Google
This place is the bomb. I got the chicken shwarma bowl and my partner got the cauliflower eggplant bowl. But the shwarna knocked it out the park. And they have a nice selection of carbonated beverages. But seriously try the shwarma bowl you will not be disappointed. I really enjoyed it for the price as well. Its made to order so you know its fresh. The place is clean and to top it off the kenafe was delicious to end the meal with. I have pictures.

Google
Super tasty food with excellent, feels-like-family service. The portions are healthy and don't forget the garlic sauce! We really liked the falafel balls app, and both the chicken shwarma wrap and bowl. They also have a very nice little seating area outside with plants surrounding. We highly recommend!

Google
It is mom and pop Mediterranean food shop. Good food and wide selection of food items. Maps will take you a different spot, it is under the huge parking spot. Wide variety of food items. You order it at the counter and food is brought to you. Ask for the sauces, they are very good. Food does take an extra minute to come. Sometimes if it gets mixed and goes to wrong table they will just bring it to you when it has been through multiple hands. I wish they did not do that. But once you get the food it is decent food, baklavas are the best. Had the pistachios one and it was one of the best I ever had. Definitely recommend this place.

Google
The service here is spectacular. They're super friendly, prompt, and respectful. The food here is fire. The best falafel I've had in the Bay. Which isn't a stupendous mark considering the state of falafel in the Bay, but it's pretty good. They'll work around your dietary restrictions, e.g. I asked for no onions and they switched out the salad for the one without onion. For the bowls you can get half rice, half lettuce or all of one type. The kefta kebab is really good, again, the best kebab I've had in the Bay. You get four think pita as part of the dish. The portions are generous. The flatbread pizzas are great though probably the weakest item on the menu unless you really like cheese. The cauliflower is fried. Their hummus is thick, creamy, and soft. The presentation looks great on all of their dishes and they all come in eco-friendly boxes! Big ups all around.

Google
This is the best Mediterranean restaurant I’ve tried in the past 15 years! I’ve been searching and not always satisfied, but this place is by far the cleanest, most delicious, and truly the best. The food tastes just like back home. Thank you so much—we really enjoyed it, both the adults and the kids!

Google
Inside of restaurant was very clean and organized, beautiful colored lanterns hanging, great friendly fast service from the woman working behind the counter. Food was delicious! I ordered the falafel wrap as a second option as the lamb kebab wrap was unavailable unfortunately. Overall experience was great! Will definitely go back again and bring my friends!

Google
The food was really good, fresh and straight out of the oven. We ordered the Tri-tip shawarma cheese fries, half cheese-pepperoni pizza for my boys, and a lahm-bajin manakish. Also, a mint lemonade. They gave us an extra cheese pizza because they made a mistake with one of our orders, so that was nice! Good service and food experience for us.

Google
As someone who grew up in the middle east - it is so hard to get good arab/Mediterranean food. We truly enjoyed our visit to Manakish. Mohammed was very kind and took our order and also served us. Everything tasted like it did back home. So nostalgic. The babaganoush and pita were the highlight! Too good! The decor is tastefully done and has clean interiors.

Yelp
I really like this place, the facilities are very clean and the staff are extremely nice and helpful. There is also a parking lot in the back. I ordered the sujuk and cheese flatbread, and it tasted delicious. The ingredients were very fresh and I think the pizza is more than enough for 1 person. Looking forward to coming again and trying the other items.

Yelp
The man behind the counter both times I went must be the owner because he cares and ensures that he takes care of customers! The first trip, my bf and I split the chicken shawarma wrap and the tri-tip wrap. Great portion size and one side of fries was more than we could handle! I also went with my son and he got the chicken shawarma bowl: excellent choice. The flavor was great, a bit more "saucy" than shawarma usually is, but on top of the lettuce, rice, hummus, pickles, and veggies... chef's kiss! Though I wasn't the biggest fan of the flatbread I tried (Lahm-bajin-- I think it just wasn't for my taste preferences), I will certainly try the other styles of flatbread in the future bc this place is honestly a gem tucked into a kind of industrial area. This location used to be a pita bakery, but the renovations have made its new restaurant fresh, bright, and inviting. Check this place out and put it into your regular rotation!

Yelp
Food is tasty and portions are good, but the priced are very high for a more laid back quick eats kind of place. Service was quick and nice, and the seating area was decent. We got the lamb plate, and the meat was flavorful, pita was really delicious, and hummus, rice, and salad were well portioned. But for $25, it was really expensive. We were gonna buy some hummus, but that was always really high price, $10 for the small container. I can understand $5-6, but that was pretty steep. The prices here were way higher for a comparable place in downtown San Francisco.

Yelp
Umm... No. Arabian food shouldn't taste like Mexican food. The chef is Mexican and made some sort of nasty Mexican chicken. It's pricey and doesn't taste good. Here's the thing, why would I pay to come to a low quality Mexican restaurant when I'm paying for Arabian cuisine. Chicken shawarma had too much paprika and lemon. Tasted like those low quality trashy Mexican chicken. 0/5

Ramesh B.

Yelp
Most dishes we ordered when we went for dinner last week, such as Babaghanoush, Hummus, Falafel, Chicken Kebab, Cauliflower Pizza, were of average quality. Babaghanoush and Hummus were not fresh and refrigerated, for how long, not known.

Yelp
This place is also a great lunch option. I love the seating. Their menu is creative and their food is very tasty. Wonderful service too.

Yelp
I saw this place on TikTok and wanted to give it a try, so I placed on order for pick up. It took about 15 minutes for my order to be ready. The interior is clean and vibrant, but on the smaller side. There are also a few cute and colorful tables outside under an awning. I ended up getting two drinks while waiting for my food and some baklava. There was a nice variety of drinks that you don't typically see at grocery stores and some fresh squeezed juice. I ended up getting a Freez and Rani Float. Both were good! (I don't think there was an option for ordering drinks/desserts online, but I could be wrong. ) The man working was friendly and quickly assembled my order. When I got home, I was surprised by how much food I ordered. I got the tri tip shawarma flat bread, fatoush salad, and a side order of chicken shawarma to add to my salad. The salad was loaded with bell pepper, olives, cucumber, tomatoes, onions, and some crispy chips. The dressing was minty, lemony, and refreshing. Honestly, it would've been pretty good as is, but we added the chicken and it was amazing!! The chicken was well cooked and seasoned. The salad alone could've fed my fiance and I. The trip tip flat bread was equally as good. The cucumber, onion, tomatoes, pickles, and pickled raddish gave it a really good texture with the soft bread. The meat and sauce were also flavored well. The baklava had good flavor, but was not super crispy. I think the syrup soaked into the phyllo dough, but I still really enjoyed it. This place is in a slightly inconvenient location because it neighbors a car shop and doesn't have a ton of parking, but don't let that stop you from trying this place! I'd recommend eating there, but the food is still delicious if taken to go!

Theresa A.

Yelp
The service is excellent. The food is fresh and delicious!!!! Friendly you feel like family when you come here.

Yelp
I came here after seeing a video on social media of the sweet owner asking the nearby TJ's for help in advertising. I have been meaning to go here for so long, and after seeing that video, I was there an hour after. The place has a nice outdoor area, and lots of seating inside as well. It is very open and vibrant. I was so curious about the flatbreads, so I asked our server for his favorite. He recommended the Lahmbajin Manakish or the Super Supreme Manakish. We decided to get the Lahmbajin to go, and it was ready about fifteen minutes later. The server was so kind the entire time. We brought the manakish home to eat and it was so soft and light. Definitely not a heavy dish, and for $18, this was pretty good. The manakish was large, but not heavy whatsoever. It came with a chili sauce, and I should've asked for more! The flavor itself was not too salty or saucy, it was more of a light, hearty bread. I definitely want to come back to try their other flavors! Please come support Manakish Oven and Grill, they have great food and even better people!

Yelp
Decided to visit Manakish after I saw on TikTok that they're possibly closing due to business being slow. We placed an online order so that we can pick it up on our way home. We ordered The Kefta Kebab Plate and the Tri Tip and Cheese Flatbread with Tahini. The total was $43 for both items. There were really large serving sizes! We couldn't even finish them and we were lucky to have enough leftover for dinner the next day. The flatbread was pretty good, but I feel like the pita bread would need to baked a little longer so that it can hold all the toppings. Since the pita bread was still soft, the slices were a little floppy. I also feel like there was something missing, but I can't tell what it was. Not sure if it was missing parsley or maybe cilantro but it was missing another flavor. Overall it was pretty good other than the pita bread being too soft. The kefta kebab Plate was pretty good too. We really liked the kefta and wished there was more. We also loved how it came with a lot of different sides: hummus, rice, salad, and pita. I really liked how the rice was soft and seasoned! The hummus was also pretty good, but I would suggest putting it in a different container. Their plate is made from a cardboard-like material and since the hummus had oil, the oil had soaked through the plate. The salad was refreshing, but there was a little too much. I think we could have been okay without the salad. They do have a lot of options on the menu and I was trying to figure out why they on the verge of closing. As I go through the menu, I feel like the pricing is decent but definitely on the higher side compared to the restaurants that are nearby. The portions are very big, but I think they should consider having smaller options with more affordable price points. Here's an outline of the categories and the price ranges (from the website): Starters: $6.99-$16.99 Flatbreads: $15.50-$23.00 Bowls: $15.99-$17.99 Kebab Plates: $19.99-$23.99 Wraps: $13.99-$19.99 As mentioned, the portions are great but for them to keep up with restaurants in the surrounding area, they should really consider smaller options and adjustments on their prices. Overall we really liked the food and we would come back to try some other options.

Yelp
This place is randomly located, only found out about it by a colleague. They have a parking lot which is super convenient. We ordered catering and the food was ready by the time we picked up. Customer service was also great, friendly staff! We got the falafel wrap and hummus with pita, 10/10. The wrap is super flavorful and the ingredients were fresh. Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area, they have a great selection for vegetarians!
google avatar

Jessi B.

Yelp
Everything was amazing!! The chicken shawarma is so flavorful and juicy. The portions were huge and the pita was soft and fresh. I loved the jalapeño hummus, it's wasn't spicy but the flavor was good. (I am very picky about hummus). And it is worth buying some Togo. The service was good they offered us complementary dates. The food came out super quick. Cute outdoor seating and indoor seating as well. I will definitely come back again. I want to try the Manakish next time I come. It looked good online.

Yelp
Authentic and flavorful food. Great service! Amer was nice and communicative. Available parking! Arabic music! Nice ethnic decor elements. Will come back for sure!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night around 7:30 with friends. It was pretty easy to get parking and it was empty inside. It's a pretty casual vibe, nice to come for lunch with coworkers. The man helping me order was super friendly cus I didn't know what to order cus everything looked so good . The food came out in like 15 minutes. I got the tri tip shawarma fries, chicken shawarma bowl, and the lahm bahjin. My eyes were def bigger than my stomach cus I ordered all this for my husband and I. I thought we could finish in but the portions were actually quite big. I wasn't expecting that at all. But honestly everything tasted so good. I wish I could have tried more things but it was so filling haha. I will def come back to try more things!!

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Omg the snack sensei was on point about this place! Everything was so tasty. The food was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Between 4 people we shared the zataar and cheese manakish, the chicken shawarma wrap and fries, and a falafel bowl. The manakish was unlike anything I've ever tasted and by far my favorite thing! The entire menu looks amazing and I can't wait to try everything!

Yelp
ahhh...social media finds... Most of the time Social Media is not the best thing, but sometimes it can reveal some hidden gems. I caught a clip on IG of a local Palestinian spot in SJ...at least that's what the short vid claimed. I was intrigued...I'm not familiar with Palestinian food. I had to give it a try. Apparently this is their second location, there is another is in Walnut Creek. I'm familiar with the location of this venue. Former home to Sultan Bakery, which I did not find impressive...regardless of the high ratings. Parking is challenging in that area, luckily I snagged a spot on the street in front of the restaurant. There is a decent amount of seating inside and an outdoor seating area as well. Bright, Clean and inviting, they definitely redid the interior. #MediterraneanEats: ~ MANAKISH FLATBREADS: - Lahn-bajin - 4/5 I wasn't so sure what was classified as a Flatbread, looks like a pizza to me. But you'll understand when you bite into it. It's different, almost like a think crust NY pizza. A good amount of beef in it, heartier and heavier that it looks. ~ FATTEH BOWLS: - Chicken Shwarma (w/ Half and Half) - 4/5 A good size bowl. We opted for the Half and Half option...best of both worlds; Salad & Rice. Generous portions! The Bowl had a good amount of food, Juicy flavorful Chicken with Creamy Humus...delish! ~ DESSERT: - Cheese Kanafeh - 4/5 I was a bit bummed out they didn't have Ice Cream. This would have been amazing with some Ice Cream...not that it wasn't already brilliant! It would transcend to the next level. I originally wanted a Falafel bowl, but they were out of Falafels. Oh well, next time! Very satisfied with the food we ordered, now I'll just need to come back and try the rest of menu.

Yelp
Ordered for pick up through their website and it was super easy. Ordered: Tri Tip plate, Veggie Supreme Manakish & Harissa Fries (My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach.) Then while I was in there, I couldn't resist pick up a Cilantro & Jalapeno hummus and some of their cool assortment of drinks! Service was super friendly and I loved the interior, will have to make the time to eat there one of these days because I will definitely be going back!
google avatar

Nat S.

Yelp
I ordered the Tri-tip Shawarma Bowl with the fresh greens and it was a huge serving and really good. They give you a generous portion of meat. It was pull apart tender. The greens were nice and fresh and the meat had a good flavor. The hummus and tomato and cucumber salad were both really good too. It made for two very filling meals. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I also ordered the Cilantro Jalapeño Hummus and Labne to take home for later. Both were excellent. They filled the containers to the brim and they give you a good amount of pita for dipping. I definitely will order from them again. I can't wait to try their Manakish and their chicken shawarma. This is definitely a spot worth checking out.
google avatar

Marwan A.

Yelp
In general the food at this place is good. I would go more often if it want for the pricing. The zaatar/cheese/meat pies are ridiculously priced too high. I am certain this restaurant would do better (volume and profit) if they price correctly, because the food is good, just not more than $20 per pie good. Ambience is like a fast food restaurant, not bad. Service is normal. If they fix their pricing they would have more customers for sure.
google avatar

Meena B.

Yelp
Location: easy access from freeway. But the location has very limited parking, say about 8-10 parking space. Cuisine: lebanese/palestinian Ambience: very bright, very neat and clean interiors and set up. Traditional cultural pictures. They even have a cute outdoor seating which is surrounded by beautiful shrubs Service: Yazan the gentleman at the counter was very friendly, pleasant and super helpful. When we said we are vegetarians, he recommended us few options to pick from. Food: The food came pretty quick. The flatbread base in itself was very fresh and soft. It wasn't greasy or heavy. The zaatar and the cucumber salad was very flavorful. Kefir dressing gave a nice tang. I personally would have loved some crushed red chili flakes to sprinkle on top to balance the flavors but sadly they didn't have it. The falafels were crispy on the top and soft on the inside and they were well cooked and fresh. Cheese Kanafe, dessert, was warm, crispy and chewy and just the right amount of sweetness. Overall the experience was great. I will go back there to try the other vegetarian flatbreads and dishes. Highly recommend this place. They even have a location in Walnut Creek.
google avatar

Kelly H.

Yelp
We've been here two times since seeing a TikTok about it. The food is so good and the portions are large enough for us to have left overs for the next day. So far we've had the chicken shawarma bowl, the chicken kebab salad, the lamb kebab wrap and the lamb kebab plate. The fries are so good too. I'm excited to try the other items on the menu. Also the workers are very friendly and the place has a lot of room inside.
google avatar

Emily L.

Yelp
Trendy on social media, I finally got to try this place! It has a lot of potential but it still isn't executed to a t yet. I got the chicken kebab plate - the chicken fell short as it was very dry and not very seasoned. I enjoyed the rice, hummus, cucumber/tomato salad. Chicken shawarama fries - I didn't like the sauce on the fries. It tasted a bit sour. I like the house sauce more. It's the white garlicky one. It was much more palatable. Portions are huge and great for sharing!
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
Happened upon this spot when we went to drop donations at Salvation Army and we're already discussing going back. Favorite item was actually the mint lemonade, but our bowl and wrap were both excellent.
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
It is so good here! Recently tried the chicken kebab plate and the lahm-bajin manakish and both were so good! The kebab plate came with SO much food and good things like the delicious hummus, plenty of pita, pickled veggies, and a large portion of rice. Oh plus some cucumber salad. The chicken was seasoned well and cooked well and not dry. The garlic sauce is a great accompaniment to the flavors and textures. For $21 it is enough for two meals. The lamb manakish was my favorite so far! Savory, hot and cheesy. I love their food here and they are so nice. Grab a fruity soda, too!
google avatar

Katrina V.

Yelp
Manakish Oven & Grill was suggested to me by one of my close friends, and she came through with the recommendation. I ordered two manakishes for a scheduled delivery at 6pm on a Sunday. Not sure what courier service the restaurant uses, but the driver legitimately arrived at our doorstep on the dot. I've never had manakish, so I was really excited to try the food. The lahmbajin manakish consisted of ground beef, bell peppers, onion, seven spice, and ground cardamom. The flavors were so aromatic, and it tasted incredible. I also really enjoyed the (extra) cheese and olive manakish. The bread that was used like crust looked like Italian pizza crust but had a softer and more doughy texture. The manakish came with sides of white sauce that was kind of like a tahini and a spicy red sauce. Both were good complements to the manakish.
google avatar

Paula B.

Yelp
Okay, This place has the BEST Falafel I have ever had. (I love falafel) The wrap was loaded perfectly. The tahini was so smooth. The hot sause was perfect. My partner had the chicken Sharma bowl. Also fantastic. Seriously healthy serving. I can't wait to go again !!
google avatar

Jasmine P.

Yelp
Manakish has graced us with their presence in San Jose! We went the day after their soft opening and were greeted very kindly. We got the za'atar and cheese manakish and it was SO flavorful. Their za'atar mixture was like an explosion of flavor in your mouth, it tasted so fresh. We also got the chicken shawarma bowl, we were given so much chicken and hummus (yum!) and it was so delicious. The chicken itself was marinated wonderfully and was so juicy. Both of the items we chose had huge portions, great for sharing with family and friends! I love the olive tree in the corner and the bright, vibrant colors of the furniture. I'll definitely be back to try all the manakish they have to offer.
google avatar

Alison J.

Yelp
Manakish is at the busy intersection of Stockton Ave and Taylor St. Pro tip - there's parking lot just past the sign, before the turn. The food is great! The person behind the counter fielded my questions with good humor. I ordered the tri-tip bowl with greens and rice, and sides of hummus and baba ghanoush for later. I also got the mint lemonade, which was refreshing, fresh and flavorful. Everything tastes fresh, and the portions are ample. I'll be back to try more dishes!

KombuchaGram M.

Yelp
Excellent amazing food. So fresh, so clean, and SO DELICIOUS. They treated us with respect and care. Will hands down be going back. It so good to eat REAL FOOD! 10/10

Yahya G.

Yelp
Manakish Oven & Grill is hands down one of the best Mediterranean restaurants around! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. Their manakish is absolutely perfect -- soft, warm, and topped with just the right amount of za'atar and cheese. The chicken shawarma is bursting with authentic spices that taste just like home. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming -- you can truly feel how much they care about every guest. Service is quick, efficient, and always with a smile. The cozy, clean atmosphere makes it the perfect spot whether you're grabbing takeout or dining in with friends. This place is a gem! Highly recommended -- I'll definitely be coming back again!
google avatar

Diana L.

Yelp
Randomly scrolled through TikTok to find out the local small business is going through a rough patch. Tried my best as well to repost and get the word around to have people visit this spot. Let me tell you, I've NEVER had Mediterranean food until the day I went into manakish! The ambiance was lovely and well decorated. The service was amazing. We had a lot of the food on the menu. I thank the workers there, there were swamped that day but they did amazing to take care of every single client inside. I'd recommend anyone to go and try their food. The food was amazing
google avatar

Samy A.

Yelp
Omg this place is bomb It's a flatbread, but it's off. It's super authentic! Went with my gf last night we had the chicken shawarma cheese, fries, and the Lam bahjin we went to town and ate so much. The owner was super friendly super nice played some Egyptian music for us. This place is super clean and highly recommended it

Helena T.

Yelp
This reminds me of some good old delicious home cooking by my Palestinian friend's Mom. They moved away, but thankfully this place is around so I can get my Middle Eastern fix. The hummus is fresh and food is wonderful. The kebab and baklava was delicious. Friendly service.
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
The pita bread was delishous. A light and fluffy pillow of flavor that soaked up the freshest hummus I've ever had. We ordered 2 more orders of the pita as a matter of fact. Service was very great considering we arrived around 8 pm. They discussed the food answered questions about all the items. We sat outside it was a warm evening but well lit tables outside clean and a heater near by. This place is tucked away off of Stockton in the corner don't drive to fast or you'll miss it. Reasonable prices . Go get some

Yelp
Manakish is a family favorite! We come down to San Jose from East Bay because I'm a Dubai native and their Manakish gives me my dose of home. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and street parking is usually available. Service is quick and staff is very friendly and make conversation each time we're there. We're vegetarian, but we have lots of options to choose from. Their Zaatar manakish is our favorite: it comes with cheese and Kalamata olives and tastes just like I've had back home in Dubai! We also get their falafel, hummus, fatthoush salad and fries. The "icing on the cake" moment though is their Kanafe. OMG THE BEST! We've always had a lovely experience with good music, food and service. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Excellent food, service and ambiance. One of the Mediterranean restaurants i have been to. Food was very fresh. I wasn't even hungry but I ended up cleaning my plate. I had the chicken kebab plate, my partner had the lamb plate and that was superb. Mo was running the restaurant the night we went and he was very friendly and kind. Must try!

Yelp
First time tasting great food in Manakish oven and grill loved it and the great costumer service. Tasty food . Recommend

Khaled G.

Yelp
What an unexpected experience that I will definitely repeat! My first step into Manakish felt like I was transported to the streets of Beirut Lebanon from the friendly service, decor and the smell of fresh bread and zaa'tar. The smells were tempting, but we were in a low carb day so We decided to start with a light and refreshing fatosh salad - an herbatious, zesty, and texturally pleasing salad. At this point we were excited for the next order, a falafel wrap. Were very particular with our falafel, but these were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The ratios of chickpeas to herbs were just right and the selection of pickles, vegetables and sauce complement them nicely! The toughest part of dieting has been finding a good balance of tasty and healthy. Manakish checks off all those boxes! We're looking forward to coming back and try their flat breads and kebobs on a cheat day!

Le D.

Yelp
So fresh, so tasty - great quality. The patio and dining room are comfortable, clean, and bright. They really care for the food they prepare and their customers' delight.

Yelp
Oh. my. gosh. Amazeballs. Vegan & vegetarian dishes which excite. Check! Meat options which my family loves. Check! Kid-friendly. Check! Deserts and pastries to surprise and enchant - check! Super-nice staff. Check! Compostable carry-out containers - wow! Try the eggplant pizza with hummus sauce - wow, that is a new elevation of the pizza concept. Beautiful outdoor patio area, very nice indoor vibe, a great spot.

I will say it seems a bit pricey but the portions are enough for two people. Not only are the portions generous, the food is beyond yummy and service is friendly. Everything recommended has been outstanding - really enjoy this place.

Yelp
I wanted to get something Halal today. I'm in Silicon Valley this evening. I'm at Manakish Oven & Grill. It's right next to a bunch of Mechanic Shops. Some other people out there said they don't like Falafel, but I always liked Falafel. As much as I like Gyros, Kabob, and Shawarma, I think there's so much more to Mediterranean cuisine. I like Falafel as much as Hummus, Dolmas, Baklava, Bò Nướng Lá Lốt, and Pâté Chaud. I went with the Falafel Bowl. Everything was fresh. The Falafel was flavorful, and crunchy. And this is my first time, having Adaptogen Ashwagandha Reishi Ginseng Peach Ginger Black Tea, it's like a lighter Passion juice, it's refreshing. I give this 4.2 stars.

Yelp
SO GOOD!!!! The flavors are amazing, the staff always friendly. And don't forget to get the baklava! A wonderful spot just off from downtown.

Yelp
This counter-service restaurant was a pleasant surprise for us. The variety of halal Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food was extensive. The preparation was fresh and delicious. Lamb, beef, and chicken dishes were well prepared and tasty, and the prices were extremely reasonable. This is not "fine dining," in this unassuming dining space, but for lunch or an informal supper, or takeout, one could hardly do better than this excellent restaurant. The location is a bit out of the way, but it is definitely worth a trip for the fine food and service.

Yelp
I'll start off with saying I was so excited for this place after I saw them on Instagram especially since they opened up a new location in San Jose. I was really looking forward to the Kanefah but also just trying all the different foods in general. This was my first time there so I ordered my food to go which was the Lamb kebab plate and the Tri-tip shawarma salad with the cheese Kanefah . I took my order to go and when I got home I noticed they forgot to pack my Kanefah. The main reason I went here to begin with. The Lamb was delicious, the humus was also very good except for a handful of pita bread that was included (may need to add some more). The Tri-tip for me was a little bit dry but it was ok. It could maybe use a little more flavor, or perhaps a touch more salt (IMO) . Anyways, they were really nice about the mistake and said I could pick it up which I did the next day. I picked it up after work since it's on my way home. Sadly when I got home I tried to cut into it I noticed the entire bottom was completely burnt, which I think was supposed to be the cheese (see my pic). The entire thing was dry and hard. Not sure what happened but this was really disappointing. I will say I will give it another try sometime in the future with the hope that they can redeem themselves.

Yelp
I'm very unsatisfied with this location simply for the fact that the manakish website ordering is confusing. I ordered online pickup thinking I was ordering in the San Jose location. When I arrived to pick up my order I was inconvenienced and told to ask for a refund which typically takes 3 days to be returned. The cashier was happy to make my order at the San Jose location but due to the refund taking a few days to be refunded I was unable to pay for my order.

Yelp
Even we went there a half an hour before closing, the food and service were great. The food was flavorful and abundant. The beef was especially yummy.

Yelp
Big portions of food with wonderful flavor! The bowl lasted me multiple meals lol. Lots of seating with a cute patio area. Good service, food did not take particularly long.
