Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou

Stay here for 5 nights from 28 Oct to 2nd Nov. Concierge service and Buffet team services were impeccable. These three gentlemen from the Concierge service team were excellent in their services - Younus, the chief concierge, Huge and Jack. They were attentive and helpful. Their good services started from pre checked-in to post checked-in. Jack was always ready to help throughout our stay. I was not able to make on-line dinner reservation due to some limitations with some restaurants I am very thankful for their help in assisting me. The morning buffet breakfast has a good spread and were good. Generally the staff from the buffet team were very attentive and helpful. Finally, the cleaner in the room also make our stay a pleasant one. We will come back again to this same hotel if we visit Guangzhou.

This was a return stay, and overall it was a pleasant and comfortable experience. I love the convenience of the hotel being directly connected to Taikoo Hui mall—it made shopping and dining so easy. The room layout was spacious, though a stool for wearing shoes would be a nice addition. The rollaway bed blanket could also be thicker for extra comfort. A special mention to Sky from the front desk for his warm welcome, and to Lance, who was very friendly and genuinely engaging while assisting with our luggage. The concierge team provided an excellent recommendation for a nearby foot massage, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I wasn’t sure what the welcome amenity for Fans of MO members was, as we don’t recall receiving any. That said, I still recommend joining the Fans of MO program to enjoy the added perks. Overall, a delightful stay in a great location.

Stayed here last year in February and not only was the breakfast amazing, but also the room service. The hotel rooms were impeccable with the most beautiful architectural and lighting. A true delight for fans of architecture and interior design. All the amenities that were provided were top notch from the Dyson to the heated Japanese toilet (this was in the corner suite). The service and staff were all outstanding and polite. The hotel was beautifully located next to a luxury mall steps away. One of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. Very safe and quiet both day and night.

I stayed at this hotel for a week and had an absolutely wonderful experience. All the staff members were incredibly professional, kind, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The food was absolutely delicious — every meal felt like it was prepared with care. My room was always perfectly clean, very comfortable, and had everything I could possibly need for a pleasant stay. I truly felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout my time there. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great service, comfort, and hospitality!

It's absolutely a perfect stay for two days and one night. Thanks to Stin of the Guest Relations Department for communicating the details of the accommodation needs by phone before arrival, to welcoming me at the front desk to sending me to the room, carefully introducing the details of the facilities, arranging welcome fruit and chocolate for me in advance, which lighting up my stay ~ Everyone's service in the whole hotel is very enthusiastic, especially Energetic and full of spirit!|In addition, I was deeply impressed by the hostess of Jiang by Chef Fei, who seems to be called Delia (sorry if I mistyped her name). She also introduced the recommended dishes to me very patiently. I walked in and she helped me win a seat, although I changed it later. When I appeared in the restaurant, I was very happy to see her there. The staffs of the restaurant are also way professional with hospitalities, they just come to pour tea in time every time I finished.|There are also the receptionist in the gym and the receptionist in the Spa, who patiently and extra share and introduce products for me, etc. Whether I consumed or not, whether there is any working on hand or not, they all take the guests standing in front of them and solve the problems of guests first! MO always deliver the appropriate, and the service is just fine, silent, and at the right time, just amazing!

My stay at the Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou was truly exceptional, not only for the luxurious accommodations but also for the heartfelt and attentive service I received, especially in assisting my elderly father who uses a wheelchair.The staff went above and beyond to help us with logistics. They provided thoughtful solutions on how to pack my father’s belongings safely, suggesting sturdy carton boxes and even ordering the boxes for us, which made our packing much easier. Their proactive approach made a stressful situation much more manageable.Additionally, they made sure my 80-year-old father knew how to move around our large room comfortably. They carefully guided us on where to place essential items for his convenience, such as the rubbish bin, and offered advice on navigating the space safely. Their attention to detail and genuine care made a significant difference in our stay.The hotel’s facilities and amenities were excellent, with comfortable rooms, delicious dining options, and convenient location. But what stood out the most was the staff’s compassionate and personalized care, which made us feel truly valued and supported.I highly recommend Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou for travelers who appreciate exceptional service and a warm, accommodating environment. It’s a place that truly cares for its guests.
