"Clinging to a rocky outcrop, Les Roches Brunes is a feast for the eye: the hotel overlooks the sea and offers a breathtaking view of the Château royal de Collioure opposite. In the bohemian-chic restaurant, the gourmet score celebrates local produce. You will taste creative, hearty Catalan recipes with a weakness for seafood: Palamos prawns, mushrooms and a coffee emulsion; arroz seco, baby squid and blue crab stock; fillet of dentex cooked on a plancha served with a seafood suquet (sort of Catalan fish stew)." - Michelin Inspector

A Culinary Gem – Restaurant Mamma What an experience! Mamma truly impressed us from the very first moment. The food, the view, and the service are all exceptional – if not world-class! The freshness and quality of the ingredients are evident in every single dish. The chef’s expertise and the dedication of the hardworking team shine through in each course. A special mention goes to the incredible anchovies – absolutely delicious, and a must-have starter that we enjoyed every evening we dined there. After our first visit, we knew we had to come back – and we did, for two more nights! We were eager to try as much as possible from the menu, and each meal exceeded our expectations with its creativity, flavor, and attention to detail. Another highlight is the excellent wine selection, including some fantastic natural wines. The quality is outstanding, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable – a true added bonus for wine lovers. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for the warm hospitality and unforgettable experience. Mamma is a true treasure, and we can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who appreciates great food and atmosphere.

Talented Chef Florian Ross at the stove, an unmissable subtle gastronomic experience in a site with spectacular views over Collioure and the sea. We love it.

We like the food here so much that during our 3-night stay in Collioure we ate here two times. Once because the food is so good, and second because the alternatives in the village of Collioure are not convincing and mostly tourist traps. Service is attentive and knowledgable. Both times the recommended wines were excellent. Food is very well prepared, but the absolute high point are the desserts, which are very innovative and highly addictive (from one we even ordered another serving ...). Atmosphere is just great, with a panoramic view of the village of Collioure on the opposite side with the ocean in between and the restaurant terrace just below.

What a great meal. We had the sea bass gravalax, the Baratta with figs then linguine with prawns and the lamb. All the food was delicious and our waiter was super friendly and put up with our bad French as we are Aussies. The linguine needed some seasoning so ask for that when you get your meal. Other than that, the view is stunning and food very good. We spent $129 Euro for the two of us.

We had a superb meal here last night, the food certainly deserves a Michelin Star. Very creative with unexpected combinations. We were offered a tasting menu @ €79 which we accepted. I lost count of the number of sharing plates we enjoyed. A cheese course which was Roquefort with bees wax and watercress sorbet and a dessert that included a sauce made from prawn heads, astonishingly good. However. We were left with a “SOUR TASTE IN THE MOUTH” when we got the bill. We were charged €99 per head instead of €79!! When questioned we were told, well you had “Gambas”, yes we did but were never told it was “extra at €20 per head!” Sharp practice and unprofessional, in my opinion, when they refused to change the bill!!!! Watch out!!

Showed up with a reservation and they told me I didn’t have one. When I showed them the copy of my reservation they said they had no table for us and it was a system error. So strange for them to charge me a booking fee yet they can cancel on us with no warning leaving us searching somewhere else for dinner. Poor on their part.
