly what you’d expect. Seems like it’s a place that each barista is going to make a significantly different coffee The pumpkin pie latte (seasonal) is unfortunately devoid of any flavor beyond cinnamon. Not at all sweet, it will need shots of something The vegan tahini sesame dark chocolate was delightful. Great flavor, great consistency, highly recommend. The honey butter latte (seasonal) he got and was thrilled with it, he is a coffee connoisseur and was over the moon with it.

Google
Wonderful, comfortable, and yummy😋 French garden style decor with fresh, healthy, and tasty food options. (They also have some good comfort food items and sweets as well 😂) The cafe is very clean with great positive energy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They are very organized and can move very quickly. Even if there happens to be a long line, they move very quickly. This is a great grab and go place as well as a dine in to relax and hang out. A variety of coffee, tea, and drink options. Their menus are also available online and they do add in seasonal menus as well. Great place for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Google
This is so much better than the regular coffee shop. Wide selection of savory and sweet food, spacious, extended hours. Very good food. My only gripe is the espresso, too acidic for my taste.

Yelp
BEST CAFE IVE BEEN TO! Food was top tier, atmosphere is great for all occasions (hanging out with friends, studying, etc.) and customer service was so nice. Coming back soon!!

Yelp
It's crowded but the experience is what you make it! The interior has such a lovely vibe, it's so welcoming and clean! I was surprised by the large display of sweet treats! The service was good! Not over bearing and they are patient. I ordered the omelette, and honey butter coffee AND matcha. The omelette was tasty, the star of the show was the honey mustard vinegarette! I am a chump for baked goods. I got the olive oil orange pistachio cake; it was good minus all of the pistachio inside. Very nutty and not a strong taste of orange! A chocolate chip nut cookie; it wasn't sweet but it was baked well. A cinnamon bun; it was crispy and layered with a lovely drizzle (I shared it with just about everyone who said it looked good) . The Coffe was so delicious, it was warm and not too sweet just like the matcha, milky and delicious! Beautiful experience especially with good company.

Yelp
Vibe was great! Pastries were not fresh (could tell they pulled them out of the fridge). Food was good, no not anywhere near worth the price ($$$). Ordered a drip coffee and they wouldn't give me a to-go cup to leave with. Overhyped. Not worth the price. This is a bummer 1 and done.

Yelp
Great location conveniently located near Metro Center / City Center / Gallery Place. Maman is a spacious cafe with a great selection of tea, coffee, lattes, breakfast and lunch options and sandwiches, soups, and pastries and baked goods. They have a lot of options and something for everyone. Their lattes had creative flavors and were really good. The sandwich seemed a bit overpriced for the size and amount of steak (Martine's Mediterranean Steak). I had beat the rush hour and it was starting to pick up after noon. Service was a bit stressful - servers were rushing through orders and having difficulty hearing, were pushing through and speaking over each other, and there was no good place to really wait for your order - as I was standing in a line forming around people sitting down and staff hurriedly filtering through and clearing dirty dishes. I'd recommend getting the app so you can just lock up your order for takeout or sitting towards the section in the back corner to avoid some of the bustle.

Yelp
The decor is what sets this place apart. The eclectic tiling and ambiance of this place makes it a great spot for a coffee date or a coffee catch up place. Plenty of seating for two people. The coffee itself isn't that much different than the surrounding offerings and the service could be a bit more organized, but it's still not a bad place to just sit and chat with a coffee in hand.

Yelp
Came here last week multiple times during a conference with colleagues. Each time we loved everything we ordered the drinks were done well and they had some interesting flavors and the food was generous and flavorful. There was just a long line every single time we went for a visit and there is limited seating. Otherwise would definitely recommend to return!

Yelp
I love maman. This place has me a chokehold. Same order, different location. Get the papa's bowl and you won't be disappointed. It's very filling, has protein, starch, veggies, and plenty of flavor. I also enjoy their seasonal lattes. You can also order an alcoholic beverage here and they have seasonal cocktails as well if you're in the mood for that. It does get crowded and stays crowded throughout the day. This location only has indoor seating, and is on the smaller side in comparison to their navy yard and Noma location.

Yelp
This place is great for a light meal. It has a fair amount of seating; however, it tends to fill up quickly on the weekends. I'm not a fan of sitting too close to the kitchen since it tends to leave my clothes smelling like the grill. The chocolate almond croissant is my jam. I also like their honey lavender latte. Other favorites include Papa's breakfast bowl, which comes with roasted potatoes, arugula, bacon, caramelized onions, avocado, egg, and chipotle aioli. I normally ask for my eggs scrambled instead of sunny side up and the aioli on the side. I've also had their Belgian waffles, which are served with guava jam, whipped butter, and powdered sugar. The waffles are nothing special! My grab-and-go orders have been accurate; however, they have messed up my Papa's bowl before, giving me the aioli on the food when I asked for it on the side. They graciously made the dish over though. Overall, this spot is a solid choice for a quick and tasty breakfast. Be prepared for potential crowds on weekends and consider sitting away from the kitchen to avoid any unwanted grill smells.

Yelp
So delicious. French bakery deluxe. Similar to Tatte but cozier. Order baked goods in line. Fall special latte was delicious. Pumpkin croissant cube was like a pumpkin pie in a croissant cube. Blueberry scone was huge.

Yelp
I went for breakfast with friends and got the croque madam, turkey sandwich, and steak sandwich with my group. We also got the hazelnut donut, pistachio croissant, everything bagel croissant, and a mango passionate fruit pastry. The bread quality was amazing for all the sandwiches. The steak and turkey sandwich had very good pesto. The steak sandwich was also drizzled with a herbal butter on top and that was also very nice. My croque madam was very well cooked but the egg was extra. Sadly I did not taste any mustard. The best pastry was the everything bagel croissant. It was flaky and soft. The other pastries were ok. The mango passion fruit pastry was VERY filled and the filling was pretty good and the flavors were very balanced. My fiance got the matcha latte and I got a normal ice latte, it was mostly whatever milk you requested.

Yelp
If I'm visiting DC, I'm stopping at maman. My obsession actually started with their cookbook (highly recommend) but the overall aesthetic and incredible food is what keeps me coming back. I had the quiche Sophie, which has a perfect egg texture with a flakey crust. I also tried one of the seasonal drinks, the vanilla honey butter latte. The sweet corn foam was my favorite part, but I could have done without the cornbread crumbs because they got soggy. I love that they can make your drink half sweet! We easily found a table to chat at and the staff came by to clear our plates when we were done. In my opinion, the food is really the star of the show, but you can't find a cuter place to stop in!

Yelp
If you're looking for a posh coffee/pastry shop to send some time in, this is your place. I visited for a morning snack and found a number of great options. The other guests looked like a mixture of locals and some tourists getting their morning fix. Locals is a welcome site since they know what tourist traps to avoid. While I tend towards places that are more cozy than posh, I can definitely get used to their table service. It kinda makes you want to stay and sip, as opposed to getting your fancy coffee to go.

Yelp
It was just okay. I got the smoked salmon croissant sandwich and it tasted mostly burnt. The kitchen sink cookie was good.

Yelp
We came here for brunch on Saturday around 12:30pm. It was very busy, the line was almost out the door. However it goes by quick, we waited in line about 10 minutes before getting to order. We came in a group so part of our group held a table, I definitely recommend coming with enough people to do that. There is plenty of seating though inside, you will always find a table. The food came out about 10 minutes after we ordered. It was delicious! Everything was very hot and fresh, made to order. We got the egg ratatouille, the breakfast bowl, and a quiche. It was all very delicious, I loved it!!

Yelp
Really cool spot, Food was great . A lot of people were in there during the day and you could tell they were either working remote or working through lunch. So if you are looking for a spot like that, this would be a good place to consider. There is a lower and upper level, so plenty of space. I was there with a party of around 10 and were able to snag one of the larger tables upstairs.

Yelp
Wow what a cute restaurant! We stumbled upon this cafe after walking around union market and I was surprised! The pastries looked amazing! Although we didn't try any this time, we will be back for those. The drinks were tasty 9/10 for an iced matcha half sweet, and 10/10 for an iced chai ! We did try a few sandwiches and that was a hit or miss. My boyfriend order the Jenn's chicken wrap and that was super tasty. I got the smoked salmon sandwich on the croissant and that was not good at all. The seasoning on the croissant was so salty it was almost inedible. I would like to to return, but I think some adjustments could be made for that sandwich!

Yelp
I found this cute cafe on Yelp while searching for coffee shops near my hotel. It was conveniently located just a few blocks away and it's where we ate breakfast every morning while visiting DC. Upon walking in, I was overwhelmed with their beautiful display of baked goods. Thankfully the service was both patient and helpful. We tried their hot mocha, a few of their pastries and their avocado toast. Everything was delicious but their avocado toast was my favorite. Highly recommend

Yelp
What a wonderful gem to find in DC! Friends and I came in for breakfast on a whim, and Maman proved to be the best choice! Though it was crowded when we walked in, we found a seat quickly. I ordered a hot latte and the maman breakfast sandwich. The latte was delicious, and the sandwich DEVINE! It featured caramelized onions, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, and a fried egg. My friend also ordered the Eliza bowl, for those looking for a healthier option. Armando did a great job taking care of us, and even ended our meal with three free cookies (all of which were delicious)! Maman was probably my favorite breakfast spot we visited in the city, and with multiple locations it's a must-try while you're in town!

Yelp
This is a very beautiful full service cafe, and it's quite popular. I would really characterize it more like a restaurant than a cafe. Even before lunchtime they were very busy, and it was quite loud. It seemed like there were mostly people who working nearby, as there were several groups of co-workers. I came here by myself just to order a hot chocolate, and I felt embarrassed that I didn't order more. I saw several three course meals passing me by, and they looked awesome. I also noticed many delicious pastries on display, which to me seemed more suitable for the morning time. This great food smells definitely nicely made me start thinking about having lunch a little early today.

Yelp
I came to Maman right after landing in D.C., and it was such a lovely first stop. The café itself is beautiful, with a clean and calming atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I ordered a matcha latte--it was a bit on the milkier side, but still decent. Nothing too strong, but good enough for a casual drink. It's definitely a nice spot to sit, relax, study, or just recharge for a bit. The vibe is quiet and peaceful, and I'd come back for the ambiance and friendly service alone.

Yelp
Such a great café! I came for breakfast and loved the cozy vibe and self-seating setup! Love that they serve real cocktails, which is rare in a café. Plenty of self-seating, great atmosphere--I'll definitely be back for the pastries! I ordered: - Quiche (Sarah) - Side Salad -Grapefruit Rose Martini--so good!

Yelp
This place is definitely crowded on weekends but it's so good. I came here for pasteries and some coffee with my cousin. I got the tea cake, honey lavender lemonade and chocolate chip cookie to go, which was apparently on ppraw favorite things. The tea cake and lemonade was wonderful. Their iced coffee is great too. It's definitely crowded but the ambiance and decorations are so pretty!! I can't wait to come back here again and get the savory items.

Yelp
average coffee, treats, and food. my partner has a severe nut allergy and they assured us that the cookies didn't have nuts and there was a walnut on it. not enthusiastic to return.

Yelp
Came here to catch up with a friend but a bit disappointed with the service and some of the food. I admit, interior is nice. Flowers and all. Super cute chairs, tables, cutlery and decor. However it gets extremely busy and full. Might be difficult to get a seat/table. I went on a Friday afternoon and had to wait a bit. My friend's breakfast sandwich came and she wanted to wait for my food to arrive for us to eat. It took TWENTY minutes for my sandwich to come out so we were just waiting while her sandwich grew cold. Kind of absurd in my opinion. Nonetheless, when my steak sandwich appeared I was disappointed with how dry and lackluster it was. The sandwich was around $18 bucks but it wasn't as flavorful as it could have been and the filling was just mid. Desserts seem solid though. Had an orange cream filled pastry which was good.

Yelp
Maman is a great place for a girls brunch. There are several locations in DC. The decor is very pretty and insta worthy! We came here during Saturday brunch rush and not surprisingly, there was a very long line waiting to order so I'd recommend ordering ahead for pick up I tried the quiche ($10) and the seasonal iced cherry blossom latte ($8). The portions were not huge so it's on the pricier side. Food and drink were delicious and I like that they have seasonal menus!
google avatar

Yelp
Great coffee, friendly service, super music playlist and incredible pastries are the top reasons to go to Maman. After a disappointing experience the prior morning at nearby Tatte bakery, we knew we wanted to go somewhere else and Maman was nearby and looked good. I'm so glad we went because it was a real treat. Everything looked so appetizing it was hard to limit our choices, but we selected Gingerbread Croissant Cube, Orange Pistachio Olive Oil Tea Cake and Cinnamon Bun Kouign Amann. You may notice a theme that everything is very crossaint-coded with layers of flaky pastry inhabiting most of the baked goods. At first I wasn't crazy about the cinnamon bun, but it grew on me. A couple of the outer layers were a little tough but the inside was amazing. I liked the gingerbread cube although I would have loved a little more filling. The pistachio tea cake was the super star of the bunch....I love me an olive oil cake and if you add orange and pistachio flavors, plus an amazing pistachio cream, then you've got a winner. I am just glad I don't live closer to one of these places because I'd be here eating too much. Definitely recommend coming here for your pastry desires.

Yelp
Just not a good experience. I tried stopping into this bakery cafe and stood in line for a bit, to find it not moving at all, so I came back later. There was still a line and it still moved at a glacial pace. When I finally got to the front, I realized this was because one person was taking orders and then stopping to pull pastries and things. I hope I'm not blowing anybody's mind when I suggest that maybe for a busy downtown kind of place you could hire separate people to take orders and to fulfill them. Setting that aside, the cherry blossom special they had advertised outside their shop they didn't actually have; at the very peak of the season no less. Not cool. my alternative drink was a tea with some London Fog-like foam on top, which was a little weird but was fine. The mouthwatering Nutella beignet delivered about the flavor you'd expect looking at it. However, I also observed some dubious customer service with some parents who were unhappy that their child's bathroom accident wasn't handled well. This place is one of several NY to DC transplant brands, and if you asked an AI to write up the essence of New York, it would probably come up with an experience like this: some decadent finery marred but uncaring service and a lack of cleanliness. Maybe this place can do better on another day and I may find myself in one of their other locations, but they're going to have to do better to get my business.
google avatar

Kristina A.

Yelp
Today was one of those rare days when I actually had the day off from work. My partner and I wanted to give this place a try to see if it's a good place to chill. When we walked in, we immediately knew that it was somewhat formal, and we were both dressed somewhat casually. The service was great every step of the way, but I felt guilty that we didn't order an actual breakfast entre. Some of the breakfast sandwiches that were being brought to other tables appeared to be quite the work of art. The pastries are what I had my eyes on, and more specifically the muffins were definitely the gourmet style. The coffee and muffins were good, and we didn't spend a whole lot of time there. The next time we will come a little bit more prepared for an actual breakfast meal and then some!
google avatar

Erica M.

Yelp
Wonderful spot! I got the cookbook because of a recommendation and loved that we got a chance to eat here. We ordered the waffles and several egg sandwiches- and everything was incredible. This is a good and clean spot for a relatively quick and excellent breakfast.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
The place is beautifully decorated with plants, vines, and flowers all over, giving it a really cozy and inviting vibe. There was plenty of seating, but since a conference was happening at the time, it started getting pretty packed--especially if you were looking for a larger table. When I ordered, the cashier was super friendly and welcoming. I really appreciated how she greeted me and gave me recommendations when I asked. It made the experience feel more personal. The food came out pretty fast, which was great. I got the breakfast sandwich, and while it was really good and filling, it was also kind of messy and a little tricky to eat. The chai latte had a nice flavor too--smooth and just the right amount of spice. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the ambiance and the friendly service. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy a good meal, as long as it's not too crowded!

Yelp
Ugh I've had two issues just this week so I agree with the other reviewer who said that this location does not have the same quality control as others. This one is incredibly busy, which I believe is what leads to the problems of drinks taking a long time to come out, not being made correctly, coming out cool, food not showing up to your table and when it finally does, it is the wrong food. The line is long and they have one person at the register who can move through people quickly. We went on a Monday to get hot chocolates, and both my hot choc and my friend's hot choc tasted like they didn't have any chocolate in them. One took forever to come out. On Friday, I arrived around 9:30am and it was packed, you could barely get a table. I ordered a specialty hot drink and it took about 10 minutes to come out and was cool. At 10:15am I ordered a tuna sandwich and by the time I was getting ready to leave an hour later it still hadn't arrived. I then asked if they could pack it to go and when I got home, I realized they had given me a chicken sandwich instead of tuna. The other time I've been there the wifi wasn't working. It is sad to write this because the other mamans I have gone to have been really good and at this one, the chicken sandwich and cookie were great. It is a super cute spot and they have tons of pastries, cookies and breakfast/lunch options.

Yelp
The restaurant was pretty busy. The omelette was good but looked better than it tasted. The butter for the toast didn't spread easily as it was very cold. Not pictured, were the overnight oats my mom ate. She was not a big fan. They would have been better with fruit.

Yelp
Maman is a notch up from Tatte Bakery. The gooey Chocolate Chip cookies are divine! I enjoyed Papa's Bowl (vegetarian version - minus the bacon!) with a sunny-side up (egg over easy), slide avocado, caramelized onions and kale on a bed of diced crispy hash potatoes and topped with chipotle aioli. The flavors blended really well together with a savory palette. I love crispy hash brown potatoes, but just wish there was another egg and more veggies to balance out the dish as it was loaded with potatoes. While the ginormous Chocolate Chip Cookie was divine when I heated it up at home in the oven (crispy outer layer with a gooey inside), it was stone cold at the restaurant. This was odd as I saw the server take the cookies right off a tray. While I love the vibrant, homey atmosphere (great way to escape the city!) and the meal was good, it was a bit on the pricey side.

Yelp
This is probably one of my fiancé's and my favorite chain restaurants. We visit one every time we're in NYC and lately when we've been in DC. I love how cozy the vibe is and how aesthetically pleasing everything is. It's a casual and cute French spot with good pastries and brunch options. On this visit, we shared the delicious papa's breakfast bowl. My fiancé ordered the Oprah famous maman's nutty chocolate chip cookie. I stole a bite of it and loved how crunchy the outside was and gooey the inside was. I got the almond brownie croissant and found it to be much drier than I had hoped. He got a small drip coffee and I got my all time favorite honey lavender latte. I wish I got the name of the cashier who helped us, but she was incredibly kind and charming. My last visit to a different Maman location was not pleasant, so this one was a delight with such great service. There are plenty of seating options here too which is really nice. I highly recommend coming to Maman.

Yelp
Beautiful corner restaurant with fresh, healthy food and delicious drinks. The line was to the door when we arrived on a Monday morning, though it moved pretty quickly even though there's only one register. There's a huge assortment of baked goods and made to order items. I got the omelette with ham, tomato and Comte cheese. It was perfect. I liked the side salad which was light. I got a side of bacon and it was delicious. I liked that a server brought our food and drinks to our table, though my latte was obviously sitting for a while before it made it to my table. I had a bite of my husband's croissant. It was a little dense, though great flavor. There was tons of seating across two separate rooms for all sized groups and lots of natural light. Great breakfast spot in the city.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped by this past Sunday morning after our run for some casual breakfast foods and coffee. It was quite busy so we had to scout around before finding a table. Maman has expanded a lot in the DC area and it's most similar to Tatte in the sense that the interior is upscale and elegant for a cafe with casual breakfast/brunch options and coffee. ELISA'S BREAKFAST BOWL - 16 The portion size was pretty big, filled with lots of chickpeas, roasted tomatoes, feta, farro, roasted butternut squash with a sunny side egg on top. The breakfast bowl was well seasoned with herbs and balsamic vinegar. It was a bit dense/heavy after awhile, but I didn't mind packing up the left overs to be enjoyed the following day. Overall, felt pretty balanced and tasty but quite rich. PISTACHIO WREATH CAPPUCCINO WITH DARK CHOCOLATE - 6.50 +1 oat milk Way too pricy for a cappuccino (it's also an 8 oz drink) but it's not too sweet, pretty nutty and the dark chocolate ganache was lovely. My only quip is that they did not mix the ganache in the drink well, so most of it was sitting on the bottom untouched. Overall, we enjoyed the food here but found it to be a bit too expensive (not to mention the 10% DC restaurant tax). If I'm in the area wanting a coffee or a casual breakfast bite, Maman will be one of my options.

Yelp
I came in for a quick cafe lunch and after a bit of a wait, had a tahini honeycomb latte and warmed up turkey swiss on croissant. I got a chocolate chip cookie to go as well because it looked so good in the display case.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food! The line might get long but it goes by quickly so the wait is never long. There's also plenty of seating, always a table available which is definitely nice on weekends. The food itself is delicious and well worth the money, since portions are pretty large. Overall, lovey place with such a friendly staff and fantastic food!

Yelp
Aesthetic delightful cafe in the middle of Penn Quarter. They have cute rustic tables and decor in the middle of flowering trees. It feels like a little getaway from the city. Treat yourself before your walk to the art museums in DC. Everyone says to try their blueberry feta scone, it is so good and quite large. I also had their quiche, soy latte and tiramisu brownie (a bit too sweet and dry for my liking). They also have hot sauce on the side if you want to jazz up your savory pastries. The latte is good and comes in an antique provincial cup. Their small size latte is also a big portion. The service is quick, you order at the front and grab a number for sit down orders.

Yelp
This is a very good restaurant. The menu is definitely worth looking at before going because it's very eclectic, but enjoyed it.

Yelp
I'm a new fan of Maman after trying the Union Market location a few times. This Downtown/Gallery Place location gets just as busy and may actually even be a little busier. Despite the line and the fight for a table, the food is just as tasty as the Union Market location. I normally get the Papa's Breakfast Bowl with a fried egg and a seasonal latte or iced coffee. Both my food and drink were goood! They have hot sauce at the stands around the restaurant and the bowl is filling likely because of all the potatoes. I also normally get one of Oprah's favorite cookies, I think they're walnut and chocolate chip but whatever they are, they don't last long once you heat it up a little and have it with a glass of milk!

Yelp
I had the steak sandwich and the yorkie club added the basaltic salad. It was very tasty BUT the vanilla marshmallow cookie was the best I had to order one to go all and all service was good and place very clean and cute

Yelp
Stopped here on a Saturday afternoon and it was very busy! They were quick to take orders and very kind but it was a little difficult to find a spot to sit, so be warned. They had plenty of delicious food and drink options but I landed on Elisa's breakfast bowl which was hearty and fresh with an egg for extra protein. I also got the tahini latte which was a seasonal beverage and it was so good! Will definitely stop by again.

Yelp
Had just landed from a long 6 hour red eye and brunch was what I needed. My bestie brought me here saw that it had good reviews so we decided to try it out. The place is cute and small very narrow. We went on a Saturday morning so it was crowded. We waited about 20 min not bad. We sat down in the back patio which we loved. Unfortunately our waitress/ food runners we're extremely RUDE. I understand it's busy but when you are in an big city where people come and go you expect to be greeted and treated decently. One of the female waitresses was so rude when we asked for water she rolled her eyes. Which made us wrap it up and leave. The food was great. Ordered the waffles and the potato bowl. Would I come back maybe to go but definitely not to stay and eat. The negative vibe from the employees is not welcoming. Customer service is everything and they did not provide that. Food wise delicious.

Yelp
There has been pretty consistent quality across all the mamans I've been to thus far. Really great and pretty pastries and a standard selection of beverages. This location is also great in terms of Metro access and seating capacity. It's a little loud for quiet working but what can you do?

Yelp
Came here at around 11:30 for lunch and it's definitely packed already. If you plan on grabbing a spot come early. Tried the Andrea's everything croissant and smoked salmon and it was di vine. Their interpretation of a button using croissants and everything bagel mix was delicious and I could not put it down, even though I was trying to watch my carbs. Their coffee was also spot on as they serve it with your grandma's china.

Yelp
Food - had the breakfast maman and the Salmon lox croissant. Both were good. I likes the brioche bun on the bfast maman. Also had the original chocolate chip cookie and that was good too. Service - order and get a number and find a seat. Buspeeps clean up fine. Ambiance - a simple clean looking ambiance with notes of Le France. Verdict - good and can recommend you try at least once.
