The 16 Best Restaurants In Juárez, Mexico City 2024

"This small Michoacán-based pizza shop recently opened in CDMX near El Ángel de la Independencia, one of the city’s most noteworthy monuments. Go see that, then grab a spritz and a Neapolitan-style pie at Mammut after. Our favorite is the Salchicha Diavola with a puffy, charred wood-fired crust and spicy pepperoni, salami, sausage, and a secret cheese mix. Add an order of hummus for the table, which comes with more dough for dipping. And, if you’re staying nearby, take advantage of the fact that you can get your pies delivered." - guillaume guevara

We ordered the Margherita pizza with fresh burrata as well as the beet carpaccio appetizer with ricotta cheese. Absolutely delicious! Our waiter was attentive and quick. Chef came out to see if we enjoyed our meal. Aperol Spritz was excellent too. Highly recommend this charming spot.

The food tastes great, and the pizzas are absolutely amazing. They have very innovative flavors that definitely would have made me come back. However, the reason I wouldn’t return is that I ordered a salad to share, and while I was eating it, I found a small (live) fly inside a lettuce leaf. I informed the waiter about it, and he only offered to replace my individual plate—not the entire dish. It wasn’t until I specifically asked for a new salad that they actually prepared another one for me. They never apologized or took the initiative to make things right.

We got Diablo pizza, which came with 3 kinds of meat. The ingredients are very fresh. They don’t put a lot of sauce to overpower the flavor. We tried so many pizza places in CDMX and they are all very good, but this one stands out. The dessert - tiramisu is also divine, with soft sponge cake. The host is extremely nice and accommodating. 4 stars for the atmosphere because the table height is relatively higher than the sofa seat, which is noticeable discomfort. They have a lot of interesting special pizza selections. We will definitely come back again for other pizzas.

Absolutely delicious pizza! This pizzeria offers a wide variety of flavors, and every one I’ve tried has been amazing. The crust is super thin and perfectly crispy — just the way I like it. Highly recommend if you’re a fan of authentic, flavorful pizza

Despite the glowing reviews, Mammut Pizza left me feeling disappointed with their pesto and prosciutto pizza. Although it looked appetizing, the taste didn't live up to expectations. The flavor was lacking, and it left much to be desired. I did like the chill vibes of the restaurant. We visited on a quiet Friday night, and although the service was generally good, as was the Aperol spritz we ordered, the star dish failed to impress.

Not only they have very yummy pizza, it’s also a very cute pretty and small place with a beautiful bar, great for date nights, to have a couple of drinks or wine with your significant other, or to see friends, I enjoyed my time being there and enjoyed the food as well, their sauces are very spicy be careful on not putting too much on your pizza :)

My wife and I went here with very high expectations about the place, we watched some interesting reviews in tiktok and decided to visit the venue along with my parents. The place is well located just a few steps from Reforma Avenue and roughly 600 metres from the Sevilla Under Station, it is a small locale that seems to be a house with the exception of the Marquee in the outside. The first thing you will see is it’s stone oven aside the main entrance, once inside, you will see the bar and then the main hall which is very reduced with small tables, the ambience is very cosy but not as confortable due to the narrow space between tables and sits. The specialty of the place is pizza, the menu only offers this along with some entrances, salads, beverages and deserts. Once we got out table we sit and checked the menu, once ready we asked for the Specials which are the Author Pizzas, so we requested the Gabrielle and the Margherita Mamut, the pizza is not as bad but not the tastier, if they add higher quality ingredients the pizzas will get improved dramatically, the dough needs more acidity to get that special taste of a traditional Neapolitan pizza that can be found on a long term sourdough. For desserts we had the traditional Tiramisu which for surely is one on the best in the zone, not too sweet, we think was in the right balance of sweetness and also was fresh, we also tasted the Panna Cotta di Alejandre, for this one we must say that was like eating a simple jelly. For the wine, we think they need more Italian wines in the list. In summary, the place is quite small, so if you plan a diner with a big number of people this place is not for you, the prices of the pizzas is ok and the only thing we reckon is the need to improve the ingredients, out of that the pizzas are so so. ‼️ 𝗧𝗜𝗣: 𝗧𝗥𝗬 𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘, 𝗦𝗢 𝗔𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗩𝗢𝗜𝗗 𝗪𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗘𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠.

This little spot has the best pizza in CDMX, maybe all of Mexico. My compliments to the chef. We found this place when they first opened and were giving out complimentary Aperol spritzes. What a find! We come back every time we are here. Delicious red sauce with a crust that is thin and floppy at the center and fluffy and light around the edges - as a TRUE pizza napolitana should be. It’s hard to find a pizza like this outside of Napoli Italia. Try the Salchicha Diavola or classic Margherita. Yummy salads and cocktails too, with a wide assortment of spritzes. My personal favorite is the Limoncello or Hugo Spritz.
