The Mandarin Oriental Shanghai – Pudong enjoys a prime location with stunning views over the Huangpu River. The setting is ideal for both business and leisure travelers who want to be close to the city’s vibrant heart while enjoying a peaceful and scenic environment.
The rooms are exceptionally well-designed — modern, stylish, and furnished with high-quality materials that create a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. Every detail, from the lighting to the layout, reflects thoughtful design and comfort.
Breakfast is generous and offers a wide variety of international and local options. There’s something to suit every taste. However, due to the number of guests, the breakfast area can get quite busy and a bit noisy during peak times.
Service throughout the hotel is excellent. The staff is professional, friendly, and consistently attentive. That said, English proficiency at the front desk could be improved slightly to better meet the expectations of international guests.
All in all, this Mandarin Oriental Pudong is a top-tier city hotel that combines comfort, design, and high-level service in a prime location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return on our next trip to Shanghai.
