I don’t like to make bad reviews ,but we were tired from work and wanted to try this place, what a waste of time, money and energy. We ordered two burritos the cowgirl and the NorCal. NorCal was cold tortilla ,cheese wasn’t melted, fries were cold, barely guacamole and no secret sauce was tasted cowgirl burrito, dry chicken breast no seasoned, just bland and dry, no melted cheese like their pictures and had barbecue flavored sauce. If they charge 20 per burrito I was expecting something better than the taco stand or the other restaurants that their average price is 12-15 per burrito

Google
The first time I ordered i was impressed. The food tastes good. Now I'm strongly disappointed. my order was wrong. I ordered socal asada nachos and got fries instead. I also ordered a pollo helladilla and what I got was curly fries wrapped in a tortilla with barley any cheese. if I'm paying $20 for a quesadilla I expect to at least get cheese and chicken. extremely disappointed. fortunately they got the crunch wrap right.

Google
I ordered the Cowgirl Burrito and was not impressed. It looks nothing like what's pictured and was very dry. I will not order here again.

I was really looking forward to trying this place but after seeing these reviews I'm going to pass looks like they lost all their luster Instagram videos look so good but I got to trust the reviews!

Google
$20 for a hot Cheeto burrito should be a crime

Google
Ordered the NorCal Burrito without meat and literally got a bunch of fries wrapped in a tortilla. Pretty lame...

Google
The So-cal burrito was the best burrito I ever had. It was bursting with flavor and really big. Definitely worth the price and this will be my go to spot for now on.

Yelp
We were really excited to try Man vs. Fries -- the photos online looked absolutely delicious, and honestly, when we received our order, it looked just as good in person. First impressions were definitely strong. However, once we dug in, the experience was just... alright. To be candid, I would probably rank Adalberto's higher in terms of both quality and affordability. The fries tasted like something you'd pick up from the frozen section at a grocery store, and the chicken was unfortunately very dry, which made it hard to really enjoy the meal. One of the biggest letdowns was the Hot Cheetos on the Asada fries -- they were stale, and it definitely took away from the flavor and texture we were hoping for. All things considered, I don't think I'd go out of my way to order from here again. There's definitely potential, but for the price point and overall quality, it missed the mark for us.

Yelp
Okay so I have 2 young boys and we're all pretty picky eaters. We all LOVED our NorCal burritos! Took awhile to arrive via DoorDash but def will be ordering from this place again - was surprised to see the negative reviews on here as I expected it to be highly rated. Sooooooo good!!

Yelp
Tastes pretty good. Flavorful and not dry at all. I didn't want to opt in beef for an extra $4, so it was chicken. Cheetos was stale; I'd expected it to be soggy tbh. Paid $20 plus fees via grubhub; pricey, but I want to try other stuff on their menu in the future.

Yelp
Originally a pop-up in the Bay Area of California, and has now worked its way to Sacramento, operating in a ghost kitchen. The main dish is basically a build-your-own plate of loaded fries -- diners can choose from curly fries or seasoned straight-cut, then from toppings including carne asada and pollo asado, finally deciding if they want their fries "NorCal-style" -- with cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and "secret sauce", or "SoCal-style" -- with grilled onions, cilantro, and jalapeños. Since its founding, Man vs Fries has expanded into other dishes, like fry-filled burritos, quesadillas, and even dessert, like a Texas Fair-style fried cheesecake. You can place the order through DoorDash and have it delivered to your preferred area.

Yelp

Yelp
Horrible. We ordered the fried cookie dough and fried Oreos for the 2nd time. The first time, everything was amazing, but today's order, everything was BURNT and the fried cookie dough was not even fried. Not to mention, only 3 Oreos were packed and one of them had no actual Oreo in them. Their phone box also is completely full and I couldn't get ahold of them. But this is complete garbage and I will not be ordering again and I do not recommend at all.

Yelp
Searching for places to door dash in the local area and this place popped up. I don't normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite. The Man vs fries deep fried oreos may be the best dessert I've ever had! Just annoyed I had to share it. Mr beast burger is one of the best in town without the drive and they are open till 2am for all those late night cravings.

Yelp
We had to place our order through door dash even though we tracked down the food truck. The staff never updated door dash that our order was ready so we ended up waiting over an hour and a half for our food. Once we received our food it was cold and soggy. Definitely not worth the time, money or the hassle.

Yelp
I'm starting to think this location is t even real I was DoorDashing one night and was looking for it for nearly 30 minutes called the phone number and the guy said well if you can't find it that's tough bad customer service as well ‍

Jarred W.

Yelp
Friday night, pictures looked good, thought we'd give it a shot! Placed an order, they confirmed it, and we eagerly awaited. 30 minutes later, they cancel the order, leaving us hungry and no where else is open because we wanted to try something new. Save your efforts, go somewhere else. They clearly do not value customer experience.

Yelp
I've never had such awful service from a restaurant. You would think that in a time like this where restaurants are still trying to recoup from the pandemic the fact that they choose to be so obviously Rudd to a customer who because I wanted to be considerate preordered my food before noon today for delivery by as one of the first orders when they open. To have my order told that they ran out of the main dishes Main item then when I asked how that was possible if I made sure I was one their first orders of the day makes me believe that obviously they are lying to gain business but then doesn't care and treats readily willing customers to pay like shit I will make sure everyone I know and every food and restaurant review site as well know that they do not deserve to be in business and nog to waste such hard earned money on them!

Yelp
Wow. Ordered on Uber Eats and I have no way to contact this business. I ordered a burrito and they left out the sour cream and guacamole. It was the driest burrito I've ever eaten(well, tried to eat). Nothing I can do but accept I just lost $20 +tx + delivery fee and tip. For a burrito and was practically inedible. I'm so pissed Edit Uber Eats refunded my entire order so i'm only out the tip, which is fine. The delivery service was great. I'm pretty sure Uber Eats is aware of how shady this "business" is. Never order from a business that doesn't have a phone(I didn't know)...haha...Why didn't i look in to this restaurant? Don't trust Uber Eats to police their restaurants for fraud. I guess they make their percentage regardless. I'm sooooo piss

Yelp
Review number 3 with the same problem of not being able to get our food. Seriously? If you can't handle a restaurant, don't post on postmates.

Yelp
We ordered SoCal Burritos from this restaurant via Doordash. Super delicious! The burritos were huge and the steak was flavorful. Everything on the menu looks good so I'll be back for more!

Yelp
Ok, so this place looked pretty awesome. I see the newness factor and the fact that it only had one review. I read the review and am like "it didn't have anything to do with the food, maybe the issue was the third party delivery system and not the restaurant". So, we decide we'll give them a shot anyway, probably just a fluke. We've now been waiting an hour and a half to find our driver canceled because of something weird like they ran out of bags. I have another driver that's there and now it's almost midnight, and I'm just done with the whole thing. I go to call the business and shockingly they don't have a phone number listed ANYWHERE I can find. ‍ very irritated and disappointed with this restaurant, and I will unfortunately have to agree with the other person about not wasting your time.

Yelp
I ordered through Uber Eats (reliable drivers in my experience). We got the SoCal Nachos. The homemade chips were delicious and the carne asada was seasoned well.

Yelp
So I wanted to try this new place because the pictures of the burrito was amazing. My first order was a SoCal Burrito and it was the best I ever had. Full to the max with meat, fries, cheese, etc. It was so good that we invited friends over and ordered again the next day. The same results. I swore this would be my go to spot for now on. My next order was horrible. I ordered the same but it barely had meat, just fries some cheese and all tortilla. I was disappointed but i just thought it had to be a mistake and l didn't want to give up yet. I ordered 3 more times within the next month and they were all the same as the last. It sucks because I was chasing that first order like it was a high but had to give up. The thing about this place is that they are not consistent. You could get something good one day and bad the next. Maybe they haven't worked out their system yet but still. The good thing though was that since I used door dash for my order we got a refund for every bad order.

Yelp
We ordered fried Oreos and cookie dough with the expectation of them being friend and having Oreos in them, it had neither. The fried cookie dough looked like someone put batter on a pan and then forgot about it until they were burnt. The fried Oreos order only had 3 serving in it with all 3 burnt and one of them didn't even have an Oreo in it, just the burnt dough. Tried calling the store but their phone number doesn't work and they have no other place of contact. Do not order from them.

Yelp
Ordered from this place multiple times on DD and it got cancelled every time. Ridiculous..idk how DD and Postmates even had them on their apps this place doesn't seem like it even exists.

Mariangel C.

Yelp
I'm not even done with my meal and here I am writing a review. I had never heard of this place but it came up on Postmates I ordered the Norcal burrito and Omg cookies. After I ordered I came on yelp to check them out and read a bunch of negative reviews because I sometimes I feel reading the negative reviews I learn more about the restaurant. I firmly believe in judging things for yourself and having your own experience so I was excited for my food to arrive. The food came and I took a bite and I can't believe the burrito was amazing I could taste all the different flavors in it and it's huge so you will definitely have leftovers. The oh my God the cookies were perfectly made just soft spongy enough while still crispy the dough is so delicious that I could eat it on its own. I definitely recommend this place it was a great everyone check it out.

Luis L.

Yelp
Hope this place goes out of business, food was mediocre, overpriced and late. Not worth a descriptive review.

Morgan F.

Yelp
They canceled my order because its Friday. Super sad was looking forward to it. Placed the timed order hours ago.

Megan M.

Yelp
I would not recommend going to this place. I ordered via Postmates and went to pick it up. It was extremely difficult to find and was out of a truck with no signage on it whatsoever. An employee on break instructed me to knock on the door so I did multiple times with no answer. I went to the window and could see the employee with headphones in ignoring me after multiple attempts to get his attention. When I finally did and gave him my name for pick up he just screamed at me that it wasn't ready. Even though on my app it was supposed to be ready 10 minutes ago. I stood outside for maybe 20 minutes with barely any communication or acknowledgment of my order. I ordered the Cali crunch wrap which was decent but the Socal Asada nachos were terrible quality. It was messy, soggy, and not tasty. It's disappointing that this restaurant is associated with Postmates and Door Dash because all my other experiences with other restaurants on that app have been very reliable. Overall very terrible customer service.
