Mamnooncita is my go-to lunch takeout in South Lake Union. The food is fresh, healthy, delicious, and fast! There's a ton of variety in the middle eastern offerings so every bowl feels different (see pictures). I highly recommend it!

manna is a great spot in SLU for arabic flavors and besides hot food, it also has amazing bakery items. food was great. for the money, i would’ve wanted a slightly bigger portion size, but i think the flavor and taste compensates for that. i got the street bowl with falafel, chicken, hummus, bread, pickled veggies and hot sauce. all the components went amazing with each other. chicken was perfect, not dry at all. the falafel is amazing, with a crisp crust and soft inside. hummus is nice and smooth. warmer bread could’ve been nice imo, but its very good right now too. i have tried a lamb shawarmini in the past too and i really liked it. in terms of bakery/pastry, the raspberry danish, the mama cookie and the tahini swirl cookies are amazing. cookies were soft, chunky with nice flaky salt on top. the danish however stood out to me the most. i’ve never had a danish so nice, flaky and flavorful. the raspberry was perfect, not too overpowering. the crumble on top makes it perfect. the service was general. i was served fast and the man at the counter was polite and friendly. the atmosphere is a corporate/casual mix. the colors are dark and subtle but the music is casual. it has a sit-down vibe but sells upscale street food. overall, manna is an amazing find for a quick takeout or a sit-down lunch. it’s in the center of SLU and there’s a lot of competition around, but manna holds it’s own with it’s nice, arabic flavors and absolutely amazing bakery items. i can see myself coming here as a usual throughout the week. i would recommend manna to locals and people working around SLU.

This place was perfectly fine for a lunch stop. I agree with the other reviewers that the cost and size don’t really match up. I got the lamb schwarma wrap and liked it. The ambiance of the space also isn’t super inviting, it doesn’t make you want to stay and enjoy your meal. I know this restaurant group has some successful restaurants so maybe that will improve as this place is open longer.

Fast casual version from our favorite local restauranteir, nadi mama. If you love mbar, mamnoon, anar, or hanoon you will love this one too. Hours on the door say Monday thru Friday, but they were open Saturday when we walked past. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Seating for small groups, as well as community table arrangement. There is also a refrigerated grab and go case with great options if you're in a rush, or want something for later. What we ordered: The Mujadara bowl (with baba ganoush, hummus, muhammara, and pickled turnips added on). Spices in the dish give you that warm homemade feeling, without feeling heavy after the meal. We split this between two, and it was perfect. Taragon Limeade (16oz) is bright and refreshing, with a nice tarragon finish.

This place is a gem in the middle of SLU. Great ambience, a really nice collection of freshly prepped snacks, dips and pastry items. Their Baklava and cardamon latte hit it out of the park for me. Also a great place to stop and grab a quick bite!!

I ordered the Mujadara to go, and I must say, the presentation was pretty bad. And it was missing the pickled fresnos. But it did taste pretty good. I arrived 20 minutes before they close, and all the chairs were already up, which is fine, but doesn't add to the atmosphere. I'd suggest a few things to improve the food presentation. First, serve it in a round bowl takeout container rather than a large square one. Second, include the yogurt sauce on the side in a little container. Third, do something other than squish the toppings into one corner.

I know Seattle isn’t known for food, but the food was exceptionally bad for the price. I ordered the lamb mini shawarmas and they were floating in oil. My diet is primarily greasy fast food and microwave meals, and even I found this meal abhorrent. I wish I just stayed in and ate hot pockets for lunch. If this place is somehow in business, I am convinced the people of Seattle will eat anything.

Cozy place to have a warm middle East/Mediterranean/Americanized lol😉 food. Great management, nice and friendly staff. Food is not like the best Middle Eastern food but it’s decent and for the price it’s definitely worth it 💯 👍🏻
