Me and my husband love coming here. It's always a good vibrant vibe, and it's fun. The bartenders know their craft and drinks are on point. The decor is rustic and really cool. Went for New Year's and then went back a couple weeks ago for St. Patty's. If you are a bourbon/whiskey drinker, this is a good bar to visit.

I love the vibe of this place. Music is awesome and prepares gorgeous cocktails, my favorite one...the old-fashioned. Besides, the decoration of the bar enchanted me!!

Almost got in a fight with some chicken legged boys from NY but the staff and libations here were both proper and brilliant. Seating was super comfortable, lighting reminds me of Seattle (Ballard) haunts; which I like. Its seating was both minimal and adequate - keeps the focus on your company and cocktail. Strong but small selection of proper Mezcal -staff are slightly cocky but I prefer knowledge over stupidity so it’s a win in the end. Thanks for the cocktails,

Mandarin Hide is definitely one of my favorite spots in downtown St. Pete—a must-stop every time! The vibe is unmatched, giving that perfect mix of intimate lounge meets lively energy. (It gives the feeling of a bar that, if Chuck Bass—yes, from Gossip Girl—owned, it would be a speakeasy with a private adult club in the back lol) The bartenders are top-tier—attentive, fun, and always on point with recommendations. I got their espresso martini with tequila (normally comes in a not cute glass, I just request mine in a martini glass, and problem solved). Best vibe overall, hands down.

Great drinks!!!! Personalized drinks to the tee!!!! The bartender Seth took our request and took it to a new level.. exactly what we wanted but couldn’t explain it!! He nailed it!! Off the menu drinks we loved. Went to work like an artist!

Best post hurricane cocktails. It’s an old school place, knowledgeable bar tenders who can make any drink. My wife ordered a bartenders choice and got a banger of a drink. I channeled fall and ordered the Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini, in their finest available drink ware.

The legendary tub photo at Mandarin Hide is a MUST! The drinks are worth it ! The crowd at this bar in st Pete is always a good time ! I recently was a photobooth operator for a private event and the hospitality of the crew was astounding! They made sure every guest drink was perfectly crafted and made sure every one’s request was accommodated! I am highly recommending this spot for all my clients private parties!

The bartender made us delicious Pisco sours and even gifted us an espresso martini / so sweet! Great ambiance too :) definitely recommend this bar!

Fun stop on a Saturday afternoon for a drink. This weekend they were a part of the 727 weekend, which meant $7.27 espresso martinis. Surprisingly, I hadn't tried one here before, and also to see they serve them in a stemless martini glass. Although the bar was not busy when I arrived around 2pm, it quickly filled up and with just a couple of loud groups, it became impossible to hold a conversation. The speakers are directly above and the music was turned up to drown out the now loud groups. The martini was good, but the acoustics and volume mean I can't make this a regular spot.

Love the owner.. unfortunately really bad management too bad. I asked for a drink and to keep it open and i wanted to cash out using apple pay. Then he immediately rings my card and cashes me out. He must have said something to the other bar tenders because they all started being really rude to me. I told them I was just there to see a little of the Thursday Night Football game. They didn't put it on until a couple asked for the game next to me. And sarcastically told them I had been asking a lot. I even asked for the manager and they refused to. You need to be respectful of your locals. Train your staff better. Small bar with no food.

Best espresso martini in town! I love this bar from the decor to the drinks and the amazing staff. It does get busy every night of the week which I love and the staff is always attentive and moving quick.

Trivia: One could legally get bourbon during prohibition of your doctor did what? On the recommendation of a bartender at another restaurant, I walked down to this cozy spot on a slow Wednesday night in the middle of summer. And....It was okay. I was sort of tossed between three different bartenders until someone finally took my order. "I'll be right with you, and then 2 minutes later a different bartender, I'll be right with you, followed by a third who asked "have you been helped?" Which would have been fine if there hadn't been more empty seats in the place than full. I asked about allocated bottles of bourbon thinking a place like this must have something abnormal or rare. But the bartender just laughed and said he'd let me know if that ever happens. It wasn't rude, just weird. This sort of put me off, but I pushed forward with his recommended bourbon for an Old Fashioned. And it was good. But the ambiance sort of steered me away and I decided to go somewhere else after one.

I love mandarin hide, it's my go to spot to hang with friends. The espresso martini is the best in the city. And the staff are all so knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend swinging by. Take a pic in the tub! It's iconic.

I stopped in here pretty late and was able to see someone get a birthday champagne, which really made that party happy. They were out of a few options I wanted for drinks, but the one I ended up with (don't recall) was really good. The layout is interesting and it was a fun place to hang out for a bit. The bartenders were good and made a strong drink.

Stopped in for a drink after having a friend's birthday dinner downtown. First, let me say the staff -- AMAZING. They overheard us cheers to her birthday and they ended up surprising our group with a complimentary bottle of bub. We were so stuffed that we didn't drink it, but the gesture was just too kind. After shots, most of us got an espresso martini as our final drink and we all really loved it. Tasted great, not watered down, and just the right amount of foam. My friends and I all want to return for another round! Highly recommend.

This is such a great bar. It's hard to call it a bar because you get to experience great mixology in drinks, not your average Joe cocktail. If you love trying new drinks where the bartenders have a great knowledge in flavors and creativity this is the place. I asked for a gin drink that was more dry and he asked if I have had egg whites, I said no but let's go. The drink he made was creamy and flavorful that brought out the botanical flavors. We also tried their specialty drinks- the wakame- that was such un unusual but delicious drink that left me craving more, and the snack- that wasn't as decadent as you would assume it would be since it's suppose to have peanut butter flavors, lastly we tried the windward punch which they made in house and it was a mellow cognac that didn't burn at all. We put this in a list of must return to in the future.

I wanted to leave another review and not leave it at a one star because of one incident with a rude doorman. Wouldn't be fair to base my review off that, although not sure I'd come in. Despite the ridiculous dress code here where you are not allowed to wear sandals or a tank top if you are a guy... the drinks here are one of my favorite. Bartenders were nice too from what I remember. But that rule they have with the dress code should go.. we live in Florida where it is hot and humid, what do you expect. It's located downtown next to regular bars. It doesn't make sense to me and is disappointing.

Sophisticated, sexy bar. Love going when it's quiet because weekends get LIT! Great photo op in the bathtub!!!! Lol the staff is super knowledgeable, too!!!! Their HH (happy hour -for my beloved boomers) is solid.

Yessss please!! Went for dinner at a place around the corner and our server recommended this place for the espresso martinis. Delicious! Frothy til the last drop! Service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere is everything! Must stop by in St Pete!

It has been a month since we were lucky enough to find this top tier COCKTAIL bar in St. Pete when we were visiting my sister. I am still thinking about it. We are cocktail aficionados, and not easily impressed. Devin, the mixologist, blew us away with his recommendations, concoctions and knowledge. Our experience there was unlike most other cocktail bars . The atmosphere is moody and very well done, service is great, and the imagination put into the drinks is off the charts. If you like gin, order the drink that has a tea infusion (pictured below). They won a "best of" award with it, deservedly so. I promise it is unlike anything you have ever had-it is a "savory" cocktail, complex and delicious. Thanks to Devin for a one of a kind afternoon!

Great hole in the wall and what I would call a dive bar (not a negative thing). We were going to eat across the street but they didn't have cocktails. Bartender was friendly and made a nice Manhatten, though prices didn't fit the environment.

I had the WORST interactions with one of the employees. This male with a beard, long hair, and a mole on his face was immediately vile and very arrogant toward me, before I had spoken a word to him. I was blown away! I have no idea what the problem was with his attitude but he continued to be flippant and demeaning toward me. Due to this, I could NEVER recommend this bar to any of my tourist clients.

They always have the fattest Christmas trees each year, I swear! Favorite time to come here and a Moscow mule is where it's at. Get in that Christmas spirit! It's on the smaller side but it's the perfect bar to visit to share an intimate cocktail on a date! The dimmer lighting is much appreciated. There's a bath tub, a unique feature? I think every girl has taken a photo in the tub at some point of another. No judgment here!

Hidden Gem, literally. Its surprising how many people don't know about the tiny outdoor patio in the back, the HIDE part of Mandarin Hide. The DJ spins old school hip hop which is amazing. Their a full service bartender to mix your favorite cocktail. It's a very cozy space but really tiny. So it doesn't take many people to be "crowded". But its super fun spot to hang out.

Craft cocktails take on a whole new meaning at this vibe of a bar on Central. These bartenders are insanely skilled and watching them is like a performance. Their drinks are even tastier than they look! Featured here is the White Geese, which is a mix of Grey Goose, lemon, rosemary and elderflower, with a Prosecco foam. She's picture perfect and SO delicious. Also had an espresso martini while I was there, and that definitely did not disappoint! The inside is full of gorgeous dark wood, the iconic buffalo head on the wall, beautiful chandelier and the Instagrammable bath tub photo op. Love the atmosphere created. A spot I keep returning to!

Place belongs in Brooklyn or New York bringing Montana to the beach - music is fire- bartenders attentive friendly.

Wow, this spot is a gem. Cocktails are not cheap in general these days but the mixologists here take genuine pride in their work. It was a challenge to choose just one beverage before heading around the corner for dinner, and well worth the price tag to experience the care and creativity that goes into drink making at Mandarin Hide. Hubby had a smoked Old Fashioned and I was torn between the Monster's Disguise and a Salty Dog. He was in heaven and I definitely enjoyed the smoky rosemary effect with the grapefruit in my Salty Dog. Complex and refreshing!! Loved the art and decor, the incredible details, and the overall vibe.

This is a real cocktail bar with excellent bartenders. The bar is clean and drinks are professional made. They have a great liquor selection and Elijah Craig is there call brand which is good quality bourbon. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for . See you tomorrow.

I've never been surrounded by so many ugly mean and disgraceful bartenders as I have in this bar. You can't dance, even if it's a simple sway without getting a security light flashed on you and screamed at for dancing. We were refused drinks when one person in our group started dropping it low and yelled at for getting too "wild". I've never experienced a bar so trashy and unprofessional serving customers drinks and then freaking tf out that someone might start feeling the drinks. I'm a very known bartender in another state and this would be completely unacceptable. DO NOT come to this bar they deserve zero business from anyone expecting to have a fun cocktail and mingle with friends. STAY AWAY!

Best espresso martini!! The ambiance is so cool, sort of speak-easy vibes (we went in the evening). Service was quick and every drink was delicious

Went drinking with a friend on Friday and saw this place as one of the top bars in downtown st Pete. We went around 5 pm and it was pretty empty . Just us and two others in there which was nice because it allowed the bartender to tend to us. The location is the middle of downtown with plenty of restaurants nearby and the ambiance of the place was very nice. The bartender was very helpful and informational as well pleasant in convo. He recommend smoking the old fashioned and it was a nice Instagram moment. I thought it was all for show only but in the smoker they add wood chips which add a whole new level of flavor to the drink. It might not be everyone's cup of tea but definitely felt like it was an experience I needed to to have.

5 stars post pandemic and I pinky promise I am not just saying that because I have a ridiculous affinity for this place and the bartenders. Everyone is simply on point, in character, charismatic, and kind (but like still too cool to talk to me in High School and I am not mad about it). These folks are stars. 5 stars. The menu is just as dope as ever before and the mood is still there! I do hope they can get to the point where they bring back rum soaked grapes because they are my favorite thing in the world. Something cool about this bar is the vast amount of spirits and still so many local options like St. Pete Distillery.

Was in Saint Pete to see a play in the park and stumbled on this interesting spot. Really fun cocktail bar with a cool menu . Bartender was on his game laid back and very knowledgeable. Cool vibe with a eclectic decor . I will definitely come back with friends next time I'm in the area .

recently had a photoshoot here while closed, so I can't speak on the actual business. BUT THIS ESTABLISHMENT It is absolutely gorgeous. Very moody and classy, but still relaxed. The drinks were great and the staff was amazing. If you're looking for ambiance or to content create, this is the place!

The atmosphere at this cocktail bar is unbeatable! The dim lighting, candles, great music and extensive spirit selection is what makes it great. You must try the espresso martini, it's one of their most popular cocktails!

Seth is amazing! Knew exactly what I wanted and we had great conversation while he still had his attention on the whole entire bar. He was so polite to end our conversation to help another customer! The nicest and most classy place in the area. Bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and professional, but not stuffy at all. Everyone is really nice and welcoming. The craft drink options are endless and the drink menu is awesome. Watching the bartenders make one of their signature cocktails is like watching an artist. Lots of bourbon there and lots of unique liquors. They had malort, which is disgusting, but appreciated since Im from Chicago. Sat at the bar and had a really good time just watching the bartenders do their thing. Highly recommend this place. Heads up, it gets really busy around 11pm with a early 20 something crowd. The kind of peeps that couldnt possibly appreciate the cocktail craftsmanship and bourbon behind the bar. That was our cue to leave. But hey, if thats your vibe, maybe get there around 11.

Excellent whiskey bar, took my husband there for his bday. He had the Manhattan as per usual and I had a special drink with burnt rosemary on top.

Such a cute spot to grab a drink. The bartender made up a drink for me and my friend we just asked for bourbon and some sort of citrus and she gave us a cocktail with green apple, lemon, ginger, and bourbon. Man was it delicious. The decor is very cute I love that they have a tub to just like their counter part Mandarin Heights. I love the tin roof that is painted orange really grabs your eye. The atmosphere is great and everyone was just having a great time. It is has great seating along the wall. I love that from the street you would easily past it and not realize it was there. Kind of adds a mystery to it. I can't wait to go back and grab a couple more drinks with my friends.

I can't believe this place has been around for 7 years and I have never been here! My friends and I stopped by before a Jannus concert this past Saturday to check it out. Very intimate, dark and classy cocktail bar on Central. Almost missed it walking by. Low lit lamps line the walls and in the back there is a lounge area with a giant chandelier. The drink menu is pretty awesome but what i really loved was the "Choose Your Own Adventure Option" to trust the bartender with your drink! Our bartender was freaking awesome, giving us lots of info and suggestions. He was passionate about his creations and making our visit memorable. Mission accomplished. The drink menu is divided into the type of drinker that you are: think Light, Sweet or Heavy Handed. They also offer an interesting mix of Beertails, wine or just plain beer. Fantastic ambiance and skills here. I will be back...very very soon!!

Love this bar. It brings me back to the good old days when the McNally brothers were recreating NYC nightlife back in the 80s and 90s. Very hip well done and a classy feel. kudos to the bartenders they're great. The drinks are pretty creative as well.

Wonderful spot on Central Avenue with an incredible vibe and craft cocktails. Each drink is thoughtfully mixed served to perfection. We had the Ring of Fire and Espresso Martinis. Both were fantastic, but the Ring of Fire has a spicy kick!

Do not go here!!! My friends and I went here for first Friday and the bouncer Cody seemed like he was on drugs and he was very agressive. He was escorting a girl out of the bar and my friend was standing near the exit and he pushed my friend against the wall to move her out of his way and she hit her head so hard she most likely has a concussion. We then left the bar and when we were outside the bouncer ran up on me slapped me in the face and threw my phone on the ground. There were multiple witnesses and we immediately went to the police and there is currently an active police report against this man and I will be pressing charges for him assaulting me. The police also spoke with him after the assault and told me he seemed like he may have been "on something". DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS UNTIL THEY FIRE THIS ABUSER THEY HIRE TO "PROTECT" PEOPLE!!!! I was not even inside the bar when he ran up on me and assaulted me. Disgusting. I have attached a picture I took of his face

Killer atmosphere! Cocktails are crazy good. It's nice to see bartenders do what they love. You have to try this bar out. We came here two nights in a row for a nightcap and both times they knocked it out of the park. They have a wonderful cocktail list and liquor list.

After all these years the place still rocks!! Best cocktails around. Get here early and experience $6 handcrafted cocktails!

I will never go to another bar in st Pete for mixed drinks. I haven't had mixed drinks this good since NYC. This is everything I have been missing. Love the vibe, love everything. Go here

Cool bar in downtown St. Petersburg. Tucked away with a small storefront, its a very large long bar, with amazing craft cocktails, wine and beer. There was a jazz trio playing even on a Wednesday night. They have specials on Wednesdays, $5 glasses of wine and daily whiskey specials. Stylish and upscale bar, definitely try the craft cocktails. Friendly staff. There's parking available on the street or there are several pay garages within a couple blocks.

I wanted come here so badly and glad we did! We were already full from dinner so only had cocktails. Loved that they decorated for Chinese New Year. We ordered Moscow Mules and they were pretty awesome. I have to say though, I was more impressed by the decor than the drinks themselves. Definitely want to try again. Besides, it's the Year of the Dog and the Year of Oxen signs were confusing, even though I fully get that Oxen is their thing.

Will is a bartender who loves his job and is a great Mixologist. He can make the drinks on the cocktail menu but give him the name of a liquor and he will make something delicious with it. Will definitely be back! Music is also great!

Innovative cocktails with a fantastic bartending staff! I've been here twice and it is a St. Pete must-see! I like unique cocktails and Mandarin Hide does not disappoint. The Green Rabbit, Ultra Violet, Ants Go Marching In and Choose Your Own Adventure (which ended up being a Cold Brew Coffee Cocktail with orange bitters and Bulleit Rye) were phenomenal. They also have a habanero-ginger simple syrup you can add to your cocktails for an extra kick. I highly suggest doing this. We added it to the Ultra Violet and it just made it the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.

A must visit!!! You can truly see the talent behind each bartender when making the cocktail drinks. The drinks were AMAZING! Definitely worth the price and will be coming back for sure! Like i said a MUST VISIT!
