Had a lovely dinner at Mamie Colette in Montmartre. I started with the French onion soup and it was everything I hoped for. It was rich, cozy, and full of flavour. Warm, cheesy, and perfectly satisfying after a day of exploring and climbing all those flights of steps. 😅 The atmosphere was charming and intimate, with that effortless Parisian feel that makes you want to sit and stay awhile. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience felt relaxed and genuine. I’d absolutely go back the next time I’m in Paris.

We made a last minute reservation online but are so grateful we did because this restaurant gets busy and for good reason! The food is incredible! We ate a lot of French cuisine in Paris but this was hands-down, the best.

This little restaurant was very accommodating with us even when they were near closing time and we showed up with our 2 kids. We were lucky they served us because it was the best boeuf bourguignon of our Paris stay and the accompanying mashed potatoes was out of this world. Highly recommended.

We were a group of 5 girls and this restaurant was fully booked. We tried our luck and asked if there is any space for us and the waitress was so so nice and tried everything so that we can sit there together and eat - even without reservation. This place is really small but it has a cozy atmosphere. We had the menu with main dish, dessert and a drink for only 27€. The food and dessert was AMAZING!!! I can definitely recommend this place (but make sure to make a reservation in advance).

Oh my what lovely food. Don't miss the onion soup. I had the Burgundy burger. The meat was so tender and juicy and the quantity of meat was enough to keep even a hungry Tarzan Happy. Can't recommend enough. The veggie burger was really good as well.

Having lunch here was the best decision. The place is very small but you feel like home. The guy who served us was polite, kind and always with big smile, even he was alone doing everything and very professional. The menu is small but has every options for vegetarian, and gluten free. We had the lunch offer that you can choose starter/main or main/dessert for 21€ and that was enough because the portions are very generous. Really recommend this place, I would just book in advance so you don’t have to wait.

I stumbled upon Mamie Colette by happy accident while exploring Montmartre. All the nearby bistros were packed, and I was hoping to find a quiet spot away from the crowd—and this tiny, unassuming place was just what I needed. At first glance, it was simple and homey. Service was a little slow, but understandably so—there was only one person attending to everyone (but she was really nice!). What the place lacked in speed, though, it more than made up for in food quality and charm. While waiting, I was served soft, warm bread—such a comforting start. I ordered the set menu, which let me choose my appetizer, main, and dessert. The foie gras terrine was rich and flavorful, followed by a hearty dish of Toulouse sausage cooked in duck fat with cheesy mashed potatoes that felt like a warm hug. For dessert, the chocolate mousse was pure indulgence—simple, yet deeply satisfying. By the time I left, a line had formed and tables outside were filling up. It turns out this cozy spot is well-loved by locals and lucky wanderers like me. Definitely worth a visit if you want an authentic, slow-paced French meal in Montmartre.

Amazing place. Food was extraordinary, specially the onion soup and boeuf bourgignon. Service was incredible as well. The restaurant is small so you need to get there by 1pm for lunch.
