A west‑side fixture since 1997 from the third‑generation Mancy family, known for handmade pastas, chops, and a lively bar. WTOL 11 reported in February 2024 the restaurant is staying on Monroe Street, underscoring its deep local roots.

When my brother asked me what’s kind of food I wanted for dinner, I didn’t realize he had eaten Italian the night before. I only realized that fact when the waitress who had served him the previous night remembered him - and his order. Our waitress was Nikki (Nicole) and she was fabulous. She was informative and very attentive. Great waitress. I split a chicken Parmesan with my brother in law. It was great. The chicken was moist and crispy. The pasta and sauce were perfect. My brother had spaghetti bolognese. My friend had a margarita pizza. They each loved their order. We had pray martinis that were to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant.

In all of my 661 reviews of restaurants i gotta say this is one of the few times I give a restaurant a 9.5 outta 10. We came here on a whim from Michigan for a date night and from the beginning we knew it was the right choice. Our waitress Dina was very attentive and made sure we had water and bread throughout the night. It had a great crust and soft inside. The butter was flavorful and whipped with herbs that you could taste. The oil that came with it was ok. I'd stick to the butter. I got the chicken picatta and it was packed with flavor. That lemon herb butter sauce was perfect and balanced the dish. For dessert got the limoncello cheesecake and it was phenomenal. Such a wonderful date night and great restaurant. Definitely coming back.

If I could describe Mancy's in one word it would be "delicious." But that is only one aspect of this restaurant. The decor is warm and inviting. The lighting fully compliments the elegance of the dark wood. Mancy's is the perfect place for impressing your date or a business client. The staff is as exceptional as the food. We've been there several times and have never been disappointed. Mancy's is well worth a visit if you like fine dining.

There are barely enough adjectives to describe how incredible Mancy’s Italian is. The dining area has a lot of ambiance, cozy booths, romantic lighting, classy artwork. Hostess greeted us warmly, asked our seating preference. Our waitress arrived within 10-15 seconds with ice water and offered a wine list/cocktail menu. Nice wine list with plenty of by the glass options. (They have a bottle shop attached to the restaurant). Drinks were served within a few minutes, waitress brought bread with dipping oil at the same time. For our appetizer we chose to split the zucchini bruschetta and it was delicious, will definitely be attempting at home. Della casa salad was excellent - fresh, crispy lettuce with a light and flavorful dressing served on chilled plates (which I really appreciate). Hubs had the summer squash pasta with added grilled chicken. I had the diavolo pasta - perfectly cooked lobster and shrimp, asparagus and mushrooms in a spicy lobster sauce - saying it was incred doesn’t do it justice. Would definitely order again. Both the service and the food definitely live up to the Mancy reputation!

I thought food was good, menu seemed small. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. Chicken was cooked to perfection. Others got pinwheel, pasta, salmon. Service seemed slow. Brought bread without dipping oil, we had to ask. Wait between courses seemed long. Ambiance is average. Everything looked old, lighting was yellow-ish. Definitely could use a face-lift.

Google
Highly recommend reservations *The food was amazing! Started with the appetizer which we chose the Brussel sprouts and the Caprese both were delicious. The vesuvio was amazing the shrimp had such a great texture and flavor the sausage in this dish can be on the spicy side well balanced with the sauce though. Last we had tiramisu omg delicious. Over all great food great service great atmosphere.

1st time visiting and it was very good! I celebrated my 57th birthday. We had a reservation which really wasn’t needed. We were seated immediately. Our server was Brie and she was awesome. We started with pepperoni pizza for the appetizer. It was fresh and delicious. The house salad was crisp with a very tasty dressing. My husband had the Caesar salad with a chicken breast. I had the lobster and shrimp pasta with mushrooms and asparagus in a spicy sauce. All the food was perfect. I also enjoyed a glass of sparkling Moscato wine, it was delicious. Since it was my birthday, $15 was taken off the bill. I had y to I show my ID which wasn’t a problem. We’ll definitely be back!

Yelp
Mancy's Italian Grill has the potential to be my favorite restaurant -- and on its best days, it absolutely is. When the kitchen is on point, the food is incredible. The NY strip with Alfredo and green beans is a personal favorite; the steak is always cooked perfectly, and the combination is rich and satisfying. The lemon raspberry martinis are a standout, and the warm bread with rosemary butter is a great start to the meal. That said, consistency can be hit or miss. There have been visits where the flavors fell flat or dishes lacked the usual spark. Still, when Mancy's gets it right, it's some of the best food I've had. I keep coming back, hoping for one of those great nights -- and when it happens, it's worth it.

Yelp
The ambiance at Mancy's Italian is higher end but comfortable. I've been here many times over the years and service has always been excellent, as it was on my most recent visit. I ordered a salmon dinner that came with a house salad and small red potatoes. The salad was fresh and delicious. The salmon was a bit cooler- like it had been ready for a while before served. Also, the quality of the salmon was a bit on the fatty side and I cut off some sections. Seasoning was good and portion size was average; I didn't take home any leftovers. Definitely recommend but would order something else next time.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to go while I'm in Toledo! We came here this time to celebrate my sisters birthday, and we left in food coma. The apps are my favorite part here, this time we got brushetta on garlic bread (we were so excited to eat it that I forgot to take a picture lol). I'm also a big fan of their Alfredo sauce! We were going to a drive in movie after so we were in a hurry, and all the food came out fast. Our waitress was very sweet as well. Restaurant itself is pretty big, but on weekends it does get pretty busy!

Yelp
Good ambiance for a romantic date, and very friendly servers! The food was very good as well. It's not a cheap dinner, but the food and vibes were great; I would go back if I was in the area. Good wine and cocktails too ;)
google avatar

Yelp
Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Alfredo were both amazing, as was the Old Fashioned cocktail and the Pear cocktail. Service was spot-on, and we felt very well taken care of. Definitely would return for a great Italian dinner experience!

Yelp
Been coming here for years! Excellent Italian food, steaks are highly recommended, and the happy hour pizza is a must! Good friends with the staff, and one of the coziest restaurants in town to meet up with friends at!

Yelp
Ick. Just bad Italian food. Better off going to Olive Garden if you want mediocre Italian. Service was good but food was flavorless, overpriced and very un special. Drinks were strong. Recommend the Paper Plane cocktail to forget about how bad the food is.

Yelp
I have not ever had a good experience atMancys Italian Grill!! It's way over priced, poor preparation & presentation! Husband & I shared pizza & Caesar salad. Not Good!!

Yelp
Haven't been to Mancy's Italian in about three years, as I thought their menu had gotten a bit tired, but a work gift certificate brought me back, and I'm glad I returned! For drinks, our waitress, though nice and attentive, didn't provide much guidance. After scanning the menu, I went for the cinnamon brown sugar old fashioned--delicious, albeit a tad sweet, but it is brown sugar infused so not surprised. The boyfriend opted for the white wine from their 'highlight' items menu, a good Pinot Grigio, nothing extraordinary but still tasty. As for appetizers, we tried the arancini and both got the Della Casa salad. The salad, with its sweet vinaigrette and salty bacon, was just as I remembered--light and fresh. The arancini, light and fluffy with a pesto twist, were a pleasant surprise. They also served warm bread and oil and butter, a nice touch as I know they've tried changing their bread over the past couple decades. It was nice to see the classic back as the oil wasn't an option the last time I was there. Moving on to the main course, I chose the baked tortellini (chef's special), and the boyfriend went for the polo alfredo. The alfredo was a significant upgrade from past experiences--delicious mushrooms and spinach, perfectly cooked noodles, and a creamy balance. My tortellini with red pepper sauce was enjoyable, but the chicken was a bit bland. It reminded me of bland boiled shredded chicken. The red pepper sauce and mushrooms and spinach were really good but the dish lacked depth of flavor. Maybe some garlic, salt, pepper, or red pepper flakes could enhance the flavor. Dessert was the limoncello cheesecake. Flavor-wise, it was a perfect 10--the lemon curd was creamy and tart where I feel some restaurants are scared of too much lemon, they nailed it here. However, the texture of both the cheesecake and crust was a bit grainy, earning it a 7/10 for execution. Despite the texture issue, I'd order it again in a heartbeat Overall, I'd rate the experience a 7.5/10. Really a 3.75/5 stars for taste but can't leave halves here. The ambiance is a bit dated, but the overall atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The waitstaff, though friendly and attentive, could add a touch more personalization. I'd say if you've been here in the past, and thought the same as I did in the beginning give it another go. They've definitely made some upgrades to the food and I am excited to go back and try more!

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in Toledo. Delicious home made pasta. Great atmosphere.

Yelp
Food is good, but not great. They no longer give you garlic, my husband was disappointed but they did make it upon his request... so that was good. We had to ask for the bread (that every other table had already, but after our app we still didn't get). Service was decent. I think the table that came in after us got full service and we were the after thought, but I guess that happens... sure glad the 10 top came in as we were leaving though! It's quaint, business casual atmosphere and I had fun dressing up a bit to go out... so a win! Lol
google avatar

Trent N.

Yelp
Service was not great. We had a reservation at 7p. We did arrive at 7:05-7:10 and were told our table would be ready soon. 30-45 min. later still not seated. The bartender told us there was a seat yourself area that had servers so we decided to sit there with our drinks from the bar. Another 15 minutes with no server to our table. Finally talked to a manager to get someone to wait on us. It did not appear to be really busy but maybe it was just that or the fact that we were 5-10 minutes past our reservation time. Otherwise the food was excellent.

Yelp
Food was amazing- our server was attentive and kind. I ordered the chef recommend ravioli and my date had pizza. Both were amazing! Loved the entrance and the dining room. I did see another dining room that was a bit dated; we didn't sit there. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Loved this place. Exceptional food and service. I started with the Roasted Beets ($12.00) it was diced served on Baby Arugula, with Fried Goat Cheese, and Pistachio Dressing. My partner had the Della Casa with Romaine, Gorgonzola, Bacon, Red Onion, and a Sweet Vinaigrette. He raved and raved on the dressing. For dinner he had the Diavolo ($33.00) that had homemade Mafaldine Pasta, with Lobster, Shrimp, Asparagus, and Mushroom, served with a Spicy Lobster Sauce. He also enjoyed a very nice glass of red wine but don't recall which one off hand. I enjoyed the Vesuvio ($27.00) which was Homemade Casarecce Pasta, Shrimp, Fennel Sausage, Fresno Pepper & Rapini, Garlic Cream. I am not usually a fan of shrimp with pasta but decided to just go for it and so happy I did. It was so good. For his Birthday dessert we shared the Tiramisu ($9.00) described as Espresso & Rum Dipped Ladyfingers, Mascarpone Cream, and a Callebaut Chocolate Sauce. Of course it was good! The only negative aspect that troubled me was no one wore a mask. Not one employee that I saw. It really bothered me and gave a bad vibe but I will express that here in the review, but in terms of food and service it was great so I really need to go with the 5 stars to be fair. They really could do better with masks and public health and safety in that aspect. The main focus is the service was wonderful and quality of food and the flavor were so delicious. It made for a nice place to celebrate my partners birthday. I would absolutely recommend dinning here. Perfect for special occasions or just a nice meal.

Yelp
We got the Bianco Pizza and the Pollo Parmesan the food was wonderful but unfortunately service was not the best. We had a reservation for 5 on Saturday and when we walked in we got sat in their "overflow" bottle shop... a little less romantic of a setting with lots of bright yellow lighting. With a reservation we expected to be able to sit in the nicer part of the restaurant, but no big deal. We also only had our waters filled once, spent most of the time with them empty. We're definitely not ones too complain, but we are a long distance couple who haven't had a proper date in a really long time, so we were looking forward to a romantic dinner. Overall food was great and we recommend :)

Yelp
By design, Mancy's Italian offers a specific point of view when it comes to Italian food, and if you're a fan of any other Mancy's establishment, you'll probably love this restaurant as well. For over 20 years, the Italian Grill has offered a finer dining experience, with a very welcoming atmosphere and a wildly approachable menu paired with some notably fantastic wines. And speaking of wines, make sure you swing by the bottle shop. It's managed by an awesome young lady named Zoe who will expertly send you home with a bottle of something you've never heard of before but have been waiting your whole life to try, and if you ask nice and make a reservation, you can even grab a table for dinner in the shop. After taking quite a long break between visits, our recent dinner confirmed that the kitchen is continuing to push out homemade, high quality meals with portions that won't make you second guess the slightly spendy (for Toledo) ticket price. My entree of blackened Hallibut, served on a bed of grains and a summer succotash, with tarragon Butter was really, really delicious. This spot gets very busy, so consider making a reservation. It's a great place to take a really hungry date, or if family are visiting you and they are picking up the bill. Mancy's Italian comes recommended in my book.

Yelp
So, went there on Saturday for dinner. This is my 4th (or 5th) time at this restaurant and I can say the place has never been great. We arrived around 5:30 and they weren't busy so we were seated right away. Our waitress came over and took our drink orders and we perused the menu. Some of the entrees looked pretty good! I was going to order the Diavolo, but I noticed that it didn't come with a salad - something like a $6 upcharge for that. I noticed that there are 3 pasta dishes that do come with a salad, so I opted for the Pollo Picatta (the other 2 were chicken marsala and chicken parm). MISTAKE... The dish had no sauce at all (it's supposed to have a lemon butter sauce). The chicken was probably done 10 minutes before they took it off of the grill. The description also noted prosciutto and I couldn't find any. It was dry, tasteless, under seasoned and oily. To be fair, the pasta was well cooked and the dish did have plenty of capers and artichokes. Backing up a little, the martini was fine. The house salad was delicious. The bread was acceptable, but not great. Our waitress was great. Oh, another issue is the entrees came out when we were still eating our salads. I don't think we were halfway through them and here comes the server with the entrees. If they were busy and really needed the table, I'd still be PO'd, but I would understand rushing us a little more. Not sure if that was a kitchen expeditor issue or if the waitress screwed that up. So, at the end of the day, 2 martinis, 2 entrees, 2 coffees (the coffee was really good) and the tip came to $100.00. It'll probably be another 7 or 8 years before I go back and I'll probably have the same experience. I know the steak house and Shorty's are the only 2 restaurants in the Mancy portfolio that are worth it, but I throw caution to the wind every once in a while, suffer a lapse in judgement, and go to some of their other places. Disappointment ensues and I leave scarred, hungry and always (at least) a hundred bucks poorer. If you want a good Italian meal in Toledo, go to Adrian, Michigan and try Sauce. That or get an Italian cookbook and make it yourself. This stuff isn't that hard to cook and I'm sure any novice that can read could do just as well.

Yelp
Lived in Toledo my whole life but haven't been to all of the Mancy's location yet. Figured it was time to try their Italian location before they closed and potentially relocated. Staff was very friendly and the service was good. I ordered the pollo Alfredo and was very impressed with it. I'd order it again. Was a little surprised we had to ask for bread for the table. Decided to splurge on dessert and order the limoncello cheesecake. Talk about an absolute miss. It wasn't creamy and just was disappointing all over the place. I'd happily go back again but skip dessert this time.

Cheryl S.

Yelp
Huge disappointment! Used to love coming here but tonight was a huge let down. First table we were sat at had a big on it and was not cleaned. I told the young lady at the front about it and she moved us to another table then didn't clean the other table but went back to her post to watch utube videos. We had to bat away several I ate during our stay as well. The waitress was very good and was the only pleasant thing about the experience. The food was okay but smaller portions than I remember. I won't come back - place feels sticky and dirty now - not sure what happened it used to be a place we looked forward to eat at but not anymore - what happened Mancys??

Andrea B.

Yelp
Service was great, the freaking swarm of fruit flies that ruined our appetite, not so much.

Yelp
We went here for my father in law's birthday. I got the filet and it was over cooked. I ordered it medium rare to medium. It was well. They offered to bring me another steak and then this replacement was undercooked by a lot. I ate it anyway. I was in a large group, so they all got their meals and were almost done by the time I got my replacement steak. The restaurant ambiance was just ok and the service was just ok. All in all, it wasn't a terrific experience. I'll just stick with Mancy's Steakhouse, which is always a 10/10 for me.

Nancy M.

Yelp
Attended large group union here. Service and food were wonderful. The veal piccata was the best I have ever had. Our waitress was super. Great evening was had by all.

Amyann H.

Yelp
went for Valentine's Day dinner. felt rushed through the ordering process. The waitress spilled my drink all over me and my appetize. brought me some of those napkins the use to roll the silverware which does nothing to pick up the water had to move spots at the table since it was soaked she brought out food asked for cheese on my pasta she grated cheese and in the process got cheese all over me. got food to go and got desserts to go offered no apology no discount I attached a pic of the dessert looked like slime in the to go order over 100 dollars to have drink and food spilled on me and no apology.

Jack H.

Yelp
A little disappointed by my experience. Food could've been better and they have a pretty bad fly problem. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Hopefully it's better on other days.

Michaela F.

Yelp
The food was terrible. The only thing that satisfied me was the bread. Would rather go to Olive Garden.
google avatar

Lexi M.

Yelp
Great foos and good service! They have a wine room and has wine tastings once a week. It's a great chance to try some wines and buy wine there as well. I went her for my 30th with my girlfriend and loved it! I'll be back very soon!

Jenny S.

Yelp
First impressions are important and these hostesses were fantastic. Seriously, shout out to the ladies who welcomed us and did not even begin to give a bad vibe when we asked about finding our group. The waitress wasn't even a little put off by the fact we were busy talking to each other. She got all of the drink and food orders correct and staff delivered them correctly. Gold stars all around. No, the food isn't cheap but when it's quality, it's worth it. Chicken piccata, chicken Marsala, spaghetti with meatballs, all top notch. Then the tiramisu, which was soooo good I don't know why we've never been there before but we will definitely return!
google avatar

Doreen F.

Yelp
We went for an early Valentines dinner. Everything was absolutely delicious, we enjoyed our server, the music played in the background and most importantly, the food. I had the Pollo Alfredo. It was so good. It wasn't overly heavy with sauce, the noodles were perfectly cooked and the chicken was crispy, moist and flavorful. The perfect accent for the pasta. My husband had the strip steak. The cook was PERFECT medium rare. The potatoes were good, I don't think he had room for the beans. We took desert home, chocolate cake and cheesecake. Both very good. Highly recommend and we will make the trip back.
google avatar

Andrea C.

Yelp
First time here and we WILL be back. We started our dinner with eggplant Parmesan appetizer. Amazing tomato sauce on the eggplant rolls. Creamy, rich cheese on the inside. Hubby wanted lasagna and was at first very quiet when he tried it. I finally asked if he liked it and he lit up - it was the first time he had fresh pasta and was blown away at how good it was. I ordered chicken Marsala with crispy Brussels sprouts. This was the best chicken Marsala I have ever eaten! The sauce was decedent and had a lot of mushrooms. The chicken so tender I did not need a knife to cut it. Oh those Brussels sprouts - I would have begged my mom to eat Brussels sprouts if she made them like this. Thankfully this was too much food for me so I got to enjoy leftovers for lunch the next day.
google avatar

Andrea C.

Yelp
We are big fans of Mancy's steakhouse, and decided to give the Italian Grille a try. Same great service, and awesome food. We were running 15 minutes late for our reservation but we still got our party of 5 out in under two hours. Fantastic wine selections, and the cheese board was awesome. Even our 3 year old tried some of the cheese and loved the grapes. The Italian Chop Salad was really good, as was the eggplant pasta. Huge serving sizes, so we all left with leftovers. But found room to devour most of the chocolate torte!
google avatar

Stephania P.

Yelp
Cute atmosphere, good service, satisfying food. It's always nice coming here. The bread with the olive oil is pretty great.

Barb S.

Yelp
The previous chef is the one who deserves the 5 star review. Ever since he left, the food has been just meh. We still will get the pizza in the bar because it's the same from the pizza oven and is very good. Also like the live music. Friends of ours used to go there once a week, but after their umpteenth cold meal that had to be sent back, they quit going. Service is good and the bartenders know their stuff. The food really needs some work.
google avatar

Cliff H.

Yelp
My wife, adult son, and I tried out the Italian Grill for the first time. The food is very good. We had the formaggio as the appetizer, my son had salmon picatta, I had bolognese, and my wife had a fillet. The fillet had to be sent back twice due to being undercooked - wanted medium, but the interior was rare (very red). Service was also slow; not asking to be rushed, but it was slow even for relaxed pace. It's a bit overpriced for the value, but it is good food. I heard they want to move to make it more "intimate" which means looking to pay less rent and crowded tables. I personally like the open space between tables.

Sandra M.

Yelp
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! I had dinner here last night. It was subpar to say the least, overpriced and very limited menu choices. The wine is way overpriced for sure! $75/bottle! I had Chicken piccata and there was hardly no lemon flavor, the chicken was overcooked adry and the noodles and sauce were almost cold. We had bread with olive oil for dipping. The first plate was great. The second plate of oil had hardly no seasonings. The different parts of my friend's food were overcooked, burnt and/or tasteless. I've had much better Italian food at Olive Garden or Red Lobster.
google avatar

Bill S.

Yelp
My wife and and set a date night and made a reservation for a Wednesday evening. We are huge Mancy fans but we had never visited the Italian grill. Sorry we waited so long, what a great menu and meal. Best Bruschetta we've had in our lives and the homemade pasta in both dishes - fantastic. I had the Vesuvio and my wife had the Diavole. Both pasta and seafood dishes. We weren't disappointed. Great wait staff too. Thanks Shawn.
google avatar

Marilyn A.

Yelp
Very accommodating. They understand food sensitivity and allergies. Above all else, I have never had a mediocre meal here and everyone who comes here returns. Good food with lots of options and the people are very friendly. I've dined with one other person, and with a dozen relatives, and with many friends. The size of party makes no difference. We're always treated well and leave happy! Mario was a hit! If you're not dining here, you need to go now. Thank me later.
google avatar

Chelsea D.

Yelp
I placed a to go order which took longer than I expected, however the food was well worth the wait. I don't eat meat and couldn't decide new two vegetarian pizzas. The hostess told me which one was her favorite and that is what I tried. It was DELICIOUS! It had extra virgin olive oil, honey, various cheeses and seasonings. I can't wait to go back and have this again. I shared the pizza with my husband. It was a nice size and a good price. He also loved it.
google avatar

Krystal P.

Yelp
I've been here a few times but today was my first time trying the pizza. We got the pepperoni. I'll just go ahead and say it's the best pepperoni pizza I've ever had. It was so good we had to get one to go. I mean it was so good we ate in on the car ride home. I mean it was SOOOOO GOOOD that we went back the next day and had 2 more lol. Amazing! The Brussel sprouts were amazing as well. The eggplant app was the same and the dinner portion just without pasta, which is perfect. Not much of a drinker but they have a really nice sweet red wine, called ambrosia. It's great! I somehow drunk a whole bottle in one sitting because it tastes so much like grape juice lol.

Yelp
I came here with a party of 8 for my fiance's birthday. The atmosphere was romantic and there were tons of people on a Sunday night. We made a reservation, and were seated promptly. I ordered the veal, which was so so good. My fiance ordered the diavolo, which came with a lot of seafood, but I felt that the pasta itself was lacking flavor. Our server was extremely nice and also gave us complimentary birthday tiramisu!
google avatar

Robert P.

Yelp
I've been there several times over the years . Always had great food and service . The menu is large you can get anything your craving . You can get anything you can imagine the wine list is superb. Wait staff are seasoned to let you know what to eat if you can't decide. Food is priced fair.

Yelp
My husband and I went to Nancy's Italian Grill on Monday, 6/20 (for a late Father's Day dinner). Started out with the Calimari....the best we have had! My husband ordered the Chix Parm and I had the grilled Chix with Alfredo (with spinach & mushroom). The red sauce was a bit too acidic and the Alfredo was very greasy, so.....we took leftovers home. I ended up eating my husband's, and, on the second bite of pasta I stopped! There was a lighter colored hair about 10-12 in. long. Into the garage it went! We have always loved Mancy's, both the original and Italian. But this time, the only thing we could enjoy was the appetizer & my salad. My husband's Caesar came out swimming in dressing and the waitress even noticed it!

Yelp
While I have not been impressed by this "upscale" Italian restaurant, I experienced the worst tasting minestrone soup I have ever tasted. There was a layer of oil on the top and even after getting through that, the Vegetables and remaining broth was horrible. After two sips, I had enough and sent it back. Nobody came out to apologize and even though they removed it from my bill, it was still not professional To serve this atrocity. A can of Progresso soup would have been more enjoyable. I will never return.

Yelp
I've had my fair share of Italian in Toledo and this is by far the best! We had a large party of seven people and they were able to seat us immediately. Good appetizers (soups, salad, bread- you name it!) and fresh salads. Entres and desserts were tasty. I'll be sure to visit Mancy's when I'm back in the Toledo area!

Yelp
Delicious Fresh fettuccine with spinach, shiitake mushrooms, grilled chicken and a cream sauce. Waitress was excellent.

Yelp
Just not that good... Came in on a Wednesday night for dinner. Asked for an oakey Cabernet. What I was served was mediocre at best. Ordered veal parmigiana and a house salad. The salad was excellent. The veal was nondescript, as if baked rather than fried. The spaghetti it was served with was cold. Service was mediocre too Dinners came out in a reasonable amount of time, but it took forever to get the check, which by the way, was over $200 and way overpriced for what we got. With the exception of the house salad, everything you get at Olive Garden is better than this joint.

Yelp
My wife and I eat here often. The food is always very good and we love the handmade pasta (which is rare). It's nice to see an Italian based restaurant that is Italian inspired and not the normal Italian American place that serves the usual junk that many Americans "thinks" is Italian. We love the Vesuvio and the Brie apps always please, even though the ingredients change often. The house salad is very good and the price point is on point.

Yelp
Short and to the point... After many visits, I can decisively say two things: Mancy's Italian is: 1. Not the best Italian restaurant in town (regardless of its City Paper ranking). 2. Certainly not the best Mancy's restaurant in town. Overall, this place isn't bad, and the entrees certainly sound good, but thus far, nothing that I've ordered has been particularly well executed. This is especially true when you take the prices into account. The wait staff has always been excellent, and this last time in, the barmaid was very helpful also. Next time I go there, I think I'll skip the entree and stick with the melted fontina cheese appetizer (this was fantastic), and the tiramisu (also very good). I'll drink a little, too. In my opinion, Mancy's Italian is on par with Rosie's, but is a step below Ciao!

Yelp
This restaurant has a great romantic upscale feel but also a more relaxed bar area which is where my group chose to sit. The happy hour is pretty good with a few apps and some drink specials. Their signature drink is a Manhattan with Bulleit rye and they age the drink themselves in barrels. It was very good and they serve with it with a giant ice cube to help keep your drink from watering down. They also garnish with these candied black cherries that were delicious. We had a few apps including the calamari, the meat pizza, and the fennel sausage with risotto. The calamari was lacking flavor and the sauce it came with was a very thick and sweet jam. I don't feel the sauce complimented the dish. The other two apps were delicious. The pepperoni on the pizza literally made a couple of us say out loud how good it was. The risotto was cooked perfectly and the sausage was very flavorful. I then tried the meatball app which was 3 large pieces with sauce and ricotta. It wasn't bad but again lacking flavor. I don't live nearby but if I did I would give this place another shot.

Yelp
Went here for an early Valentine's dinner last weekend and while the food was good, the service was very slow and backed up. Not sure if they're experiencing staffing shortages or something else but we were seated at 6pm and it was easily 15 minutes before drinks came, then before the appetizer came, then before our salads came, then before our food came, so that we didn't actually get our entrees until 7:40 (1.5+ hours after being seated). Our waitress hurried by at some point and said "it'll be a while on the formaggio the kitchen is backed up" and left again before we could ask for refills or place our entree order. So they knew they were backed up but they didn't apologize or offer anything, they just said it'll be a while... it seemed strange. On an occasion like Valentine's Day we wanted to have a really nice experience but we also weren't planning on dinner taking 2.5 hours-- we're usually in and out of a place in 90 minutes at the MOST (and that's when we're really having a good time). It's a good thing we didn't have a movie to get to or plans afterwards but it was off putting. This all after we were seated at a table next to the kitchen where we could see and smell seafood trash (there were six other open tables and we asked to be moved and they couldn't accommodate-- we placed our reservation 6 weeks ago, why are we getting seated by a trash can full of fish?). The food was delicious. If they offer carry out I'd try that. If I could go again when it wasn't busy, I'd go and hope the service was quicker and the table was nicer. Otherwise, not worth the extra cost over places like Rosie's or even Bravo. Not sure I'll be back soon.
