Mamas Pizza

I called before hand to ask about the price of the buffet. The lady who answered wasn’t very welcoming. We decided to still go in from out of town. The service was still dry/rude. The salad bar was low on many things and the pizza was good but wasn’t great. Definitely was no better than going to Cicis. They only had maybe 4 pizza flavors at a time too and they were all VERY similar. Was not worth the money. We won’t be back. The restaurant was very clean though.

This location could definitely use some improvement. From the pizza to the customer service. It's above average, but other pizza parlors have captured my taste buds.

This used to be the best pizza in burleson… not anymore!… I usually avoid the buffet ( it’s never really been their best effort in pizza quality) I always order a fresh one, I always get the same thing, (double cheese, double pepperoni, double Italian sausage).. my pizza today had barely any cheese on it. When I pointed it out to the person behind the counter all they had to say was “sorry bout that”… if my experience today is what mama’s pizza has turned into, I highly recommend you avoid it!

Lunch buffet! First time here. Surprisingly dead. Plenty of great pizza, dessert. AMAZING salad bar. Please try this place out! I will definitely be back

Never have any specials or deals. They always charge full price and that’s such a rarity in the pizza industry. I would LITERALLY eat here once a week if I could get a decent price on a carry out special or SOMETHING. It’s not this location Mamas Pizza as a whole have been passed by with all these other wonderful pizza spots offering better pies at a significant drop in price. Maybe the ownership group should reasses their product and price. Maybe idk go eat at a few other spots to see how far folks have passed you by.

Ordered from here for the first time and was very disappointed. One small and one mamas size pizza was $48, they missed toppings on one pizza and when we got home and called they took no ownership for messing up the order and wouldn’t give a refund. They offered to remake it and when we asked if we could use it another day they said no so we had to drive all the way back to the restaurant to get another pizza. The quality of food is no where near worth the hassle.

The pizza is fairly decent but the prices are too high for the quality. I wouldn't have expected nearly $70 for two pizzas (one didn't even have toppings). Price isn't the end-all-be-all, but it's not special enough that I'll come back when there's other pizza places nearby that have similar quality for better prices.

Mama's Pizza left me with mixed feelings, warranting a 3-star review. Opted for the lunch buffet but left underwhelmed. The pizza crust didn't suit my taste, detracting from the overall experience. Disappointingly, the selection was limited to just four unconventional options, lacking the classic choices I expected. While some may appreciate the unique offerings, it wasn't to my liking, and I won't be returning. Mama's Pizza may have its fans, but it missed the mark for me, failing to meet my expectations for a satisfying pizza buffet.

We came in for the lunch "buffet" . To say it was lacking is an understatement. The girl at the counter was not very pleasant and the pizza was just sad. We will not be back

If I could give this place 3.5 stars I would. Every time I eat here is consistently good with only a few times being mediocre. You get your pizza decently fast and it's served on a metal plate with one of those triangle tools made for scooping up pizza slices. The decorations are cool although kind of off topic. I also wouldn't recommend the small pizza or the buffet. Overall it's a nice place not as good as yarael poof though.

It's just inconsistent. Sometimes it's great. Last time I ordered through their website (last Thursday) and picked up at exactly the time we requested. $130 worth of pizza, ice cold and undercooked soggy crust.

Pizza looked and tasted delicious, friendly staff, great customer service and restaurant was very clean!

The last 2 times we have ordered pizza here the pizza and breadsticks were not done and very doughy!

Went in to order pizza and was told 20-25 minute wait, 40 minutes later we got our pizza and while waiting on pizza we observed the cooks making pizza without gloves on! Girl making pizzas was wearing gloves but the guy making pizza was just digging into the cheese and other items without glove. They need to be reported for this action. I mean come on shouldn't they be wearing gloves!

Delicious pizza at an affordable price! The mamas size pizza feeds our family of five for TWO meals. The staff is very friendly. The pizza comes out hot with fresh ingredients.

Horrible customer service. Way too expensive and they got my order wrong and refused to correct it. They blamed DoorDash?! DoorDash delivers, they don't make the pizza.

$30 for a medium 13" pizza two drinks and sauces? Yea won't be back. Waited 20+ minutes for it when we were the only customers that hadn't been served in the restaurant. Also when I've been waiting a while and I see 4 employees standing up front with their phones out doing nothing, and there's dirty tables all around

Ooh this is the best pizza in Burleson (Mansfield location is Great too) We usually request it crispy so they leave in a few more minutes. The wait time here can be a little long as this is a pretty busy location but it's worth it.

The pizza was amazing, the slices were cut perfectly, everyone ate it well. It was served piping hot, and we ate it inside the restaurant.

I don't know why the reviews for Mamas are so bad I have been going to 1 mama's or another since I was about 12 years old and I am no spring chicken now. I saw a review that said they has to pay for each item. I have never done that. They have a combo which is most if not all of the meat and veggies. They also have a veggie pizza which is all of the veggies. You could order either of those and subtract items instead of ordering every single item separately. I think mama's pizza is the best pizza I have ever had. I have driven miles to get 1 before they were in Burleson I use to have to go to Berry St. in Ft Worth to get them. Please don't put them out of business with bad reviews I don't want to have to go back to ordering from Berry St.

I'm a first time mama's pizza goer and I have some thoughts. The pizza is good and the pricing was fair. Though I don't particularly agree with having to pay for each topping you want. The regular salad was a plate of chopped iceberg lettuce and 2 cherry tomatoes. 0/5 stars for that. Also, they were out of tea, the water was broken, and all of the flavorings were out.

Overpriced ($30+ for 2 medium pizzas and 4 ranch dressings) and I woke up with diarrhea but it was soooo good! I love the crust especially! We got BBQ chicken and pepperoni

When my husband and I walked in, they told us if we were okay with there being a 30 minute wait for pizza. We told them we were. We appreciated them telling us there was a wait. What we don't appreciate is still not having our food 1 hour and 9 minutes later. All we got was a 2 topping medium pizza. I will update once we get our food and if it was worth waiting. An hour and 30 minutes later, we told them we wanted a refund. They were nice about it. The manager apologized, offered us 2 free large pizzas. We declined the free pizzas and told him all we wanted was to go.

Delicious mouth watering thin crust pizza! Great for a pizza and movie night! The take out was fast and accurate!

This is my my wife and I's new favorite Mama's Pizza! Clean store, fun atmosphere, amazing pizza that is personally my favorite anywhere. Cleaner and newer than the other locations I have been, similar to the exceptional North Richland Hills Location. Has clean bathrooms to boot!

Tried Mama's for a second time after failed/burnt pizza the first. So suspect about pizza we went for subs. Huge mistake, these subs were honestly the poorest excuse for a sub we have ever had. The ownership of this establishment in Burleson should be beyond embarrassed. Second time, both times food quality was poor, pathetic. People work hard for their money and when they go out the least they should expect is quality of the food provided. This was not done at Mama's.

Tried the pizza for the first time. Not something I would do again. We did the buffet so we could try all the different pizza. To doughy the right amount of sauce. My husband enjoy the thin crust. But my cup of tea

I don't know who owns this franchise, but they need to get their crap together. Just ordered a large pizza, doesn't matter what toppings. The crust was burnt!!! Totally inexcusable. I've seen many more bad reviews

I wish I had gone to Mama's. Yesterday on my birthday I decided to try a new place in town that had a 5 star rating and really great reviews. I was so disappointed. Mama's is so much better. The only thing that would make Mama's better is if they had Tiramisu for dessert and some vegan shreds for my son.

Delicious food. Nice staff. I had no issues placing an order over the phone and it was ready for me. Really cute dining inside. Will try eating there next time. Their pizza also reheats well!

I love the chicken Alfredo and Chicken bbq pizza! I would definitely recommend these two! It's definitely worth a try!

When we moved here a year ago we tried many pizza joints looking for our go-to place. We drove as far as Fort Worth....but nothing could beat mamas. The sauce is marvelous, the crust is chewy and perfectly cooked and it's just a decent pizza. I crave it weekly, even though I'm on a pretty tight diet, it's my twice a month cheat meal! So yummy! Happy we found it right up the road from our home in Burleson.

We came to dine in at 8pm and before we ordered the lady in the register said that the dine in is closed,only carry out is open. The sign outside says business hours 11am-9pm for Thursday so we go ahead and place our order for carry out. It took 1hr for our order to be ready. They were not busy. So just a heads up arrive two hours earlier than closing time if you plan to dine in.

2 stars because the salad bar at lunch was good... but for a pizza place for the salad to eat outshine the pizza, that's pretty sad. The pizza was ok, just kinda cold, doughy and chewy, not the way I prefer it.

First time here, and this place is phenomenal in every aspect. The food was delicious. The service was outstanding, very friendly environment to come relax and enjoy. Definitely will be back often.

It took forever to arrive and was probably the worst pizza I've ever had. I was really looking forward to Mama's Pizza opening in Burleson because I remember the pizza being great at the Fort Worth location. We finally ordered pizza from there tonight and it's so bad. The crust is like greasy cardboard - absolutely tasteless. Toppings are mediocre. Without exaggeration, I can say frozen pizza would have been more enjoyable.

I normally LOVE Mama's pizza. I was so excited to see one in Burleson since we just moved here. Talk about disappointment my family sit down to eat, ordered a pepperoni and green olive pizza, like we always do at the other Mama's. First off, salad is not iceberg lettuce and ranch. It needs much more to be called a salad! The lettuce wasn't even green anymore! We eat that while waiting for our pizza. I'm used to waiting a bit for my pizza at Mama's. It was done rather quickly. I start off by giving my 3 and 4 yr old their pizza first. I had to feed my 4 month old baby before I could eat. They ate all of their pizza. I finally got to eating my slice. Got 2 bites in and realized it was totally raw!! So disgusting! My husband hadn't noticed because he puts ranch on top and eats really fast. He had eaten 2 pieces by then. I asked for our money back since we had over half a large pizza left. We had no problem paying for our salad and drinks. Since we did eat and drink those all. But the manager refused. He lied and said they aren't part of corporate then said he called them already. Raw dough can and WILL make you sick as I told him. He said I don't give a f! This was a huge deal and he was the most rude person I've met in a long time! I didn't want him to make me another pizza, I wanted a refund. We left and had to go to taco casa to actually eat! My husband threw up in their parking lot. The next day my 4 yr old got VERY sick then my 3 yr old. I had to take my 4 yr old to the hospital and he was diagnosed with food poisoning. They were sick for a week from this!! Throwing up all night and needed to wear pull ups so they wouldn't poo their pants! We did contact corporate and spoke with someone. He sent us our full refund by mail and gave up big apologies. That doesn't help my kids feel better! We will NEVER eat there again. They make Mama's pizza look bad. I filed a complaint with the BBB and with the health department. Looking into a lawyer as well. Eating raw flour can kill you! CDC says to NEVER consume raw flour! Wish I had a picture to show how raw this was. It was as stringy as the cheese!!

Burleson. Love the Combo! Live the crust! It gets a bit doughy in the middle on very large pizza however! Love the thin crust!

I really wanted to like this place. I heard good things since it opened but I didn't have a good experience. When we got there for dinner I was told it was a 25-35 minute wait for a pizza, which was fine. The place was busy. We sat down with our drink and waited, and waited. At 40 mins (I used the receipt timestamp) I asked about our order. I was told it would be right out. Then I start seeing people that came in and ordered after us get their food. So at about 47 mins I asked the manager, an older gentleman. He said "yeah we're running at about an hour right now" and blew me off like they were still within their timeframe. A few mins later he brought the pizza and said "Here you go. Right at 45 minutes." Well no, first off it was well over 50 minutes and I was told 25-35. So it was made out to be like I was being unreasonable. The people beside me also had to go ask for their order and weren't happy. By this time the place had cleared out considerably. All we ordered was a medium pepperoni. My daughter liked the pizza but it wasn't worth the hassle. Little Brothers was much better, we agreed. I like the atmosphere but the service was unacceptable. My biggest pet peeve is when people that come in after me get their food long before I do with no concern from management.

It's the worst pizza I have ever had . From a pizza that that doesn't use real mozzarella and toppings were old. The employees were extremely rude not sure why just unpleasant people.Hire new employees and make a real pizza. So if you want fake pizza that tastes about the same call dominos,papa John's , or Little Caesars

Pizza was good, just came out in two different times when ordered together. Was told 30 mins, came out at 50 mins but not that big of a deal due to being with my kids and granddaughter. Issue, a medium cauliflower pizza with 3 toppings at $20+ each, really. Looked online and it's not an option. I will be more aware of the menu items and call a halt to and "outrageous " priced pizza. Bought a 7 inch pizza, a medium combo pizza, 2 cauliflower crust pizza's with a drink and a pitcher of beer, $93.50. Never thought I would spend a $100 at a pizza place with only 4 people at our table. For that price we could go eat steaks. Pizza is good, service is so so, but the price kills it.

Idk why this place is only rated at a 3. I've never physically eaten there, but I moved to Burleson in January and have had it SEVERAL times. Obsessed with the chicken Alfredo and everyone I've encountered has been friendly service wise. Best pizza I've had near here!

Mama's pizza is one of our favorites and we were so excited to find this one! The pizza was fresh and they know how to do toppings properly! The staff was so friendly and the entire restaurant was immaculately clean. We definitely will be frequenting this one!

It was a party of 14 and we all met up we had ordered our food separately and told us it would be a 45 minute wait. We where ok with it got beers and waited. 1 hour later we got our pizza but with no wings. I then went to talk to the cashier to get a refund and basically ignored my request and found the wings in the oven and they have gave them to me to go. I did not want them anymore so my husband went and asked for a manager. The manager then came up and told us why we did not ask for the wings in the first place like it was our fault. He argued about giving me a refund with a attitude. I will never go back to the Burleson location after this visit.

To all you folks leaving bad reviews...shame on you! Mamas pizza is badass and busier than most places, oh and don't forget they opened on the backside of whether you should wear your mask or not. If your complaint is about service or timeliness gtfoh. They're busy because people want to eat there and they seem staffed just as much as the rest of the restaurants around here that have also SHUT DOWN certain days of the week. I've ordered from there at least 8-10 times since they opened and haven't in the slightest been disappointed. You foodie wanna bees need to find a new gig. Restaurants are different now for the time being. "I ordered my pizza 30 minutes ago and I see other people getting their pizza before us" Ya get over it because you don't know how many togo orders there are and there's only soooo much pizza oven space, you know Door Dash and the like....it's not all about you all the time, just stop! Be better customers and they'll be good to you in return.

Great pizza. Friendly staff. Greeted me right when I walked in the door. My son got their gluten free crust and was very pleased. Thank you for thinking of the gluten sensitive peeps. We will be back.

Their thin crust is very tasty. I'm so happy that they understand what "extra cheese" is. I love the buttery garlic flavor of the crust, it isn't overwhelming. So happy they are in Burleson!

Not a good first visit. Called to place to go order, was put on hold and left there. Had to hang up and call back. Went ahead and placed order. When I arrived at restaurant my order was wrong. Didn't want to wait 15-20 minutes to cook another pizza. Got a really average "sorry." Took what they had cooked and left.
