Hotel is extremely expensive and not good value for money. I Arrived after midnight, so late check-in and it took forever. Staff were not welcoming and instead made me feel guilty for disturbing them so later. Reception insisted on blocking my card for two nights and then an additional 66% deposit against incidents so I had a large amount blocked on my credit card. Despite me having paid CTrip 50% (which was refunded) but the point was my credit card was blocked for more than double the costs of a two night stay.Breakfast was fine but I would say what was offered was half the selection of Chinese cuisine available at other hotels and a third the selection for western cuisine. Silver service at breakfast meant you could not get your own tea or coffee. The first morning I asked for English black tea but received cappuccino instead, I asked they take this back and give me tea it arrived in a pot more than 35 minutes later but with no cup, and the water was already cold.Second night I only got back to hotel after 2300 because of work, so I ordered room service, everything in the menu was very expensive so I ordered one of the cheapest main meal items, a cheese burger at around 2330. Just after midnight I received a call to say they had received my order but the kitchen was busy so it would take 45 minutes to an hour to prepare. This meant I would be paying just under CNY250 for a cheese burger that would take nearly 90 minutes to deliver, I declined.Next morning at breakfast I again asked for tea, it arrived just after I had finished eating and again the pot was cold, there was no milk as I had asked for and I did not want to wait another 45 minutes especially as the breakfast crowd was small, less than 50% of the tables occupied.Checking out took forever, nearly twenty minutes for no apparent reason, there was no unusual amounts on my bill, just two nights stay and two items from the mini bar, the receptionist, again not really friendly or interactive seemed to spend so much time typing away in the computer, scanning bar codes and re he king deposit slips and my card details. I was kept hovering at the linter for over twenty minutes for no reason and I did not ask for, or receive a Fapio or printed out breakdown of the bill so I don’t know why everything took so long. Overall the food was fine just not a big selection, but the service was poor. The rooms are nice and the beds and bedding comfortable, but when I consider I was paying almost triple what I normally pay for hotels in the same area, other hotels were I get much better service, much more friendly and efficient staff and far better in-room dining; better in quality, price and delivery time and a far better selection at breakfast it is just not worth it to stay at this hotel.
