How to Celebrate Fourth of July in New Orleans - Eater New Orleans
"Mandeville’s Fourth of July celebration is especially kid-friendly — there’s a kids’ tent in addition to live music, food trucks, and of course fireworks. The all-day event on Sunday, July 4 at the Mandeville lakefront kicks off for picnics and the like at 10 a.m., with food trucks and drinks available starting at 5 p.m. and live music kicking off at 6 p.m." - Clair Lorell
Great place for sunset views, long walks to clear your head, wedding & family photos, or to watch some crazy weather roll in. There’s also a splash park and small beach area!

I absolutely adore the lakefront. Perfect place to watch the sunset at night or just go skateboard on the sidewalk during the day. It is a very beautiful place. It’s also the perfect place to take your runs if you live in Mandeville. Possibly one of my favorite places in my town.

Awesome park. A long stretch of walkway following the river and filled with beautiful greenery and trees. So glad I stopped by here and I had a lot of fun spending an hour here. Mandeville is a really cool town; it was worth some time there while visiting from New Orleans!
