sooooo happy to be having food from my country (DRC) in chicago!!! the hosts were so kind and jovial. the food tasted just like how my mom makes it. great congolese music and drinks like vitalo as well! they do not yet serve alcohol so get your alcoholic drinks before or after if that’s what you’re looking for. i genuinely want everyone to know about this placez whether congolese or not, i can almost guarantee you will find the flavours are rich and delicious. and the price is very decent considering im sure many of these goods are imported from back home! you get that good authentic quality taste. food also came out decently fast - maybe 10-15 mins max which in my experience of african restaurants is very quick. still tasted good though! i got it to take with me to the airport back to toronto, that’s how good it was 🤣
PS the restaurant is now named chez lisa loboka!! i hope they update it on google soon so no one else gets confused bc i was
