The 7 Best Restaurants In Anacostia - Washington DC - The Infatuation

"Walking into Mama’s Pizza Kitchen is like stepping into an antique store that serves great pizza. Old pans, dishes, and wicker baskets line the pale yellow walls. People are constantly running in and out, mostly to grab jumbo slices that taste good even if you haven’t spent all night in Adams Morgan. Order at the counter or call ahead if you don’t have time to wait. The menu says they only come in cheese and pepperoni, but you can add whatever toppings you want, and they have whole pies, too. There are a few tables and chairs, so you can hypothetically eat here, but we recommend grab-and-go." - Tristiana Hinton, Omnia Saed

First Trip: I ordered a Medium Pepperoni / Sausage / Onion pizza. Mom & Pop style with the crumbled Italian sausage well seared. Perfect crust also! Will add this place to my rotation...... 2nd Trip: Tried the Grilled Buffalo wings plain, and the Mozzarella Sticks, both good!!!!! I would suggest a "Pizza Sauce Change" it tastes great with onions on the pizza but does register as "Too Sweet" without onions........... 3rd Trip: Meatball & Cheese sandwich, I have words like: Great, Elevated, Craft, and Bespoke!!!! If its been awhile since you licked your fingers during a meal, THIS MIGHT BE THE ONE!!!!!!!!

I ordered for pick up. When I showed up the mean old woman behind the counter acted like I was making up the fact that I had gotten a text message telling me to come and pick up my pizza. Then a guy popped out of the kitchen and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. So I waited and waited and waited. 25 minutes went by and the mean old lady behind the counter gave me my pizza but without so much as a word of acknowledgment that I had had to wait for a long time. And then I got home and ate the pizza and I think they must’ve rushed it or something because the dough was undercooked. And I don’t like their sauce either. It’s too sweet. So, I won’t be going back to this place. I don’t mind if a place makes a mistake, but don’t blame the customer for it. And don’t be mean to your customers.

Google
That’s one of the best New York style pizzas I have ever had. I recommend pepperoni slice which is massive size and most importantly delicious. The only minus is dining area which could be maintained in more clean condition.

Google
Made an online order and they closed and locked the door. I arrived 2 min after my order was to be complete @ 11:48. Guy at counter literally looked at me through the window and ignored me. Called and he ignored the phone call as well. Had to bang on the window for him to realize I am picking up a completed order. Guess he wasn’t in the mood to communicate or do his job…

My family and I had THEE worst experience ever! This restaurant gave us food poisoning. We ordered a Hawaiian & pepperoni pizza. When we woke up the next morning we were all running to the bathroom this lasted from Sunday til Monday evening. Monday evening we had fevers and the sweats. Even now our bodies are tired and we can barely eat. When we called to tell them they hang up on us 0/10 !!!

Google
Wings are delicious. They’re not fried and very saucy. Cheese garlic bread looked more like thin crust white pizza. No bathroom. High top tables in store. Counter service.

Nice people but I have never seen flies that big in D.C until I went inside of the establishment. There so many it discouraged me from ordering.

Where are the owners...haven't seen them the last 3 times I went...the employees are ruining this place. Dry pizza, no sauce, just threw pepperoni on there... bread and cheese...thats it!

Yelp
First off, this place has won my heart for its commitment to community service and its authenticity! Customer service: done with a smile! I was greeted from the moment I walked up to the counter and felt comfortable giving my order and asking questions. Ambiance: I'm a New Yorker and this place reminded me of some of my favorite spots in Harlem, those mom and pops shop that had the BEST chef in the back making some exclusive dishes. That now leads to my food Food: I ordered the chicken Caesar salad sandwich with an extra side of dressing. Well, here we have it ladies and gentlemen, this place should have been in the running for one of the best sandwiches! Why? They make their OWN bread-all of which was buttery soft! Next, the sliced chicken breast was seasoned in every bite and the Caesar salad was divine! The combination worked perfectly together to create a rich, succulent, and delightful sandwich! Would I be back again? YOU bet your last dollar that I would. And I'm actually going to try a slice of pizza and possibly their banana pudding. Thank you Mama's for the service that you do east of the river. The delicious food that you make and the quality services that you provide. Nobody compares and I'm a huge foodie!

Yelp
We were looking for a good pie not from our usual (L- o's). So I pulled up on the Ave. Yep just a few minutes from home. Something new, and wonderful. Doesn't look like it from the outside BUT... We called in our order on the way so we arrived way before our pie was ready. 20 minutes was actually 30 for the wait, on a Thursday night. The young lady at the register was pleasant and friendly. She complimented my earrings and was smiling. On the Ave, IYKYK. The PIE?! Omg... the topping were definitely fresh and piled on. The sauce was phenomenal. If you know pizza then you know what I mean. And the deciding factor on why this is my new go to pizza spot is the CRUST! Firm, chewy, crunchy. Done right! We had ordered the medium because we were unsure about the taste/ quality/ etc. I was immediately disappointed because I had to share. I could have EASILY consumed that deliciousness all by my lonesome. There are a lot of tempting things on the menu including wings. We had a small order with blue cheese. They were very good as well. I will definitely be making another trip in the near future for the pie. Pizza is the best part of life and you haven't lived if you cheat yourself out of trying this spot. Oh yeah ... you can buy a slice here too.

Yelp
My job is fairly close to here and I forgot my lunch so I decided to try out a new restaurant around me. I have been hearing about the pizza however I ordered lasagna and wings. The lasagna comes with cheesy bread, sort of like a mini cheese pizza and the wings come with blue cheese or ranch. Unfortunately I was not impressed by the lasagna as it lacked flavor and meat. It was supposed to be a meat lasagna, but there was minimal protein just a lot of cheese. I will say it was a large portion. The wings also disappointed me as they were very crispy and also just somewhat burnt. I will say, mama herself is a pleasure. And many people in the neighborhood seem to know her and love the pizza. If I go back, I will definitely try the pizza.

Yelp
Ok now!! I'll start by saying I am NOT a lasagna fan. It either has too much cheese or the sauce is off, etc. BUT my pregnant self woke up thinking "u know what would be great?!?! LASAGNA...from a random place you've never heard of". Lo and behold, this may change the game for me!! This is the first lasagna I truly felt had a nice balance of ingredients and every ingredient was well seasoned/prepared. It was doing what it needed to do!!! Id definitely order again. Unaware that the lasagna came with cheese bread, I ordered garlic bread separately. The bread it comes with is just cheese bread - no seasoning and a bit dry. The garlic cheese bread was tasty - nice blend of cheese and garlic - but too thin so it doesn't stand up to reheating well. That lasagna tho...it's a banger!

Yelp
Ordered from Uber Eats. The driver had two orders and didn't know what ordered belonged to who because there wasn't a receipt or a name on the boxes, so I opened someone else's pizza to see if the order was mine. Also, the boxes were not taped closed. Lastly, I ordered a large pizza but received a medium.

Yelp
Cooked with love. Point. Blank. Period. The banana pudding! OH EM GEE!! The cookies are at the bottom making it a nice balance between pudding, bananas, and cookies. Just how I like it!!! A million out of a million! Hands down! The pizza was great too! Super doughy and filled with toppings! I love the history of this restaurant, especially since this used to be considered a rough part of the city especially back in the 80s. Even through gentrification, this spot is still standing and it's a loved staple in the community by the original locals who still frequent this place. I can't tell you about parking because I walked with my colleague who is a native and still a local of the area. Gentrification is real and it's apparent; I had to say that because a lot of these residents and even businesses are being driven out due to rising costs of living in the area. It's a beautiful area with so much history and culture; I can feel it. Chocolate City. 10 out of 10.

Yelp
The best pizza in SE D.C. that I've come across since moving down here from NYC. I always get the cheese slice.

Yelp
Mama's is a great little place to grab food from for lunch. It's one of the few restaurants in SE so that alone makes it precious! There's a good variety of menu items from pizzas to pastas. I had ordered the beef lasagna for lunch and made sure to call in my order. It takes about half an hr for the lasagna so you know it's not something that's been sitting underneath a warmer or quickly tossed in the microwave. Lasagna is a pretty decent size for $10 and came with bread which was a nice surprise. You could easily make this into 2 smaller meals if you wanted to. The lasagna was HOT (temperature wise) which is the beat way to eat a meal! Flavor was decent, lots of sauce/cheese and for $10, I was pretty happy with my order. Photo doesn't due this any justice, come try out the lasagna for yourself! Staff was friendly, pick up was easy and prices are good. Overall a good experience, would come again.

Yelp
Go to for pizza across the bridge. Wings are baked and are great to pair with pizza. Parking is a chore!

Yelp
What a lovely garden! Sitting outside is a joy And pleasure. Much better to dine in than take out. Be sure to come for the $11 lunch specials.

Yelp
Thank you. The food is always excellent - I have yet to try everything, but consistently really good. Chicken wings, pepperoni slices, homemade bread, lasagnas w/extra cheese, the spinach pizza...

Yelp
I pass by the spot almost daily, and every time I do..I see a plethora of people in there. So you know that sparked my curiosity, plus...it's a pizza joint! My favorite food!! I slept on the spot, thinking that it was just a average corner pizza joint. I was wrong...wayyy wrong. When I walked into @mamaspizzakitchen located at 2028 M.L.K Jr. Ave., S.E. Washington D.C. I IMMEDIATELY knew that there was something special about this place. . . . Everything that you can imagine a corner store pizzeria place has is there. A simple menu that starts off with pizza. A medium here is $10, a large $12, and the extra large is $14. Toppings (mushrooms, extra cheese, pepperoni, sausage, spinach etc..) range from $1.50 each-$1.75 each. Specialty pies are available or you can create your own. Their appetizers include mozzarella sticks, cheesy garlic bread, slaw, even baked beans. Salads are here, a couple of wing options are here, a spinach, or cheese, or meat calzone's are here. They have a spinach sandwich, a meatball sandwich, an Italian sandwich...even pulled pork and/or chicken bbq sandwiches are here. Pasta?? Lasagna. That's it. . . . Let's get to it...I copped their specialty supreme pizza (pictured medium, with onions, black olives, pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, and mushrooms $15.99), their Caesar salad (pictured with housemaid croutons $6.50), and Mama's Beef Lasagna (pictured with garlic cheesy bread $9.99). . . The Salad...DELICIOUS!! Those homemade croutons made a difference to what otherwise is considered a standard salad. . . The Pizza...STAMP!! I was delightfully surprised at how fresh the ingredients were. Being a pizza aficionado, fresh ingredients are what makes a delectable pie. THIS PIE WAS THAT!! . . The lasagna...STAMP!! There was a tinge of sweetness in her marinara. Thinly sliced lasagna noodles, and crumbled beef equated to a DELICIOUS BIG SCHLIM LITE POCKET MEAL!! With the added cheesy garlic bread...scrumptious!! . . Customer service was welcoming, online ordering, and navigation was easy, delivery is available with a $20 minimum, cleanliness was decent, & parking was tumultuous. Go surprise yourself... That's it. #bigschlimsreviews #litepocketmeals

Yelp
A month or so ago I went to Mama's Kitchen to meet a friend for lunch; the restaurant is located at 7601 Fordson Rd, Alexandria, VA 22306 · Although the food is good I was disappointed in how I was treated by the owner as well as to have my suspicions confirmed regarding her feelings toward Black people. Upon entering the restaurant, waiting in the foyer for a few minutes, I noticed the owner to my right through the glass sitting at a side table with another lady. She saw me enter and looked away and continued to her conversation with her table mate. Initially, I didn't think anything of it, since I assumed another employee would seat me soon. After standing there waiting to be seated, another gentleman entered (White man), and to my surprised the owner immediately got up from where she was sitting, walked past me and asked the man "may I help you"? Both I and the man were surprised and I think quite frankly shocked, and he pointed to me and said, "she was here first". I said "wow, I guess I'm invisible". Only then did she acknowledge my presence and said "oh I'm sorry, I thought you were here for carry-out" and preceded to show me to a table. This was even more bizarre because the guy was closer to the carryout area then I was. I've eaten at this establishment a few times with friends (White) who knew the owner personally and felt this weird "energy" from her (she wouldn't look at me or talked with my friends as if I wasn't there) but thought her dismissive behavior was because she didn't know me. But after this blatant instance I'm sure she's a racist and I vowed to never eat there again.

Yelp
I've heard it said that Mama's Kitchen is the best pizza east of the river. In my opinion, it's tied with Pizza Day blocks away on Minnesota Ave SE. Mama's Kitchen is a small shop in historic Anacostia that serves pizza, lasagna, calzones, and chicken wings (DC has made the unnatural combo of pizza and chicken wings natural). Locals loves it because it's cheap and not bad. A large pizza cost just under $20 for 8 slices and it's filling. My buddy and I went in on a Monday at 6:30PM and waited about 25 minutes for our pizza to be ready. There are a few tables inside, but most people take theirs to go.

Alan L.

Yelp
A great place to eat in Anacostia !!They are so friendly and treats you great. They have the most delicious food. It is all home cooked.

Yelp
The good part up front: I loved the crust on their pizza. That alone is sufficient to make this the go to option in the future. If you don't like the typical mid-Atlantic style mushy crust that most pizza places around here have and long for a good mix of crunchy and chewy then this might be the place you have been looking for. The sauce is a touch too sweet for my tastes but still good and the toppings are tasty and don't seem stingy. There are some downsides. Other reviews mention it but this is not a place to order delivery from if you expect some kind of 30 minutes or less experience. My order did show up earlier than they said it would, but that's mainly because the estimated delivery was 70+ minutes. You will want to order this well in advance of getting hangry. Additionally the menu when ordering delivery via Yelp is not amenable to customization (just a blank box for special requests instead of a checklist for toppings) and is a little inaccurate - I ordered one of their specialty pizzas listed as having with pepperoni, sausage, and ham but it arrived and also had onions on it. I was able to pick most of them off and the rest didn't ruin the pizza for me but as someone who does not like onions that was not something I was thrilled with. The crust was so good I am willing to overlook the problems and am looking forward to my next order.

Yelp
I love the pizza and breadsticks!. This is great pizza and delivery service. I'll be back

Yelp
Mamas never disappoint. I like the big slices my coworkers loooooove the waaaaaangs!!!

LaTanya B.

Yelp
If you order through GRUBHUB.... Do NOT TIP upfront...They told me my order would be here by 8:40. It can 30 minutes later, was ICE COLD, driver wouldn't come to the building door((So why am I tipping)) and manager was very rude! NEVERRRRRRRRRRR AGAIN......
google avatar

Ben K.

Yelp
This is a mainstay on MLK Ave. The pizza and lasagna are great. The sauce is homemade. Love their sandwiches with the homemade bread. Above all else, Mama is wonderful. Recommend for anyone in the area
google avatar

Jemima C.

Yelp
This place is a Hood Favorite. Pizza, wings and pulled pork sandwiches and they deliver. I had the wings and they did not disappoint. The place is fairly small with a counter to order and a few seats to eat in first come first serve basis. The prices are reasonable and they take debit and credit cards.

Yelp
I see a lot of people having bad experiences here but I've never had any issues at all. We've only ordered from uber eats & every time the food gets here it's hot, fresh, and good. We get the pepperoni pizza and it's covered with toppings. The crust is really thin and floppy, so if you prefer thick crust, it probably isn't the place for you. We also ordered the garlic Parmesan wings. They were a little burnt and had diced pieces of garlic. I expected a more subtle taste instead of pieces of garlic, but it was decent. I only ate one. The pizza is really good, but dripping in grease. It is good pizza and is ready quick and delivered on time as estimates by uber eats. I've never called so I haven't experienced any of the issues other people have, but I'll make sure to stick to uber eats.

Yelp
Look at my name, I know Italian and this is a gem. I have been grabbing some food here for the last couple of visits to the area and it's good. Now you Americans like your red sauce a little sweet and no real Italian adds sugar to red sauce but the food here is good! I can live with the sauce a little sweet as long as the food is good. I have had the pizza with anchovies since again I'm Italian and a meatball sandwich and today the calzone. The size of it is a meal for 2 people and hungry people! The food is good the service is good and its worth the time to go get it. Order online and go pick it up. Enjoy! Today I gave you 4 stars since the dough was a little wet but that was maybe because it sat for a bit till I got there but it was based on your pick up times.....I still ate it!

Yelp
Good Early Morning Mama. I'm feeling a lot better after having the Virus. Thank you for feeding me. As usual your home made Italian food and that Bananas pudding is the straight Boomdiggity just like my Grandmother Daisy Mae James Jordan Cohen of Orangeburg SC. I'm moving Mama. Purchased a Condo on Enve street, SE Washington,DC. Hope that I can still count on you cause you been great towards me and The Greens of Upper crust Laundry services. A King met a Queen. Taking Ya'll with me to Nats Basketball Studium. Enrolling in American University online Doctor's program for Early childhood education and child Psychology. Keep me in your prayers.

Yelp
So delicious and I love the owners and staff. Very reliable and always so yummy, the pizza is my favorite

A. S.

Yelp
The absolutely best tasting pepperoni and garlic pizza I have ever tasted! The pizza sauce and dough are delicious. The flavor was intense and the aroma was amazing. My vote goes to Mama's Pizza Kitchen for the Pizza Hall of Fame. I hope Mama's franchises soon!

Yelp
I stumbled upon Mama's completely by accident. I was in DC picking up something and I saw this humongous chair on the corner. I wanted to get out and take a pic of the chair. I saw this pizza spot on the corner so I walked in and guess what? It's one of the most awesome little historical pizza spots in DC! So apparently Mamas in the back whipping up pizzas and what not. I didn't see her, but I heard them call her name. I wanted to order the wings, but I went with the slice of pepperoni pizza because I was short on time and had another appointment in Rockville within the hour. I grabbed my pizza and it was good. Not great, but good. I could taste the old world sweet, yet sophisticated taste they were going for and I appreciated the effort. The pizza was humongous and I couldn't finish it all. If I'm ever in the area again I will try the wings. The service was quick and as pleasant as can be in DC! Thank you Mama!

Yelp
I ordered a lasagna from this place when I went I got home to open it it's was so much sauce all over the lid all through the lasnaga only 2 lasnagna shells ,no ricotta sauce, the spinach wasn't cooked which left it soggy all at the bottom, the top of the cheese was burnt, I had hair in my food, not to mention the rude service. The cashier over charged my card twice for $17.15 which was over charge of the menu price when I asked her about the charges she shrugged her shoulders like she didn't know why, then she said the terminal charges extra for using the card. Then today I called to ask for Momma she was very very rude over talking me when I asked her of I can bring it back she said no that's how they make it, then she proceeded to day next time don't order lasnaga she also said take a plate and scrape the sauce off. I'm very upset please don't don't ever order from this place you will be highly disappointed she hires people off the street that are ghetto and have no customer service eddiquate at all. I don't know how she managed to stay ieon this long you may as well eat at olive garden this place is trash and her husband always outside infront of the store smokingn weed
google avatar

Jacqueline T.

Yelp
Today I had pizza from here it was horrible. It was so thin to the point where the sauce was coming through the bottom of the crust. It didn't taste good. Normally it has a sweet taste well seasoned sauce but today it was HORRIBLE. I don't think I'm going back to this place because I'm a fan of consistency and today ruined it for me. I didn't even want to give it one star it was so bad.

Yelp
Love the pizza and wings it's a go too for the busy bus Operators of Washington DC very affordable.

Yelp
Look, Mama's is more than a local pizza joint, it's an institution. It is seriously an integral part of Ward 8. They were robbed not to long ago and the community banned together and raised money for a security system. They employ the homeless. They are a safe space for many. They are awesome and for that they get "ALL THE STARS!" LOL As for the what you really want to know about... The Food: I always go for the "Big Slice". I have YET to have one anywhere that is amazing so their slice is about the same as everywhere else, which is average. Now when you get into the food, food, like brisket or pulled pork sandwiches, ribs, the Calzone or the lemon pepper wings they are working with 4 to 5 stars. It's good. Really good. Customer Service: They treat everyone like fam (when you go in). Just go in...lol. Follow that advice and you will be alright. Order over the phone for for delivery at your own risk. Delivery: Good luck. You just never know what is going to happen. Your best best is go pick it up yourself as I mentioned. It's Ward 8. Streets being blocked off suddenly by police tape are real delivery hazards. One time I waited over 2 hours for my food before I found out it was never coming.Trying to get to the bottom of where my food was, was INSANE. The poor driver got caught up in a shooting incident. He came out unhurt but delivery ceased for the evening. For some reason it took several phone calls and 2 hours later for that to be properly communicated. But, I have been there twice in 48 hrs. Greeted by smiles and familiar faces and found out after 4 years of popping in, I have been missing out on a darn good calzone. Again..just don't have it delivered.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this impromptu lunch I had with my family. We weren't expecting such a nice atmosphere. It seemed like everyone knew each other and were genuinely happy to see each other. Mama even came out to the door to meet a wheelchair bound man with a smile. The food was freshly made and was good. The only reason I didn't give another star is because there were not enough chairs for customers.

Yelp
I just bought a house in Anacostia so was so excited that Mama's Kitchen is the first local business I could patronize. I bought lunch for myself and my contractors. I got a grilled chicken sub with french fries for one and beef lasagna for the other. I ordered a garlic cheese bread for myself. I had a couple of the french fries which were only warm (not hot) and had burnt edges. My garlic cheese bread was okay, but the cheese was only in the middle (not to the sides as I would've preferred) and there were only two knots of garlic on the entire dish. The dipping sauce was good though. Oh, and the wait for take out was over 30 minutes which I had a bit of a heads up about since the owner told me that lasagna took a while. I will give them another try as they are not that far from my new place.

Yelp
Bad customer service and delivery service , excessive wait times, not telling us when our food is going to be dropped off! I don't recommend mama's Kitchen on martin luther king ave

Yelp
Their lasagna taste homemade...I order it at least once a week! Cheesy, meat and sauce is tasty. The pizza is awesome as well.

Yelp
This place has PISS POOR customer service. I ordered a pizza via uber eats at 5:30pm and my pizza still hadn't arrived by 7pm. I called and asked them if my pizza was still there and the person I spoke with acted as if she didnt know. I was put on hold and when she came back to the phone, I heard someone in the background with the nastiest attitude saying that I needed to contact Uber eats and saying some other rude things that I couldnt quite make out. I was then put on hold again and when she came back, she explains to me that uber had just picked up my pizza. I then asked to speak to the manager and I was told that the managers were busy. I asked the person whom I was speaking with her name and this fool said her name was "O". Im so done with Mama's Kitchen. I used to order pizza from there for my son once a week. Managers, if you are reading this, please provide better customer service training to your staff. Tell them that their ghetto attutudes will not get them very far in life and if they dont change, theyll end up working at pizza joints for the rest of their lives!

Yelp
I think Mamas kitchens food is very good BUT I ordered onion rings to go and got home opened the container and found 8 onion rings for 9.00. The batter was not crisp which should have been. i called and nicely mentioned the 8 for the price(which comes out to a little more then 1.00 apiece) and was told this was the norm because they are hand dipped. too much money for 8.

Yelp
Great addition to the neighborhood. For those of us that remember the gyro place that used to be located at 13th and Good Hope, this pizza shop gives you the same feel. Family owned, ethnic pizza. There's a table or two to dine in, but mainly it's a carry out. I like having this option that always seems open and accessible. One star is taken off because any time I go, it's hot in there! The friendly staff and warm hearts keep the place even warmer :) .. oh and the pizza is pretty good, lol. Definitely cures a pizza fix, but isn't gourmet, nor is it frozen standard.

Yelp
I LOVE Mama's Kitchen! :D The hubs and I, after a not-so-good dinner, wanted to re-treat our bellies to better food. I've been wanting to check out Mama's Kitchen for a while, and since it was not too far as where we were, we headed on right over :P Mama's, as you might have guessed, is owned by Mama; she's Turkish, and she has some cred in terms of owning some restaurants and a chain that started out in NOLA. This little eatery offers pizzas (even pizza by-the-slice), sandwiches, calzones, lasagna, wings, BBQ (such as pulled pork, beef brisket, and ribs), salads, sides (such as baked beans, coleslaw, breadsticks, mozzarella sticks, etc.), and desserts. I had the Pepperoni Slice (which was NY style, monstrously big, and it was YUMMY - one of the best NY-style pizza I've had in a while! Plenty of pepperoni and cheese, this came out piping hot, and there are Parm cheese and chili flakes available to jazz it up); a Pulled Pork Sandwich (this came in a homemade bread (Turkish?), with saucy BBQ-y pulled pork, that I thought was pretty good); and, BBQ bone-in wings (these were cooked perfectly and sauced up wonderfully; no need for sauce, as these were yummy on its own!). I definitely want to try their calzones, the lasagna, and their specialty pizzas the next time! I will also be calling ahead with dine-in/carry-out orders, as the food is made to order, so you might be waiting for quite some time. There are about 5 tables if you wanted to dine-in, and I saw many who were also picking up for carry-outs. Just keep in mind that there's no AC, but a fan, so it does tend to get warm in there pretty quick! I love the fact that this place is opened a little later, and there's plenty of parking spots available on/off the street. Mama and the rest of the staff are all sweethearts, so that makes it that much sweeter - I can't wait to go back! :D +pizza by-the-slice! +Pepperoni Slice :D +BBQ bone-in wings :D +homemade breads +call ahead for orders (made-to-order) +ask for Mama :D +sweet & friendly staff :D +plenty of parking

Yelp
I was really impressed with the pulled pork pizza and their beef brisket. The sauce was tangy, with slight kick. Very good. The rest of their offerings are good, but the pulled pork and the brisket steal the show. Delivery usually takes about 45 mins, if I recall correctly. I've never been to the store. BUT BE WARNED: the prices on the website are not accurate.
