"Mandeville’s Fourth of July celebration is especially kid-friendly — there’s a kids’ tent in addition to live music, food trucks, and of course fireworks. The all-day event on Sunday, July 4 at the Mandeville lakefront kicks off for picnics and the like at 10 a.m., with food trucks and drinks available starting at 5 p.m. and live music kicking off at 6 p.m." - Clair Lorell

We love walking the lakefront. We usually take our kids (4+6years old) with us and stop at the playgrounds for them. Lately since the weather hasn't been super cold or crazy hot we've been taking a football up with us too since there's plenty of open space for playing catch. In the summer the splash pad is nice too. Usually not as crowded as the one at the state park. By the splash pad they have a little kid and a bigger kid playground which we love since we have one of each currently.

I absolutely adore the lakefront. Perfect place to watch the sunset at night or just go skateboard on the sidewalk during the day. It is a very beautiful place. It’s also the perfect place to take your runs if you live in Mandeville. Possibly one of my favorite places in my town.

Mandeville Lakefront is a true gem for those seeking breathtaking sunsets and serene outdoor experiences. The sunsets at this location are nothing short of spectacular, offering a mesmerizing view of nature's beauty. Beyond the sunsets, the paths for walking, jogging, and cycling make it an ideal spot for both exercise and relaxation. Plus, it's pet-friendly, making it a perfect place to take your furry friend for a stroll. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and connect with the beauty of Lake Pontchartrain.

Awesome park. A long stretch of walkway following the river and filled with beautiful greenery and trees. So glad I stopped by here and I had a lot of fun spending an hour here. Mandeville is a really cool town; it was worth some time there while visiting from New Orleans!

Beautiful park next to the water. Smooth sidewalks, big trees, and a guaranteed breeze off of the water. Also a sensational spot for sunsets.

Great clean park for sunset views. Plenty of parking (unless there's an event) and those oaks with Spanish moss are a delight!

Not too much light at night. Feels like being in a scary movie (SURREAL) 😶 PS Saw someone fishing AND during the day it's probably a very scenic drive. Worth a visit👌
