The 16 Best Restaurants In Juárez, Mexico City 2024

"This small Michoacán-based pizza shop recently opened in CDMX near El Ángel de la Independencia, one of the city’s most noteworthy monuments. Go see that, then grab a spritz and a Neapolitan-style pie at Mammut after. Our favorite is the Salchicha Diavola with a puffy, charred wood-fired crust and spicy pepperoni, salami, sausage, and a secret cheese mix. Add an order of hummus for the table, which comes with more dough for dipping. And, if you’re staying nearby, take advantage of the fact that you can get your pies delivered." - guillaume guevara

Flavor: I was genuinely surprised by the flavor of these pizzas. It was a very pleasant surprise, something I hadn’t experienced in Italian restaurants in quite some time. Service: The staff is very friendly and provides accurate and helpful recommendations. Price: Considering the location, portion sizes, and quality of the food, I find the prices to be very fair. Atmosphere: The restaurant is comfortable, and the décor adds to the overall experience. They offer both indoor seating and a terrace. For two people, we ordered one pizza and one pasta with chicken, not realizing how generous the portions were. We ended up having leftovers to take home. If you’re in the area, this is without a doubt a place I highly recommend stopping by!

Mamut Pizza is hands down the best Neapolitan-style pizza spot around. The crust is perfectly light and airy with just the right char from the wood-fired oven, the sauce is fresh and flavorful, and the toppings are top quality. Every bite feels authentic, straight out of Naples. If you’re a true pizza lover, this place is a must-visit.

We really enjoyed our dinner here last night. We shared the Affumicata salad and Divola pizza. I had a beer and my wife a Negroni cocktail. Everything was freshly made and delicious. The staff were friendly and our young male waiter was very helpful and spoke excellent English.

This pizza shop has a nice atmosphere, great drinks and really good pizza. Reasonably priced compared to the other restaurants in the area.

We ordered the Margherita pizza with fresh burrata as well as the beet carpaccio appetizer with ricotta cheese. Absolutely delicious! Our waiter was attentive and quick. Chef came out to see if we enjoyed our meal. Aperol Spritz was excellent too. Highly recommend this charming spot.

The food tastes great, and the pizzas are absolutely amazing. They have very innovative flavors that definitely would have made me come back. However, the reason I wouldn’t return is that I ordered a salad to share, and while I was eating it, I found a small (live) fly inside a lettuce leaf. I informed the waiter about it, and he only offered to replace my individual plate—not the entire dish. It wasn’t until I specifically asked for a new salad that they actually prepared another one for me. They never apologized or took the initiative to make things right.

We got Diablo pizza, which came with 3 kinds of meat. The ingredients are very fresh. They don’t put a lot of sauce to overpower the flavor. We tried so many pizza places in CDMX and they are all very good, but this one stands out. The dessert - tiramisu is also divine, with soft sponge cake. The host is extremely nice and accommodating. 4 stars for the atmosphere because the table height is relatively higher than the sofa seat, which is noticeable discomfort. They have a lot of interesting special pizza selections. We will definitely come back again for other pizzas.

We were excited to try the pizza after seeing it onTV. The pizza is very doughy and there is hardly any tomato sauce or cheese. It’s like they are cutting corners. Additionally we had the rudest waitress. She was very unkind from the moment we sat down. Her attitude made the meal even worse. We live in CDMX but will NEVER return, and we don’t recommend this restaurant!
