The Best Things To Eat At Citizens Bank Park

"Locations: Ashburn Alley (outfield), Liberty Landing (section 143), Pass & Stow Restaurant (3rd base gate), Section 137, Hall of Fame Club section 212 A taste of the Jersey Shore without having to sift through boardwalk traffic or fend off seagulls? Sign us up. This is easily the best pizza at the park—a thin, crispy crust, Manco & Manco’s sweet tomato sauce swirling in the center, and classic toppings like pepperoni and sausage. Plus, they’ve made them personal sized, so you can easily devour them from your lap while boogying to Seranthony Dominguez’s walk-out music." - alison kessler, candis mclean

Garbage pizza!!!! - cracker like dough, too hard and burnt to even chew, dry cheese and sauce and Lunchable like pepperoni — you can throw your $20 in the trash now or throw the pizza out after buying it - you would be doing yourself a favor if you just didn’t buy this trash in a box

Google
Horrible product, I got a personal pepperoni pie, 21 dollars??? If it was Galway’s decent I wouldn’t mind. I don’t think there was a single drop of sauce on the damn pizza. This was seriously the worst pizza I have ever had, especially growing up eating Mac& mancos all the time. Shane on you guys

I was here last year. After I saw all the bad reviews I figured it would suck. It was actually one of the best pizzas I ever had. Maybe these people are drunk leaving reviews. Most drunk people will eat anything so who knows GREAT PIZZA

Ben Kranefeld

Google
Honestly, not that good of a pizza (and I've been to and reviewed many pizza joints). I get it, it's ballpark food, but I was never a fan of Manco & Manco to begin with. The pizza is very small, and way overpriced! The crust is thin and crisp which is a plus, but the sauce is flavorless and over-spiced, and there is way too much cheese. Try it if you dare, to say you've had Manco & Manco at Citizens Bank Park, but be prepared for a big let down in the end...

Google
Absolutely garbage. Coming from a jersey girl. This was a flat bread basically. My jaw hurt from eating it. There was no crush was basically a tortilla with cheese. This is disrespectful towards the boardwalk pizza

Ralph Kramden

Google
I didn't think it would be as good as their boardwalk pie, but it came pretty close. Price is reasonable too. A medium size pie with six slices (only size they sell) goes for about $16 bucks. Good deal and a great addition to the ballpark!

Had at the ball game last night. Did not disappoint. Good Jersey pizza, thin crust and very tasty. I love that you can get this at the Phillies game.

It’s really hit or miss with this manco and manco location sometimes it taste better than the other locations, sometimes it taste the worst out of all the locations. Still not that bad for stadium food.

Yelp
Okay.....so......I believe the picture says it all. I was also going to say that this was likely going to be an unpopular opinion, considering the legendary status of Manco & Manco when considering "boardwalk shore pizza" but I don't really know what happened here. I was at the Phillies game at Citizen's Bank Park for the first game I have gone to in many years and I was immediately blown away by all the food choices that are there now. Part of me is now bothered that we didn't choose one of the various other spots that looked like they were offering delicious choices. However, we didn't want to spend too much time invested in getting a meal and were more concerned with grabbing a cold brew and finding our seats, so the thought was that this would fit the bill. Let me start with the fact that the ordering was surprisingly easy, and the line wasn't insane, or jammed into some corner. The price also wasn't as wildly over-the-top as I had expected it to be, and the thought of enjoying a nice hot personal pizza on the standing deck while overlooking the field was a pretty sweet prospect. The flavors were not completely off or anything either. The cheese and sauce actually seemed to be of quality, although, they were not distributed all that well, and were patchy at best in spots. The real problem with the whole experience was the crust. Anyone who enjoys pizza knows that the crust is paramount! It was so burnt and essentially flavorless, other than the offputting notes of charcoaled dough, that it stole any of the redeeming qualities of the pie right out from under its feet. Somewhere between a bunch of crackers overly toasted over an outdoor fire and something you've forgotten about on the grill for way too long, much of this was just a struggle to crunch through and none of the enjoyment of cheesy goodness one expects. Unfortunately, the next time I return for a game or any other event at CBP, I will make sure to be far, far away from Manco & Manco's and try out something else in the large selection here!

Yelp
I'm appreciative for anything GF especially at the ball park but really??? Gluten free pepperoni pizza and I didn't say half pepperoni

Robert R.

Yelp
Paper thin Sauce and cheese was scarce Weee maybe 7 pepperoni pieces total Rip off

Yelp
For ballpark food I feel like Manco & Manco in CBP isn't bad. It tastes good and I feel like the price is reasonable for the venue. You're just not getting the same product you'd be getting on the boardwalk. The crust is a super thin cracker crust. It easily beats the Papa John's personal pies my concession stand occasionally sold when I worked at the Linc. This wasn't the first time I had Manco & Manco at CBP and assuming they're back next season I'm sure it won't be my last time.

Yelp
If I could leave 0 stars I would. This pizza was absolutely disgusting. I understand it's ballpark pizza, but for the price you're paying, it should've have made me and my son sick. I do not recommend getting this at the Phillies games AT all! Go Red Sox!

Yelp
Last night I bought one plain pizza, one white pizza, bucket of wings to go. Price in my visa was 127.00. We were rushing so didn't listen or look. Highway robbery!!! So we paid about 40.00 for each item!!! Check your receipts!!!

Yelp
The plain pizza my gf and I shared was phenomenal! It tasted just like the ones I have had in NJ. They lost a star for erroneously telling me that I couldn't use my Phillies power ticket, which you get twelve dollars to use that cost you ten dollars. You can use the power ticket anywhere in Citizens Bank Park.

Yelp
This is not authentic Manco and Manco pizza. Anyone who knows boardwalk Manco and Manco (or Mack and Manco) knows what it is supposed to taste like. This was like eating a cracker with sauce and cheese on top. You get fooled at first because it looks almost right and the sauce taste the same but that's where the similarities end. It cost $14 for a personal pizza and we only choked them down because we paid that much. Save your money and get a cheesesteak, hot dog, or anything else. Wait until Ocean City trip to get your Manco and Manco pizza so it it is not ruined by this fake cardboard imposter.

Yelp
Mack's pizza is the best pizza in the world!!! There is no other pizza that even comes close!!!

Yelp
I would not even give the pizza (or whatever that stuff is supposed to be any stars for what they make at the Phillies baseball park. There are three locations there and I would not even call whatever that was pizza. It was dry, warm and tasteless it is like committing fraud. They are hurting their family name and reputation selling that thing in a box. I would move those locations out of the park, I am not even sure they are making whatever they call that in the park. It bad it's overpriced and the family is hurting their band just to make a few buck. Stick with a hot dog, crackerjacks and peanuts. They advertised it on local radio stations like it is the same as you would get on the boardwalk in OC. It is not worth the time you spend waiting in line. I can make better pizza with bread, sauce, and cheese in my toaster oven or frozen pizza from a box. I had not put a star or Yelp would not even let me post my review. Sad day for the Manco and Manco family. And their business customer service person know this, look at the very last review on this page suggesting that you visit an Ocean City Location. It is all about a money grab for the Manco family on customers that are think they are getting the same pizza in Ocean City.

Yelp
Always my favorite place to eat in OCNJ! Obsessed with the white pizza, but the plain pies are great too.

Roe R.

Yelp
ORDERED Cheese pizza from Manco @ Citizens Bank park. Was worst pizza ever! It was eating a liitle cheese & sauce on top of a Cracker.

Jeff R.

Yelp
OVERCOOKED! Crust is too well done and too much sauce. No where near the boardwalk M&M. These pies are par baked and reheated at the stadium. Not worth the money or the one to two innings you miss standing in line.

Trish B.

Yelp
I usually bring my own food to the stadium. I will do it from now on. I had Manco & manco pizza last night. It was terrible. It tasted like tomato sauce on a burnt cracker.

Donna B.

Yelp
We had a pizza on 7th street. Last week not as good as It always was. The crust has changed and less sauce. I was really disappointed

Grant M.

Yelp
If I could give this zero stars, I would. I have no idea how their pizza is at their brick and mortar stores at the Jersey shore. That being said, their pizza at Citizens Bank Park is among the worst I have ever tasted. I have had better pizza after midnight at a 7-11. Whether this is due to Aramark's incompetence (they operate the stand) or a lack of oversight by the Manco & Manco owners, I would be ashamed at putting this product out. It is just utterly horrible and if I were the owner, with my name up in shining lights, I would take a flame thrower to the stand and never let them open again. It is ruining the fine reputation of a Jersey Shore mainstay. I truly hope that at some point soon, someone takes control of the stand and makes a product worthy of both the high price and the reputation that the name is meant to project.
