M&O Station Grill + Cocktail Lounge

Delicious burgers and shakes after our first time going down to the Stockyards to see the longhorns! The amazing man who helped us at the counter gave us recommendations- and we gladly took his advice. We all ordered a different burger and were all very impressed and look forward to going back again! Some that we tried were the Greek, the Bleu Cheese, and another that was a little spicy! It was no surprise to see all their awards and recognitions posted up on the walls- definitely deserved. Also, very clean and comfortable bathrooms. Highly recommend!

The burgers were so big we only ate half there and saved the rest for lunch the next day. The staff is always nice even years ago when I first started eating there in 2014. The new addition/remodel is a perfect vibe and chill spot.

Fantastic local "mom & pop" shop. Small and intimate but also trendy and cool! The son of the owners was great and took good care of us. Made me a killer margarita! I'm a bit of a burger snob so I was excited to see all the fun options on the menu. I had to choose the Bacon Bleu as those flavors just call to me! At the first bite, my eyes were rolling back and I was in complete food bliss! The hand cut fries were spot on, onion rings were good, the sliders my friend had were amazing, and both the tangy sauce and the spicy "ketchup" were phenomenal! Will be back again soon with friends joining!

Stopped in while in FW. Chili cheese burger was a 10. Jimmy Jack melt was a 7, too much sauce. Onion rings and sweet potato fries both a 10. We’ll be back and we do recommend

Served with a fork & knife! Carnivore, for sure, they made it awesome. It's great when you can order just a burger patty or, in my case, multiple plain burger patties! Real food, and I will be back. Great pictures inside and the atmosphere is awesome

Great customer service, the drinks were good the food was good, the fries were bomb. I needed a nap afterwards. 10 out of 10!

I've been here twice now and will continue to come back. The burgers are amazing and so is the service! We sat in the bar area this time. The bartender was nice and did a great job making the drinks. The bar is comfortable and nicely decorated. We met the owner during this visit. He is a very nice man and I'm happy to support his business.

Haven't been since that added the bar. Well done hats off. Still great food. The tomato basil soup is hard to beat the milk shake is a must order here.

Soooooooo good! The burgers come with 2 patties and it was a bit much for me but other than that this was one of the best burgers I've had. I'm truly a burger girl so it being Juicy & seasoned extremely well gets a 10/10 from me. Bartender was really nice and the chipotle fries were amazing so that's a plus.

Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! Burgers were really good, definitely a bit pricey, but they use grass-fed beef, so you get what you pay for. Fries and onion rings were both solid. They don't serve name-brand sodas, but the ones they had were actually really good. Service was quick and friendly. I also spotted a bunch of other menu items I'd love to come back and try. Worth a visit!

They have super duper great thick burgers in funky fresh and exciting flavors. For example, there's a greek burger, a good ole Texas burger, a mushroom swiss, a classic burger with the classic fixings and much much more to try. They still seem like a family run business who care for their customers. We again loved our experience, and cannot wait to go back! BONUS: They opened a sweet lil' cocktail bar that connects to the original establishment. You can order food, drinks and watch football in there. (:

M&O Station Grill has my favorite burgers. I love the uniqueness of the options. I've tried several different burgers on their menu and I've never been disappointed. If someone ask me where my favorite place to get burgers is or where should they should go to get the best burgers, I ALWAYS recommend M&O!

Well.. I agree that the food tastes good. HOWEVER. It's a burger joint!! Not Del Frisco's... you guys are out of your mind charging what you charge for individual items. Nowhere is it ever right to go get a burger, side of fries and a drink for $25.. I'm looking at your reviews and I can see why your business has declined. Terrible... $3.50 for a soda??!!??!!!

I got the Rosemary Turkey burger with a side of fries and it was amazing. Added bonus was how friendly and accommodating the staff was. Great spot!

5/5 on the food I got the California burger and it was excellent! The spice was perfect. There was a museum connected to the restaurant. I honestly loved the entire vibe, it was like a blast from the past!

I haven't had a great burger like this in a long time! ordered the Blue Cow burger with fries. The moment i not into the burger i knew I was going to have to come back for another try. Nathan was the bartender/server and he's was so nice from moment walked in the door. He was very attentive. He made a great cucumber margarita and old fashioned. My only suggestion is to work on perfecting the drinks a tad better. The flavor was on point but I prefer a stronger alcohol taste because I like to taste the liquor. I would still come back for another drink and burger any day. I also just found out this place is a local family owned business. That's a plus.

Did I find the best burgers in FW? Maybe. Absolutely loved this place. Counter serve, quaint small joint & very friendly & helpful staff. Stepped up to place my order and let them know it was my first time in. He seemed genuinely excited & took the time to explain the choices & made recommendations. Blue cow burger was Everything on it was fresh, full of flavor & plenty to eat. Added the hand cut fries which were fresh, hot & seasoned Lots of good choices here including salads, grilled cheese & vegan! Coming back for sure!!

A quest for the perfect grilled cheese on a rainy Saturday evening led us to the M&O Station Grill. No fancy cheese, Chipotle mayo, or creative combinations for us, just a good, old-fashioned sandwich with gooey cheddar and bacon on perfectly toasted sourdough. The holy grail of sandwiches was discovered in downtown Fort Worth. I searched grilled cheese on Yelp and Google, looking for just the right image to make my mouth water, and after one stop by a gourmet sandwich food truck, and a couple of fruitless (or sandwichless) phone calls, we arrived at M&O. This was a special stop in other ways as well -- my grandmother worked at Leonard's Department Store for awhile. She created window displays and was a clothes buyer, so the museum section was a great addition to the sandwich craving and it was a lot of fun to explore after placing our order. The window displays in the museum mirrored that of the store itself, long replaced by mega department giants and Amazon deliveries. The magic of those creative displays enticing buyers inside still called to me as I took time to review the special items shown there and walk through a couple of times. It felt like home seeing all of the old stuff they have collected there, and I can't wait to return. Now for the sandwich -- it was as hoped for. Gooey cheddar enveloping perfectly cooked bacon and a side of onion rings and sliced pickles accompanied it on the side. A chocolate milkshake followed, and the day was deemed a success after a week of chaos, hard work, and seeking something special to overcome the want for a much needed break. I don't know why we haven't stopped by M&O before, but we will be going back. And it just might be to stand in the little museum, think of years past, and appreciate when customer service, well-made items, and the excitement of new things was accessible and common vs the mass marketed and mass produced items with over saturated color, flashy graphics and the new uncertainty of what is truly real that we see today. Long live the grilled cheese.

Burger was good the sauce a little sweat like the sauce in Braun's burgers. There fountain drinks are good. The guy at the register was nice and helpful. The thing that was bad was that none of the prices on the menus are correct they have the prices on a board behind the register. Management needs to step their game up y'all doin y'all customers dirty showing two prices.

The hubbs and I were hangry. He wanted a juicy burger, but I wanted a good veggie burger slathered in some yummy toppings. I called in an order to M&O and a very nice lady took my order. She even asked me how long it would take me to arrive so that they could ensure my order was "hot and fresh." I really appreciated that because I am rarely asked that question. My order included a bleu cow burger which comes with blue cheese, bacon and house sauce and the garden veggie burger which comes with swiss cheese, caramelized onions and sauteed mushrooms. I added fries as the side to each burger. When I arrived, a very nice wait person asked me if I wanted some spicy ketchup with my order ----- of course, I did! Spicy ketchup is a fab condiment. I waited about 5 minutes for my order to finish. The hubbs and I really enjoyed our burgers. The swiss cheese had caramelized on my veggie burger which paired perfectly with those caramelized onions and mushrooms. I also loved the sauce on my veggie burger. It was tangy and added even more flavor. The hubbs enjoyed his burger as well, but said the blue cheese on it lacked a bold flavor. Both of us loved the fresh hand cut fries. I really love that such a good burger spot has a veggie patty that you can sub into any of it's burger versions. That's a rarity in Fort Worth. This was a to go order, but while there I noticed some drink specials as well as some nice beer selections and milkshakes. The interior is cute, divey, and cozy. I'll have to eat in one day since I already know I'm going to try that veggie burger with other toppings. Staff was customer service friendly. There is a decent sized parking lot and some street parking. I look forward to trying more menu items.

We were at Autobahn, and rather sit and wait, opted to grab a bite. Obviously within walking distance, on a 100+ degree day. M&O Grill fit the bill. Many great burger options to choose from. Since Thuy and I were splitting, we opted for the sliders. Not the most interesting burger on the menu, and there are many, but the easiest to share. For a basic burger, very tasty. Fries very good too. And it went great with a beer, which they have on tap. Thuy surprised me with a delicious slice of apple pie for dessert. But I must say, the best part of the meal was discovering the Leonard's Museum co-located with the grill. Bottom line: Super interesting spot with a very good burger.

I met my girlfriend here for lunch and I was excited to try the burger because I've heard so many good things about it !! I ordered the original and added mustard, minus lettuce and tomato !! It was a good burger but wasn't what I was hoping for lol.. Maybe it was an off day or something but I'll give them another try sometime because Lu wants to go back for the tomato bisque!

Burgers were amazing. Tasted fresh and homemade. Fries were not too salty and perfectly crispy. The California burger was delicious. The rosemary turkey burger was also good.

Multiple visits since landing Ft. Worth months ago and never disappoints. In spite loads of choices I always stick with the house cheese burger with everything on it. It's not stupid huge and the meat/bun/ condiment ratio is perfect. I've been trying a lot of places here and this one is the stand out. Reminds me of the burgers in those joints with the 30 year old flat tops that get better with age. Fries and onion rings are excellent and the salads look good but I've never had room. Also - it's a block from the local Tesla charger if you swing that way

After a FUN dinner at Joe T's, we continued my husband's birthday celebration at M&Os to have a cocktail. We are a fun group and can get along with most any crowd. Whoa! This was a big mistake! There was a game of Kahoot going on, which seemed to entertain a younger crowd, but the service was slow and it was HOT inside! I'm one of those people who carries a sweater or hoodie with me just in case it's cold that but it was SO UNCOMFORTABLE, that our group of 8 just left. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this establishment.

Whoa, never expected this place to produce such great burgers. Definitely a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Glad my airbnb is walking distance from this place so i can grab a delicious burger anytime. We ended up getting the M&O burger and the Mushroom Swiss burger. I decided to add a side order of fries. Both burgers were great! However, i much rather prefer the M&O as it was easier to eat. the mushroom/swiss burger was really juicy and it kept dripping and hard to pick up. By the end of my meal, the burger's buns were soggy and hard to eat. The sauce they include inside the burger was very delicious. Also the fries, although small portion for 2 bucks, were excellent. crispy and fresh! They also have two different types of ketchup. One regular and one chipotle spicy. don't worry, the spicy chipotle isn't too bad, but add an extra smokiness to the ketchup. PS: this place is also connected to a small museum. The museum contains exhibits of the old leonards department store. pretty interesting to look over while you wait for your food.

Food is delicious. They haven't mastered the temperature control in the bar side yet - it was oppressively hot this last time my wife and I went. And they don't have any NA beers worth drinking. Kinda lame considering how many other boutique places have a decent selection of Athletic or Lagunitas NAs. They could do better to get us in there more often.

Had such high expectations for this place after a friend recommended eating here. Everything is a La carte, which means I'm paying additional for already overpriced food. I had the green chili chicken with onion rings. The onion rings tasted like ones I'd get off the frozen food aisle at the grocery store. The chicken sandwich was mediocre at best. Not worth the price I paid. Never again!

i've lived in fort worth for years now & made the mistake of sleeping on m&o. their menu is simple & straight to the point but it's now one of my all-time favorite places in town. they serve by far the best fries i've ever had in my life. made-to-order, hand-cut & seasoned to perfection. their chocolate milkshake has just the right amount of mexican vanilla to make it so unique but not overpowering. the burgers & sandwiches are just as incredible. bottomline - if you want amazing food without frills, m&o is the place for you.

I brought my wife here on Mothers Day for a Grilled Cheese sandwich which really wasn't nearly as good as expected given they specialize in it, I ordered 3 burger bites which were only a piece of meat with cheese on hard buns and overcooked as well, no lettuce or tomato as in the picture, both with onion rings plus an upcharge and two glasses of tea, all together cost close to $40.00, way too much for this meal. The good thing is that the bartender was helpful and friendly, sad to say I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. All I could do is apologize to my wife for bringing her the this place for Mothers Day.

We were headed down to the area to visit the distillery close by and wanted to get some great food in us before our tour. I read the reviews and decided our group 5 would enjoy coming to M&O Station Grill. The location was easy to find and there was plenty of parking on the lot and the surrounding street. With 12 different burger options, you can find a burger to fit your mood. I wanted to try the M&O Original to get a baseline established and understand the flavor that their specially marinated beef brings out. It was a classic burger with melted cheddar and their house dressing. The bun was warmed and was the perfect size for the patty. My wife got the Mushroom & Swiss Burger which looked very good. It had grilled mushrooms and stringy melted swiss cheese on top. This is another classic style burger that they do very well. We shared sweet potato fries which were good and I liked their spicy ketchup which has hints of smoky chipotle chiles in it. I would journey back to M&O station again to try another one of their burgers.

My wife and I decided to stop here before a concert at Dickies Arena and we are glad we did. I don't exaggerate when I say this, but I had the best burger I've ever had here. I had the Blue Cheese burger paired with the sweet potato fries and my wife had a Turkey Club paired with regular fries and she also loved her meal. The house sauce paired with the beef, bacon, and fixings was absolute heaven. Their spicy ketchup was also a delight for the fries. Service was absolutely stellar as well. The gentleman at the counter walked us through the menu and was just a pleasure to work with. I am looking forward to trying out the rest of their options :)

We came in to eat here after they had a write up on their chili. We got the chili, the green chile chicken burger, the California burger on mixed greens, and the fries. Everything was delicious and the owners were incredible. Family owned restaurant that we will definitely be back to!

This is a gem of a local place. Simple menu and it's all good. People in my party had the original, the patty melt and I had the mushroom and Swiss. Real deal, wonderful smash grilled on a flat top, tasty burgers. Seasoned fries were great too. Before your meal ( no food or drink in the museum please), check out the attached museum to learn how much the Leonard family made a huge contribution to Fort Worth. Friendly people, great service and great food.

Fantastic spot for a healthful and hearty burger! I LOVE that they offer grassfed and will put one of their gourmet burger patties (or other meat) on top of any salad, to create a hearty, filling, hamburger salad of your choice. So hard to find that!! The owner is often there and clearly takes pride in delivering quality, quantity, and consistency in his offerings. I have been there multiple times and never been disappointed!! If you are a FW native, and old enough to remember Leonard's Department Store, you gotta spend a little time in the museum right next door. It will take you back and is a great showcase for a little FW history.

Went for the first time with my boyfriend and was welcomed with so much hospitality from the owners and bartender! The food was so fresh and worth the money spent, we got their buffalo wings as an appetizer and they were some of the best wings I've had in a minute. I got the King George burger and my boyfriend got the California. Both had so much flavor and we needed no to go boxes if that tells you anything. Definitely a cool spot to have lunch or dinner, one of my favorites in Fort Worth! Will be getting our business often for sure. I can't forget to mention the vibes, such a cool atmosphere!

No frills joint serving delicious hamburgers. I usually get the Tijuana burger, tried their Nathan's burger, and that was good, but not as good ;) They have various options for all taste buds and even serve sandwiches and salads. They have some beer and wine options as well, and their desserts are yummy! The service is good and staff is so friendly (like family), but it is counter service (order at the counter, sit and wait to be called.) The very coolest part is that its connected to a museum feature the now closed Leonard's department store. Super neat treat to visit alone or with kids and reminisce of the good ol days and have "when i was a kid" conversations. They're open on Sunday's now! I hope they still get to go to church :)

This was a great find. My friend Ali and I ran a half marathon. We were staying at an AirBnB a quarter mile from this restaurant. I looked on Yelp for a place nearby where we could get a lunch that would satisfy the post-race craving for greasy calories. So this was an excellent demonstration of the utility of this social media platform. Although we went there because of proximity, always a good factor to consider (studies of college dating, at least before the internet, showed proximity to be the single most important determinant of the likelihood individuals would become a couple), I can recommend this establishment even if you need to drive further, because it is exactly what it purports to be. Which is a cheap local burger joint -- with beer. The burger was made to order, and even though chains are reliable a mom and pop operation that is as good as this is better. The beer was Salty Lady, one of the many unusual microbrews available. I recommend M&O Station Grill.

First experience here I really hope the food is better than the attitude/ customer service me and my mom received ordering our food from the woman in the back. The gentleman taking our order was extremely nice and welcoming but the woman helping was ignorantly rude. My mom has bad vision and i was trying to help her with using her card, instead of the woman knowing what was going on, looking and listening she heard me trying to help her and in a very rude nasty manner told my mom is if you just follow the prompts the machines works, rolled her eyes and kept talking to the other cook. So i politely expressed to her ma'am she is highly educated ( owns a catering company primary business and 2 more ) and can read, it's not the machine yet her glasses kept fogging up with the mask on making it a little difficult for her to see. I told her you don't have to speak to her in such tone. Everyone she has spoke with since entering the establishment she has been extremely snappy and unprofessional. Update: in the process of waiting on our food 4 other customers received their food before ours and she remained nasty and ignorant to us. We will not be coming back. Sad part my mom has come here for years but this is my first and last time
